The location of the hotel seems safe, with a few nearby restaurants within a few minutes walk, so it was convenient to get a good meal at an affordable price. The room was on the first floor, and being able to park the car just outside the room was another plus. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. Room was decent for the price. However, the continental breakfast was bare minimum and very disappointing, basically just cereal, milk, bread, a few apples, some kind of fruit punch and orange water.

I had asked for a non smoking room and it smell like smoke as soon as I walked into room. Bedsheets were dirty. Seemed like someone was in that room before we arrived. Did not enjoy my stay at all!

The staffer could not find my reservation. He wanted to charge 10 bucks for 10min early check in. When he finally found my reservation he stated he only have smoking room and I will need to pay extra for non smoking double bed. I showed my reservation for king non smoking. I ended up paying 25 extra for double bed non smoking. AC made loud noise. Maintenance to replace unit. Towels were used and thread was unraveling. I went to buy towels. Sheets had holes. Upon check there wasn’t anyone. Doors was locked. No receipt. Oh yeah tub was clogged and bathroom door handle was falling off. Only reason I stayed was because I was too beat from the sun and medical conditions.

The rooms were clean and nice but when I went to take a shower the faucet wouldn't close properly so it leaked all night I couldn't sleep. Then I woke up at one point during the night and the floor was wet i slipped. Apparently if you lower the a/c the floor sweats and becomes grossly wet and slippery.

Room was ok, we were too tired from our travels to complain about splatter substance on the ceiling, facial hair all over the sink, a noisy AC that kept waking us up in the middle of the night and used zip ties found on the nightstand. Didnt know whether to be scared or laugh 😔 Breakfast offered was cereal, watered down orange juice drink, water, coffee, fruit punch, toast, and packaged muffins and bananas/apples. We chose this place cause of the breakfast included. Was hoping for at least a waffle bar.

Outside: standard motel. Inside: worth it!

This was one of 6 hotels we stayed at on our recent trip. It was the least expensive. I was the only place with a full fridge and freezer. There was a fully functioning AC and was the only room with a ceiling fan as well. The room was a good size and the cleanest of the 6.

This isn't a resort... it's a motel. You're here to sleep and this place does great at doing what you need.

Worst Hotel we have ever stayed at. Had a horrible experience from check in to check out. DO NOT STAY HERE!! Room smelled like cigarettes even though it was non smoking room, hair dryer did not work, restroom door did not close since knob was broken, tub water would not drain .we were not allowed to get clean towels till you returned the dirty ones. Pool towels not provided had to go buy at a store. Only given 1 room key and was not allowed a 2nd one. Was questioned like it was a 5star hotel..lol... all around worst hotel ever!!

We booked a reservation and when we called to confirm our booking. The hotel personnel told us we didn’t have a booking so we had to go somewhere else last minute. However, they charged us a no-show fee. Never experienced this from a hotel ever. Will never try to stay there again.

The mirror had a crack in the room, the remote was sticky and nothing would clean it! I had to go buy clorax wipes to wipe down the room and spray Lysol for the smell. The ironing board cover was filthy with some brown stains. The towels smelt horrible…….
The property had repairs and the debris was still near parking area so we had to be careful when loading and in loading our car. We had to be careful not to step on broken tile or counter tops as we walk to surrounding restaurants……

The first thing we noticed was the floor was not swept/mopped. It was real dusty and the fixtures, bed frame etc were extremely dusty. The room had a musty smell that did not go away even after the AC was on. The ironing board had wires sticking out damaging my clothes. The mini refrigerator was dirty and the freezer was over iced. I was not expecting a five star hotel here, but I was expecting more.

When I booked the property, they said they had three rooms available. When I got to the property they only had one room left and it was a smoking room, which never said anything about a smoking room when I reserved. There was leftover food in the refrigerator from the previous guests. There’s no soap on the soap dispenser in the shower and no shampoo or conditioner and soap dispenser so my daughter and I ended up showering with only water in the front desk. Attendant was a rude, and not helpful at all. I hope and pray I never have to stay in a place like this again horrible experience. Definitely not even worth a dollar.

Saw a roach upon entering the bathroom. The smoke detector was off of the wall snd had no battery to put it back on the wall. The comforter had burns in it. And the breakfast options were very limited. It didn't seem like it had been cleaned between customers and the soap dispensers were all empty.

The staff rejected our request for an extra towel and extra pillow. There were these people staying beside my room who were fighting and making so much noise until 4-5 am. This is a very cheap and low quality motel even though the price was expensive. The worst experience I ever had.

it was a nice room, pictures look a bit different of the room but i got what i asked for. the jacuzzi was perfect. the only issue with our stay was that when i went to check in we were there around 3 & they told us i couldn’t check in until maybe 40 minutes later bcs their cleaning lady didn’t show. that was fine to me no big deal and we asked for an hour late checkout since they’re using up our check in time & they agreed. however, day of checkout we woke up around early 11 to banging on the door & my bf goes to check & it was a guy who worked there saying in a rude tone that we were late for checkout. our original checkout time was 11 but with that extra hour they agreed to it was supposed to be 12. so i tell my bf to tell him they said we had an extra hour bcs we couldn’t check in till like an hour later & the man said rudely ‘idc ur late ur checkout was at 11’ this is not a good thing to wake up to. we were planning on waking up 20 minutes before 12 since our stuff was already packed up and ready since it was only a 2 day stay. so being woken up like that was annoying only because they agreed to give us that extra hour due to their cleaning inconvenience. it ruined my bfs mood cus i told him the lady told us we got an extra hour and this man is coming at our door banging on it telling us to hurry up.

When we were there, lobby was closed with Covid being the reason, but everywhere else was already open. That made check-in feel shady, doing it on a small window. There was also roofing repairs, which is a good thing long-term, but it meant there were several workers and construction materials all the time. Our rental car was scratched in the parking lot probably by another guest or from the work. Unsure.

The property has clean rooms and are quite nice. The only two things I didn’t like was that I was supposed to pay at the property with a check-in time if 3 pm but my credit card was checked at noon of my arrival date and time. Second is that I left one day earlier because of my job and there was no reimbursement of that day that I did not use which was August 5th. My stay was from August 2-6. I should have been reimbursed for the day I didn’t use but instead got charged for it. Any other hotel I would get my unused day reimbursed. I will seek another hotel when my job takes me to Brownsville again.

I didn’t like much at all. When I checked in he charged me for checking in 2 hours early and gave me much attitude for not putting children on my reservation which was my mistake but he charged me extra for that as well. I’ll never stay here again the service was terrible and to be greeted with hostility and higher prices was unsettling. The crazy thing is the guy I spoke with to explain my dismay about my greeting/ checkin was phenomenal. His customer service was great I mean they even charged for extra towels for goodness sakes. Who charges extra for towels at a beach destination smh. Plus the rooms are like a hourly hotel. Stay sucks hotel sucks

So loud! Could hear all other residents partying all night (seems to be a place to house young on the road work crews). Old property that I can see they are trying to improve, but it feels unsafe. Breakfast was not good (spoiled juice, broken waffle iron for waffles, stale cereal, old muffins). Don’t stay here.
