Good hotel. Staff unpleasant as a matter of personality -- better suited to be front desk at a bus station. As a past guest we requested room with view; we were given room facing a wall 10' away when the hotel was more than 1/2 empty. Good hotel; very poor desk staff. They need re-training in a different profession.

Stayed about 7 days and left to another hotel, because horrible insistent at the spa. The spa got a large nice swimming pool ( that was the only reason we stayed there) however a hotel guard is very aggressive and we left because he run in to the females shower screaming and threatening to me and my young 11y old daughter ( who was on the shower). He knew we were there but decided to come in there to scream and threaten us, because we were a few minutes late the spa closing time. It was really scary experience. Please be very careful there especially if you are a female. The security guard is dangerous and capable for anything.

I loved everything about your beautiful hotel and property. So convenient in every way. Staff, rooms, breakfast, spa and so on were great. Dinner at La Gare was the only disappointment. during out 2 night stay. Food not great and service was lacking.

Every year I attend the Swiss Open Tennis in Gstaad. The hotel is conveniently located five minutes by foot from the Toy Emerson stadium and directly in front of the main train station. What is also good about the hotel are the different restaurants located both within (4 restaurants) but also many others located around the area. The staff are very friendly and are the same personnel for many years. Always a good sign. If the weather is having a bad day then stay in the hotel and visit their indoor swimming pool. There really is everything you could wish for.

Reception staff were warm and friendly. Breakfast service was awful and the choice was unimpressive. Rooms are old and dated and pillows thin and too soft. Smoke from the outside terrace easily passes into the rooms and makes enjoying the balcony impossible. The cleaning staff were noisy from early hours, banging and crashing making a nice lie in impossible. Overall this is overpriced and overrated.

Breakfast was also delicious and the soft boiled eggs were the beat I have ever had. Very fresh and if the highest quality. The scrambled eggs were also absolutely delicious as was everything else, breads, jams, cheeses etc. I travel extensively and this hotel rates at the absolute top of my list. Could t have been better!

More than 600 CHF a night for worse than three star hotel condition. Room was big, but not even basic amenities were available such as tooth paste. Breakfast was simple but ok. Important information I missed, please drive tothe death end of Gstaad entrance and turn right to the train station and then left to the hotel barriere. Go to the reception and all comes good ;-)

Nous avons adoré le Bernerhof!!! L’hôtel est au centre du village piétonnier, et les restaurants étaient vraiment très bons! Surtout la fondue et le grill! Le personnel était tres attentifs et toutes les mesures du Covid-19 sont respectées. Le petit déjeuner a été repensé car ils ne peuvent avoir un buffet - et c’était extra car ils apportent les items qu’on souhaite manger à la table directement! Le pain était tout simplement délicieux! Nous y retournerons!!!!

Professional service throughout. Incredibly well placed hotel in the middle of Gstaad. Restaurants serving classical Swiss dishes to Chinese cuisine. In some restaurants service was a bit slow especially at the Chinese. Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone interested in visiting this area. The use of the indoor pool is also a plus.

Gstaad駅真ん前で大変便利。割と広い部屋で2ベッド、毎日お水のサービス、Wi-Fi無料、朝食はコンチネンタルにしては良い。受付の人も感じが良い。悪い点は湯沸かしが無い、バスタブが無い、シャワーは天井に固定されたのと可動の二つがあるが固定式の方がしっかり止まらず雫が落ちてきて困った。また部屋の位置によるのはわかるが、眺望が良くなくてガッカリした。でも他に不満はないし、受付の人は親切でジャンパーの船木さんを知ってるとかチェックインの時名前で呼ばれてビックリした。Gstaadはとても素敵なところだし、もう少し安ければ毎年でも行きたいと思います。

Wir waren zwei Nächte im Bernerhof. Schönes Hotel mit kleinem aber feinem Spa-Bereich. Sehr freundliches Personal - als wir bei der Ankunft nach einem Fernseher fragten um einen Tennismatch zu schauen richteten die Mitarbeitenden gar ein kleines Home-Cinema für uns ein. Da war schon fast wieder vergessen, dass das im Vorfeld angefragte und bestätigte Extra-Bett im Zimmer fehlte. Frühstück ist OK, Lage war für uns perfekt.

Wunderbare Tage in Gstaad. Das Hotel ist sehr gut und bietet kulinarisch eine super Auswahl. Preislich im oberen Bereich, leider sind die Zimmer im ersten Stock (Bad) renovierungsbedürftig. Auf Bildern wird teilweise eine Nespresso Maschine gezeigt, diese ist im Zimmer nicht vorhanden.
