The Park Gstaad is situated right in the heart of Gstaad, close to the famous town Promenade. It consists of 84 rooms and 10 suites, of which “My Gstaad Chalet” is the largest suite facility of the Swiss Alps, a 400m² penthouse suite over two floors.
The interior design, a warm chalet style with a modern finish, reflects the authentic Swiss charm of its surroundings. The hotel proposes three restaurants and three bars: “Avenue Montagne”, inspired by nature, comes under the direction of our Executive Chef who delivers indulgent and creative menus, combining traditional and contemporary recipes.
“Chubut Food & Fire” serves delicately seasoned meats, deliciously fragrant spices and newly thought textures under the concept of Food & Fire. Nestled in the hotel's gardens, “Chalet Waldhuus” offers delicious local specialties in Swiss rustic mountain atmosphere.
“Caveau” is where delicious wine and cheese tastings take place. “Cigar Lounge” is the place to sit back, relax and savour cigars and exclusive cognacs.
The hotel bar offers beers, wines and cocktails as well as the finest sushi. The 1,000m² spa provides pampering and tranquillity with an array of rejuvenating treatments, indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub area, gym and personal trainer, saunas, hammam, bath and all-natural JK7 products.
The Park Gstaad is also home to its very own indoor golf simulator.

I can honestly say Park Gstaad is my favourite place I have ever stayed. Highly recommend Gstaad in summer and if you go then stay at Park! The hotel is beautiful and has everything you need, including the most stunning views. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and always willing to help out.

Also, I have a small dog and this is the first hotel I’ve stayed at that says it is dog friendly and really means it! That doesn’t mean there are lots of naughty dogs around but as a dog owner it was fabulous. And none of that compromises on the luxury, comfort of cleanliness f the hotel.

We loved our three nights at the Park Gstaad. Service was excellent all around. Food was generally very good, Chubut was particularly nice - one of the better steaks we’ve had in Switzerland.
We heard they are renovating soon… not necessary but I’m sure it will be taken to an even higher level. The main spaces could be a bit more generous in scale - but we found the rooms quite comfortable and liked the configuration which limits hallway/bathroom noise from the rest of the space.
Only miss the whole stay was the sushi in the bar area… the quality was mediocre, rice was hard and cold on the maki.
We have stayed at the Alpina and many other Gstaad/Swiss high end hotels - we consider the Park Gstaad near the top of the list and will be back.

The hotel is excellent. One of the best I have ever stayed. Impeccable service without being stuffy and formal. High quality restaurant and bar. As a solo traveller you can sometimes feel a bit out of place . The bar and restaurant looked after me exceptionally. Concierge recommended a couple of great hikes. I used the gym - large space and equipment well spaced out. Room very quiet, good size balcony and great views and very well fitted out.

İ have stayed in many hotels but this hotel’s staff is outstandig. I can rate their service and their attetude as 10/10. From receptionist to Room service, restaurant staff to porter, breakfast staff to the Driver, not one of them ever failed to smile, failed to deliver the best service i have ever has. I cant praise them enough. Plus the breakfast was so good so are the rooms. Very modern and clean. Highly reccomented.

The Park is a great hotel. Rooms are very well thought through. Restaurant / bar also great. Main issue is the spa, which is disappointing compared to other 5* hotels in Gstaad. This spa has a communal swimming pool, but segregated steam rooms and sauna. Hardly worthwhile if you want to go to the spa with your spouse. If you want a top spa Bellevue is superb, and I believe Alpina is also good.

What a five star is all about
Located up a hill but not far away. It's about 10 minutes from the center of the room. We had outstanding service and they make a point to know our names. The doorman, the kindly Josef was outstanding. The rooms were big and modern. We didn't have the expensive mountain view but the forest view was outstanding and beautiful....like a tree house almost. Yes it isn't the Palace but much cheaper. Expedia included about $120 voucher for dinner but didn't buy one complete dinner even minus the drinks but Expedia only one that gave that offer. We enjoyed the stay.

We had an enjoyable stay and were impressed by the hotel staff's willingness to assist when we were allocated a room which did not have the facilities we had booked.
We understand this is an expensive hotel and expected to pay top prices however renting skis from the onsite Silver Sport Ski shop should be avoided. A rate of 147euros per person per day! A short 6 min walk to Brand Ski shop and you can rent for a lot less than that for 3 days and the staff were much more knowledgeable.

A truly excellent hotel
It's not cheap, but you don't really expect it to be. Having said that, I've stayed in plenty of 5 star luxury hotels , and I have to say that in terms of friendliness of staff, cleanliness of everything, helpfulness all round the hotel could not be faulted at all.

Who needs an ocean view?!
They boys and I are convinced there's no need to stay anywhere else when we come to Seaside, everything is close by, the view of the river is fabulous, and serene. The hotel staff is genuinely freindly and interactive, so you feel as if they're glad you're staying there, just so they could meet you! Walk to anything, including the beach....what's not to like? If the weather is tempermental, you have the fireplace and indoor pool, with hottub. The kitchen is fully stocked so no need to eat all your meals out (unless that's what you like, then go for it!) Even the grocery store is within a nice walk's distance....Definitely feel lucky to have happened upon this gem! We will be back!
