Second time staying at this hotel, this time on the new building and we loved it! Very spacious suite with outdoor space which was perfect for our dog. A short walk from the river and across the road from a number of options. 5 minute walk from town. We really enjoyed staying here again and will be back.

This is a lovely and comfortable hotel in a quiet street in but near the center of everything. The room for us was ample, clean, and updated. The bedding is crisp and comfortable. I really like their policy: if you can't sleep, they'll bring you a glass of hot milk and honey.

Good, not exceptional.

Pleasant stay, few disappointments. The positive: hotel location is great, room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was very good and staff is friendly and helpful.
The negative: the room I booked was a “Superior Room” in annex building. A bit underwhelming considering it was one of the most expensive rooms. A bit worn looking and decor was not what I would expect of a 4 star superior room. Weather was very warm during this stay and the AC in the room was not good. Temp was controlled so room never really cooled off. There is onsite parking but very difficult to find the entrance. You have to take a car elevator to underground parking- no signage to guide.
Overall stay was good, however not exceptional for the price paid. A regular room is probably a better value.

A charming, quiet hotel in a historic building. It is located a very short walk from the old town and the Alte Mainbrücke.
As a side note, the bedding in the room was excellent. They have particularly soft fluffy pillows. I will book the same hotel on my next trip to Wurzburg.

Comfortable, central hotel with excellent service

Despite being on a main road, it is quiet and there is a covered parking next to the hotel.
The air condition is relatively quiet and very efficient, even when the outside temperature is above 35 C degrees, as it was the case during our stay.

Our Deluxe Room was huge, clean, nicely modern decorated, very well compartmented, with a walk-in wardrobe at the back.
We enjoyed the free water and the wine gift.
The restaurant must be good, but being so hot, we did not fancy a 3 or 5 course meal, so we dined at terraces in the area.
Sumptuous breakfast and very helpful service.

Air conditioning in room not working, no one at the hotel to fix it when reported.
Sheets with blood stints on it, ( dirty) when complain , reception clerck came up and gave to us 3 sets of sheets as he did know which one is the right one and does not know how to change it and there is no person in charge of that area at the hotel, therefore we end up changing the sheets.
Never go back to a Best Western again.
This hotel looks like was managed by a mom and papas hotel rather than a chain and Us 230 for a night in a best western is not a small price, specially for the servide we got it.

This historic hotel is in an older part of Wuerzburg. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. There was plenty of room to move about in the bathroom. The air conditioning worked great. I arrived in my room to find a personalized pair of slippers. Most of the staff speaks English as well as German. The breakfast is extra but has a good selection of things to eat. Meat, cheeses, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, assorted rolls, waffles, fruit, yogurt, juices, milk, and lots more. Even the hard boiled eggs had pictures drawn on them with nice greetings. I made reservations here because I was interested in doing genealogy research at the Wuerzburg Diocese Catholic Archives and it is only a 5-10 minute walk. The hotel is walking distance from the Wuerzburg Residence and gardens, the river and the Old Main Foot Bridge as well as the center of old town. There are four restaurants across the street, a bakery two blocks away and a Trolley stop also. The hotel offers food for lunch and dinner. I recommend the crunchy chicken salad. There was a parking garage just behind it with plenty of spaces. You may possible get a reduced rate through the hotel. There was a coffee machine and mini fridge in my room that was well stocked. I don't drink coffee so the staff bought hot chocolate for me instead! There is a free bottle of mineral water and a bottle of Franconian wine in the room also. I don't drink alcohol either so I was offered a soft drink instead. Great Hotel!

The hotel is probably the best hotel in Wurzburg. The hotel has the best of both worlds. The room and lobby are yo to American standards but what makes this hotel unique is their amazing staff. We flew in to Frankfurt and went directly to the hotel. When we arrived at 10 am our room was not ready so the Stephanie who checked us offered us a smaller room to rest in and take a shower. while our room got ready. They went out of their way to make sure we make the best of our experience their. Later that night we met Susanne and asked for water and a recommendation for a place to go to dinner. She told us that since it is Sunday night we can go to their bar and help our self yo drinks and water. She also went out of her way to make sure we find a restaurant that suited both myself and my husband . I am a very picky person but the staff at this hotel truly impressed me.

We were welcomed by a very friendly front desk staff who explained the hotel amenities thoroughly. Our room had a nice hand written welcome sign on the door and we were surprised when we opened the door to a spacious well-appointed room...unusual for most Euro-style hotels. The bar and restaurant were extremely well designed and promoted a cozy atmosphere....food and drinks were awesome! We will be back to the Rebstock the next time we come to fabulous Wurzburg!

I usually do not write reviews but this hotel deserves one. Hotel staff was always extremely friendly, accommodating, and on top of things. Great overall experience. Haven't had that in too many hotels, and I have sen quite a few.

Very friendly and personable staff. Lots of little extras like welcome bottle of water and an orange, slippers with my name painted on, cappuccino machine in room.
Modern room. Location close to tourist sites. Take the tram from train station and gets you a block away.

Best in Wuerzburg

If you stay only in 5 star hotels then initially you may be little disappointed. But slowly this hotel grows on you. Hotel staff is very nice and friendly and extremely helpful. It is only walking distance from most tourist attractions like the Wuerzburg Residence and the downtown area.

Das Einzelzimmer 205 war eine Katastrophe... Fenster undicht, Schweißgeruch im Zimmer und die Dusche braucht 1-2min bis warmes Wasser kommt... also ich war selten so enttäuscht, zumal ich das Rebstock in einem Doppelzimmer ganz anders erlebt habe. Aus meiner Sicht kann man so ein Zimmer in einem solchen Hotel nicht anbieten!

The hotel is located in a well manatained historical building. Indeed, the building was impressive, and we really had the feeling of living a piece of the Wurzburg history.

The room was huge, and we had windows all over the room. The furniture was nice and perfectly matched the hotel style. Apart from the bedroom, there was an entrance where we could leave some stuff, and a nice bathroom with a huge shower.

We also received a small bottle of local wine (Riesling) as present from the Hotel.

The hotel is located very near to the town centre, which is definitely worth the visit.

Wenig Liebe zum Detail

Zimmer im Neubau sind schön (letztes Mal hatten wir ein lautes und abgewohntes Zimmer im Altbau neben dem Fahrstuhl). Leider waren die schönen Armaturen ziemlich schwergängig. Die Weckuhr auf dem Nachttisch ging runde 15 min nach. Frühstücksbüffet ist eher durchschnittlich; Obstsalat fast nur mit Melone.

In die Jahre gekommenes Zimmer

Unser Standardzimmer (301) ist von der Einrichtung her ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen, dunkel mit Blick auf die wenige Meter entfernte Hauswand gegenüber und wegen des danebenliegenden Aufzugs nicht ruhig gelegen. Nicht der Klasse des Hotels und dem Preis angemessen.

Wir waren über das Wochenende in Würzburg. Unser Zimmer war sehr sauber, ruhig in den Innenhof gelegen. Als absolutes Highlight muss ich aber das Personal hervorheben. Mein Partner hatte Geburtstag während des Wochenendes und man hat sich extrem Mühe gegeben dies zu feiern: Auf dem Frühstückstisch wartete ein kleines Präsent, das Personal brachte Kuchen und gratulierte und beim Auschecken gab es noch ein kleines Give Away. Besten Dank an das gesamte Team, wir waren heillos begeistert :)

Nettes Hotel

Das Hotel insgesamt ist schön. Das Zimmer war geräumig, hatte genug Stauraum, das Bad hatte eine schöne große Dusche und einen richtigen Fön, was nicht immer der Fall ist.
Das Frühstück war prima, es war alles da. Der Raum war auch angenehm ruhig.
Der einzige Wermutstropfen war die Lautstärke von der Straße, dadurch waren die Nächte etwas durchwachsen.
