This is the third time I used Red Roof Inn for convention. I always enjoyed staying there. It is peaceful and clean and close to alot of restaurants and shopping area. It is very easy to check in and the staff is very helpful. There is a laundry room, and swimming pool. There are vending machines and ATM in the lobby. The only thing that is difficult is there is no elevator the last time I checked in there so I always request for a first floor room if it is available. Overall, the price is affordable, and it is close to the convention center and to alot of shopping area.

It was cheap and worked for what we needed. However highly recommend bringing your own towels, bedding and Clorox wipes. Floors were dirty and questionable stains found in bedding, towels and on the walls. The lock was broken so we had to put a chair in front of the door at night. I will say it was quiet and had a fridge and microwave. Air conditioning worked but smelled when we first turned it on.

The receptionist was talking about stabbing herself with knitting needles!
Hotel was very worn and old.
Black lines around the base boards where the floor has been mopped.
Previous guests hairs everywhere.
A/C unit falling off the wall
Pillows were very poor.
On the plus side, the shower was very good and the mattress was comfortable.

We stayed for 1 night. There were stains on the bed and the towels and also on the toilet. The door had a half inch gap that I had to cover with a towel and was really dirty on the inside. The room was very old and run down. Had we been staying more than one night I would have left to go somewhere else.

The towels were the consistency of sandpaper with stains and slightly gray overall, in color. In addition, they were the size of a small child’s towel. The bed spread was stained and the pillows, mattress and bedding were itchy and extremely old/damaged. The room itself was it was in need of overall repair. Paint damage, water damage, bed frame popping when you sat down, stains in tub, needs updated wiring for electronic devices, and just really dirty. The only thing thankfully missing from our stay were some bugs.

We have a service dog. The room we were in was convenient for both the dog and the senior citizens who travel with her. The room looked clean, but smelled awful. I think that it needed mopped and freshened after the last dogs were there. The staff was friendly and helpful. The price was good and overall the property was in fairly good condition. The bed and pillows weren't great, but I had worse.

While to room was clean, it was very old and rundown. Missing parts on the wall and shelves. Staff was ok. I do like that they done charge for your pets to stay. We were disappointed to have the pool closed down for part of our stay.

This hotel is just fine for a no-frills stay. There are not many amenities, but the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked. I was disappointed in the size of the sink area, but the shower was roomy enough and the water was hot.

Towels and wash clothes are outdated, beds are well worn in, room walls are in need of repainting, back steps had mud on them for the two days we stayed along with the mirrors needed a shining along with dusting. We give it a three star over all and might stay there one more time since already have the reservation.

The check in was great. The staff is friendly courteous and helpful. The room and halls should be cleaned. There was debris on the floor even a dead bug in front of the bathtub. There are several places where paint needs to be used . The beds are old somewhat uneven. But I got what I paid for. should be cleaned

Let me say this, the staff was super friendly. That's the end of the good, here. I'm not sure who approved our room as \"clean\" but it was a disaster. Walls and floors were covered in different bodily fluids, stains everywhere and the odor had me choking upon entry. We checked out a few minutes after we arrived. I told the associate up front that the room should be taken out of order and sanitized. I need to check Expedia's quality policy because I feel swindled out of a room night.

The staff was really welcoming and very nice. You get what you pay for sure. The room on the surface was clean but their walls, doors, bathroom frames are really gross and you can tell it has been deep cleaned in a very long time. It makes sense with the price point, so don't expect a clean feel when you stay here. Definitely just a place to crash foe the night. No pet fee which was great for a budget stay. 4 stars just because of the price, and there was a microwave and fridge.

It's nice they let our dog stay for free, but the hotel is a bit run down and rooms are not as nice as they appear in the photos. The blanket on our bed had a large hole in it and belonged in the trash. Beds are springy and uncomfortable. At $84 the room was not cheap enough for what you get.

Was dirty and grimey in room with stains on sheets and yowels and even unknown goo on walls and baseboards and walls were dirty and had hair on them along with dust. AC worked but was super loud. Bathtub had hair in it and hair along floors. Had to buy my own sheets since the ones \"clean\" has stains and hair on them. Room smelled musty and bathroom stunk of sewer and so did hallway.

The TV didn’t work in the first room, I was put in another room however that one didn’t work either.. went and talked to staff, she had someone look at the tv .. she got it working but about 20 minutes later the tv went out again, I tried to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. It was late so I just went down the next day. The room was dirty , 3 out of the 4 towels were stained and very thin, but when I went down and complained they did bring a new tv and clean towels . Very disappointed in the room quality for the money I spent. They also don’t have anything for breakfast. Bare to the bones hotel.

Staff was awesome, but rooms smelled. We had to get air fresheners for the room. Also we needed to purchase new pillows since the pillows in the rooms were like sleeping on a pizza box.

The towels had stains on them, and it just seemed the upkeep was not really a priority. If it wasn’t for the great staff there the review would be a 2.

Great weekend getaway with pets.

Everything was great. We were pleasently suprised thar our 1 dog was welcome at no additional charge. Pet friendly. The staff was so wonderful and friendly. We were sad to find there was not breakfast offered as Hotels.com advertises this hotel as having hot breakfast. The hotel does keep hot coffee in the lobby but no breakfast. This is not a negative against the hotel, hotels.com just needs to update their descriptions.
Red Roof Inn was a great place to stay for the weekend.

I was almost willing to ignore the dirty sock left in the corner. Gross, yes, but fine — maybe housekeeping missed it, I even overlooked the disgusting baseboards. What I could not ignore were the urine stained sheets! Yes, you read that right. When my teen pulled back the covers to go to sleep, he saw urine stained sheets. I thought he was joking, I could only WISH he was. But it wasn’t a joke. That isn’t only disgusting, but a full-on health hazard. The sock, in combination with the dirts base/floors & dirty sheets shows no one here cares, no one checks, and clearly no one cleans. This wasn’t “oops, small mistake” this was disgusting.

To top it all off, I reached out multiple times by phone, email, & Expedia survey giving this place a chance to at least apologize or offer some explanation. Guess what? No call back, no email, no shred of professionalism. It’s almost impressive how they’re able to just ignore me. I understand they don’t want to give me a refund, they clearly need it money more…but the fact they haven’t addressed this (health hazard) at all is bizarre.

Save yourself the nightmare and stay literally anywhere else; unless you like rolling around in filth then this place is for you!! Sleeping in your car is more respectful than this disgrace. But…I should have known better based on the price. My kids nicknamed this place the Cecil Hotel how creepy/gross it was.

The only good thing about this place was Stacey, the front desk clerk…

tub was clogged. staff were okay. place was quiet. pool closed too early and opened late so it felt like you can’t really use it. room was dusty so if you have allergies like my kids, prepare medication. they serve coffee nothing else. they have tables outside where we ate and that was okay until someone who smokes decides they wanna stay there too. it was a smoking area apparently. there was no other area for us to sit in and enjoy a meal except that spot. they have a vending machine which our kids made sure to use lol.

I had an amazing stay. Stacy checked me in and gave me a really nice room. It's very clean and my room got cleaned everyday and got fresh towels everyday. The location is close to everything and really close to alot of food places. Its roomy and the room I srayed at is relatively quiet considering that I am a room away from the guest laundry, ice machine, as well as the vending machine. The bed feels new and looks like the place is well-maintained. I only stayed for 2 nights but would stay again whenever I needed to stay at St. George.
