I stayed 6 nights in this hotel, The second night when I noticed no housekeepers came to clean the room I went to the front desk and requested housekeeping service for my room
And that was actuallythe only time they came to clean the room on the whole six nights. .

The positives were excellent front desk staff available at all hours, good fitness room, room was kept clean and breakfast most days provided options to eat healthily. I appreciated also that there was an accessible laundry room and front desk had coins to operate it.

Our room was spacious, with tons of storage and a very comfortable bed! The pool/jacuzzi area was especially beautiful and we used it almost daily. The staff were always very friendly and helpful! The kitchenette was a bit small but we will definitely stay here again in the future.

This hotel was just okay. It was an extremely small room. We booked a large suite, the largest one available, however the amenities of this large suite were squished into a regular sized room. There wasn’t enough room to turn around in the bathroom area, no counter space at all. The hotel is older now and showing its age. For a Marriott, we thought it would have been better kept. It needs a good deep cleaning. The pool area is beautiful, but again the pool itself was needing to be cleaned. The staff was great, they were kind and helpful. All in all, disappointed and probably won’t stay again. The suite was so small and cramped, it did not provide the space that was needed.

Our suite only had 1 bathroom for the entire suite. It was hard with 6 people. It was very clean but service was slow, maybe they were under staffed.

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was pretty good and great breakfast hours.

They deactivated our keys 1 hr before our checkout which we had to go too the office to get it activated again. Consequently the cleaning staff entered our room without knocking before we checked out.

Overall we liked it there and we recommend it, but there is definitely room for improvement

We had the two bedroom suite, which was advertised as sleeping 6. The pullout bed said it’s a double, but it seemed more like a twin than a double. Also, the mattress was pretty bad—all springs and no comfort. Fortunately, I had two twin air mattresses with us, so my sons slept on those instead of the pullout bed.

We also found two items missed by the housekeeping crew from someone’s prior stay. A stray ear plug and the top of a squeeze pouch that rolled out from under the couch when we opened it for the mattress. Easy enough to pick up but it seems like they should have been noticed. Other than those two items, everything was perfectly clean and well-maintained.

We appreciated the free breakfast options, though they were pretty limited. Fairly typical of these kind of hotels, however, and the staff kept everything restocked during the breakfast time.

The TownePlace staff were extremely friendly, and we appreciated the quick and easy check-in process.

Despite the minor issue of the discomfort of the pullout bed, we had a positive stay and would definitely stay here again. The room felt more spacious than expected. The room was quiet, and there was no noise transfer from other guests.

Nice kitchenette if you want to cook. Rooms are small, dated, horrible smells can come
from other rooms who choose to cook. They serve a free breakfast but it could be upgraded. Food was microwaved quiche bites, and microwaved breakfast sandwiches. All and all, it looks nice from the outside but not so great on the inside.

Every time we go out of town my kids have to hit the pool. With the weather chilly we were bummed that the pool was freezing. The breakfast was cramped and set up poorly to accommodate more than a few families and the bathroom was small with no extra space in the room for our luggage. The view of the St. George valley was beautiful from the front of the hotel but the back of the hotel was my favorite! The outdoor barbecue area with tables and grass surrounded by lush vegetation and the pool hot tub area with the peaceful water fountain and surrounding palm trees was just beautiful. Twinkling lights strung over head made the area sparkle day and night. The hotel was clean and well appointed with everything you could need for a weekend stay or an extended stay. We’ll definitely be back.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I would say that is the best part of staying here. I had to stay because my ac broke. I moved in for 2 nights with my husband, 3 month old, and 2 cats. The pet charge for the 2 cats was $75 total for both cats for the 2 nights which i thought was pretty reasonable. The room was really comfortable and very clean. The rooms are updated and have a fully stocked small kitchen area. There is even 2 burners, a dishwasher, and a full size fridge in the kitchen. There was also a nice sofa in the room. They gave me a pack n play for a crib which was free, but the only complaint i have about the entire stay is the pack n play was a little worn down and the foam pad inside not comfortable and didn't fit the pack n play. My baby ended up underneath the pad half the time. Besides this the stay was wonderful and i would highly recommend this hotel.

Almost just right, still worth trying

Great spot. Desk staff was delightful, and breakfast each morning was quite good. The hotel is very clean and in a nice area, close to dining and shopping but still quiet. My only quibble is with the placement of the TV. It's off to one side of both the queen beds and the couch, so that you can't easily settle to watch TV without turning your head. It's ok for casual viewing, but we were watching a basketball game that was important to us, which left us a little uncomfortable. Our room was next to the elevator -- maybe that had something to do with the odd arrangement? On a positive note, noise from the elevator was not a problem.

The room was ok I understand they were full and I think we might have been in their last room. We were in a handicap room on the 1st floor. It was fine until we walked into the bathroom and there was a handicap shower seat in there. That was just really gross. It made the whole room feel dirty. They need to keep that seat somewhere else unless someone needs it. It was just really gross and dirty sitting there.

The hotel was nice, every staff member we ran into was really nice. The pool area was absolutely amazing. The hot tub was super hot, which was really nice, especially since it was so windy while we were there. The beds were the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. Breakfast, while sparse, had some different hot options each morning. Some mornings it was a breakfast sandwich, some it was scrambled eggs, one morning they even had a jalapeno souffle.
My ONE AND ONLY complaint about this hotel, is the parking lot. It wasn't very well thought out, and its one of THE worst parking lots I've personally ever seen. Most nights, there wasn't parking anywhere in the parking lot. A few times, we parked on the road, since the other parking lot is used for the hotel next door. The parking lot definitely needs redone, but the rest of the hotel was amazing, and we would stay there again!

The room was totally fine for me. The kitchen is very small but appeared to be adequately stocked. I was only there for about 18 hrs total and was by myself, so the size of the room didnt matter. But it is a pretty small room. The fitness center had 2 treadmills and one elliptical and a set of free weights, and very little floor space.

Overcharged inadvertently

I used a free voucher i earned on hotels.com for the room. I had to pay the difference plus taxes. At check in my card was ran twice. Once for incidentals and then again for the full price of the room. If i hadn't checked my credit card charges i would have never known until it was too late to do anything about it. I questioned the front desk staff about this charge and i was told it was an inadvertent charge and that it would be refunded in a couple business days. I hope this is right.

Have stayed here about 30 nights in the last 3 years. Usually it is a pretty convenient place. Place seems to be cutting costs at the gurst expense. Hot water ran out every morning, breakfast became tired aftern2 days and i got no response from the manager after our dog was attacked by another guests dog thatvgot off its leash. I complained but never heardnfrom the manager. The last 5 nights of our stay we felt like we were held captive. Every time the other dog (locked and loaded pit bull) saw our dog it became unglued and the owner could hardly keep it back. Anyway this was my go to in St. George but not anymore.

We only stayed one night, so I have limited experience at this hotel. It was clean and quiet. I was pretty annoyed that the person working the night shift didn’t know how to check me in correctly, and charged me for the room after I had already been charged by Expedia. Her communication sucked too. Breakfast is average, fairly abysmal hotel fare, but you have a kitchen, so make your own! :) I liked having a little oven in the room (I baked a muffin cake for our breakfast), the beds were super comfy, and the morning person who checked me out was much more pleasant and better informed.

We stay here a lot. Perfectly convenient hotel, tucked away, but close to everything. Walkable restaurants, attentive staff, pet friendly. Pool is nice, hot tub is super, best to get in the pool during the week if you want it to yourself. If you stay an extended time, you may get a little tired of the breakfast, but they do try to mix it up. Would be great to get biscuits and gravy once in a while. Housekeeping is top notch. Thanks to this hotel making it a home away from home.
