We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Konak. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the location was excellent. Breakfast was good and the afternoon Turkish tea with baked goods was a wonderful touch to the ambience of our stay. It was an authentic experience and we enjoyed the hammock and the fruit trees in the garden. The staff were very friendly and always had a smile for us. Thank you for a wonderful authentic experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this family-owned hotel. The staff were excellent, friendly, and attentive, making us feel very welcome. The service was outstanding and everything was well taken care of. The only minor issue was finding the hotel, as the street is narrow and steep, but it was definitely worth it. Thank you Mr Korkut , Ata , Leyla and Ata’s mom. The guy at the front desk was repeatedly patronizing and rude. Clean, but bed stiff and uncomfortable with pillows too fat for sleeping and a sheet that barely covered the bed with no other cover. No cofee maker or kettle, and barely functioning internet. I regret choosing this hotel and do not recommend this place.

Tranquil and relaxing!

The owners couldn’t be more helpful. Very friendly with tea and cake daily at 5pm laid on. The kind and friendly manager was always around checking everything was ok. Receptionists, cooks, cleaners, everyone was so happy and willing to give their best service. The rooms were like separate little apartments. Very cosy and lots of outdoor sheltered seating from the hot sun. It was so peaceful and such a relaxing place to stay within very short distance of town centre and port.

The property is beautiful.
Our room was very clean.

The hotel is walking distnace to the center of Kusadasi.
Please note the street is steep and the hotel doesn't provide parking. The nearest paid parking is about 300 m down the street.
The buffet breakfast was wonderful, including local fare, variety of cheeses, olives and sweets.
The garden of the hotel is lovely.

I loved the Villa Konak Hotel. Everyone was very nice, friendly and professional. Everywhere, rooms and the shared facilities are very clean.
Parking can be difficult, but the staff was very helpful that we had no issues.
Food options for dinner is limited, but the hotel is in walking distance to main attraction area of the town with lots of cafés, restaurants and bars.
Overall, I'd definitely stay there again. Thank you to the Villa Konak staff. Hope to see you again!

Perfect location, perfect stay.

This is an idyllic hidden gem within a 5 minite walk of the centre of Kusadasi.
You walk in and the property just keeps on giving, from the pretty gardens, to the quaint pool area, to the large rooms, everything was clean and tastefully decorated to keep within tradition. The views over the city were amazing too.
The owners and staff were extremely friendly and helpful; going above and beyond to help with anything.
Although there is no private balcony, there are seating areas outside of the rooms and all around the property.
Breakfasts were traditional and plentiful, and everything was home cooked, and very tasty.
I actually don't want to recommend this, but only because I'm selfish and don't want it spoilt!

property is peaceful and cute, and is like an oasis. Breakfast was decent - nothing special other than bunch of uncooked ingredients to assemble and eat (cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes etc). Coming from US, it was a different experience for us to see some thing so basic for breakfast. We were expecting at least decent coffee in Turkey but all the hotels switched to lazy machines where you press and get machine made coffees (cappuccino, latte etc). Parking at this hotel was the worst part of our trip as there is no street parking available and the road in front of it is hilly and narrow for our rather large SUV.

If I visit again, I will definitely be staying here and be recommending to those who visit. Beautiful property, I was nervous when I realized it is on a small street but once I entered it was amazing. The garden, the cats, the rooms, the breakfast was great. Location is close to the beach and Ephesus -- need to drive. Walking distance to all the restaurants and shopping. And the best person ever - Yuskel. He literally very kindly and sweetly shipped my airpods back to Istanbul that I had left in the hotel. I cannot believe the generosity. I am so grateful!

A peaceful retreat from the cares of the world

Going on my first holiday following the unexpected death of my husband, I found the staff friendly, helpful and supportive. I arrived very early for checking and they were able to give me a room. They also provide me with a packed breakfast when I had arranged a tour. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them. They were even able to get me gluten free bread for my breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable and serviced daily. The communal breakfast area had continuous hot and cold drinking water and it was not a problem to get water when you needed it. The staff were happy and the ladies communicated as best they could with guests, which seemed to work. The manager spoke excellent English and had a welcoming persona for all guests. I would recommend Villa Konak as a peaceful quiet place, yet close to town and food outlets. However, you do need to be able to climb steps as the hotel is built on a hillside. The pool looked inviting, but I didn't go in. The sun loungers were comfortable for reading and sunbathing.

Great location within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants but agree with past reviews that the hill back to hotel is steep. Feels like a world away from the busy port but still only a 4 min walk. Amount of space in room fit us perfectly - 2 adults and 1 teen. Good pool. Even had a library near pool! Breakfast was also nice.

Great place to hang out. A couple short blocks from tons of shopping, restaurants, and Mediterranean promenade.

Property has lots of space to chill - couches and chairs, grass, trees and even a small swimming pool area.

Manager super friendly and makes stay enjoyable.

Front desk dude fairly abrupt and breakfast lady too busy eating her breakfast and socializing with maids to cook some eggs.

Luckily the manager proactively intervened to ensure check in went smooth and eggs got cooked!!

Recommend the hotel.

This is a hidden gem near the Kusadasi water front. Primary objective was to stay near walking distance of public transport. Yes I had hard time pulling my luggage on the last 20 meters to reach this place but it was all worth the climb. Very quite and tranquil. That’s not an issue if you reach by taxi or car. The room, the garden is plane simple and beautiful. Host was gracious to show around the variety of plants and flowers. Breakfast is great too! I plan to come back here sometime.

Cute and homey if that’s what you like.

This hotel was cute. It felt like staying in someone’s house if you like that feel. You can hear the people staying next to you very clearly. It’s not a modern place - it is more of a homey place. This hotel seems suitable for an older crowd. Parking is free but it’s just first come first serve on the narrow streets around hotel. The wifi is “free” but it doesn’t work and when I asked the owner about it she handled it very poorly. We liked the hotel but the owner was abrupt and unfriendly.

I can't say enough about this hotel. The owners, management and staff are the best in hospitality. They all go above and beyond to make sure you have the best experience. Everyone is very friendly and warm. You are among family at Villa Konak.
The hotel is perfectly situated. The center is very close and the beaches are within walking distance. After a busy day you return to your beautiful and peaceful home away from home.
Tea time is a must. Everyday between 5:00 -6:00 pm you are treated to Turkish tea and delicious home baked treats. Its the perfect time to meat the staff and other guests. We made many friends.
Thank you to our dear friends at Villa Konak. We had the most wonderful experince. We will definitely be back!

\"An oasis of calm\" in a busy town

Fabulous little hotel just up the hill from all the bustle of the tourist shopping area just 5 mins away and 10
mins from the waterside. Staff are brilliant and helpful when you want them. Hotel grounds has areas to sunbathe other than the pool and chill out places to escape the sun. Breakfast and afternoon tea were really welcome, tasty and a great way to meet the other guests. The rooms are decorated in a traditional Turkish style, have everything you need Inc slippers and bathrobe! This is a hotel that is more than the sum of its parts. It's a little gem

A gem of a hotel!

A wonderful, small, well run, family hotel. A gem and by far one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in due to the friendliness of the staff and owners. I can't praise this hotel enough. Excellent value for money. The hotel is similar to a secret garden , hidden away in the centre of kusadasi. 5 mins walk to the centr of town but far enough away to appreciate the tranquility. Formerly a private home, now a beautiful family-run hotel, with thoughtful staff. There are many books (in several languages) to enjoy. Afternoon tea and cookies are complimentary. We left on an early morning ferry, before breakfast, and were surprised to be given sandwiches and juice to take with us. Highly recommended.

What a \"find\" this small hotel was. Situated just a little way from the town and full of Turkish charm the staff couldn't do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed the complimentary afternoon tea complete with wonderful pastries and all day access to free tea, coffee and ice cold water. We will definitely be going back. Just one slight downside is that the Hotel's location is up a long steep hill.

Amazing staff from check in to check out. Helpful and eager to please. Breakfast was excellent. All day coffee ( cappuccino Americans etc )and water was a great touch. Short walk to main area and 30 min walk to Ladies beach area. Pool area to relax and afternoon tea with homemade baking at 5 was very welcome. Would recommend travelled with my 78 year old mother and daughter. Family room was perfect!

Homely Friendly Hotel

The hotel had the look of a private home with the owners themselves welcoming you. I'm really grateful to Kaya for getting us picked up from Izmir Airport and suggesting that for 25 Euro extra we see Ephesus on way to Villa Konak. This saved us one full day and may be 150 Euro that we would have otherwise spent for a separate full day trip to Ephesus. The evening tea with free cookies on the house was really welcome. This also gave us the opportunity to meet other guests in an informal setting. On the plus side, we had 24-hour self-service of tea, coffee and bottled water, free of cost. On the negative side, the location ensured that no tour company could pick us from the hotel and we had to trudge down to the main road to catch any tour. This would, however, take about five minutes. Breakfast was a problem as it started only after 8 am when most tours would start around 0815 hrs. At our request, the staff tried to serve us by 0745 but couldn't! There were also no toiletries (except liquid soap) in the bathroom. The shower area was quite cramped.

Excellent hotel, but don't even try to drive there. Hotel is a raw diamond! But driving there is impossible - streets too small & narrow. Only locals know which streets are one way, GPS doesn't. Park away and walk to hotel. Ones you get there is peaceful, beautiful courtyards, quiet. Good breakfast, friendly staff, good quality comfortable room.

Overall, it was a great value for a nice, clean, comfortable, and friendly hotel. It was close to the bazaar and harbor but not too close as to be crowded and noisy. My only complaint would be the slow internet. As a frequent traveler, I take comfort in being able to skype with my wife and communicate and work via the internet. During my stay, the signal was low in my room and had to sit outside in the courtyard to get a better signal which still wasn't the best.

Great location - only a few minutes' walk from the town centre, but still quiet at night. Rooms clean and everything working - good A/C. Pool fairly small, but not crowded. Various areas with backgammon/table tennis/billiards, so easy to find a peaceful spot to relax. Tea and cookies served every afternoon, and omelettes for breakfast - great food! Would gladly stay here again if I'm ever back in Kusadasi.

Its an apartment like hotel. I stayed in a two beds room with one shower and a small living room with kitchen. no elevator inside so need to carry luggage to 3rd flood. nice people and nice service, i like all the people there. they help me to find a nice beach call Ada. very helpful information. nice breakfast with nice coffee. only concern is no window in the bathroom, and the shower is not hot enough and very small. Good for long stay in this nice area.

This hotel is situated down a sketchy narrow lane that opens up into a gorgeous villa once you cross the threshold. There are fruit trees and beautiful plants - it really is a nice atmosphere. It's quiet and enjoyable. Down side would have to be the water: you can't drink the water there; they give you complimentary water but neglect to tell you that it is only for the first night. We were stuck late the second night and had to find water to brush our teeth. Other than that - it was great!

Be warned - if you are driving into Kusadasi, this hotel is very hard to find. We ended up leaving the car and walking to the hotel where a staff member returned to the car with us and help us navigate the one-way and closed streets to find it.

The hotel is located just off of the main tourist strip & shopping district and the street it is on looks a little bit uninviting. And then you enter the court-yard of this gorgeous oasis with a pool and outside seating areas surrounded by trees and flowers. The breakfasts are delicious, they have an amazing tea each afternoon with homemade biscuits and the owner has incredible recommendations for local restaurants.

Great layout and space

We only spent 1 night here. The hotel has great amenities and a courtyard space. Our room looked over the pool and breakfast area. Conveniently located next to central downtown , waterfront, shopping, and restaurants. The hotel is quiet, but the streets outside are bustling. Our only downside was that they gave us 2 twin beds (we were on our honeymoon), so make sure to request a double bed if desired. Also, its a little hard to find when navigating yourself (but that's a given for most centrally located hotels). If your main destination is Ephesus, and you aren't looking for a touristy area, you may want something in Selcuk. Otherwise, its a beautiful hotel, great for family, and we recommend it to a wide range of visitors.

Great location, staff, and facilities

We had a fantastic stay at the Villa Konak. The property is beautiful, clean, and spacious. The staff was all that we could ask for (especially the owner, who helped us with recommendations, gave us some free wine, and was overall very friendly). The room was big and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the afternoon tea and cookies was a pleasant surprise. The pool was clean and never very crowded. The location of the hotel was definitely a plus. It's just uphill from a busy strip of shops and bars that lead down to the center of town. Overall, the Villa Konak was the best value hotel that we stayed at during our whole trip to Turkey. I highly recommend it!

An outstanding hotel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this small family-run hotel, which is in a traditional style with courtyard gardens and beautifully decorated rooms. The breakfasts were superb with a wonderful variety of Turkish-style food, and the setting, by the swimming pool, was perfect. I often had the swimming pool to myself (I suppose in mid-September the season was coming to a close but the weather was still hot and sunny) and though small, it was ideal for a leisurely dip! A definite bonus was the tea and cake served at 5 p.m. each day - we certainly hadn't expected that! It was my birthday during our stay and I had a lovely surprise (arranged by my husband) whereby i was presented with a cake (with candle) and a bottle of wine! The hotel owner and his wife were charming, as were all the staff, and were in attendance most days, which made it feel friendly and personal. All in all it is a delightful place and we would certainly love to go back.

Great considering the cost

This hotel is a hidden gem! When we booked this hotel, we did not know what to expect but everything turned out great. The hotel is very clean and the courtyard and the poolside was very beutiful. It's one of my favorite in this trip. The room was clean and I think the owner has a good taste on decorating the rooms and the yard. The stuffs were nice and they had tea time late afternoon. If I could visit Kushadasi again, I will definitely go back to this hotel. It's close to the city center but the only drawback can be the road from the city center to the hotel was very steep. But it's close and you cannot avoid slopes in this place anyway. Considering the cost of this hotel, you won't dissapoint!

The hotel is on a small street so it is quiet. It is very close to shops and restaurants and to busses that go out to Ephesus. The staff are very friendly and helpful; they provided good suggestions for dinner and for transportation. The afternoon tea was a great way to meet other guests. The pool felt great after a hot day at Ephesus. The room was very comfortable and easily accommodated my husband and me as well as our daughter.

Villa Konak Otel’de konaklamamız harikaydı. Daha ilk andan itibaren karşılama çok samimiydi. Özellikle çalışanlardan Almira Hanım ve Ceylan Hanım’ın ilgisi ve misafirperverliği gerçekten takdire şayandı.

Otelin her yeri tertemizdi. Kaldığımız *IRiS adlı oda* oldukça geniş, ferah ve hijyenikti. Villa Konak’ta adeta bir *aile ortamı* var; misafirler, sanki evlerine gelmiş gibi sıcak bir şekilde karşılanıyor. Otelin sahibi Korkut Bey her an otelin içinde, misafirlerle yakından ilgileniyor ve bu da kendinizi özel hissettiriyor.

*Kahvaltılar mükemmel*. Her gün sunulan ev yapımı yoğurt gibi ikramlar fark yaratıyor. Ayrıca içecek sistemi çok hoşumuza gitti: Aldığınız her içeceği bir listeye kendiniz işaretliyorsunuz ve çıkışta topluca ödeme yapıyorsunuz. *Müşteriye duyulan güven* bu oteli gerçekten özel kılıyor.

Konumu da çok merkezi. Çarşı, liman ve barlar sokağına yürüme mesafesinde.
