Holidan inn is expected to be better

The hotel can be better. The AC is having a problem in many rooms, my room was could my 1st night, i got sick and needed medical care.
I changed my room but the problem was still there, then they brought a heater for me later.
The staff are very welcoming and nice.
The breakfast wasn't good, no coffe machine only filtered coffee, and very less variety of food. Vegetable and fruit quality is bad, for holiday inn we shouldn't find this kind of issues.
The wood fourniture is very old in the room, and the AC sound is bothering, a very old AC controler
Other than that, the rest is good

This hotel located in city center, around 35 min from TBS airport. Easy access to Pekini markets and all major public transports.
Pool and gym are very practical. Pool is always busy in pool season.
Breakfast serves in lobby restaurant; buffet with great varieties of foods.
Executive rooms are larger than normal ones and pool view rooms maybe more quite than street/city view ones. Though overall you may still hear street noise regardless.
Friendly staff and responsive.
Highly recommend to have breakfast included in your reservation.

It is well placed in the downtown part of the city. That helps to reach out to places of interest, including shopping locations. There is inconvenience by way of too heavy traffic around, and many places are not having zebra crossings, underground or overbridges. Otherwise good place to stay

Could have been better, bad service

2nd time staying in this hotel. Problem is always in the 2nd floor bar / lounge area. During both stays, I will get a beer and want a meal. I order a beer and the lady waitress will disappear. So after 45 minutes of beer sitting empty and not a single time getting asked if I need anything else or a meal, I go to the bar. I was going to ask if I could get another beer and a meal, without me saying a word, the lady prints my bill. Seriously? Is the intent to push people out of bar? So the only way is to go to my room and order room service to get another beer and the amazing club sandwitch. Young lady with several tattoos not only took my order, gave me a timeline of delivery, was super sweet and always smiling when she delivered my food and drink to my room. After meal even called my room to see how meal was and instructed me to put tray in hallway way when complete.

A complicated stay. In the end, they fixed everything that was a challenge (complete with a misleading reservation at hotels.com that they at first refused to honor but then did). In the end, the manager saved the day and made everything right. When the service is good, it is above and beyond. When it isn't, it really isn't. Mostly superficial complaints, but that is what staying at a hotel like this is supposed to prevent. In the end, it's good. But it's not always without hiccups.

Nice hotel, not great communication

Arrived just after 2pm, which on the bookong confirmation was check in time, to be told that check in was at 3. We went out for lunch and came back at 1530 to be told the room wasnt ready. We were offered a free soft drink and we cpuld sit by the pool. Two hours later after two requests for the room we were finally given the keys. Huge breakdown in communication of room status and meant we had to rush once in the room to get ready to meet pur schedule.

My first week in Tbilisi

You can split the hotel into several categories
First dining room. Simply excellent. pool. The welcoming reception and the wonderful waiters and waitresses who run to serve you.
Add to this the superb food and it’s presentation.
The room very clean with a lovely vue but the mattress is a bit old and not terribly comfortable.
The reception is the week point.
Asking for taxis, the response was excellent
Other than that I got negative and unpleasant reaction. Very suspicious, rarely smiling and not really paying attention to the client.
Still lovely hotel with a wonderful swimming pool.

Service was not that good, as they gave me 2 beds room although my reservation for king bed room. It took them a while to change it. In addition after cleaning room they forgot to provide towels, although I call after that, and waiting for about 40 minutes, I had to go to reception to report that till they brought towels!

The moment my wife and I arrived to the hotel we felt very welcomed with great staff smiling and want to help to make our stay comfy and Inwould like to specific Buba the receptionist who helped in many requests during our stay.

The hotel is located in a very nice area where you can find several restaurants and shopping stores within very short distances.

The room wasnt the biggest but it was comfy and cozy. Bathroom is super clean, bed is comfortable too. We asked for different kind of pillows and we were offered up to 8 different pillow types to choose from which was very impressive.

Also it was my wife's birthday so the hotel did send us free cake to the room which was so considerate and made iur stay even more special.
Water bottles were surprisingly FREE which is great !

Breakfast is delicious with many varieties and Omlette station. Staff as usual were super nice and smiling the whole time. Also the service was top notch.

The pool was super clean and the water was amazing and warm. There was also a bar/grill next to the pool where you can order anything while swimming.

I asked for a late checkout since our flight was at 7pm and we had to leave at 4:30pm to the airport, they did give us a late checkout at 4:30pm which was amazing and this made this trip perfect in all aspects.

As a result I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Tbilisi. Thank you!

The Holiday Inn Tbilisi is my favorite hotel in the city, great service and friendly staff. The value for the money is great here, the Holiday Inn is a solid 4-star hotel but priced at what you'd pay for a 3-star and the free WiFi (no goofy registration, its open) and breakfast buffet is really great too. If you want a hassle-free stay at a great price, I really recommend you give the Holiday Inn a try.

Very Comfortable Hotel for Business Trip

Hotel staff were great always friendly, helpful and made me feel welcome and valued - free upgrade too! Although the hotel probably isn't in the best area for walking around the hotel and services provided ( great gym and restaurant) were great and I would definitely recommend and will be back next time I'm in the area. Room was great with amazing bathroom. I would use hotel shuttle for trips to and from airport (book beforehand- 59 GEL) unless you have local currency and fix a taxi price before you get in the taxi.

The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful and makes you feel like a valued customer. The rooms are clean and each day you receive two bottles of water. Although there is no dresser to put your clothes, we were provided extra hangers so we could hang all our clothes, which, to me, was better. There was no ice machine like you experience in the USA, but with a call to the front desk, they promptly would bring you a bucket of ice. The gym is fabulous with lots of different exercise equipment. When we return to Tbilisi, we will stay here again!

I have to admit I was skeptical about staying at the Holiday Inn in Tbilisi because many of the HI hotels in US are not really great. I normally stay at the Radisson Blu in Tbilisi but decided to try the Holiday Inn. The hotel quality and comfort was actually par with the Radisson Blu and the hotel staff at the Holiday Inn were really service rockstars, blew the Radisson away. The location of the Radisson is slightly better and they do have a great spa and sky bar but I will definitely be at the Holiday Inn on my next stay in Tbilisi

Good hotel, with excellent ameneties, great location and ever smiling staff! One of the better Holiday Inn Hotels. Stayed for 5 days enjoying the wonderful locales of Georgia and the staff went out of their way with guidance, tour planning and making sure everything required was catered to. I traveled to Tbilisi with a friend for a 5 day vacation. We arrived late and thought a hotel would meet our initial needs. The Holiday Inn was centrally located and we were able to enjoy many of its amenities. We had a wonderful room with a gorgeous view of the city. We utilized room service, the business office, and the pool.
The hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating as we had a need to visit the Azerbaijan embassy during our stay. They worked with us to locate it and to hire a taxi for the trip.

We walked nearby to a local pharmacy to gather some toiletries we'd forgotten to pack. We also were able to stop by the local market to get some beverages and snacks, along at a local fast food restaurant to eat in our room.

The pool was clean and the area was spacious with many options for tanning or taking a seat (covered or uncovered) right by the pool itself. It was a beautiful day and enjoyed the relaxation and sunshine by the pool.

beyond my expectations

we were staying for four days during our honeymoon, the staff made it very special by decorating very pleasant and helped us with our very request, 5 star hotel with 5 star service in my mind...not sure why it is listed as a 4 star. One comment about the men who may be working as security in the lobby, not sure of their responsibilities, however, they stand their without one smile and long stares to entering guests, makes it a little cold and not very friendly...other than this, EXCELLENT staff and hotel! A special thanks to Tina from reservations, extremely helpful and very pleasant who helped make our stay a very memorable one!!

Lovely hotel for business and pleasure alike. Amazing view from the 18th floor, try to get city view although the other side is not bad either. The hotel is in the middle of a very busy road, but perfect isolation makes the rooms very quiet. My room was near the elevators and unfortunately I could hear them bing day and night whenever someone summoned one of the three lifts. The rooms are spacious and room service is great. You get bottled water and a nice selection if tea in your room. The hotel is a little removed from the old town and you can't walk anywhere from there due to the traffic but taxis are so cheap anyway. The restaurant offers a great breakfast and dinner is decent too, only not a great choice of local dishes if that's what you're hoping for. Great stay in a lovely city.
