Cute little hideaway!

A very quaint Hotel right in the seaside. I was able to walk right up and touch the water. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast items are limited, but the food was good! We definitely enjoyed our stay. One note...if you want to eat lunch or dinner at the restaurant, you need to put in reservations with the front desk.

Disappointing. Very small room even by European standards. Mold on ventilation duct and on shower floor. Only one AC outlet in bedroom under desk. Parking is terrible as the adjoins restaurant shares the same lot. The only rooms that really have a sea view are two suites despite the room description. On the positive side the staff is very nice and the restaurant serves good food.

Beautiful locstion, not so beautiful experience

Aesthetically and location wise tbis hotel is perfect. However, our experience was not so much. Our top two reasons for choosing this hotel was air conditioning (I have a medical condition) and parking (we were driving).

When we arrived there was nowhere to park and the staff on duty \"helpfully\" told us to find street parking. It was also very hot in our room, but the staff assured us it was Bc the ac had not been on all day and it would cool down quickly.
We spent a terrible night in the heat (at least 85 degrees in the room), and in the morning it was confirmed the ac was broken in the complex.

We were assured it would be fixed that day, but when we returned to the room later that day it was still at least 85. The gentleman on duty then proceeded to argue with my husband that it wasn't as hot as we said in the room, told us we couldn't expect \"American cold\", seemed more concerned that we tried to stand on a chair to see if any cold air was coming out (not for our safety but for the chair). Our second night was spent similarly not asleep in the heat (we could not move hotels Bc there was a summit in the city and rooms were booked up).

Upon check out we were offered no compensation of any kind.

We understand things happen that are beyond anyone's control: the AC will break, parking lots will be full, but it was the dismissive and combative attitude of most of the staff (one of the ladies on duty was actually very nice), that is leading me to write such a negative review.

sleepless nights at Merli Beach

Unfortunately the air/con did not work the 3 days we were there with temperatures in the mid 30s.
Sleeping was very difficult and the hotel failed to m keep us informed as to the progress with repairs.
On departure the hotel did not offer any discount so we asked for a reduction on the final bill but were told this was not possible.

Nice relaxing hotel on the Adriatic

Our plane landed in Venice and we needed a relaxing hotel on the water after our long journey. The Tre Merli Beach hotel was the perfect location for us. It was a nice, clean, modern hotel, nicely decorated, with cafes within walking distance. The hotel had a great outdoor restaurant in the evening for dinner with a romantic setting of the Adriatic. it was also a good starting point the next day for the start of our journey to Bled Slovenia.

overall a good hotel

Small but nice hotel out of town, on the coast road, directly facing the sea, so the location can be either good or bad, depending on what you expect, rooms are modern, clean but small, I didn't try the restaurant this time, but during a previous stay I found it good, reception closes during the night

great and small hotel next to the sea!!:))

very friendly and helpfull stuff, we've visited the hotel for one night on the way to croatia..the room was very modern and bright - just a few steps from the sea for a short swim, just great!!

if there is something to say about the service - negativ - then it was the breakfast in the morning, that wasn't very enthousiastic made...

many thanks from switzerland for the super stay in triest! we would come again!!!

Leider zu wenige Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. Atmosphäre mehr wie ein Strandhaus statt Hotel (hat uns gefallen). Kleines Zimmer gut aufgeteilt. Kein Fenster im Bad zum öffnen. Sehr freundliches Personal. Frühstück gut und auf Nachfrage flexibel. Toller Ort um kurz vor Triest-City zu entspannen und zu Baden.

Séjour convenable pour une étape italienne. On n’y passerai pas une semaine. Le restaurant situé a coté est très bien mais assez cher. La chambre était parfaite mais les terrasses sont très proches les unes des autres. Le petit déjeuner parfait

Schönes Hotel, aber unfreundliches Personal

Das Hotel an sich war sehr schön, Zimmer relativ sauber, Meer vor der Nase, jedoch ohne wirklichen Badezugang, nur mit kleinem Boot-Anlege Platz. Das zugehörige Restaurant war überfüllt, das Essen und Getränke überteuert und den Preis nicht wert. Das Personal war sehr distanziert und unfreundlich, man wird, wenn man nicht augenschleinlich als sehr wohlhabend durchgeht, sehr abschätzig behandelt. Mussten lange warten. Alles in allem, durchschnittliches Hotel, aber man fühlt sich nicht wirklich willkommen.

Coolt hotell med stor solterrass invid havet

Vi skulle besöka Trieste och ville ha ett hotell lite utanför centrum. Hotellet har en väldigt \"cool\" stil med en egen solterrass alldeles invid havet. Rummet var trevligt och fräscht möblerat. Vi kan dock inte rekommendera den tillhörande restaurangen, då maten inte var prisvärd och servicen dålig, eller så hade personalen bara en dålig dag.

Hotel vista mare dal design originale

Struttura curata nei minimi dettagli, arredata con gusto e con tutti i confort. Vista mare spettacolare dalla camera e piacevole il salottino sulla veranda antistante la camera. Unica pecca la scarsa disponibilità dei posti auto all'interno del parcheggio che viene utilizzato anche dagli avventori del ristorante.

Bezahlt € 170für ein 3 Sterne Hotel. Ankunft um 18h musste um 11h am nächsten Tag das Zimmer verlassen
und durfte auf Anfrage den Strandbereich (Terrasse)am nächsten Tag nur 2 Stunden benutzen.Ein Witz.Urlaubstag am Meer war im Eimer.Musste an einen Öffentlicen Strand ausweichen.

Nettes, kleines Hotel am Meer

Wir waren auf unserer Durchreise 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Es liegt gut, um Italien, Slowenien und Kroatien zu erkunden. Das Personal war sehr nett, das Restaurant abends sehr empfehlenswert und lecker, morgens Standardfrühstück, ein bisschen einfallslos. Die Zimmer sauber und okay, nur ein wenig zu eng und wenig Platz, um etwas abzulegen/aufzuhängen, außerhalb vom Schrank. Der Zugang zum Wasser ist sehr gefährlich und schmierig/glatt. Der Weg hinein (Holz sowie Steine) ist sehr rutschig. Kein Hinweis oder Warnung, mehrere Gäste fielen und taten sich sehr weh.

Hübsches Hotel direkt am Meer.

Super Hotel. Schöne Umgebung. Gerne Wieder. Man hat genug Liegen um am Meer zu liegen. Absolut kein Stress dort vorhanden. Die Menschen dorten sind sehr freundlich und habe die Ruhe weg. Ein idealler Ort zum Entspannen und zum Abschalten.

Excellent hotel for couples and for those who want a \"resort\" feeling. Loved the direct beach access, the sun shades, the room terrace, the very elegent decor.
One small minus from our side: the breakfast could be more varied with some fresh fruits and vegetables.

zu empfehlen, da Stadtnah und trotzdem ruhig gelegen.Super war auch das nebenan liegende

Unser Lieblingshotel in Triest

Das Hotel überrascht mit einer sehr schönen Lage direkt am Meer. In nächster Nähe: Barcola, der beliebte Badeort der Triestiner sowie Schloß Miramare, gleich über die wunderschöne Küstenstrasse zu erreichen. Gleich 50 Meter vom Hotel entfernt liegt eine Haltestelle, von der man ohne Probleme mehrmals in der Stunde mit dem Bus nach Miramare oder nach Triest kommt. Sehr aufmerksames hilfreiches Personal, netter Empfang, Zimmer sehr sauber, klimatisiert und ausreichend groß für italienische Verhältnisse. Frühstück im benachbarten Restaurant ist wirklich reichhaltig und sehr gut. Parkplatz ist direkt beim Hotel und war immer vorhanden. Das dazugehörende Restaurant Tre Merli ist schlichtweg eines der besten Restaurants der Gegend. Wir hatten einige Restaurants der Gegend besucht und sind immer zum Tre Merli zurückgekommen! Fischliebhaber kommen ganz besonders auf ihre Kosten! Auch hier macht das Personal und die Qualität der Küche den besonderen Reiz aus. Man wird schnell bedient, gerne wird auf Sonderwünsche reagiert, der Chef immer umtriebig und bemüht, findet auch Plätze für Gäste, die nicht reserviert hatten. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant und im Hotel, sowie die reizvolle Umgebung könnte schöner nicht sein!!! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Grazie Tre Merli Team!!!

Una giornata a Trieste

Bel posticino alle porte di Trieste. Le camere sono arredate con gusto e dotate di confort. La nostra che dava sulla strada risentiva però del rumore del traffico. C'è una bella terrazza sul mare con lettini a disposizione. Personale gentile e disponibile.

Ho soggiornato una sera in questo hotel.. è piccolo ha poche stanze.. ha un piccolo terrazzo vista al mare.. dove si riesce a vedere il castello di Miramare.. il personale disponibile e amabile. .lo consiglio per le coppie; che vogliono passare una serata romantica..

POSTO INCANTEVOLE CON SERVIZIO ECCELLENTE !

NON E' LA PRIMA volta che soggiorno presso i 3 merli , ricevendo sempre un'ottima accoglienza , camere pulitissime , servizio impeccavile , ristorante all'altezza dei migliori di trieste ; ho la possbilita' di portare il mio cocker e di poter parcheggiare comodamente l'auto , durante la Barcolana pare essere in tribuna allo stadio !
