Two nights base while in the area. Hotel felt a little tired and needs update. Starting point would be USB connection in the rooms and TV that allows you to scroll channels rather than input individual channel numbers.
Smoking at the entrance to the hotel seems to be the norm and whilst I’m not against smoking at all, the fact you need to walk through this to enter the hotel is not good.

I booked this hotel at the last minute due to a travel glitch. Their staff did not speak any English but a very nice gentlemen checking in at the same I was helped me get through the registration process. The staff was good, the facility very clean and air conditioned during the heat wave. This hotel is right on a great bike path and a river. Enjoy!

Personnel débordé, dépassé par une affluence record (2 bus) je n'ai pas diner alors que j'étais en demi pension...j'ai payé pour rien ! 7H30 toutes les tables prises ou presque, je reviens vers 20H45 même constat et le personnel passe devant moi sans action : je suis transparent ! au bout de 10 mn de ce jeu insupportable je remonte dans ma chambre ce qui n'émeut personne. Il préférable de passer en direct avec l’hôtel pour votre réservation et de ne pas passer par le site Hotel.com au moins le jour où vous avez un problème. L’hôtel en direct sera à même de vous arranger contrairement à Hotel.com qui vous laisseront sans réponse.

Location is on the very border of Le Pouzin, so if you want to visít any sights you should go by car. Normal ibis and budget ibis is located in the same building. You may think that normal is better, but actually budget rooms has a view to the river. Staff is not speaking english, nor understanding it. Menu is in French, not easy to choose breakfast, If you don't speak french. Anyhow, they are nice people and the parking lot is great. Tv is small and you can get only french programmes. Wifi is almost ok.

Pour la chambre, à part qu'elle était au rdc avec sdb PMC type cabine douche plastique, ça allait. Concernant le personnel, pour certains, il ne rendait pas une image positive et professionnelle. Notamment une personne qui a eu du mal à faire preuve de service client et de discrétion quand son humeur, un soir, s'est révélée massacrante, et même grossière contre lui-même ou des collegues, en pleine salle du restaurant... D'autres membres du personnel ont été tout à fait courtois. Un gros point noir : la piètre qualité de la... bouffe ? J'ai très souvent l'occasion de manger au resto le soir, mais là, vraiment, ce n'était pas toujours bon ! J'en ai laissé dans mes assiettes...

Hotel liegt wunderbar in der Nähe der Autobahn. Man kann an der Rhone spazieren gehen, wenn man möchte.
Das Zimmer selbst ist in Ordnung, jedoch das Bad sehr klein und als Kabine im Zimmer eingefügt. Die Toilettenbenutzung sollte man eher sparsam handhaben: Toilettenpapier stand kaum zur Verfügung und es fehlt eine Toilettenbürste. Da ich mehrfach in IBIS Hotels in Frankreich übernachtet habe, muss ich feststellen, dass dies mittlerweile ein (Nicht-)Standard bei IBIS zu sein scheint.
Das Personal selbst ist sehr bemüht und freundlich, war aber das ganze Wochenende jeweils nur zu zweit und musste von Empfang, Restaurant und Frühstück alles alleine machen, obwohl bestimmt mit dem benachbarten Ibis-Budget bis zu 30 Gäste bedient werden musste.

Le matelas est très ferme et de bonnes dimensions (160 x 200 cm).

Gutes Hotel für die Durchreise
Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Rhone und in der Nähe der Autobahn Richtung Mittelmeer. Daher ist es ideal für einen Zwischenstopp. Wir waren mit Hund dort für eine Nacht. Man kann gut am Flußufer spazieren gehen oder auch Radfahren.
Das Hotel ist sauber, der Restaurantbereich liegt im Lobbybereich und bietet eine Abendkarte für Speisen mit Fleisch und Fisch. Zusätzlich gibt es jedoch ein Angebot von Pizzas, die man auch mit auf das Zimmer nehmen kann. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung. Einzelne Dinge (Baguette, Besteck) mussten wir jedoch ansprechen, damit es nachgefüllt wird.
Das Bad (Dusche, Waschbecken) im Zimmer entspricht mehr einer kleinen, eingesetzten Kabine, war aber recht neu und sauber.

Jeg er aldrig før blevet fornærmet af en tjener i Frankrig. I 17 år. Førend på dette hotel af en ung kvinde i hullet jeans. Hun gjorde højlydt nar af mig overfor de andre gæster da jeg misforstod menukortet. Og virkede i det hele taget som om hun synes vi var til stor besvær. Generelt var servicen under middagen ringe og meget stresset. Og ikke kun for os, kunne vi høre og se. Da vi fik maden, som var bestilt uden ost, prøvede hun at bilde mig ind at parmesanosten som var høvlet ud over det hele, bare var til pynt. Vi fik ikke frisk mad men en burger hvor osten var forsøgt skrabet af. Det er første gang vi ikke har lagt drikkepenge efter et måltid. Morgenbuffeten var også stresset, og vi blev tilbudt spiseskeer til at spise blødkogt æg med, da den søde morgendame åbenbart ikke kunne nå at vaske op. Generelt kan man sige at der var for lidt/erfaren personale. Ellers var hotel lækkert. Super senge.
