As usual, the room was perfect (except the door lock battery died…but the staff came and charged it immediately for us). A bit disappointed with check in staff and the parking was completely full without recommendations for any other close by options. Had to park on the street and got very lucky for a close to hotel street spot … otherwise, streets were full of cars and no other spots. Recommendations for other garages might be helpful in future.

There was no parking available. Had to park a few blocks away on the street. Was given the wrong room twice, and still didn’t get the room I paid for due to “an error in the system that didn’t show divided rooms”. Settled for a lesser room because I didn’t feel like changing after moving rooms twice. Front desk clerk was very nonchalant upon check in and when I told her I was given the wrong room. Another employee had to attempt to correct her mistakes.

Listing says they have parking. It is public parking lot, so if it’s full, you have to find street parking and then walk to the hotel. And we are here in the winter, so the street and walkways are poorly shoveled so spots were limited. We have to carry everything blocks away which was annoying. It was only free breakfast for 1 of the 2 of us. That wasn’t what we booked, but it is what it is. The buffet food was…not ideal and limited options for the price.
The room was clean and nice at least.
I thought Sheraton hotels were on the higher end of the chains, but I wouldn’t go back.

I havent checked out yet but the check in was very smooth and very fast. Particularly appreciated asthis is a fast and short visit for me (they wouldnt have known) so that was extra helpful. My room was very clean and neat. Smeeled clean without overwhelming sanitizing smell. Comfortable and adequate for my needs this time around. Price was very reasonable as well. Thank you so much!

Granted we were there on New Year's Eve, but the hotel seemed to have very limited staff. Staff was not responsive and/or not available when needed. Breakfast buffet was empty when we arrived and only limited options re-supplied. Again, the limited staff contributed to guests not knowing the breakfast procedures and slow service. The room was adequate, but not really comfortable.

The parking is expensive, but that’s to be somewhat expected. We were in a suite and it was extremely small. It is the same size as a normal room, but split into two rooms. You have enough room to walk around the bed and that’s it. Also, a suite is for up to five people, but there is a king sized bed and a pull out sofa. There were also four total pillows in the room and no extra blankets or pillows for the pull out. If you’re in the bed, you have to give away two of your pillows, then what if there’s a fifth person? I requested more pillows and blankets and the front desk told me they were only allowed to give me two extra pillows and one blanket. I think this is strange. What am I going to do with extra pillows and blankets from the Sheraton in Alexandria. To me, a good hotel with great service asks you how many extra pillows and blankets you need, especially when they really aren’t extra and they’re for people in the room. So, one of my sons slept on the sofa cushions on the floor with no pillow and thank goodness he had his own blankets. My two other sons, 20 and 17, had to share a regular size blanket, not big enough to really share. The breakfast sandwich my husband got me from the restaurant was awesome—loved that. All in all it was a good visit and I think we would stay again, but I do think the need to ask for an exception to the pillow and blanket rule is a bit ridiculous.

Rooms were clean, had a safe, mini fridge, but no microwave. Hotel provides a shuttle every hour, on the hour, but it starts running at 7 am. Dinning at the hotel was great, food was delicious. Staff were friendly and polite.

The property was beautiful and in a great location to walk to eat, groceries, the water, just wonderful. The gym was amazing and well equipped. The rooms were very clean and nice. I was there on business, for a seminar. The parking was good, but the extra fees seem excessive for parking and I’m not sure what a destination fee is but I was charged one for each day I was there. Ended up with a $200 bill for parking and destination fees for three days!!! A little excessive!

This was a really nice hotel. Our only issue was the restaurant. They had ONE single person managing the bar (evening) or to-go coffee (AM) AND taking restaurant orders and delivering food. I do NOT blame the server at all. They were over-extended. I never got the sausage to go with my pancakes for breakfast, but I didn't want to bother the server because he was so overwhelmed. Pretty soon the hotel is going to make the server cook the food as well!!! Just another example of a business trying to squeeze every penny of profit rather than hiring a couple more people.

Also, please put more hooks and towel bars in bathrooms for hanging stuff.

I enjoyed this property very much. Very clean and neat, excellent gym facilities and nice neighborhood. I felt very safe in the evening when we went for a walk and just an overall nice place. The staff was very kind but I still have to check in about the charges for parking and such, that was an added charge I wasn’t expecting and pretty pricey.

My room smelled of mold. Staff was very, very, very unfriendly. I informed the staff that the elevator was not operating properly. I was told nothing is the matter with it and the next day that particular elevator was shut down.
I had a voucher for breakfast and the person working the buffet angrily wanted to know if I paid for my food. He made me feel like a criminal. I travel for work and have stayed at many hotels. This one I would not recommend. There are many others in the area.

I was just a little bit surprised that with the checkout being at noon that I wasn’t given a $25 food voucher for me to have breakfast on my last day there. I was given a voucher for the afternoon I arrived, and the following two days, but no voucher on my day of checkout maybe that’s normal, but it just seemed odd for me that I got a coupon on the day of check-in, but not on the day of Check out.

At check-in, I was obligated to purchase a $25 voucher that can only be used at the hotel restaurant. I had already eaten dinner and will be departing early, so the voucher is useless. I explained this to the front desk at check in, but they said it was a new policy. I told them that this was not revealed to me at the time I booked the room. They responded that it was because I used Expedia. So, I'm out $25. It's not so much the money, but more about truth in advertising. Please advise.Thanks in advance.

There was only one working eleavator to the room floors. My check-in was not the best. My first room was not what I reserved, then the second room the door wouldn't open due to a dead battery and the front desk clerk expected me to wait while they got someone to fix the issue (not acceptable at all). I let her know that was not acceptable and though she wasn't forthcoming about getting me another room, I let her know I would not accept waiting and I wanted another room. Finally the third room was what I reserved. I also asked for a discount since I was not happy about a check-in that should have been at most 10 minutes that ended up taking more than and close to 40 minutes. I am still waiting on a discount for a future stay. I would definitely choose the hotel again as it is in a great location. There needs to be additional training at the front desk when a customer is having check-in issues. After I finally got checked in up until my departure it was a great time and the children enjoyed themselves as well.

I loved the stay. Rooms were a little small. However the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I was supposed to get a room with a balcony, however, when we arrived. I was told bookings from Expedia were 3 days behind with their system and couldn't give me a room with a balcony. However, the staff member upgraded my room at no extra charge with a balcony as a result of my inconvenience.

This was one of the worst hotel experiences i have had, primarily because the air conditioning in our room was not working and the hotel response was inadequate. The room was warm when we checked in, and did not cool off despite several attempts to adjust the thermostat. When I finally called the second day, I was told the staff knew the air-conditioning wasn't working, but didn't inform us at all. They did not offer to help us change rooms. They promised a fan, which didn't show until I called again.

They said it was \"being worked on,\" but there was no air conditioning during our 3-night stay.

What frustrated me the most was the lack of communication and response. They did not say anything until we called. There was no offer of extra water, ice, more fans, a different room, or anything.
