This hotel is charming and well located right in the historic section. The area has many outdoor restaurants, and a lively little outdoor beer garden right on the river side. The best features of the Hotel were the out door terrace, and patio overlooking the Rhine. It was easy to get to the train station and to visit towns, such as Rheinfelden and Laufenburg.

The hotel is in a lovely location next to the square. The hotel itself is nice. It has been renovated last year due to a fire. The bedrooms are hit and miss as regards size, some are very small but bathrooms are great and loads of very hot water. Breakfast is lovely and fresh, great choice and the staff are lovely and very friendly. Check in and check out very good, no ques. hotel WIFI is poor and needs to be improved as no excuse for poor wifi in 2020.Overall a pleasant stay. BTW in summer this hotel has no air con so it does get very warm.also they dont have Irons in the room.

The did give me a fan which didn't work and went downstairs and they gave me another one. Young lady at the reception was very nice. Breakfast was great. Great location.

Fantastic hotel where I always try to stay when working nearby. My only comment is that it would benefit from Air Conditioning during the warm weather. The staff were as always very friendly and being English this was not a problem with the language.

This hotel is in great location in Middle of town, the beds are comfortable and the room was clean and fresh. If you go by car make sure you ask for a parking permit as this hotel is in the middle of the pedestrian zone but hotel patrons are allowed to drive to the hotel parking. The food in the restaurant was nice but being mid-week the restaurant was fairly quiet. No doubts I will stay there again with no hesitation. As read in other reviews the wifi could be better indeed

Stayed here as a quick stopover. Was a pleasant hotel situated on the Rhein River. Room i stayed in had great view of the St.Fridolins-Münster. Service, location and cleanliness were all great. Furnishing of the room are all modern. Lots of eating options and things to see within walking distance. the only downside I encountered was very poor internet connectivity.

What a lovely town! We stayed here to be close to a customer across the border. Having stayed in Basel the week before this was a huge step up. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful little town. My room had a view of the river.

This hotel is located in the town square of this beautiful little town on the Rhein. There is free parking in front of the hotel, but you have to drive down the pedestrian area to reach it (which confused us and our satnav initially). Plenty of places to eat and drink within 2 mins walk. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The location is perfect and the view from the hotel stunning. The only negative point is that this hotel has no AC (which can be expected when travelling in Germany). I wish there had been a fan in the room. It got pretty warm during the night - and not to mention the insects that came into the room.

Accueil chaleureux, chambre sympathique et très propre avec vue sur le Rhin, buffet bien garni au petit déjeuner et emplacement parfait. J'ai beaucoup apprécié qu'on m'offre un endroit à l'intérieur pour laisser mon vélo plutôt que de le laisser dehors.
Le seul point négatif à mon sens était que le lit était beaucoup trop mou à mon goût, mais c'est une question de goût personnel et j'aime les matelas très fermes.

Das Bett war angenehm und die Matratze war für mich optimal und bin kein Leichtgewicht. Empfang Abends freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Nun das etwas negative was ich empfand.
TV zu klein, Kabelage hing unten raus, WLAN was ist das ? TV kannte nur 2 Kanäle ARD und ZDF, Duschendichtung nicht mehr ganz optimal, Morgens keine Person bei Schlüsselabgabe am Empfang. Frühstücksraum keine Guten Morgen.
Dennoch würde ich wieder dort übernachten.

Very nice hotel that has a gorgeous view of the wooden covered bridge. Location in downtown with many restaurants and shopping possibilities. Only negative critique would be the bed pillows. They gladly gave additional pillows, but these could definitely be improved to a more modern standard. Nonetheless we enjoyed our stay.

If you are unlucky you get the room close to the elevator like me. It is noisy and in the morning the cleaning personnel prepares all their material next to your room door. The bed in my room was really soft so not really confortable.

Keine Info ihrerseits das es dort gebrannt hatte. Schreckliche zustände und Sicherheitsmängel z.B. Brandschutztüren bei denen es nur einseitig einen Griff gab. Etage 2 zu Zimmer 215. Etage 1 zu Zimmer 107 gab es zwei.
Decke im Eingangsbereich ist heruntergefallen 5 min vor unserem Einchecken. Ca. 23.50Uhr zum Glück stand keiner darunter. Duschkabine in unserem ersten Zimmer(215) viel uns entgegen. Betten waren eine Katastrophe man lag auf den Metall Federkernen da man den Popper nicht aufgelegt hat. Dieses Hotel hat nichts mit 4 Sternen zutun und ist bei einheimischen der Stadt wegen derer unverschämten Verhalten und Wucher Preisen bekannt. Enttäuschung pur
Die Hausdame war die netteste Erfahrung im ganzen Haus und sollte die Führung übernehmen, da sie die einzige war die wenigstens versuchte den Schaden auszugleichen.
