We booked a Superior Double room based on the photos. There was nothing superior about it.
It didn’t look anything like the photos & it was located next to the main stairs where people could see straight in, it was dark & had the sound of running water most of the time.
The staff were unhelpful & ignored you when they walked past.
The breakfast was disappointing so we didn’t have it again after the first time.
Lots of great places to eat a short walk away.

Great location, accomodation & spectacular views and sunsets. No dedicated parking, but it is Santorini! We found parking with relative ease tho. A map of the complex would be great with clear directions to reception, which is at nearly the lowest level. (Especially if you’re arriving at night) Would def be back..everything we wanted! Loved it?!

Fabulous accomodation and outstanding view!! Perfect if you want a quiet holiday by the pool, or a good base for driving around the island. Staff were excellent, although service was a little slow.Beware of the many, many steps! There are two lifts to get to the bottom, but still lots of steps between them. Three pools, although I only found two (please make a map of the resort!!) and lots of people wandering up to your balcony as they are lost. The balconies are not private, they are shared by a walkway. But the view is worth it! Breakfast was disappointing. Lots of pastries, only one choice of eggs and the meat/cheese was dry. Not much fruit. The food from the restaurant, ordered through the pool bar, was outstanding, although very pricey as everything is 'deconstructed' and pretentious! €22 for a gyro, fries extra! This is also a wedding/honeymoon venue, so lots of photo shoots happening. If you don't want a pool holiday, you will need a car. There are a few restaurants in the village but nothing much else. This is my 4th visit to Santorini, but I would not stay in this village again. Perissa has beaches, shops and busses. Only stay here if you want a caldera view - it is totally worth it though, especially the sunsets! It was a 30 minute walk to Fira. Stop in To Briki in Firostefani - outstanding food and service, also with caldera views.

Nice and beautiful properties, but it is in between Fira and Oia, a taxi ride to Oia is about 40 euros and Fira is 25, should have stayed in Oia, which is a lot more expensive, but considering the time and money saved to get to places, it should be worthwhile.
Had one issue with the staff, I ordered a lobster roll, but it comes out without any lobster in it, the staff explained to me the shape of bread is called lobster roll, but he is willing to make it up by offering something else, yet a supervisor came along, insist that the order is correct, it's me who don't understand the lobster roll. I did not get the salad for the misunderstanding. So I decide not to eat at the hotel for the next two days, not a happy experience.

Overall decent experience. Friendly staff, stayed in a VIP suite which was quiet and secluded with a large room. Clean facility. However, some things could be improved. The hot tub was warm but not hot enough for our preference. There were some problems with breakfast delivery. One morning they forgot our breakfast and we we missed out on an activity. Sometimes they missed some of our order. Food was okay, fruit bowl was great. Also, you need bottled water on Santorini and they only provided 1 free bottle for our four night stay. For $500/night, you would think they would provide drinkable water.

Amazing views! Right on the edge in the highest city on the caldera. Air conditioning was cold, bathroom was in a cave, and our own furnished balcony to watch the sun every evening.
Excellent breakfast buffet everyday started our days off right, and the restaurant options for dinner were not just convenient, they left us little reason to go out.
Staff was very friendly and eager to please. We enjoyed every hour we spent on property.

Most beautiful views and setting you can get in Santorini. Imerovigli is quiet and small, there was wine tasting 5 mins walk away and can walk to Fira in 20-30 mins. Its not overlooked by pedestrians like in Oia and Fira. Spa is not free though and Expedia doesnt state surcharge, and was also not open. We did have a good time here as we mostly spent an active holiday

Property was good. They didn’t fully clean out our room from the prior person. We had some cans that were on our deck from the prior person. The hot tub wasn’t the warmest. We asked for it to be turned up but I don’t think they turned it up. The restaurant was good. There wasn’t anything open in the area in April so be prepared to walk 30-40 mins to eat.

Amazing hotel for the price.

Best location perfect between Fira and Oia. Less crowded and the shops around it were a little cheaper. Easy to walk to shops nearby. No need to leave for sunset the view from the pool is all you need.
Everything was very clean, staff was excellent. Views are incredible. There are a lot of stairs needed to get around but that didn’t bother us. Would love to come back.

The only problem we had was how much they charge for laundry which was way overpriced. $9 for shirts each, $4 for each pair of socks, and. women’s clothes are much higher. It would be much more reasonable to provide a single charge tor a BAG of laundry. I At another hotel in the islands,1 bag of laundry was $12.00, which is the standard price with other hotels we have stayed at.

This was our third trip to Santorini but the first to Andromeda Villas. The property is \"below the path\" in Imerovigli which means that there are quite a few stairs but that is a small cost given the incredible views.

Our rooms were sufficiently sized that we could leave our suitcases open and had a nice-sized deck overlooking the caldera.

The three pools were delightful and quiet.

The front desk was very helpful for arranging transportation and dinner reservations.

The path to Fira/Oía is easily accessible and we walked to/from each.

We stayed two flights down from the road which made it easy to be near restaurants and two convenient markets / gift shops for necessities. Many good restaurants were within walking distance. We stayed primarily in our little pocket of the island to maximize our downtime, except for one catamaran sunset cruise. Andromeda provides three pools, but only two of the three had clean inviting seating areas. The main pool was perfect and located next to the bar/cafe/restaurant with views of the caldera to die for. There was a quieter pool area but it needs attention. Since it’s tucked away, they must overlook it. Wish buffet breakfast was either included or a little less. Our superior sea view room was just right! Comfortable, clean, a lovey feel. Would book again.

The hotel is stunning. You get the best view of the Caldera on the entire island from this hotel, especially the sunset. I had the best view right outside of my room. There are about 4 or more floors, all with great views and about 4 pools. The breakfast is wonderful - very tasty and lots of options- definitely worth it. Dinner is nice too. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. You honestly don't even need to leave the hotel, because everything is there. They have a nice pool bar as well and they have a spa - I didn't book it so I can't share on that experience. Our rooms were very cozy and comfortable. The rooms are as pictured - clean and modern. The ambiance throughout the hotel is wonderful - the music and the tranquility. The location is perfect - Imerovigli - right between Oia and Fira. Its quiet and peaceful in that area. One of the best restaurants in Santorini is right infront of the hotel - Avocado - the food is so good! There's also another restaurant beside it and I think like a mini mart kind of place. The hotel arranged port pickup and drop-off for us as well as taxis into the cities which was very convenient. They gave us very good recommendations for our trip. They even provided us with a map where they highlighted all of the points of interest. You can also book excursions through the hotel if you'd like. Special thanks to Dimitris, Valantis and Eleni for being super helpful and courteous and for making our hotel experience even better.I'll be back

The lady who was the manager was extremely rude. The hot tub was Luke warm and they would not make it warmer in fact they turned it off completely the last night. Water leaked in our room because of a storm and she blamed it on us.

For our last night in Athens we asked the manager/front desk to make a dinner reservation for us. She said no problem she will take care of it, only to find out she never did after we arrived at the restaurant.

Disappointing considering we booked this hotel for our wedding. This manager should be let go. I do not recommend this place.

Really pleased my husband and I chose to stay at Andromeda Villas. The hotel itself is so beautiful anf looking over the amazing sea view and the caldera is the best thing to wake up to everyday. They have 3 pool areas all of which are clean and staff are so friendly too. As always not every place is perfect the only downside is the breakfast as it's not a big variety ( I personally wouldn't call it American buffet). Also if you are hiring a car like we did its sometimes difficult to find parking off site even though it's free. Better to hire a car to travel around than getting bus and taxi which can be very exoensive. Other than that everything was fabulous.

The views from Andromeda Villas are breathtaking. I really think we had one of the best views on the island. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, they made our stay very pleasant! Our room was pretty small though and a bit musty. It was very clean but since it's built into the cliff, there are only windows at the front of the room so the rooms can get musty. However, they were kept very clean. The three pools were all really nice and you were able to enjoy the most amazing views from them.

I chose to stay at Andromeda Villas in Imerovigli, as I was told it has one of the best sunset views in Santorini. The facilities were great with 3 pools, the pool bar has a wide choice of wines and cocktails and reasonably priced food. The staff in all sections of the hotel were very friendly and helpful.

The setting and the staff were wonderful communal areas fantastic and the room was fine but the bathroom in our room let it down. It felt old you could not stand under the shower over the bath you had to hold the shower head it didn’t reach the bracket on the wall. Simple things to fix but a little DIY in our room anyway would make a big difference. Luckily Santorini is so delightful we were not in the room much. It did however have the most wonderful views and was spacious just really the bathroom let it down. We didn’t complain as the staff were so delightful we didn’t want to upset anyone.

Hotel was able to arrange a taxi to take us into town at short notice. Taxi ride into town and then come back to a quiet uniquely beautiful location.

I love the view of this property, I didn't know that the room is actually facing the ocean. The sunset was amazing from our balcony.

The only thing is because of the view a lot of tourist stopped to take pictures specially the couples who doesn't care that they blocked the view from the other guests.

We Booked VIP Suite but they gave a poor different room.
Terrible service mind with NO RESPECT to the guest.
They sell us a wrong room ON PURPOSE and force to stay poor room. We booked VIP Suite room with private jacuzzi and sea view, but they gave us a room with 3 beds next to hotel storage room(unit 108), which means NO privacy as many staffs have to pass our door & window. BALCONY WAS’T IN THE ROOM, so we had to pass through public path of the hotel. That ‘Private area’ was in the middle of the public area. Very funny, it’s like a tiny public bath. It’s very close to next unit so can even see in the tub.

They did overbook. But they insist there’s no problem because it has same description of private jacuzzi and see view. Only different thing is there are 2 more beds(No needs for a couple like us and just wasting of ceiling space). They said this is more expensive room(of course that’s for 5-6pax) so they don’t have any fault of this situation and said why don’t we just enjoy anyway? without any sorry, apology and compensation.
We ask very gently to change to VIP suite several times saying with above reason, BUT she disregarded us and kept saying \"just enjoy there”, and said VIP suite only tomorrow will be available.
Terrible.
You can choose other tons of hotel with nice view like here.

Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Santorini! The staff was very friendly and always looked out for us, weather it was a freddo cappuccino or a taxi! The rooms were large and open however the bed for a third person was not the best, small and narrow. The property was beautiful with even better views!

This hotel has an amazing view of the sunset, and I guess that is why you come to Santorini, but unfortunately if you are expecting a high standard of service or are expecting to be pampered you will be disappointed, standard rooms are average, our bathroom shower blocked and flooded our apartment like the river nile, although they came to fix it straight away, they were not very apologetic, they seemed to think that was the norm and offered no other solution other than we will mop up all the dirty water with a dirty mop and just go on the way, they didn’t ask if anything was damaged or were even concerned how upset we were regarding the experience, we were getting ready to view the sunset and almost missed it due to having to wait for the problem to be fixed our friends had the spa room and were treated like royalty so I guess if you pay more, your experience is different which is a shame. On the first day I tried to book a spa treatment only to be told there was no availability for that day so I tried for the next day no luck again so I said ok day after once again no luck, 3 days ahead really I guess I only wanted a pedicure maybe they were saving appointments for more expensive treatments, I have stayed at some wonderful hotels that bend over backwards for you, this is not one of them unless you open your wallet up, but if it’s the view only your after and you are not concerned about your experience then this hotel meets that criteria

TEN OUT OF TEN ... LOVE

Totally in love with this property. Everything was first class from check in to check out. Despite the number of stairs and elevators one has to take to get around the property you actually get used to it. The breakfast was good for the price, breakfast staff fantastic. Yes there is an unusual smell in the rooms at check in, but it goes away. Our room had a double bed which I thought we would never be able to sleep in but it turned out fine. We took a walk on the strip between the street level and the hotels and I can honestly tell you that Andromeda villas is definitely one of the best, most certainly will return and highly recommend this hotel..

Offers great view of Caldera from some rooms and the pool but not a good checkin experience. We had to wait for an hour to get our room. Got it at 2:30pm which is after the scheduled checkin time of 2pm. After that they gave us a two level room which was ridiculous. Finally after speaking to them got the right room which even had a better view. They could have given that in first instance but didn't.

We enjoyed our stay at the Andromeda Villas. The town is stunning and well located between Fira and Oia making it central to most sites. Skaras rock is an easy walk and provides stunning views back ion the town and the entire island. The vistas from the room are incredible and the highlight of the hotel. Rooms are clean and well appointed. Staff were largely friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided a nice variety of Greek and international cuisine.

The hotel has a good location if you are interested not to stay in Oia. It has a nice view and it is excellent to see the sunset.

The room is clean and the majority of staff is friendly. If you need a taxi, be ready before the scheduled time because they will arrive earlier and they dont wait you more than 2 minutes. I almost lost my ship back to Athens because of the taxi scheduled by the hotel (they never arrived at the time scheduled and I was lucky to get one in the street).

The room needs some improvements. In general It is a good hotel and I would recommend although I think is overpriced.

We had a great view of the sea from our room and the room was very clean and spacious.

Lovely hotel with stunning views. The standard sea view rooms were very nice in size, looks and cleanliness. Rooms do seem to vary in terms of outdoor terrace space based on their positioning. We were very happy with our location but there were other rooms that we wouldn't have wanted and we noticed a few people asking to move.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the service was good. We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant but the poolside snacks were excellent and good value for money. The pool and various sun terraces are very nice and stylish with comfortable sun beds. this hotel is built down the cliff side and although there are a couple of lifts there are still a lot of steps so wouldn't recommend for anyone with walking difficulties. I would however recommend this hotel. Imerovigli is much quieter than neighbouring resorts of Thira and Oia but offered a few nice restaurants. The bars were mainly attached to other accommodation.

Be aware and prepared to not get the room u booked

Definitely not happy Jan!
Booked this place 6 months earlier to ensure a good room but obviously doesn't work that way. Booked superior seaview and our View was people sitting at the bar! Definitely not superior or seaview. Stayed that night but then demanded an upgrade which they didn't...was downgraded to a tiny room but had better view on a balcony that you couldn't swing a cat! Everyone else around us seem to have lovely big balconies, I just didn't get it! This was our 2nd honeymoon that we had saved for and probably won't return to Santorini after that experience.

AMAZING STAY!!!

We were absolutely thrilled by our stay at Adromeda. We were initially a bit concerned after reading a few bad reviews but upon arrival and throughout our stay, they were ultimately all contradicted.
The staff at front desk and through out the hotel was very helpfull, polite and forthcoming.
They took great care at preparing out room with a nice chilled bottle of white wine, fruits, water and fresh flowers.
Our suite was absolutely breathtaking. If you can, ask for suite 66. The view, the layout, the privacy, the access...everything was absolutely amazing!
...and those sunsets!!!! Quite honestly, enjoying the sunsets on our private terrasse was a far more magical , sublime and surreal experience than making your way down to Oia and be sardined with all the other tourists for just the same sunset.

BEWARE!

Beware of Rooms - what u get is not advertised. Dodgy!!!

We booked a two bedroom apartment which was advertised as 2 separate bedrooms and a living room. Instead we are arrived and they had put us in a 1 bedroom villa with a second bed in the living room. I was travelling with a couple and the configuration meant that i needed to walk through their room to get to the toilet or they need to walk through our room to get out. NO PRIVACY and they were very unaccomodating and tried to blame it on the booking engine (hotels.com) even though I showed them the photos that described what was being advertising consistently across ALL the booking engines and their website.

Beware as they will try and give you the worst rooms and only once you complain will they move you. Over the course of the stay we saw 4 seperate couples who were complaining about the same thing.

You DO NOT get what you pay for!

Also they put us in the apartment right in front of the cafe where people could sit and eat and look straight into our apartment.

Also intense competition for daybeds (you will have to get up at 8am to claim one) otherwise run the risk of missing out for the day. Staff very unhelpful here.

However the hotel is in an amazing location and views are stunning. Just shame reception staff were rude and unaccommodating. Beware rooms they advertise are real and ring up to make clear what room you want

It was a very good hotel.

I like the hotel. The staff were professionals. However, their attention to details, was abit of a let down... when I booked this vacation, I had requested a junior suite with a bed and a pullout sofa... I was given a queen bed. Because of this mistake, I was forced to share a bed with my friend. The next day, the hotel staff tried to fix the situation by switching our rooms to an apartment... but the bathroom was way too small... so we ended up staying in our room.
All in all the location was breathtaking, great view of the caldera. Cleanliness, superb! Breakfast, basic yet good. It's a 20 minutes walk to Fira... which is a very good thing.

I didn't understand the 24% they kept adding to my charges...though.

We really liked andromeda villas. You get a great view of the sunset and the pool facilities are lovely. When we booked we booked a classic sea view room with balcony however we didn't get a sea view room and the balcony was shared with others. Also there was no wifi reception from our room. This didn't really detract from our stay as it was so beautiful and communal areas were great to spend time in.

Magnificent View!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights at the beginning of our three week honeymoon. The service was really good. The room was really clean, but the décor was not great, the bed was not the most comfortable. There are a lot of stairs at this hotel, it was about 6 flights of stairs to get from our room to the street. It was two elavators, one of which was broken. The restaurant was good, but really expensive for the quality of food. There are restaurants and shops nearby. The view of the caldera really can't be beat, it was absolutely beautiful. The hotel faces the volcano, so it has a sunset view. The hotel is also right by Skaros Rock.

Villa two storie room.

Decent room, terrible shower, ants all over the floor. Tried to convince us there was an \"error\" on check in and we were to receive a room upgrade so we packed everything up and were then told that the person who told us we were getting an upgraded room was mistaken and we were to stay in original room...1 hour of our day
Wasted. It was 190 steps up and down whenever we wanted to go to the pool or leave the resort. Amazing views.

Upscale villas with fabulous views

Can't say enough good things about andromeda villas and their staff. The hotel has a very chilled out vibe about it. The staff was super accommodating. I didn't get her name but the young lady that works in the particularly stood out. She always took time to chat with our young son and bring him fruit.

The only down side is the stairs, but we knew that was the price to pay for the dramatic caldera view. We saw the most amazing sunsets from our terrace. I would go back in a heart beat!

5 star hotel with 2 star service

Beautiful hotel - Shame about the staff.
We went to the hotel to celebrate our anniversary - when we got there the room wasn't available which was fine so we went to relax by the pool.however it seems that they didn't have enough sunbeds even though they had enough canopy - on asking the reception was advised the sunbeds were ordered but hadn't arrived yet. After I insisted they find me a sunbed they suddenly found a stack of hidden sunbeds-I would not recommend to stay here as it a expensive hotel with really bad service.

Andromeda Villas is a hotel nestled into the cliff side of Santorini, where it takes full advantage of the sweeping, panoramic views of the Aegean. Its location in Imerovigli is between Oia and Fira. We were there for a wedding, and it could not have turned out more perfectly. The wedding took place at the hotel, as did the reception and dinner. The ceremony was beautiful, the reception was by the wonderful pool area, and the meal consisted of eggplant lasagna, beef tenderloin, and truffled mashed potatoes-very good! My friends were extremely pleased with their wedding as were all in attendance. The hotel upgraded the entire wedding party to suites once we arrived, which was a nice touch. The staff was very attentive and professional, and everyone seemed to be genuinely happy to assist you. Shout out to Rania! The staff made the hotel a stress free environment. The bright white hotel against the azure water offered a view like no other in the world. While there are many stairs to navigate throughout the grounds, it should be mentioned that Andromeda Villas is one of the very few hotels in Santorini to have an elevator-actually two! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone that has every dreamt of Santorini. It is exactly what you are looking for!

Just lack of customer service

Beautiful resort, stunning views, comfortable rooms, reasonable good food.

Poor service. We arrived. Couldn't find the entrance, a small sign hidden from sight of the road. No help or welcome. Had to find way to main reception, down at least 40 steps and 2 separate lifts with luggage. No welcome drink and room not ready until 4pm.
Pool/bar staff were on the whole useless, aside from one chap on the early shift. I wouldn't go as far as to say 'post office' counter service but not far off.

A friend who was staying at Kapari down the road joined us for dinner and could not believe it when we had to wait over 20 minutes for our drinks.
