I highly Bogota Regency Hotel. They have room service daily which is hard to find nowadays. The room was always super clean. The breakfast was pretty varied and good quality food. The staff were very helpful and respectful. This hotel is located in a strategic place if you’ll be moving around the northern part of the city, which is my case. I never had an issue with traffic and it’s easy to get there from any point in the city. There’s an Oxo, nail salon, hair salon, Carulla supermarket and Pan Pa’ya bakery, within steps from the hotel, while Unicentro, one of the biggest malls in the city is less than a 10min drive down the street. Your stay includes free parking and a 30 min free parking option for visitors. The best part is the price. This hotel has the most reasonable rates in the area so it’s definitely an no brainer. Overall I enjoyed my stay and will continue to book every time I go to Bogota.

The staff are great, they go out if their way to make sure your stay is as good as they can make it. The only down side is that its located on the corner of two very busy streets. As a result the street noise is very prominent in the rooms. Bring some ear plugs and you will enjoy your stay here.

I don't understand how this is a 4 star hotel. This is a 1 star motel. It feels like they have not put any money into the property in 30 years. The towels were so used they had holes in them. How disgusting. The chairs were so old that when you sat in them you felt like you would fall right through. The owners should shut it down for a couple of years and completely modernize it. The location is great, everything else was quite unacceptable.

Some of the rooms seem to have been upgraded. I was in one that wasn’t but that’s ok. But it’s time to finish off the rooms that haven’t been. Nice area of the city but a distance from things you may want to see. Easy to catch taxis though with the volume going by the hotel. Great value for the money. Would stay again. Employees were professional and helpful. The owners of the property are not maintaining it. The property is run down and dirty. We had to purchase our own bedding and towels because the hotels were old and stained. The bathroom had mold and the floors were dirty. We had to purchase cleaning supplies to clean the room. WiFi only worked part time. The breakfast was deplorable. This hotel needs a complete rehab or should be torn down. This hotel is only a one star or two star hotel.

There was no water available in the room. We arrived at night and no place to get a bottle of water in the hotel. We went to reception but their response was very dismissive. Overall, a place with big potential but falling short in getting the little details right.

No tiene comodidades o amenities cómo plancha (solicitamos pero tampoco tenían disponible para los huéspedes), también cuentan con secador de cabello. El hotel no tiene aire acondicionado así que debes abrir las ventanas y aunque la temperatura es agradable con el sonido de los autos en la calle puede ser difícil para dormir. Fuera de eso el servicio fue muy bueno por parte del personal, el desayuno también y un área muy segura para caminar. Restaurantes a 15 min caminando

The property was good for the price. Even though Expedia advertised free breakfast (one reason i took the hotel) we had to pay for breakfast at the property as they said it wasnt included in the rate. It wasnt that expensive, i iust thought it was very inconvenient and falsely advertized on Expedia.The property itself is convenient but outdated. The shower head just sprated water all over. The rooms were cold. There was no way of adjusting the temperature so walk long PJ's. The rooms are caprnet so if you dont like this dont book.It also felt weird under my feet so i wore slippers in the room. Its an affordable hotel if you're on a budget.
The restaurant food is also really good and the staff is polite and nice.

The property looks nice. My Sister recommended ir and so far all the family is using this convenient hotel, Only two suggestions: Bottled water should be provided. We arrived late snd I couldn’t take my medicine. Don’t trust tap water. Also, Internet connection is very poor.

clean and decent but worn out. I spent 9 days and it is literally a Hotel to just sleep and nothing else. a literal expectation vs Reality thing. Employees were AMAZING! always trying to make you feel comfortable. Housekeeping, security, front desk, breakfast crew, all of them great! No fridge. My bed was wall to wall with next rooms bathroom so every time someone would wake up and go to the bathroom I could hear them flush and I could hear the pipes roaring!

The room was extremely cold at all the times. We are from New England. Even though, we requested a portable heater, the room was not comfortable. The room lacks of amenities like microwave, litter freeze, iron, blower, shower caps, there was not heat.
-The staff at the restaurant were not polite. The hostess served us some egg omelets. They did not offer us a drink. We had to request them.
The main entrance needs maintenance.
The hallways are very dark.
-Very unprofessional and rude.
We booked our stay for 9 days. At the 4th day we had to move to another hotel in Usaquen. We couldn’t take any more.
-Nothing seems up to code for their price.

The property needs an urgent upgrade and maintenance. Upon arriving, the room assigned was not in proper cleaning conditions. I immediately reported to the front desk, which seemed unconcerned with my grievance. it took two hours until a new room was assigned still in terrible cleaning conditions. A word of advice, avoid this property and go somewhere else.

As a gold member I travel a lot and follow the advice of Hotels.com to book an hotel however I have to say the following: the hotel is really worth it, price, room and accommodation is excellent but I book this hotel because on Hotel.com the hotel provides an airport shuttle but that is faults! The hotel is at 1 hour minimum from the airport so I had to pay the taxi, the hotel doesn’t have or provide any airport shuttle so I had to pay for another taxi to go back to the airport beside to get to the airport in the morning with the traffic is not a good choice! I line hotel.com but this time I was misled not only for the money for the taxi but I had to wake up three hours earlier and get stuck in traffic to make my flight! That’s is priceless for someone that travels for business

This was a business trip and I couldn’t get good wifi in the first room I was given, actually the room barely had a tv and the channels were blocked only like 10 really boring channels weren’t… service was ok, but the first room I was given was horrible, things were old and the shower didn’t work very well in neither of the two rooms I got to use because of the poor wifi signal on the first room… I was going to use a towel and the thing it was sitting on fell off and hit me on the leg…
Then interesting enough when I was moved to the other room, it was surprising that they would give me one soooo poorly equipped and the other one even had HBO and a bunch of other premium channels… why was that then ?

Idk I didn’t like my experience compared to other hotels on that same price range.

Our stay at the Regency

This was a one-night stay.

It was understandable that due to Covid-19 the common-areas, the bar and the restaurant were closed. Some bio-security measures were taken, but they weren't enforced with enough force.

Breakfast was included, but because the hotel restaurant was closed, it was outsourced. The only option available was a continental breakfast (eggs, fruit, a croissant, orange juice and an instant coffee). It was OK, but we were expecting something better and a wider range of options.

At 1 AM someone inside the hotel (staff or guest, I'm not sure) was being very loud and banging doors. Some people were having a discussion and a lady was screaming at the top of her lungs (again staff or guest, not sure). That was very unsettling and the low point of our stay.

The room was decent and fully-functional, but it seemed somewhat outdated. There were minor aesthetic details that could be improved tho. It seemed to us our room was clean, but not recently cleaned. There was dust in the bath tub, for example.

The hotel staff was kind and helpful, they were ready to assist us at any moment. No complaints there.

After booking the room, the app showed that we could have a free upgrade on our room. Upon arrival at the hotel, the person at the front desk said that was not possible. That was a let down.

Probably under different circumstances our stay here would have been much better. The quarantine/pandemic is probably the reason of many of the issues we encountered.

Short stay over in Bogota comfortable and clean

Room was roomy and confortable, bed was GOOD. Washroom looked like recently renovated. Minibar was poor, close to nothing, just a few snacks...the restaurant closes early, we came late, directly from the airport and, the minibar might have helped. Good location, very safe area. Breakfast was good, they had a local consomme made with meat, potatoes and cilantro that we found great for starting a long day. Fruits were, well, up to the expectations with all the sweetness and flavour of recently ripped.

Very bad experience at the restaurant during one dinner. The reception made me look like a liar after saying that they gave me welcome cocktail: they never did!! They pay my shuttle to the airport as a gesture and even that I had to negotiate. Clean room, nice area but they need improvement in terms of customer service satisfaction.

Hotel is Walking Distance from Santa Barbara and Unicentro Shopping Centre. Usaquen Flee Market is quiet enjoyable on a Sunday. It is a good location in the North of City with Easy Access to Downtown and Candillaria by Buses and Taxis. Hotel Staff was friendly and Hotel was Clean and well maintained. Breakfast was sufficient, you get what you pay for. Breakfast staff was very courteous and made us feel very welcome. Enjoyed the stay throughly. And Yes, Parking is available with Security.

Breakfast was good, not many restaurants in the area. There’s a bit of traffic too. I rarely leave bad reviews. But I needed a toothbrush, I used the one in the room which I thought was free. They charged 45,000 peso!! Ridiculous. Checked out, asked for reception to call a taxi, 25 minutes later. I had to flag down my own.

My stay was comfortable. The room was clean and inviting. There was no iron available, however, and clothes would have to be sent down to the laundry room to be pressed. This was very inconvenient for me having come on a business trip. The surrounding area is not exactly lively, but there are a few nice spots in walking distance.

We enjoyed the stay at Regency because from the beginning we felt the great atmosphere and friendliness of its staff.
The room was nice and the bed was spectacular and comfortable. Area was quiet and we slept very good.
Breakfast was very good, fresh and included a hot buffet as well as a cold one.
Location was very good and had easy access. Parking was very convenient and close to main highways.

The hotel is extremely nice and attractive. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food in the in-house restaurant was superb and the man who served us could not have been better. A good selection for breakfast which is ordered from your table, the eggs being cooked fresh in any way you like. The rooms are of a good size and are very clean. Quite an impressive looking hotel. Thoroughly recommended.

Rooms and carpeting are dirty. Shower is so old, that hot water was not getting thru the shower.. they had to change the water handle in the room. Tppkk2 hrs to be fixed.
Bed are very uncomfortable and too small. Hotel is 24 years old .

The facility itself was excellent. Very comfortable lobby and rooms and very secure (no non-hotel guests allowed in after 9pm). While not a far walk from Usaquen, the area was very far from the historic heart of Bogota: At least an hour by taxi. The wifi wasn't strong in the rooms, but worked fine in the lobby.
