El peor hotel en el que me he alojado en Japon. La primera impresion que da es de un hotel sucio y descuidado, y el tamaño es demasiado pequeño que no te da espacio ni para poder secarte en el baño. Lo peor de todo es que te dan la opcion de colocar un sticker para que te limpien la habitacion caso contrario te regalan 1 botella de agua, las dos noches que estuve puse que me limpiaran la habitacion y no tendieron la cama ni limpiaron nada, solo cambiaron las toallas. Sumando que todo se escucha de las otras habitaciones, este hotel da una malisima experiencia. Es preferible no considerarlo como opcion.

I enjoyed the food and generally, the staff was nice and professional. However, I was concerned and am still concerned about two main points of their service.

One, I wanted to check in my cash and room key at the front desk. This was listed as a requirement. But the first time I did this, the front desk didn't do it properly (marking the bag with a tag #). I mentioned this to a different front desk staff and she deeply apologized for the occurrence and explained to us the proper protocol. For that, I am very grateful, but I am still very disappointed.

Second, the bathroom was very small for both me and my adult child. For reference, when sitting on the toilet, my knees were touching the door/wall and I am 5'5. My adult child is 5'2 and their knees were very close to touching the wall. So for anyone considered tall, I suggest asking the staff for proper accommodations in this particular matter.

In walking distance from Kyoto station. You can leave your luggage at the reception if needed. Wi-fi was good.
First day the breakfast was very varied but only Japanese food was served. Next day some western food was added. Nice experience.
As downside the room should be mentioned - super small with A/C over the bed. WC is a capsule added to the room with minimal space to move.
In the room you feel you are on the International space station, two people plus luggage is too much for the space available.

Perfectly adequate 'business' hotel close to Kyoto station.
Rooms are split between main building (older) and annex (newer). Mine in the main building was worn but clean. It's Japan, side is a premium, but this wasn't to bad although double bed against wall will not suit everyone.
Bathroom is slightly strange as it is a performed 'pod'. You need to step up into the bathroom, and when you're in things are a little compact - and avocado! But everything works fine. The extractor fan in mine didn't turn off, but barely audible with door shut.
Breakfast is early (6.30-9.30), but good buffet. Perhaps focused on Japanese cuisine rather than Western, but something for everyone - except fruit which is a shame.
Reception very friendly and all had excellent English. Lend if umbrella on rainy day.
There is no lounge or communal area. There is a communal spa bath (but in annex so you have to wander through reception in your gown), but it is just a bath nothing to get excited about.
Easy to get to from station (cut through aeon mall if hot or rainy). Fairly isolated apart from that (Kyoto town is North of station). Exception is the local temple which I think is one of the best and other easily missed. Well worth a visit, especially at night.
Checkout is 10am, quite early!

The hotel location is nice and few minutes walk from Kyoto station. However besides that positive point I would not recommend staying here. The internet was unreliable and frequently dropped out. The breakfast step is poor and consistently crowded even if only a few people are in the room, though the food was okay.

This hotel is made for ants and is tiny. We waited 3 hours to check-in to find we could barely fit two people in the room. Not feasible by any means. They should update their website- no bar or lounge and the spa is in a different building. They should express the size of rooms and location.

Hotel is around 8 to 10 minutes walking distance from Kyoto station. Main Entrance of the building is on the side road. Sign board of the hotel in Japanese only. Room very small need some updating specially Bathroom. Friendly hotel staff. Cross the road Aeon Mall. Breakfast was good lots of varity. Restaurent is very small.

Very convenient location, walking distance to Kyoto Stn and Toji Stn. Fantastic Aeon Mall across the street with everything you could want + supermarket! Good staff.

If you are on a budget and will be only sleeping at the hotel, this place is perfect. The hotel looks a bit grim and dated to the 1970s, definitely NOT for relaxing. Carpets, wallpaper, lampshades are covered in decades of grit and grime. Gross.

Breakfast room is packed, hot, HUMID. Not much in the way of fruits or vegetables, but lots of variety. Fantastic spread compared to other Japanese hotel offerings.

Just enough for a short stay -close to everything

Good for a short budget stay when you want to spend more time out and about then on a fancy room. Conveniently located close to Kyoto station (about 10/15 minutes carting luggage) and also a nice shopping mall with a grocery store across the road. Staff were friendly and you could leave your luggage if arriving early before check in, a few guesthouses did not have that option. The maximum for us would be 2 nights as the bed was just too hard for my neck, may be ok for others. There was just enough room to fit and pack our luggage. It was very cosy in size which was ok for our needs. A couple of negative points- Had to hold the tub shower cord as it would point straight to the wall when in the holder which was kind of annoying when you just wanted to have a relaxing warm shower after walking all day. We had a non smoking room, but was a little stuffy and it had a slight stale cigarette smell, you can open the windows to let in some fresh air (when not cold and rainy). Robes and slippers provided however was a little put off by the black hair on one of the robes.. Would also be nice if the breakfast had a little more variety, didn’t see any western choices (toast). Again overall experience was ok when you want to spend more on exploring Kyoto and have a room with basic comforts/needs.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room is small, but enough for one person. The old part of the motel would need a spring clean. Breakfast is convenient, but same every day with little changes. I took a massage, but it caused bruises for me, maybe not for everyone. generally the location of the motel is good if you only sleep there and explore Kyoto all day or work.

Free breakfast and close to Kyoto station

Kyoto Plaza Hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk to Kyoto station. There is also a mall right across the street for your leisure and also your basic needs. You can also walk through the mall to get to the subway station (helpful during the winter).

They offer public bathrooms (separated by gender) if youd like to go for a bath. If you feel uncomfortable going to the public baths, you do have your own bathroom in your hotel room. They offer free breakfast in the mornings which were pretty good. The bed was a little hard but we were able to sleep through the night okay. The elevators are not sensored so sometimes they might close on you if you take too long to get on/off (just a heads up!)

Overall, it was a decent hotel experience. I especially like that Kyoto station is in close proximity and the breakfast was good! I would recommend bringing 1 luggage per person since the rooms are pretty small.

The room was small. A full grown man could not take a shower in comfort. The staff hcould hardly understand English or Mandarin. The check out time is at 10 am and even ga 15 minute extension was refused. Little variety for breakfast. Only the location was good.Staff was not really friendly and helpful. Guests were mostly Japanese.

Staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly. They emailed us if we wanted a nonsmoking room because, recent guests didn't specify what room type they wanted and wete surprised by placement in smoking room. They accommodated their cleaning schedule, making it earlier so we can return to our room at lunch and in the afternoon. Breakfast was very delicious and has healthy options. Free downstairs computer use and internet. Unfortunately, internet in room was lagging. Overall very clean and friendly place

Enjoy Kyoto sights even if sleep was uncomfortable

The hotel is at a good location, near a large mall, where you can get groceries, do shopping, have coffee at a large Starbucks and many choices of restaurants. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The double room was like a single room with a very compact bathroom and tiny wardrobe space; the bed was uncomfortable with a hard mattress and small pillows, though there are bigger pillows available at the lobby. It was cleaned daily. Breakfast was good, especially hearty for locals with juice and good coffee.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are definitely used to foreign tourists. Location was wonderful. The room was pretty small with little ability to store clothes, and the bed was very hard and caused some pain after a few days of sleeping on it. Overall, if you aren't staying for a long while then this is a great hotel for you.

Good hotel with nice staffs in Kyoto

Due to the height difference between original room and bathroom is too high to my eld mother, this hotel re-arrange an accessible room for us after paying the price difference. In this process, the staff who could speak Chinese is so kind and helpful. The new room is spaceful and comfortable. The public bath is excellect and free breakfast is delicious, too. A good hotel with nice staffs in Kyoto.

Budget hotel near to station

Location of the hotel was about 10 mins walk from the Kyoto station. ( exit from the west gate where the New Miyako hotel location is.) The room was clean everyday though it is a little small for 2 persons but it provides all the necessities and facilities. Free breakfast was provided, unusual in a budget hotel and the service provided by the staffs was excellent since you hardly find in a budget hotel.

Would strongly recommend this hotel and if ever visit Kyoto again.

多分女性ならフリーと言えるサイズ感。
フリーというなら、男性でも大きめのLサイズくらいにするような配慮ほ必要です。

フロントスタッフの対応は丁寧で良かった。遅くチェックインして翌朝早朝チェックアウトだったため価格重視で宿泊したので満足です。本館に安く宿泊したので古さはあるものの掃除はされていたから、価格相応だと思う。

京都駅から歩けて、東寺のすぐ近く、タクシー代の節約になるので、遅く到着したり、朝の新幹線で帰るときにおすすめです。
ただそれなりに歩くので、暑いときなどはタクシーワンメーター乗っても良いかと思います。
祇園祭期間でしたが、特別料金のホテルが多い中、割安な料金で泊まれて良かったです。

24時間フロントに人がいるので遅い時間のチェックインでも手続きにまごつくことなく安心できました。

エクスペディアのサイトだと分からなかったのですが、大浴場があり足を伸ばして入浴できるのもすごく良かったです。

朝食ビュッフェはメニューは、パン、ご飯、納豆、カレー、漬物、卵焼きなど最低限ですが十分なメニューです。
近隣に朝早くからやっている飲食店がないので特別行きたいお店があるとかでない限りは、利用したほうがいいと思います。

館内や室内はやや古さは感じますが、清潔で掃除も行き届いており、お部屋に加湿空気清浄機、電気ケトルもありとても快適でした。

駅から近く、イオンモールも近くにあるので買い物や食事には困りません。

ホテル内はちょうど良いコンパクトさで、
ホテルを出る時や大浴場へ行く時など、
フロントが目に入るので安心できました。
また、京都駅からも遠くなく、
商業施設が近くにあり便利かと思います。
お値段もお安くまた利用させて頂きたいと思います。

周辺はイオンモールが近くにあり便利でした。
自販機にビール以外の酒類が多種あり、小腹がすいた時のつまみ、カップ麺も自自動販売機で扱っていた。朝食も良かったです。
コインランドリー２系列あり、しっかり使えました。

お世辞にもキレイ！とは言えませんでした。
また、フロントの男性の方の態度も悪く、こちら側が若い大学生の客だからかわかりませんが、すごく上からの口調で気分が悪かったです。
