Ants everywhere in the apartment.

The place is okay but looks nothing like the pictures it’s very much run down and needs a lot done to it once you’re there but I guess you get what you pay for?..
we had a situation in our room with ants there must be some kind of infestation because we couldn’t get rid of them no matter how much we sprayed the room with the ant killer they were everywhere in our clothes and the bathroom the kitchen!!
We asked for a refund and was told to contact hotels.com as we booked through them when we did this they rang the property to request the refund and they declined it!!
The toilet set has mould on it and the place overall is tired.
It’s also very isolated no much around it and it’s hard for taxis to find it they never can.

The only good thing I would say about this place is the housekeeper, such a lovely woman and takes pride in her job she was the best thing about the place and honestly deserves a pay rise bless her she cleaned the room everyday to her best ability and just had a lovely aura.

In conclusion..
don’t waste your money and stay somewhere else because the pictures are a lie.

Worst room I have stayed at in all of Thailand it had micro mini bugs all over the room was gross I didn’t want to stay inside the bugs where too much . Other than that it would been nice but very far from all no 711 in sight .

Large, spacious, great facilities.

Sugar Palm Residence is an apartment block with a reception office, shop and laundry area. There was a problem with wifi in the first suite / apartment I was alocated so they moved me without fuss. It seems the wifi works well o lower floors only. SPR is set in its own grounds back from the road so there is no traffic noise. It is a short walk from the centre of Phuket Old Town. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
I would definitively consider staying here again.

The apartment we booked was to have self contained features. On arrival we found the cook top removed from the bench top and covered with glass along with the missing range hood, not one piece of cutlery in the drawers, nothing to cook with what so ever. Not even a microwave. The only meal we could make was noodles. A jug 2cups for coffee and 2 glasses was all that existed . The result was eating out every meal. Other couples stayed in another complex with the works. No compromise when we spoke with front desk so we Just put up with it for 12 days as we were out each day. Nice pool and house staff were friendly. And the hot water was not turned on until the 3rd day. The grease trap under the sink was a bit off at times but that is common it seems here.

No WiFi a poor service.

Hotel rooms are spacious but basic. WiFi in rooms didn't work at all must of the stay and occasionally when they got it working it was very weak.

Biggest gripe was that they wouldn't allow us to use a shower before before flying home. It was 34 degrees outside and we'd given the room back at 12, but we're leaving at 4 for a 16 hour flight home. The hotel seemed half empty and will under capacity but we couldn't under any circumstance use a private shower. We could use the pool shower which was completely open and right in front of other guests balconies, with no changing facilities.

Poor service and unnecessarily mean in my opinion.

Not worth the stars given.

This is the first review i have ever given. Just could not be bothered. However i have had very helpful information from review made by otters so i Would like to contribute to it. This hotel looked like a new building, but was badly built with horrible furnitures that Fall apart. The worst was the bed. It was hard as stone and made for a horrible night.

very nice clean and well maintained hotel.

Really good place to stay. Very clean and well run hotel. The swimming pool is lovely and staff members are willing to assist when needed. The condo is well maintained but lacks a mircowave and basic kitchen essentials if you not eating out. It would also help if you can place maps and welcome tourist packs in the rooms as the hotel is far from the cbd.

You get what you pay for.

Stayed for 4 nights/5 days. The shower had a little mold in the corner, the couch was gross to me w/bumerous stains-I didn't even sit on it, but I was t there to watch tv. Not close to the beach, it was abt a 30 min ride to Patong beach (600 baht)-which I was fine w/bc I knew it was off the beaten track. It was a last minute booking for me due to travel delays & issues, so I researched quickly, but only paid $24 USD a night. Get a room poolside bc wifi is not in the rooms, only the common areas. My room on the 2nd floor got wifi everywhere due to the location.

5-star quality, 3-star price

This is a clean, new, modern and well equipped hotel. I had the pleasure of spending two weeks in a deluxe suite with a small private terrace and lawn, opposite the large swimming pool. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and available 24/7. I believe breakfast is included and free of charge for all guests, but it is extremely basic. There is ample covered and secure parking. The gym contains only fitness training equipment - no weights. There is a very nice, clean and cheap restaurant within walking distance called Riceberry, which I highly recommend. There are also several fresh fruit stalls within the vicinity. The hotel is a long drive from Patong (the main tourist area), yet close to other attractions such as Central Festival mall and Phuket Town. My only complaint is that swimming pool was not heated in the evening, and was unusable as a result. Although, many other guests did not find this to be a problem. Overall, staying at this hotel was a great experience.

Nice modern serviced apartment. Decent breakfast. Only downside is the wifi only works by the reception and pool area. Location is near down town phuket so you will most likely need to hire a scooter to get around, they help with that at the reception. The scooter I got was 250 baht a day, good condition. These apartments have kitchens but the cooktops are not connected and there's no pots and pans or dishes or cutlery so don't count on cooking your own meals. The fitness centre is just ok for some cardio, only one of the treadmills works. Stationary bikes and elliptical are ok.

A little remote

At breakfast cold fried eggs were served,I told the owner about this and I suggested a warmer and this is now in place.There is a lack of sun beds and this has been mentioned,but be aware the pool only gets the sun about 2pm onwards.Better wifi will come in time I am assured,the whole area has got to be updated.I stayed here for two weeks and that is too long for this location,it lacks places to eat even in Phuket town.The owner is having a restaurant built by the hotel so in future that will help.Not good walking into town I encountered stray dogs,rather disturbing.I would not stay in this area again,however I could not fault the staff just the location.

We stayed 2 nights and 3 days at sugar palm. Checkin in will easily get you confused. The lobby was filled with random people and no personnel around. The information center on the corner is the place you need to go to check in. No signs of where to go to check in. Then we were guided to our room. The room was spacious yes, but it didnt have a pleasant smell right when you walk, the bed was rock hard when you lie on your back,and the worst theres no WIFI in the rooms only around common areas like the pool, fun and lobby (im guessing thats why everyone hangs out at the lobby). So if you dont have data as a visitor you would have to go down to any of the common areas to get connected. Breakfast was blah. If you want a quiet area this is great for you but if you want to party not the best based on location. Overall, we just sucked it up sleeping on a very uncomfortable bed and not having WIFI in the room. Receptionist at night was great though!

Positives - fantastic large pool. Staff were brilliant so helpful and kind. So glad I ordered taxi from the hotel which was reliable and comfortable. I was fortunate to bump into the owner who was so kind to give us a lift to phuket town and recc a delicious local restaurant. When he overheard that I had been overcharged for a double booking he ensured I would get a refund sorted out immediately unlike hotels.com who replied with generic emails but refunded me in the end after many emails. Decor was very new. Negatives - bed was hard, basic breakfast, no TV in room, the stove advertised was disconnected and we were told it was on show for short term bookings only, you need a car to get around. Besides the negatives which can easily be fixed I will definitely be back for the warm hospitality!

Palm hotel was not even a hotel. It was an apartment sitting in the center of Phuket. Not in the tourist area but easy access to the major attractions. The room had a small kitchen, one room, and a tv area with a couch. The other floors are for full time residents of the Palm. WIFI is only available in the lobby area. The pool is nice and clean. Staff is friendly. The free breakfast was okay.

Great place, poor location

Despite the location of this place and Phuket itself, this hotel is really great. Great little space, very comfy, cute kitchen area, very new and just cozy. The hotel has a nice pool area. If you're looking to be in a great location or near the beach, then this isn't the place... It's far from everything- everything as in the beach and anything touristic. It's great though if you're using a scooter to get around and don't mind driving around. I would definitely recommend!

WOW! Beautiful Building

Brand new apartment building so everything here is super modern and clean! The room was immaculate and set up beautifully. Balcony over looking a pond and a few villas. The pool is really nice, and though not deep, it's relaxing. Fitness center only has cardio, no weights. Wifi is best in the den upstairs from the gym, couches to sit are there and there's a library of books and magazines for reading. Huge drawback is there's no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby, pool area, fitness center, and the aforementioned den. This was ok during the day as i sat i the den, but at night was a real pain because that area is closed at 9pm and the lobby has no air conditioning after 3pm in the afternoon, so the lobby is very hot in the evening and full of people using wifi. Furthermore, there are loads of bugs in Thailand so getting bit up while trying to send emails at 9 or 10pm is not great. The breakfast is really just carbs, toast and jam, assorted danishes and breads, tea, and coffee, but it was food enough for me. The place is also far off and not in the middle of the action at all, at least 25 min to Patong but about a 5 min drive to Phuket Town. Perfect for a business traveler who doesn't need wifi at night and has their own transport to get around. I would actually live here if I lived in Phuket.

First off, the owner Mr. Wah is amazing! The first day at the hotel we were about to catch a taxi when what was an employee offered us a ride. He drove us down to Kata Beach, all the way talking to us about what to see and little tips. On arrival we wanted to pay but he refused to accept any money. The next day,and the next,and the next whenever he saw us he would ask what we were doing and if we wanted a ride anywhere, it was only after we found out he is the owner of both The Sugar Palm, and The Sugar Palm Grand as well as other establishments. He truly went out of his way everyday for us, and we genuinely felt this is because he is so nice and really wanted to help us out. The rest of the staff is exceptionally nice as well. The hotel is close to downtown Phuket not the beaches, but they are easily reachable buy taxi. The hotel is very new and clean and we loved the infinity pool. At the price point it is at we were really happy and extended our stay from 2 days to 6 and are going back again soon. The area around the hotel has a lot of hidden treasures to explore(like the huge park and river across the street where hundreds of locals come at night to walk,run, and workout).
We really felt at home at this condo/hotel

Excellent new development. Not close to the beach and a good 20 minute walk to the old Town of Phuket. Otherwise everything positive. Fantastic infinity pool, modern small appartment - two rooms and bathroom with \"rainwater\" shower. Bedroom and living room with a kitchenette with fridge and kettle. Quiet efficient air conditioners in both rooms. Balcony offer looking the pool. Free quick wifi in public areas. TV with loads of channels including English film and news channels. Small mini breakfast. Friendly staff.

The place and room were fine, but although the room was properly cleaned, the living room wall was totally filthy and it made the whole room feel a quite filthy too. The pool area was nice, but there were only a few sunbeds - why? Also I missed some chairs on the balcony, there was nothing. But overall a nice stay.

โรงแรมไม่ไกลจากเมือง ~1.5 กม. สามารถเดินไปได้แต่ไม่แนะนำให้เดินหลัง 10 โมง เพราะแดดแรงมากค่ะ ที่พักเป็นคอนโดมิเนียมดัดแปลงเป็น service apartment รายวันรายเดือน มีที่จอดรถสำหรับคนที่เช่ารถ/ขับรถมา สระว่ายน้ำกว้าง มีฟิตเนสด้วย ห้องสะอาดดี เตียงกว้าง(สำหรับคนสูงไม่เกิน 170) อาจจะห่างไกลที่กิน แต่หน้าทางเข้ามีร้านอาหาร (เจ้าของเดียวกับโรงแรม) ขอติอย่างเดียว อาหารเช้าน่าจะมีไข่ดาว ไส้กรอก หรือข้าวต้มสักหน่อยน่าจะดี

Hotelliin oli hankala löytää google mapsin avulla. Siistihkö huoneistohotelli, mutta hiukan epämääräisellä alueella ja aika kaukana kaikesta. Hotelli oli melko moderni, mutta sänky todella kova, ja wifi toimi ainoastaan aulassa ja ensimmäisessä kerroksessa. Muutaman kympin hintaisena hintansa väärti. Kaksi suurta ostoskeskusta noin 3km päässä.

Great apartment with daily cleaning and bedding change. Very poor breakfast and average location away from the beach. Nice infinity pool and park nearby. Overall it's a good value for money.

There is a park next to the hotel, i can see the garden view, is beautiful! The swimming pool is good! Staff is nice.
If you want to stay this hotel, the kitchen cannot be used.

Only the lobby has wifi.The swimming pool is good!A garden next to the hotel, i can saw the garden view in my room, it's very beautiful!! The staff is very nice, patience to answer any of my questions.
The only problem is that kitchen cannot be used!
BTW, the refrigerator can work.

Ruhiges Hotel im Stadtzentrum

Zum dritten Mal in diesem Jahr im gleichen Hotel übernachtet und bis auf das Frühstück, das dieses mal etwas dürftig ausfiel, mir persönlich aber nicht viel ausgemacht hat, da ich sowieso im Urlaub selten frühstücke, war alles wie die beiden Male zuvor auch in Ordnung.

ข้อดี : ห้องพักสะอาด แบ่งเป็นส่วนๆ ระหว่างห้องนั่งเล่น และห้องนอน แอร์เย็นดี ระบบรักษาความปลอดภัยเยี่ยม
ข้อเสีย : อาหารเช้า, ระบบเตือนไฟไหม้ (มีสัญญาณดังตอนเข้าพัก เจ้าหน้าที่บอกไม่มีอะไร แต่ดังหลายครั้ง ควรปรับปรุง)
เจ้าหน้าที่เช็คอิน มีคนเดียว และสถานที่เช็คอิน แยกออกจากตัวโรงแรม (ตอนเช็คอินไม่มีเจ้าหน้าที่อยู่ ต้องนั่งรอ)

入住三晚, 其實只有一天正式在酒店活動, 游泳池很大又乾淨, 也有圖書館及室內運動場, 設施很多。還有, 房間很大而且包含客廳, 這價格能入住優質酒店, 非常棒。

Rigtigt modernet Hotel

Lækker Pool, flotte værelser med aircondition. Langt fra Strand ca 45 min med bus. Hvis man kan lide at være der hvor de lokale bor, så er det perfekt sted med billige spisesteder med rigtig god mad. Der er flere attraktioner i nærheden. Såsom weekendmarked, templer, havn og en smuk Park ved hotellet.
