Good location, lots of cheap and good non-tourist food options close, quiet at night, minimal light bleed into the room, good shower. Watch out for 3 flooring tiers in bathroom. Within walking distance of everything you'd want. Excellent!

Great stay at a very nice hotel for a very affordable price for the area! 15 minute walk to the main parts of Phuket old town. Lovely, clean pool and room cleaned every day with water bottles also given each day. Staff very friendly and can’t fault much. Cafe by pool also very good food and drink at affordable prices and residents of the hotel get a 10% discount. Thanks very much!

-Make sure you get what you paid for, we arrived a bit earlier than 2pm and was told only a grand floor room was available, which was not right. The corner room we booked at the 3rd floor definitely had more to offer.

Everything was great, clean rooms, nice pool, within walking distance to Olde Town. However, I have two main issues that were just kind of weird. First, Expedia lists that this hotel has laundry services, however I asked the front desk and they quickly said that they did not. Not sure if this was Expedia or the property’s fault, but we picked this place partially because it was listed as having laundry. Secondly, when I asked for change to get coins to do laundry elsewhere, the front desk lied (???) and said they did not have cash and could not break my bill for coins. Very odd seeing as I was a paying guest and I expect this service to be provided, especially when I went to buy water and to no surprise, they did carry cash/coins. Super bizarre but other than that it was a great stay.

Hotel is simple and has thin walls and doors. Reception phone can be heard clearly in room and every noise. Also its cheap, so it was expected.
What I didnt like was mainly two things:
- The fridge in the room makes a lot of noice. I got earplugs after two nights, and managed to sleep better. Please bring with you.
- The Internet was very poor. Not particularly slow, but sometimes (often) goes completely offline and disappears.

I would recommend this hotel!! Super clean and comfortable , I just went there last week and everything was going great and the staff name is P’Gip who works at the hotel, she was nice and helpful she helped us about the car and go to Rassada Pier to go to pp island she gave us every information and super cheap!! We will go back and stay at this hotel again and again!!!

I liked it because it's cheap and recently renovated (the old rooms are terrible and they stink humidity). The service we received from 2 girls was rediculously rude. We left 2 cups of coffee at the lobby in the morning and when we came back at night, the girl (a thin blond woman) pointed at those cups which she had left there on purpose and she told us to take them upstairs and wash them and not to do this again. We ask her to wash them cause we didn't have dish soap and sponge and she refused. We felt like children being punished. Finally she grabbed them angrily and she washed them but there was still remaining coffee when we took them back. The cleaner never cleaned the toilet and the toilet had issues twice during our 7-day stay.

I really liked it here. The room was clean and spacious, and modern enough. Great balcony, with a tree close to it and looking down a nice koi pond (I was at the front of the hotel). Good pool and place to leave a scooter if you hire one. It's possible to walk (25 min) to the big, posh double mall (to the north, west) and the airport bus stops outside the Sino Inn which is about 5 minutes away. Nice helpful young lady at reception too. No restaurant though.

We only stayed for one night, conveniently located if you have a car as easy to get to the beach and the shops. We stayed in the VIP room and had nice furniture, everything was pretty much new and worked well. I didn't manage to connect to the wi-fi, as I couldn't be bothered with the Linux verification by the end of the day.

We arrived at Patra mansion after some difficulty locating it. It is hidden down some backstreets. On arrival the placed had a slightly eerie feel to it and is almost clinical in its lay out. We where given a room on the second floor which was clean and spacious if a little dated with a balcony overlooking the front of the building. There was a slightly strange smell in the room but not overpowering. The neighbourhood is quiet yet within walking distance of the famous old town and some excellent local restaurants. The pool is lovely but appears to be used by all the expats in the area. However our stay was reasonably pleasant and would recommend for a budget stay.

Had a great stay. After our first few nights, added more because of the great hotel and location. 5 minutes walk to the picturesque Old Town and Weekend Market which we loved. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Pool was fantastic and was perfect as there isn't a beach in Phuket Town

Excellent place for short-and long-term stay
From the first time you see the grounds and buildings you can see that things are going to work out well during your stay. Everything is in the best of taste and clean and well-maintained. The lady at the front desk when I arrived was very friendly and helpful; she and other staff compensated for the one sourpuss that works at the front desk. Rooms are very comfortably furnished and, again, decorated in excellent taste. The Patra is not on a main road, which makes it just a bit difficult to find but also keeps it nice and quiet. If I ever return to Phuket Town, this is where I'll stay.
