Room was 3rd floor, so great view and not too much noise from the entertainment. Every member of staff was a credit to the hotel. Really couldnt do enough for us, especially breakfast and reception staff. Thanks brian for the custom made waffles!!! Would definitely come again.

Not disabled friendly put us in a room across the hotel down 3 lots of steps and up a life and more steps. I emailed the hotel 4 days before we went told them my mum not good on her legs but they ignored the email. Put us in a room right above the stage singers on until gone midnight then people being loud on way back to rooms. The room above had creaky floors think they was clog dancing until 5 am. We went for a rest and didn’t get any sleep in 2 nights. My mum wanted to get a taxi home at 1am in the morning it was that bad

We love The Lyndene. Great service, fantastic entertainment. The rooms are a little tired but clean, lovely and warm and great value for money.

Tip, don’t book the sea view rooms. It feels like an upgrade to be in a bigger room at the front of the hotel
But you will be right above the entertainment.

Ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The entertainment really is fab but the disco goes on till around 1am so if you are not downstairs partying, you’ll be awake anyway.

Still enjoyed our stay, breakfast is fantastic for £11pp
We will be back

Staff were lovely, beds clean and comfortable however the same cannot be said for the rest of the room. The walls were covered in a thick layer of dust in multiple areas, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, curtain pole was filthy, splash stains and rust on the radiator, thick clumps of dust under the bed, leather worn off completely on the arm chair, floor lamp looked like it had drunk one too many tequila's. Very tired and mismatched decor, not been refurbished in a long time. Toilet moved when you sat on it and the seat needs replacing as the enamel/plastic has worn off. Reception were very apologetic when we raised it upon leaving however should not need to be raised at all. Room is clearly cleaned at eye level but above and below not so much.
Going off other reviews, maybe this room is an isolated occurrence, but sadly we will definitely not be returning.

Most things about my stay were very good. The room was a nice size, although very warm, even with the radiators turned off, so had to keep the top part of the window open, even during the night. The facilities were great, but all I needed was the kettle, cups and a good supply of tea, milk and sugar, which there was. The only thing I disliked about the room was the thin walls, and the inconsiderate people in the next room, who had their TV on past midnight, and at a volume high enough for me to be able to hear that they were watching \"Rising Damp\" with Leonard Rossiter. The only other thing I disliked was the \"Entertainment\" in the evening which, on my first night there, consisted of people screeching into a microphone at top volume, which could be heard two floors up. Apart from these things, everything else was good. The food was good at breakfast, and I had a lovely sea view from my room and it was good value. The hotel was nicely decorated and carpeted throughout, apart from the dance floor, and very spacious. I would especially like to thank the ladies on the reception desk, who told me not to be concerned that I had left the key card in my room when I was leaving, and then told me they would keep the phone charger that I also left in the room, safe until I could go back and retrieve it when I phoned them from my home to tell them I had forgotten it.

We had no heating in our room (6) the first night there Friday. It was so cold we put our coats on the bed, early hours of Saturday morning, spoke to a lovely lady at reception, & within 30 mins there was someone there to sort it for us, so thank you. It was our 2nd stay there this year, entertainment was really good Shirley bassey was fantastic, food is always beautiful, so thank you once again for a lovely stay, be back in the new year. Love the Lindean..

Good hotel but improvements needed.

The Lyndene is a nice hotel with quite good food and really good entertainment. However, I think they need to take a serious look at their processes and facilities. The price we paid for the room we had for 2 nights was quite simply extortionate. The room was so small and dated and the bathroom was difficult to turn around in! Things like the mirror being broken and the door paint all scuffed are easily fixed but there is no attention to detail. It just feels like get as many people in as possible.
The breakfast was self service chaos, only 1 toast machine working. I don't care if they were waiting for parts, it wasnt good enough. Nothing is explained by staff, they just assume you know. Meals need more planning. Mange toute both nights and red cabbage to go with it!

The hotel seems well run and staff were all good and a few very good. Location is good, ample parking and facilities good. However, it's of a certain age and rooms are on the small and basic side esp the bathrooms which could do with an upgrade to modern standards. There's a lot of stairs so you need to consider that. Lifts are slow and only take two at a time. The bar area is good but bar staff weren't the quickest. The restaurant was good and pretty efficient plus the staff very helpful. Entertainment was very good and others guests nice and they all seemed to enjoy it. The beds are very comfortable so sleep quality was great and corridor noise minimal.
Value wise I think it's good for Blackpool and the entertainment worth seeing.

Proper old school hotel.

Really enjoyed our one night stay. Room warm clean and comfortable bed was great and plenty of towels.

Staff excellent. Called ahead to see when we would be there. Very welcoming at check in. The entertainment really sets the hotel as soecial. Great compare and 3 top acts both doing sets in 2 seperate entertainment lounges meaning you got to see everybody who was on. Drinks reasonably priced and checkout at 10.30 is ideal for those of us who like a leisurely morning.

A little jewel in blackpools crown and all very resonably priced.

If you like proper traditional seaside and entertainment like ut was back in the great days give them a visit. You wont be dissappointed.

Convenient parking great staff. Music too loud in lounge was 110 desibles way to loud could not hear each other speak.

We had a very good welcome and the rooms were a very good size. Beds are very comfy. They staff was very helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food we ate there was very nice. The location is not far from the shops and the tower. Would recommend it, plus I would go back there.

This was not my first visit to the hotel. There was two things that I wasn't to pleased about was the location of my room. I had to go through the restaurant, then up to 1st floor and then scramble to my room through a narrow corridor. The other thing was the aged man who plays an organ, he has not changed his act in years. He is not .y favourite act

Stayed before. Just a one night stayed following Lytham Festival. All staff helpful and friendly. Room was very warm. Air conditioning unit on wall but no controller. If i was staying for more than one night would have mentioned this at reception. Breakfast good. Will definitely stay again if i need a hotel in Blackpool

Had a great stay at the Lyndene. Found all the staff lovely & helpful. Stayed half board which was definitely worth it, food was good, bar prces were reasonable. Entertainment was also good as 3 acts on each night. A special mention to Rebecca on reception, had a slight issue with our room, which she resolved quickly and with a smile. If back in Blackpool, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. :-)

The bed had marks on not been charged when told reception she said i will see what i can do because im on my own.
Waitresses at breakfast told my husband off fir putting paper and a glass on the place next to him which wasn't been used she leaned over him while eating his breakfast said put your rubbish on this plate not on their overall not a pleasant stay

We would like to say that our stay at the Lyndene was a really enjoyable experience....\"ALL\" the staff were courteous and helpful. The room we stayed in was clean and suited our needs.
Entertainment was good \"Wife enjoyed the Bingo\".. (What we husbands have to do to keep them happy!!.)
For me theElvis impersonator was the icing on the cake.

Meals were of a high standard.
Truly recommend anyone going to Blackpool to check it out for themselves
