The only 2 issues I have is that the area around the pods need more lighting as it’s very dark and the uneven path and steps are not visible and the WiFi code at the pods did not work.

I came to stay for a family/friends wedding in September, There were no rooms left so i had one of the pods to myself. It was lovely and clean, the pods are great size for one/two people and maybe wee one if you have one. I really enjoyed my stay. If i had to give one negative, it would be the lighting heading up to the pods needs to be way better, i could hardly see a thing with those dim lights.

Amazing building, junior suite was bigger than any hotel suite I have ever stayed in. The beds are not for side sleepers but we find that is true across most of the UK. Also no towel racks and only one per person. But happy to stay, would go again.

Unfortunately the check-in experience here left something to be desired. The person who works the front desk also tends bar and seemed annoyed by my asking about using the spa (it closed before the time stated in Expedia, I asked for an exception and was really chill about it). She left me standing at the front desk for 15 mins only to return to tell me she couldn't help me any further because the bar was busy (I didn't ask for anything complex, just if she or someone could make a call).
I was at the hotel on a special trip and asked nicely if there was anything she could do. I've never met someone at a hotel check-in who cared so little, and went out of her way to mock my waiting there. I didn't want a conflict, and I recognize I asked a favour.

I was working in the local area and stayed for 3 nights. The staff were all super pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The service was excellent and the food from the restaurant was both good value and incredibly tasty. I would recommend staying here. Beautiful building set in beautiful surroundings. I didn't get chance to use the spa.

My wife and I both used the spa facilities, which were excellent, special thanks to Vadka for the amazing massages. I really enjoyed my stay here. I was with a family member and the staff who checked us in was lovely. She took time to tell us what was available and let us take our time looking at the menu as we have certain dietary requirements. We had a great stay.

Overall stay was nice, however when cooking for our family the fire alarm went off 5 times. Causing fear and alarm due to the fan of the cooker not woking so no ventilation. The radiator fell off the wall when trying to turn the heating on... not to mention my 6 year old daughter running into the sitting room with a small bag with paraphernalia inside along side a mirror with white residue all over it. But the beds were comfy n kids loved the hotub.

We stayed in a pod which we hadn’t realised we had booked. It was warm and comfortable but not sure I would pay £100 to stay again. Staff were so nice, very warm, friendly and professional, the main hotel is absolutely stunning with a beautiful lounge with an open fire.

Absolutely 5 stars from us apart from some aspects of the restaurant,waiting staff in the evening fantastic,chef would not accommodate a small change to a meal .morning staff lovely apart from lady in black Bandana,really didn't want to be there and it showed ,one guy asked for 2 eggs and she bluntly told him NO , constantly huffing and puffing,this was the only part that let this place down.The guy on reception was fantastic .

A stay in the hotel's lodge is not worth the price we paid for it. There was also no wifi, and when we complained about it, the staff answered wifi is complementary. However, they tried to help us, and wifi worked a bit for a while, but then died again. In the today's world it is almost impossible to live without wifi, so this was quite a bad experience. The staff members however were friendly and helpful, and I was even given a bottle of red wine upon my checkout!

We had only a one night stay in one of the properties cabins “Cedar” but it was lovely. The grounds are beautiful. There is a extensive path system behind the house and plenty of picture opportunities. The staff was very kind even though we were a very brief guest and there was a very active wedding happening, while we were checking

Stayed in one of their garden pods, was quite spacious for a pod I’ve stayed in smaller ones. They’re well appointed with everything you need. A nice quiet stay and the food in the restaurant was really good too.

We booked one of the \"pods\" behind the main building for two nights. This was a very clean and cozy little space for the two of us while still having access to all of the hotel amenities. The pod was comfortable although small which one would expect. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. We would stay here again should we bring the area.

It can sometimes be difficult to get rooms here and they can be a bit expensive. However, if you stay in the pods in the woods, they are cheaper than the Premier Inn in Stirling and you get all the facilities of the hotel less than a 30 steps away. WiFi was a bit dodgy though. Cracking good breakfast and dinner there too. Thank you for a great stay.

Just one disappointment this visit was the quality of the vegetarian curry. It really tasted like it was out of a jar and was just vegetables no rich protein source - such as quorn, beans, tofu - which most vegetarians will feel is important.

The Paton suite was huge, old world elegant and with a bathroom the size of a double bedroom. Service was good, particularly in the restaurant where we ate on both nights and the bar staff were warm and friendly. Dinner was very tasty - the steaks especially. We were very surprised though that our room wasn't serviced during our stay and, when we queried that with the receptionist, to be told that rooms are only serviced on request and asked \"why, what did you want to happen?\" Staying in a hotel for a special occasion is a real treat and we pushed the boat out with their top room. We expected the tea tray etc to be refreshed and the bed made up. Surely that's an automatic part of the hospitality package? We were made to feel that we were out of step these days, but I think not.

The property was impressive to look at but all the original features have been well kept with stunning stain glass windows beautiful staircase, and original large fire place. Our room was stunning such an enormous space. The staff were great effortlessly pleasant and chatty, very warm and comfortable on a night that saw temperatures drop to -9 !!

We had a very nice 1 night stop over in a pod at Inglewood house. The pod was delightful with underfloor heating as well as a wall heater, a small fridge freezer, a cute little Belfast sink, tv, table, double bed and well equipped bathroom. Dogs are not allowed in any public areas of the hotel so we had dinner brought over by room service for just a £5 supplement. There were woods behind the cabin to walk the dog and nice views over the fields behind that. We were enchanted to see a deer walking across the field at the back. Do watch your bill when checking out though as we were charged for a spa treatment that wasn’t ours and not charged for dinner. We had a call from the hotel on the way home saying they hadn’t charged us for dinner and this is when it came to light there was a spa treatment on the bill! This was then rectified whilst on the phone. Ask for an itemised invoice when paying to ensure this doesn’t happen. So someone possibly has had a free spa treatment! Apart from that this was a nice stay in a very well quipped cabin that we enjoyed very much.

Everything about the hotel is quality - from the moment you step inside to when you leave - all attention is on you and customer service is second to none ! Beautiful property, we had a one bedroom cabin, which was lovely and cosy, the health suite and hot tub was lively and relaxing and dinner was amazing. My only gripe, is there was a wedding on so quite noisy, so next time we will check there is no wedding on but it was an ideal place for a wedding.
