We stayed for 14 nights and had three rooms. We were a family travelling with 3 of our children ages 11 - 25.

The positives:
The staff were friendly and always greeted us and assisted with any enquires etc.
The pool is a great size
The bathrooms were a great size and so were the rooms.
The sunset was amazing from the beachfront area
The breakfast had plenty of options but if you’re a bacon lover this is not the hotel for you.

Improvements needed:
Whilst the bathrooms were a great size they need maintenance. Parents room bath needed resurfacing or replacing, other rooms toilet didn’t flush, water didn’t drain in shower and lots of mould. The roof also leaked and when it rained water came down though the down lights

The pool needs some work. 3 out of 5 of us got Bali Belly and the common denominator was the pool and lack of chlorine. The ambiance around the pool was very boring.
The one bar was limited for drinks - the juices were terrible so unless you drink alcohol the options were limited for drinks. Even the cocktails were not the best.
Cleaning was done every day- but it’s a basic clean, definitely not a hygienic clean in the bathrooms
It seemed guests at this hotel did not care of hotel etiquette with many people very loud

Seminyak is more an area for higher end shopping and restaurants.
The markets were expensive compared to Kuta and lots did not barter.
Seminyak more an area for day trips with driver or for those wanting a less vibrant cultural experience

Very nice space. Everyone is very polite and helpful. Showers were hot! Water pressure good! Sheets were clean! Felt very safe here! Price is good. Not really much going on where the beach is. You have to walk some time to get to a beach club.

Staffs very friendly and attentive. Our room was excellent but my son and my nephew complained of mosquitos in their respective rooms. Breakfast ok. The other thing upon checkout, I was being charged for a local call I made for IDR1250 which is $75, I was told automatically charged once an outside call was made, take note a local call. I told them I asked the feont desk how to make or dial an outside call, that they should have warned me - I did have my international aervice turned on, just did not know how to dial their local numbers. They did wave it though once Insaid they should give warning to future guests of the call charge.

The perfect spot to begin our vacation. We were travelling with 9 family members of mixed ages and this property suited us all. Within view of the beach with easy beach access and choices for dining out close by, as well as the hotel restaurant. Loved the bar at the pool for convenience. The room we booked for 3 people had the most incredible bathroom, extremely spacious with a large bath as well as a roomy shower and the toilet/bidet was separated by frosted glass, which worked very well for us.

The fact that I am 74 and had to walk 58 steps to my room which was supposed to be de luxe was appalling and all the money I paid I did not get breakfast. The pool area was badly in need of repairs and I even trod on a nail that was sticking out of the corroded wood boards. The room was okay but the television was so tiny. But the good news is that the staff were excellent except for the lady that checked us in.

The Balisani is a lovely hotel our room was fantastic, nice and spacious. Would be great if they had a coffee machine and barista. this was a downfall for us as we would have to walk down to beach or up to main street. Would have been great to have at breakfast or afternoon tea. It is a pleasant walk to main street, and to find other restaurants around and also for shopping. Hotel was great Seminyak just not for me, too busy

The staff at Balisani are 10/10 - always well presented and very attentive and helpful!

The grounds of the property are impeccably maintained by the grounds staff however I do feel like the property is starting to show it's age a little bit. There's nothing too major to worry about but with newer properties springing up in the local area it does make some maintenance issues stand out.

The food and drinks are well made and delicious and appropriately priced. Would I stay here again? Yes but not for the 9 night stay I had recently. Terima kasih Balisani!

Their is no restaurant, only for breakfast. The delivered in-service/ house food is very limited to, basically, cafe type & was quite expensive compared with local restaurants.

They advertise as Seminyak, but it is at least 20 mins from central Seminyak in no traffic. There are not many restaurants or cafe within walking distance, and most gojeks cancel the ride when they realise the location. It is pretty much on the boarder as you approach Canguu.
During the rain our ceiling was leaking, all that was done to fix it was a change in the sheets. The hotel is situated right next to a beach club which whilst convenient to visit and return to the hotel, makes it very noisy at night.
Overall the staff were friendly and helpful, the property was tidy, but it could've been cleaner.

The Grand Balisani is a traditional Balinese style hotel built around beautiful gardens and ponds. Some might say this property is a bit tired (and, to be fair, the area around the pool, pool loungers, etc could do with a bit of refurbishment) but we enjoyed our stay. It is well located on the beach and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The gardens are beautiful, the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable.

The staff were lovely however I was bitten badly by bed bugs on the first night. I asked for a room change which was given quickly. The new room was nearer to the beach however there was a digger working on the beach which started work at 2 am. No sleep or relaxation,spoke to staff who said it was a government contract and they choose their own hours. Very disappointed,stayed there August 2024.

Balisani was really nice, old school and spacious however we had a room near the Maris Beach Club which plays loud music until 9pm. Unfortunately this tanished our stay a little bit as we were looking forward to peace and quiet. Il Lido Italian food nearby has excellent food.

Location on the beach is great. I have come to this property for about 20 years . It has changed profoundly and its hugely disappointing. The food is really poor quality. Some of the staff are jaded and not pleasent Guests are encouraged to use the room safes now offered in every room.the place is not clean , dirty plates left in open air hallways for days as well as empty beer bottles. We were also charged twice for a room , some sort of double booking error , sorry nothing anyone can do - no way to call or access Expedia /Hotel .com . The stay was super stressful and double the cost. It was sad and disappointing - My brother and sister in law joined us and cut their trip short forfiting a full refund for the days cancelled , they did not feel safe staying. I will not return to the Bali Sani - very sad for the longtime loyal staff who do remain under what seems to be shabby management .

I was shocked that the hotel has no lift or ramp, but many steps to climb.
Fortunately I brought my walking aid with me, and my daughter acts as my supporter.
The room that I stayed over see the pool and sea. Was quite disappointed that seeing my condition, the staff did not automatically offer me a room on the ground floor.
The water tasted salty. We used bottled drinking water to wash up.
The hotel is definitely not friendly for wheelchair bound or people with weak legs.
In my opinion, it is not safe for children.
The breakfast was normal, not much varieties.
The staff were friendly and courteous.

Would have been a great venue in its hey day but needs substantial investment if they want a sustainable operation. Literally operating on the smell of an oily rag. Luckily I was in the fortunate position to get alternative accommodation after the second night of my stay.

My room was on the right /north-side of the resort (rooms low to mid 100s and 200s); the music emanating from the hall/club, not affiliated with the resort, across the street (north of) from the resort, is loud and clear. It's becomes part of the background noise of the area, but is noticeable. I can sleep through anything, and i did, but any vacationer should take note.

I had a room that was so close to the Mari Beach Club that I couldn’t sleep for a week . The parties at the beach club went until 11.30 pm every night .3.30 am NYE. If you do stay there , request a room FAR from that end . It was exhausting and very disappointing. Room was huge , staff and the spa services were great . Hotel was a bit far out from shopping precinct .

Classic Bali luxury. Hotel symbol is Frangipani. Ancient trees litter the walkways with fragrant blossoms that look even prettier behind the ear of your lover. The beach beckons with the sounds of surf. The sunsets from your 4th floor balcony spill right into the air conditioned room. Short strolls lead you to multiple beach bats if you prefer sand between toes as the sun drops into the sea. Worth every mile and penny you will save over the more expensive resorts nearby.

The rooms are outdated and need a facelift. I didn’t have a nice view from my balcony, no towels in my bathroom and the kettle wouldn’t turn off. The toilet had a smell of urine, but the shower was great.
The pool area is fantastic, nice vibe and great views. It’s a little bit out of the way, so not many restaurants around. But a great beach area.

I really like that the property is a 2-min walk to the beach, but the property needs major upgrade and maintenance or it will continue to deteriorate.

Service and staff were great, everyone was friendly. Breakfast was decent and has good options. Kitchen needs to improve with its food quality and cooking. Towels need to be replaced. Property location was fabulous - a short walk to shops, mini marts, restaurants, beach bars and easy to get cab and motorcycle with Gojek.

Love it there. It's old style traditional Balinese decor inside and out, of stone, wood, water features with fish. Bed a bit too hard for me for long stay for the price is my only complaint. I will still always return. Lovely staff. Right on the wonderful beach. Go to Carmels for massage etc oitside hotel much better massage for a third of the price. My 4th time I stayed here. This time there was some western loud music from a neighbouring hotel mainly on the weekend.

Beautiful resort with a great view of the beach. The staff were super hospitable and helpful as well!

Just one minor tip - do a quick check on your tap water before using it to wash your hands or face when you come back to your room after long hours. Apparently there was water maintaince done and the water came out murky and brown but we were not informed. Thankfully this was only a once off thing and it resolved within a few minutes.

Other than that, the cleanliness and tidiness of the resort was very well maintained. You could see the staff actively cleaning up the resort premises and pools everyday.

There is also a beach connected to the resort which has beautiful view, especially at sunset! We were mersmised and so relaxed enjoying our dinner on the sand and the good food. All in all, recommended!

Beautiful friendly staff, who were incredibly helpful with organising transport & trips. Great pool & fab daiquiri’s on hand, with live music each day/night by the pool. Inexpensive but fab massages right there in hotel. Such a relaxed vibe with still the flavour of Bali - not that ultra modernistic glass & chrome, could be anywhere vibe.

So if you book ask for the front ones over looking the fish ponds. So central to everything and great value for money. The food was a great choice and I think we tried everything on the menu

Grand Balisani suites provides a traditional Balinese style accommodation that is located on the beach at Seminyak.
The staff are warm and friendly. The garden view room that I experienced at the back of the hotel was spacious and perfectly clean. You can still hear the waves crashing on the beach.

Being right on the beach with multiple beach bars within 100m was awesome too. And all for a great price too. Yes the hotel may seem slightly older than others but still good. Its nice small boutique property at the corner of Seminiyak. 10 minutes from Seminiyak Sqaure ( if no traffic) with traffic it could 30 min-45 mins.
The retaurant is average. Not much vegeterian options are there. Food is better in Market then hotel.
It has not beach front but the sand is blackish( not the fault of hotel) its same all around seminiyak.

Great location for everything Seminyak and Canggu

We stayed at the Grand Balisani due to the convenient location just between Seminyak and Canggu, and also near Ku De Ta, the W Hotel, 707 and other venues, when my partner had meetings in the area. The hotel is a little bit older, but the surroundings and gardens are beautiful, and the staff very kind and helpful. The breakfast buffet isn’t ideal if you’re vegetarian or vegan, and overall, there’s not a lot to choose from - hopefully they’ll improve this in the future. The location right on the beach is perfect, and the pool and sunbathing area also very nice. In the evening, it’s very nice to take a beach stroll (5-10 mins) down to one of the beach clubs, i.e Potato Head, Ku de ta or even the bar at the W Hotel. There’s plenty to do around the hotel, and a cheap moped rental is located just outside the hotel gates. Good value for money given it’s a cheaper place to stay.

The place was good value for the price. The only issue is you can not access anywhere in the hotel including reception with out having to climb heaps of stairs with no handrails. Pretty scary for me as I had issues climbing stairs. If you don’t have small kids or older people, no problems then. The hotel is quite nice

This is the second time coming to this hotel, we have enjoyed both visits. Staff are very friendly and rooms are very clean.
The only thing that let it down I feel this visit there wasn’t enough choice for Breakfast. After a week we were fed up of same breakfast. Would have been nice for a few different dishes per morning
The pool closes at 9pm but we struggled to get towels after 7.30/8pm and were told to go to our room for them
All in all still a very enjoyable stay.

The staff at The Grand Balisani Suites was second to none. During my stay they were always making sure I had everything I needed and wanted. I was always greeted by name regardless of where I was on property: the lobby, restaurant, bar, pool, spa, etc. Loved the amount of amenities including manicure and pedicure services, full spa services, comprehensive menu, great bar selection. It was such a comfortable stay I had a hard time leaving to do any sightseeing. This property is right on the beach so I could walk up and down the coast during sunrise and sunset. I will definitely be staying here when I return to Seminyak.

Very nice people, nice location. Property is nice. But room amenities are little outdated. I think they are in the middle of upgrading the property. Overall nice stay.

Air con dripping in room nor repaired
Checkout bill nor ready when asked.
Dede and mrs ari unable to add properly the amount. Initially 4.xxx mio. Then 2.xxx. But finally paid 3.xxx
Just terrible.
In addition, despite my reservation payment by cash, they kept my passport instead of credit card guarantee. Dont think this is legal but bali is RI. So....
The morning taxi was called 40 min before my reservation.
Of course nobody at reception to help for descending stairs with heavy suitcase, nor to say good bye. Thank you or anything.

Front desk ladies are not the nicest one but rest of the staff is nice.
Check in was slow and we waited long to have the room despite nobody was using it the night before and the lady just kept saying : “check in time is 2pm”...

Classic balinise style hotel

Very peaceful hotel with traditional Balinese water gardens and buildings greatly prefer this hotel over modern creations

Big rooms, lush garden, with Balinese style buildings. We couldn't find the driver they sent for airport transfer and had to get a taxi. They demanded full payment on checkin, which we refused. They called asking for additional payment mid stay. Reception staff grumpy, but service staff were excellent. Pool and grass area nice, but not enough seating during busy times. Same for breakfast.

Some construction noise but not too bad. Normal for many areas in Bali, especially developing ones like this. There are large vacant lots bordering two sides, one is preparing for construction. So keep an eye out if booking over there next year or two, I’d say it will be a large complex by the size of the land.

It's really north of Seminyak, so you need a cab to get to the main areas, but there are plenty of little shops and cafes within walking distance. Would stay again, but it could be a bit cheaper for what it is.
