Massive room with a huge bathroom . Slightly dated but very clean.
Very good buffet in general but not enough vegetarian options . Buffet had very nice views on roof .
Service was fantastic by all the staff. Clean property . Free shuttle to mall and beach was convenient. No set time , if the shuttle was there they would take you straight away.

Great value property . Would stay again .

The staff was genuinely what made this stay amazing, the way they want to help and make your life as easy as possible stood out. From tiny things like every greeting to walking you around the hotel whenever they can. Facilities were good with the rooftop pool as the standout. The only downfall was the room, the shower door did not shut all the way and the hose aims right at the door so water pours out into the bathroom. When we brought it up the staff were amazing and tried to find a solution but then only came to say we had to pay to move to a better room, so we ended up getting an extra bath mats as that was the best they could offer.

I’ve stayed here before and love where it is… in a quiet area 5 mins walk from all the action. The service is fantastic but it really could do with some money spent on up keep.. the top deck Pool and Bar is fantastic 360 views.. I would recomend this hotel provided you’re are not expecting 5 star but I’ve always enjoyed it

Value for money, this place is great. At the end of a quiet lane but close to busier traffic areas and a short walk to restaurants, bars and nightclubs if that is your thing.
The staff are excellent in all sections - reception, bar, dining, housekeeping. Nothing was too much trouble and always with a smile and great attitude. We love it here. Thanks to all the staff for your great hospitality and making our stay so enjoyable again.

No doubt about it, this hotel is fantastic value for money. Simple, clean, quiet location and only a short walk to Seminyak eateries and shopping - they also offer complimentary transport service to Seminyak Square with hotel cart. Such friendly staff - especially Oka at the rooftop pool!
Only thing that could be improved is the very dated gym equipment I tried using during my stay.
Will certainly be back, cannot go wrong with this lovely place.

Got e.coli and Sapovirus while staying there. This happened when I was only eating room service and breakfast buffet at the hotel. Also the house keeping didn't wash the coffee glasses, kept forgetting to leave us hand towels, and was overall below average. Also we had to run the shower for 20 minutes before the water got barely hot most of the time. Overall, not a great stay.

Had 3 rooms here and had problems with 2 of them. Could be a great place but lots of construction going on and the deck around the pool is in poor condition.

Its pretty cheap to stay here and you get what you pay for.

For the price I guess it's ok. I had 3 rooms for our family. One room had multiple issues with the door lock. Another room the waterfall shower didn't work.
Pool and view on top very nice but the deck is messed up and they were doing construction up there as well.
Buffet breakfast was below average but ala carte was ok if very slow.
Biggest pet peeve was as I was trying to go after checkout they came out wanting money for a dirty towel that I used to clean the dirt off my feet from their dirt floor and a spot of pasta sauce on a sheet.
The location is nice and if u want cheap in that location it's an ok place.

A very enjoyable stay. Only issue was being made to pay to replace towels that had dirt on them, instead of just washing them was asked to replace them entirely. Didn't really make sense to me. Rooftop bar by the pool was under construction, other than that it was an enjoyable time.

We went on a family trip to celebrate my birthday and stayed in de vins sky for the last week of our stay. The hotel is fine, and service is kind. But if i had known it was going to be like being in sonny beach because of yelling and screaming Australiens i would have picked an other place.

We really loved the location of this property, and the staff were beyond lovely. It was really secure the hotel. However the mould is a serious issue in this hotel. Our room was fine smell wise (we had the whirlpool room). The lobby toilets and out on our balcony was really bad however it was raining heaps while we stayed here which could have contributed to it.
Coming from a beautiful villa the hotel scene is different with noise volumes, but when we went to bed 10pm-12am it was fine during the night.
Ending on a positive note the breakfast is so good and was included in our stay. The spa in the resort was also really really great.

The shuttle bus service was a highlight for the property. Could get to Seminyak square free of charge which was great.
The staff were lovely and helpful.

However the overall hotel is very run down post COVID in my opinion. Not that clean and a lot of broken bits and pieces. The pictures online aren’t a true reflection which is now disappointing.

For what we paid we can't fault the hotel. Great location, clean and comfortable. Our sink stopper didn't work and the staff came twice to fix it but couldn't. The hotel is dated and there were lots of dripping water inside the hotel with mould which is slightly concerning. The pool area and corridors need a huge upgrade and most likely some of the drainage too. I wouldn't stay again as its cheap and that unfortunately attracts people who are not as considerate and we endured 3 nights of people making noise in the corridors. This is not the hotels fault and was most likely bad luck, but i think you may get a better class of people if you pay more money. Food was good and cocktails good price

Don’t be deceived by the looks! The only good thing was the actual pool - unfortunately everything around it was poor quality. Let’s start with Housekeeping - it’s not unreasonable to expect 2x face towels and bath towels daily - especially when requested daily. Amenities- bathrooms are terrible with mould on silicone areas of shower, shower head doesn’t work, in our first room, it was actually pulled down. Mind you we had a “whirlpool” room! There was an exhaust fan that didn’t work, and in the first room we had, it was terribly loud. The jacuzzi, this made me throw up with the gunk that spewed from the nozzle. Gym - well this was probably the worst i have seen in any hotel ever! No items apart from the free weights actually worked. They were either rusted, or there was no power at all. Very sad! If i was to sum up, this hotel needs MAINTENANCE! There are aspects of the hotel that are unsafe! Management don’t seem to be interested, as one manager said, his focus is on revenue! That sums it all up!

So many things to say about this Hotel.
The staff are some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet.
Thanks to Bagus, Beny, Dina, Oka and if I was to name everyone I’d be here all day. From the security that keep you safe, to the drivers of the cart, the lobby staff and spa staff.
They take the time to learn your name and offer incredible service. Would highly recommend.

Great pool, but probably wouldn't book here again

Staff were great and the pool is amazing. Wifi speed was quite poor and frustratingly slow. Overall the room was fine but definitely needs a redo soon. Not much the hotel can do about this (except better sound proofing) but I was awoken on average 5 times a night by drunken guests both outside and inside yelling after coming back from partying. My 2nd floor room could hear almost everything that was happening in the lobby.

I had a wonderful safe n convenient stay at De Vin Sky with my girlfriend! The staff were extremely friendly n helpful every day, esp the dining staff…..Oka was a standout!
The only criticism l have is of my fly ridden n dark room 106, and the unruly young Australian men that were allowed to drink excessively from 8am around n in the pool
to the point of being sick insight of fellow guests!

Had a great 1 week stay at the hotel. Rooms are spacious and modern and the whole place is very clean. Breakfast was very good and the staff are amazing!
Location is great too, right in the middle of Seminyak with all the best restaurants on your doorstep and a free shuttle service to the beach or Seminyak Square. That said the hotel is down a side street so also very quiet.

We have stayed many times at De Vin Skye, but we are usually quite happy there, but on this occassion was well under par.
We were postioned near the below ground rooms that looked like a bomb site.
During the morning upgrades of new were conducted whilst asleep.
Reuqested some fly sprey for the mosqiutos, on 3 occassions and no one came or helped.
On our leave from the hotel we requested our bags be put in the car servcie as we out during the day, paid for the service and the bags were left at the hotel.
Shinning light was Okka , great service person.

The hotel looks lovely and the staff are really warm and friendly. They left us some lovely complimentary treats with it being our honeymoon. However, on own second evening we saw quite a big cockroach in our room. We called for hotel assistance and they did help, however the cockroach had hidden under a cabinet. We couldn’t change rooms as the hotel was booked up. We eventually fell asleep, however as there was no mosquito net, we felt uneasy about it. Another downside from that we didn’t get an apology or acknowledgment from the hotel staff which would have made up for it a little.

De Vins Sky was a great value for money place to stay in Seminyak. The staff are excellent and always such a pleasure to deal with. The pool area was a great place to hang out and watch the sunset. The breakfast was great each morning. The spot was perfect to walk in to Seminyak and to the beach which there is a shuttle bus for anyway if you didn’t want to walk. We had three rooms between us and had a great stay.

The food was astounding with great combinations of local and foreign cuisines, 24 hour room service, the breakfast buffet is a must do every morning with their unlimited coffee until 10am. You couldn't fault the service either. Everything from the room service, to the cleaners and the bar staff. Needed an iron a couple of times, called the front desk and it was in my room within minutes.
This place is the pinnacle of \"service with a smile\"
I will return.

Really disappointed in this hotel! Don’t get me song the staff and their kindness is the only reason I will put 2 stars but apart from that not great. We had sit conditioning issues multiple days, they couldn’t even figure the issue out and were had to leave our room at 3am to sleep in another room. I had called them since 11pm and they only thought moving us at 3am was suitable, pretty silly considering how much we paid for that room. It was a “whirlpool suite” literally nothing about it screamed out suite. Just bigger room more space with furniture in random areas. The glass door wasn’t even properly fitted with a massive gap , so many mosquitos would come in and hot air plus with our ac issues made it even worse. Please do not book the whirlpool suite it is not worth it at all. The hot tub outside was filthy with dirty things coming out of it every time we turned it on. Or bathroom SMELLED LIKE ABSOLUTE S*** !!! I wouldn’t recommend this place, unless you stay for maybe 3 days. Nothing longer. We had to struggle for 2 weeks, and buffet breakfast was really not great. Barely any variety with lack of flavour.

We had a fantastic 5 night stay at de Vins Sky Hotel! We flew in late but the reception was still open as they are 24hours and super quick and easy check in. From there they were very helpful and accommodating of all our needs. The view for breakfast and the buffet itself was delicious! Only thing about the room was that the toilet was behind a panel of frosted glass so not much privacy from the other person in the room. Other than that it was clean with all amenities and staff were wonderfully friendly! Also it is in a great location, far enough from the main strip that it’s not too noisy at night but also an easy stroll to access restaurants, markets, bars and shops.

The property was beautiful and the staff was awesome.... Went above and beyond. Eka from the blu restaurant and bar was such a a friendly person and a face we enjoyed seeing everyday. The coffee bar was a great morning treat and the breakfast buffet was top notch. The views from the rooftop pool were great and the hotel was within walking distance to many things. The only downfall the resort had was that the room smelled very moldy and mold was on the floor when we woke up in the mornings, the ac and hot outdoor temps mixing did not like each other, with some more weatherproofing of the glass deck door this facility would have been a hidden gem for the price.

After 1st round negotiation, reception aggreed to give us a king room from day 2, i refused that offer. Another round negotiation done, king room became available by waiting additional 1 hour. That was my one and only complaint regarding this property.

Overall, a fairly acceptable experience - not worth the price point though...

We stayed in a spa suite for 10 nights and the room was large and spacious with a few minor issues. The hotel overall would have been a lot nicer closer to construction however the maintenance is a bit lacking.

Although we notified days ahead of our check in time, which was later than the minimum, we were still had to wait an hour for the room. Daily housekeeping struggled to keep up even when we were out all day. Onsite food was average at best however there is loads to pick from close by.

If I was to stay here again it would need to be around $75 AUD per night.

Devin sky I am sure was lovely 10 years ago but it is in desperate need of a refurbishment. We were promised a room with a rain head shower as we had booked a whirlpool suite, our room did not have this, the staff didn't understand when I asked to change to a room that did, they eventually showed us other rooms but without the whirlpool. I wouldn't trust any of the photos on their website as they are clearly out of date and the hotel is much more tired than the photos depict. Breakfast was terrible, we ate their once and then went out each morning for breakfast, service is slow and takes a long time to get anything.

Lovely big room with whirlpool on balcony. Well equipped but terrible damp smell that was so strong and coming from AC. There was a candles burner lit when we entered the room and I realised after I blew it out why it was lit, to hide damp smell.

Whirl was lovely though in need of maintenance, really worn as was decking area but we used it and it was relaxing.

The only other thing that let it down was check out; we had to wait to check out whilst they radioed house keeping to check our room. Not sure what that was about as never encountered that ever but left us feeling like criminals and delayed us ordering Grab to airport. Staff are lovely otherwise and breakfast was good with lovely views.

Enjoyable stay

Check in was handled rather smoothly, room size was as expected, furnishing adequate, however, I find the room a little too dim to my liking, need more lightings!
Breakfast choice was average, typical egg station, and they vary the local selection daily.
Pool and pool side restaurant was refreshing, and menu was rather varied and cozy place to dine and unwind.
Staff were attentive, and any requests were attended to with urgency and deligently.

Overall, a rather good stay!
Will consider a return visit if I were to return and stay in Seminyak area.

Staff were so lovely, really nice hotel, great breakfast, pool is lovely and clean, it's very quiet, great location right in the heart of everything. They had little shows on some nights, event days, nice drinks. My only negatives were that there were lots of mosquitos in the room and that twice people came knocking at the door at 10pm, random girls, I was laughing with my partner, and we had to run out to reception in dressing gowns to make them stop letting random girls in the building.

Staff is friendly and goes the extra mile. Hotel location is close to most restaurants, shopping centres and potato head beach club. Rooms are spacious and tidy. Pool area is great with great entertainment and good priced bar.
