This hotel is an absolute joke. Not sure how it achieves 5 stars but this hotel is far from it. Rooms smelt like mould and general condition of hotel and facilities is in very poor state with many items needing attention. We cancelled our stay after a few nights and quickly exited to another location. Location is good, staff are ok but poor management let's this hotel down. Noisy nightclub nearby with loud music till all hours.

Would never stay here again even if you paid me.

They let someone in my room at 2am when I was asleep and naked on the bed.

I booked a pool access room yet there was no access to the pool tried to offer me another room which was riddled with and stunk of mold.

Rooms were flooded with the rain and the breakfast was terrible.

Managers not interested in offering and accountability for the issues nor were they helpful at the time of the incidents.

Is a lovely hotel, the staff, service and room were fantastic. We LOVED the bed and the pillows. The only problem was the pool. The pool itself is perfect, it looks great and is well maintained, but the sun lounges up the far end are stained and under the frangipanis that drop leaves and sap on you. Also there was constantly uncleared plates and glassware around the pool. Even at night time going back to our rooms. Also, we had to go elsewhere for pool time as the music was always up so loud you couldn’t read a book. We’re not adverse to loud music either, it was my 17 year old and myself in our group.
Everything else was great. Your staff were lovely and helpful, you completely cupcakes etc, although unfortunately our first one had two hairs on and underneath it, so we didn’t eat them.
Otherwise you are doing a great job. 👍

I stayed at this resort recently and was very disappointed with my experience. The property did not meet the expectations set by their photos and description. The rooms were poorly maintained, the cleanliness was not up to standard, and the service was slow and unhelpful. Basic amenities were either missing or not working properly, which made the stay uncomfortable.

For the price paid, I expected much better quality and hospitality. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this resort to families or anyone looking for a relaxing holiday. There are many better options available nearby.

I really enjoyed my stay at Jambuluwuk.
My room was spacious and had a balcony overlooking one of the pools.
The bed was huge and the room had everything I needed.
The downstairs pool is long enough to do laps (30 metres maybe) and there's also a shallow pool for the kids.
There's also a waterfall.
The rooftop pool is smaller but plenty big enough. Umbrella's would be handy though.
Possibly a wind issue while I was there.
The food options are great with some daily specials around the pool and they have a restaurant at the front which was good.
It's busy around the hotel with lots of shopping and eating options and maybe a 10 minute walk to the beach.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and that's Balinese people in general.
I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Rooms were amazing. Clean and the beds huge and super comfy. Pool deck was a bit hit and miss, needs to be repaired, but a nice overall pool area. Service, especially for food at the pool was slow, but certainly didn’t ruin our holiday. Would book again

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help with a smile. I also felt safe during my stay, which is very important to me. Another big plus is the location — it’s very close to the beach. Highly recommended!

The hotel states that it is five star but I don't think this is the case. It looks like it is in need of some TLC. There are dirty walls and and some repointing needed. I would say a 3.5 star. The bathroom overflow, plug and door handle were not working well. But he aircon worked ok. The jacuzzi on the roof was a bit green and the deck on the lower floor is in need of replacing.
Staff were good. No shuttle to the village square which is a shame as it will cost $15 a taxi ride to get there. Other hotels have this facility. The pools were nice and cleen. Good cleaning by housekeeping. Not a bad hotel but sadly a few cracks showing. The breakfast was just ok. If it wasn't for the omelet maker it would have been a little disappointing.
Wierd shop on the corner that never opens lol. We had a good time.

This property is list3d as a 5 star.. it is more like a 3.5 star at best. The worst property i have ever stayed in bali....
The food is disgusting there breakfast sudpar in comparison to other hotel's. Its old the staff xould not care less about your needs ot holiday. The property is in disrepair.
The photos and the reality of the hotel are very different.
Do not waste your money. On this hotel

Security staff and staff in the rooftop restaurant serving breakfast were friendly and welcoming staff at front desk however were hit and miss. The foyer and corridors were very hot however the room was very cold and we found it difficult to warm it up.
The hotel is fine we just found it a bit far away from the areas we liked and the bathroom was pokey. Deluxe Rooms don’t come equipped with a hairdryer or iron and ironing board you have to chase them up. That said they did get them to us quite quickly. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the facilities so not sure how good they were. Good selection at breakfast but wasn’t very tasty.

Lovely stay. Rooms very clean and comfortable and staff lovely. Hotel in great location for cafes, restaurants and shops too.

Small things to note; breakfast has good range but for the price you are bettwr off trying out the local cafes. Also the shower in the room easily flooded the bathroom.

The mattress and pillows were sooo comfortable, I had the best sleep for 7 nights straight! Also, shout out to all the friendly staff from porters, front desk and room service. My mum needed medication and the reception guy helped her call the pharmacy and pick up the medication in a few minutes! The main pool was clean. However the bathrooms need an upgrade, showerheads and tub area need a deep clean, water pressure was poor and water not hot enough for soak in tub.

This hotel would’ve been magnificent in its heyday, all the original bones are there of what it used to look like but now it’s just dated and faded and needs a complete revamp and face lift. Service was very lacking, especially around the pool. All the staff seem to be trainees at least that’s what their name badges said.
My initial room that I was given upon arriving was very dirty. The towels were grey, stained and faded and I brought this to the staff attention and then was upgraded to a poolside room which was okay but the mattress was horrible so I had them swap that as well. The buffet breakfast was $25 and very disappointing as it was 95% Asian food very little western options.
The downstairs pool was beautiful, but although there is a bar down there it is not manned very often and it takes a long time to get a drink or any food, by the way the food was not great, and the cocktails depending on the day you ordered them were hit and miss. The upstairs rooftop pool was a barren concrete landscape that really lacked anylife or atmosphere, it needed a few umbrellas for shade.
Considering what I paid for this hotel, it definitely wasn’t the cheapest in the area. It really was quite a letdown. I would highly recommend staying elsewhere.

Hotel is in disrepair, shower leaked everywhere, no balcony or operable window, insects throughout the room made worse by the staff leaving treats daily, pool bar never open, no music at pool bar. Bar restaurant was expensive and service was terrible. Food took 1 hour. Air con in room was left on permanently and still never cooled room. Unfriendly porters. Generally no atmosphere at hotel amenities. Couldnt charge breakfast to room so never went after first day. Roof top pool and facilities rubbish. Staff never left reception desk. Couldnt change room at a clearly half empty hotel. Never even asked how our stay was upon departure. Will not be back.

Hotel itself was very clean and rooms were lovely.
Area was really out of the way and meant a ride to anywhere decent - very expensive to eat anywhere local so ended up travelling to Kuta or elsewhere where far cheaper.
Hotel swum up bar never had any stock so ended up purchasing from the mini Matt across the road and serving ourselves which was kind of ridiculous.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was cleaned daily and the hotel is in generally good condition. The choice of rooftop or ground floor pool both swim up bar is nice, and the ground floor pool is huge and perfect for swimming laps. Overall was a good stay and decent value for money. The only negatives were that the sheets were clean but did some have some stains and there were traces of mould beginning in the bathroom. There is a small gym with about dozen machines and a spa which I did not get get time to try a massage this trip

The hotel room when you walk in looks clean ( by just looking) but it is not. I always wipe the high touch areas such as light switches, table tops, phone, door handles, bathroom counters with clorox wipes to disinfect and all the wipes were black from surface dirt that was not visible to the eye. I had to use multiple wipes to really clean which means they just clean very superficially, making the room look clean but they are not.

Great property to stay at, if a bit run down. Bathrooms had some mould, toilet leaked water on the floor (was fixed after two visits from hotel maintenance), shower wasn’t very hot, tub covered in stains.

BUT the beds were extremely comfortable, housekeeping kept the room very tidy, rooftop pool was great, and the area was well located with lots of dining options nearby.

Overall, great value for money.

If you love cafes, the location of the hotel would be a great location for you to explore as many as you want to. The beach is a 10-15minute walk away.
My room was upgraded to a deluxe premier, and I loves the facilities. Staff are courteous and friendly. The room I was in was dimly-litted but I liked it that way. I felt well taken care of during my stay.

Avoid at all costs!

The hotel rooms are in shambles, the pillow cover were torn, the shower weren’t really functioning, no hot water and best of all bathroom filled with drain flies.

Our first room had a horrible bathroom, the second room we changed to had drain flies.

The room itself was okay and staff are polite but that’s about it. Wouldn’t ever want to stay here.

We actually loved this hotel and got our room upgraded upon arrival which was amazing. Due to covid 19 we were forced to check out 5 days early and asked reception if we could possibly get a refund for the remaining days. Since then i have been back and forth with expedia and jambuluwuk and cant get any answer as to when or if we will receive our refund, the lack of comunication is dissapointing as we realy did enjoy our stay.

Wonderful experienced during my stay here .We arrived in late evening and was greeted with warm welcome by the staff . Changed our room due to the noise of the in-house generator that was noisy and changed to another room #321 very swiftly .
Quality of cleanliness is ok but can be improve.Location is good surrounded by local eateries and western cafe .
My panic moment distress me when I am at the airport departure gate and realised that we left our Blk shopping bag at the hotel . Call the hotel staff name Adriz to tell him about the situation .He responds immediately and send his staff name Dimas to deliver the bag to departure gate .Despite the heavy traffic to the airport , he make it on time and handover the bag to me with a warm smile🤗 Bravo 👏👏👍
We would like to thank you to both staff for the exceptional services rendered to us.

Had an amazing stay at the Jambuluwuk, could not fault the cleanliness and the staff were so attentive, nothing was too much trouble. My only negative would be that the nightclub was right outside our room and wouldn't stop playing music until 5am, but I know that is out of control of the hotel and they were happy to provide earplugs on request.
