A decent hotel only 10minutes walk from train/bus station 30/40 minutes walk to funeculor to get to old town.
Check-in was easy and as we had arrived early to store bags they actually done the check in process then so when we returned later they gave us our key code at same time as bags so could go straight to room.
I would definitely stay here again should I return to Bergamo

Problems we encountered were poor air conditioning just blowing hot. Ask reception to check whilst we were out and about sight seeing to return to hot air. Could not use as room was too warm with it on.
Couldn't open windows as we were getting bitten nightly by mosquitoes which seemed to be a problem in the room. They woke us in the middle of the night buzzing around our faces. Horrible and we were both bitten badly. We most had a sleepless night on our second night with the combination of windows shut, no aircon and being bitten. Yes they still appeared with windows shut.
Was a passable 3 star but wouldn't stay again due to the bites. Recommend people take mosquito precautions.

I had a great stay at B&B Hotel Bergamo City. The hotel is clean, modern, and comfortable, with surprisingly quiet rooms despite being located on a main road. The soundproofing and blackout curtains really help ensure a restful night.

The breakfast selection was varied and satisfying, offering a good start to the day. The hotel also provides parking facilities, which is a big plus if you're driving.

One of the best aspects is its location. It's just a short walk from the train station, making day trips to Milan super convenient — only €9 return and about an hour's travel. Additionally, the Città Alta, Bergamo’s historic upper town, is within walking distance and absolutely worth spending a day exploring.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the WiFi was reliable throughout the stay. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is a solid choice for both leisure and business travelers.

Really surprisingly good hotel. Very convenient location in central bergamo, and very helpful staff. Hotel looked brand new in the rooms and was very clean throughout. Breakfast options were very good. I would definitely stay here again next time in Bergamo. Free wifi throughout the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay with the B&B Hotel Bergamo! The bed and pillows very comfortable, place clean and breakfast was delicious and filling! The only trouble we had was finding parking, but it wasn’t even that bad using paid lots nearby. Definitely recommend and will definitely be back!

It has a a bit of a quirky interior, but we really enjoyed our stay at the B&B Hotel in Bergamo. It was a short walk from the train station and we were given a warm welcome on arrival. The breakfasts were great and the location worked out for the areas we were visiting on foot.

Average but decent

It's a bit expensive for what it is, but maybe that's the normal price in Bergamo. The room itself was not in the best shape: the door got caught on the floor while trying to open it all the way, the walls had scratch marks, only one outlet in the bedroom... But it was close to the train station, easy to check in, the hotel sold snacks and drinks in the lobby, and there was a small but nice balcony.

B&B Hotel Bergamo

Hotel okay, clean and functional, similar but not as good as a UK premier Inn for a few reasons. The bed was rock hard and the temperature was far too hot. The aircon control was locked out in terms of selecting air conditioning so when I tried to lower the temperature it did not work. being right next to the railway meant that opening the window was not really an option. A further point is that other folks arriving late caused loud bangs when their doors were shut. So the nights sleep was not good. Better information for parking would be good as well. We parked on the street next to it which you are not really supposed to but apparently they do not police the yellow line areas. Try and find white line marked spaces if you can as these are fine ... less stress!

The property was totally fine, I was just looking for a place to stay for one night before an early flight out of Bergamo the next morning. When I checked in the night before, I asked the front desk staff if they could call me a taxi the next morning, she said yes and said come down at ... time and it will be very easy to get a taxi. I came down the next morning, a different man was working and said he'd call me a taxi. 10 minutes later he came into the breakfast area and said that there were no taxi's available in the entire area, therefore I missed my flight and had to sit in the airport the entire day. What is the point of a hotel near the airport if there are no transportation services to the airport?

Great base for Bergamo

Great location near an airport bus stop and train station. Good value for money. Option to have a 9.50 euro brekky as and when - pay on the day. Also snacks and drinks available to buy. 24 h reception and staff v helpful.

It was about a mile from the train station. If you don’t hame a luggage to stroll it was ok distance to and from the hotel.
Airport was around 3.5 miles to the hotel but it costs over 30 euros to get there by taxi.
If I didn’t have luggage I would get to the airport by bus.
Simple breakfast.
There was no cattle no fridge or coffee in the room.
There was a cattle and microwave in the lobby.
It was a clean and large room,

Our room was amazing, 2 double beds was brilliant for our family when usually my child gets a converted sofa in hotels.

We didn't try the breakfast so can't comment. Plenty of vending options, including microwave meals if someone needed anything, although I'm not sure why you wouldn't just get a pizza in Italy!

Walk into town was pleasant enough, but I hadn't realized when booking how far away the old town was.

Parking was expensive at €10 per night but it was in a secure underground garage so I guess that's why.

Hotel not too far from the station

A good hotel. Breakfast available. Liked the position of the hotel. Got a taxi from station 10 euro. Arrived by airport bus. Went to the old town and used buses and venicular. 72 hour ticket 14.90 euro. Got train to Milan 48 mins.

Very disappointing

Staff really friendly and 1st impressions of room were good. However, on closer inspection the bathroom shower area was covered in mould & the sink area wall was stained and plaster was missing in parts.
The room was also infected with mosquitos which kept me awake all night and the neighbouring guests were so noisy, slamming doors all night long.
I’ve stayed here before and liked it, but this time was very disappointing so I won’t be staying again. Awful experience.

It was ok for us for staying one night. It’s a 10 min walk from the train station and bus station (if planning on going to the airport). It’s slightly far from the historical/top part of the city but it’s still manageable walking (30-40min). We had an issue with the usb port that wasn’t connected to power and it never worked.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. I didn't realise there wouldn't be any drinking water or hot drink making facilities in the room, and no where to get hot drinking water. I had to pay for my morning coffee from a machine and bottled drinking water. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom had a lot of mould in it. I could hear someone in the room showering very Kate at night, which kept me awake.

I arrived at Milano Bergamo airport and had a train in the next morning, hotel has a great location, super close to the train station, 2 stops by bus from the airport plus 4 min walking! I arrived after 11pm so I did the check in on the machine by the door, super easy as the staff provided full information by email. Excellent place for a short stay!!

Overnight in Bergamo

This turned out to be a good choice. Front desk staff were excellent, didn't even question me turning up early. Decent room as long as you remember you're by the railway. Short walk to station for trains to Milan or buses to the airport. You could get the bus around town to but i walked.

We arrived late, online checkin did not worked. The guy on a video call was very helpfull and admitted that the mistake has happened and booking is lost... hotel is full, but they found a single room saying \"bed is French bed, so 2 persons will fit in\"... When I got to room i wondered \" are all French Lilliputians'?\". It was a joke, bed was 80 cm wide. When I went down to claim there was a que at online check-in, so we had no options than to use this room. Miserable experience. Only positive thing i can tell - the guy on a videocall really tried to help.

Good hotel with a short walk to the main amenities in the low city.
Only issue was the pipes rattling during the night. Caused by water use in other guests rooms and so it came intermittently and for different lengths of time. Only a minor thing but it was enough to keep waking up on the first night

If you are in Bergamo for a day or two and taking the train for eslewhere, this hotel will barely do. If you want to visit Bergamo, it won't do. First, it is far from anything. You'd have to walk a good 15-20 mins to get a decent coffee. They serve coffee from an automat in the hotel. There's no buses and none of the apps seem to work. Taxes were okay but very expensive. (For that money, you might as well stay in a better hotel.) The room was spatious and the bed comfortable but the bathroom was bad. The staff was nice but they seemed to think the patrons were there to steal from them. No water to be had at night because they lock everything and there are no stores around.

A perfect hotel with charming staff

I found this hotel suited my needs perfectly in Bergamo. I did my check-in with Fraaz. He spoke perfect English, and I was glad that I didn't have to struggle with my stilted Italian. He was very friendly and inviting.

The room was perfectly clean and well-maintained. The location of the hotel was very convenient, being about a 10 -15 minute walk from both the train station and the heart of the modern city. I will definitely stay here again.

Unfortunately upon arrival, my check in did not go smoothly as the desk attendant couldn’t find my reservation, this was quickly fixed and the staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean. My towels were unfortunately for the environment changed daily. The only real problem was that my room was near a stair well and other guests inconsiderately spoke quite loudly till 2 am as it was a holiday weekend.

We requested a quiet room and got a 1st floor room elevated to the same level as the train track on the corner of a road junction! We requested a late check in we had no response we had to contact Hotels.com for an email contact for the hotel. We then received a message telling us that there was an automated check in. It was very time consuming and unnecessarily complicated at 2.00am

Good for a short trip

Perfect stay for a short trip with friends when you do not intend to spend a lot of time in the hotel anyways (ok-sized rooms, some pretty dark with only small windows). Late check-in no problem, as long as you receive the correct reservation number beforehand (not the hotels.com booking number). However, the check-in machine comes with a support hotline and they can provide you with the correct reservation number. Room was perfectly clean and sanitized. Hotel not in the nicest part of Bergamo but in easy walking distance from the trainstation.

AVOIDE this trap !
arrived after midnight, automated check in didn't recognise my details, called costumer service, booking reference was deferent than the one I have.
paid for the room online but they charged me the full rate again, following day I had to talk to staff and do few calls to proof that I have been charged twice.
at night no is one present to help, telephone in the room is not working, no information card in the room.

vending machine does not accept cards, or high value notes, just EU coins or 5EU note only, was desperate for water.. could NOT buy it from vending machine , end up drinking water from the toilet tap - ridicules.

The reason why I selected this hotel was that it was offering shuttle service to airport.

But unfortunately in the morning I was trapped in a situation. The staff at reception confirmed that shuttle will come in the morning at 4:45 am and take me to airport but no vehicle came and I was helpless as reception desk was closed and would open on 7:00 am only.

No taxi was available too, I am really thankful to a nearby hotel, I walked to that hotel and asked them to arrange a taxi for me otherwise I had missed the flight.
