Perfect location for walking to everything.
Very pretty property.
Nice breakfast every morning that you can have in your room if you wanted.
Front desk is very helpful and speak English.
Our only drawback was it is a noisy area but for sightseeing the spot was perfect.
Loads of nearby restaurants, shops and the train station is only 10 minutes away.
We do recommend this hotel.

Exceptional boutique hotel, in the historic center (18th century house restored to perfection, with all modern amenities), just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral and the Alcazar. So very quite location. Our room (113) was a very spacious Jr suite, with a massive bathroom. Staff was super friendly and everything was perfect!

I adore this hotel. Second stay! Love the location in the old town; it is so easy to walk to the major sites. Love the interior airy courtyard with plants, a grand piano and musical instruments. The breakfast was lovely, beautifully served, and varied each day. We slept so well in the lovely fresh white linens and the breeze coming through the open windows. Great shower. Very comfortable and memorable. 10/10 would recommend!

Quiet but close to the lively area around the Cathedral with lots of restaurants. We had great tapas at Cerveceria Giralda which the front desk recommended. (Very cool inside). I wish we would have brought our swimsuits for the rooftop pool. The temp was over 100 degrees F.

The property is in a collection of historic buildings.
Our room was clean but lacking some space for our items.
The mattress is plush and nice , but the room has little space. Their bathroom and 100% amazing. The roof top is nice, lots of orange tree and colourful.
Very close to all the important monuments and nice restaurants...
Active area and beautiful spaces. the hotel is in a very safe area.
WARNING: All streets are very narrow, if you are driving expect very small street. You can park only in a Parking lot about 100m away from the hotel for 32Euro.

This hotel was above my expectations. I knew it would be hard to find amidst the many small alleys of the Old Town but was surprised to receive a warm welcome and very detailed and comprehensive directions from the hotel a few days prior to my arrival.
The surprises continued as I discovered more beautiful spaces within each area of the building, and the entire experience was tied together by the Mozart/Musical theme which added to the charm and ambience.
I loved the thick, soft bathsheets (rather than towels), along with all the personal hygiene products and, I appreciated having a kettle (not just a coffee maker) and the delicious chocolates left at the bediside,
The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was very convenient for all the tourist sites in the centre of town, and lots of cafes and restaurants/
I will definitely return here on my next visit to Seville.

Riad style hotel with interlinked g/f seating areas beautifully decorated along the classical music theme with piped classical music, books of sheet music, portraits of classical composers and a myriad of musical instruments. Intimate breakfast areas with small tables and a fixed meal to set you up for the day. Stairs & lifts rise to the upper floors depending upon which area you are in. Rooms are clean, large, plenty of clothes storage, good sized bathroom with separate shower. Above the rooms, a choice of rooftop areas on which to sit and admire the views to Iglesia de Santa Cruz’s espadane with La Giralda beyond. Good bar, hot tub and plunge rather than swimming pool. Staff all very friendly and knowledgeable, ambiance is very peaceful and relaxing. Easy walking to all the main tourist sites once you work out navigation of the tight medieval streets. All in all a delightful hotel.

Very unique and charming little place with so many musical instruments everywhere. Very central to the old town. Accessibility by taxi directly to the hotel entrance wasn't possible and we had to walk perhaps 30 feet into a small alley after getting off the cab. Great rooftop views.

We enjoyed our stay and had a room on the top floor with a terrace. We loved the rooftop area & bar. We did use the pool one day, and that was lovely. The reason it did not get five stars is that the elevator was out a few times and my companion cannot walk that many stairs to the top floor. Also, they do not have any gluten-free options for breakfast, so we had to go elsewhere. Other than that, it’s a nice hotel near lots of restaurants & shopping.

This hotel is in an excellent location, perfect for exploring the old town of Seville. The beds, bedding, bathroom etc were perfectly clean but the lamps, kettle and night stands had clearly not been dusted in a while. This was a shame.

The main reasons behind our disappointment with this hotel were around the pool.As a a group of 3 friends treating ourselves to a getaway, the pool was the main reason for selecting Amadeus. Unfortunately, a group of 8 local youths were permitted entry to the pool. The weather was beautiful and I can only presume they or their families knew a member of staff working at the hotel and access was permitted as a ‘backhander’ or under the radar. They were unsupervised for the entirety of their visit. They became loud and completely took over the space in the pool to the point that we and other guests could not fit in the pool. This included family with a tiny bandy; they could not use the pool as the youths were jumping in and splashing unacceptably. They were also a little inappropriate with a guest who clearly presented with additional needs. This whole situation was not acceptable. When a member of our group raised this with staff on reception, she was dismissed and told -untruthfully- that these children were with parents. They absolutely were not. This dishonesty was really disappointing. I then raised this again on departure and really wasn’t given any apology or truthful explanation for the youths’ presence. A real shame Hotel Amadeus

My husband and I stayed here for one night as a day trip from Madrid. It was the luckiest hotel. Beautiful, clean, unique, lovely furnishings and mosaic detail. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and renovated. The common spaces are all beautiful. We loved the rooftop bar and pool and hot tub. We only wished we had more time. We plan to come back and stay longer! Highly recommend!

We paid for a superior double room. We were given a dark room with a small internal window which was nothing like any website pictures. We were subsequently offered a larger and much brighter room but still with windows opening inwards to internal walls. Staff were nice.

Hotel Amadeus is a lovely family-run hotel that is perfectly situated in the Santa Cruz neighbourhood and in walking distance of the main attractions. Being down a smaller alleyway meant it was away from the main fanfare so was much quieter. We had a basic double room which was more than large enough with all the amenities and additional touches like robes and slippers to ensure we were more than equipped for our stay. It is tastefully decorated with the traditional sevillian tiles and musical instruments, and was well cleaned throughout. There are numerous little rooms on the ground floor one can sit and find some peace in, and the roof top pool and bar area is also similarly broken up into small lounge areas so despite being shared space, you felt you had a private little area. Throughout, classical music was played and small fountains were found in many of the lounge areas, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. I would say this hotel is more geared towards couples and adults due to its size, however I’m sure families would still enjoy the space. The staff were perfectly welcoming and upon arrival, and offered maps and directions to the local area, and fresh cold water (much needed after coming from the airport!). Rooms were comfortable and cool (air conditioned), and one can never be upset with a walk in rainfall shower! I would absolutely come back to this hotel when staying in Seville and recommend it to all family and friends.

Fantastic location, we walked everywhere during our stay. The downstairs of the hotel is beautiful and the music theme is really special. However, we stayed in a junior suite and the room was not my taste. The decor is very dark and totally different to downstairs - very basic. Though there are big windows, there isn't much light. Of course, this is to protect the room from heat in summer. However, in mild weather there was no way of keeping them open. Being a central location also means a lot of noise at night. The loo and shower were in two tiny separate cubicles and very claustrophobic. Both the bath and the sink were in the bedroom which I didn't like. The bath in particular needed to be replaced as it was very grotty. The bed head was against the light switch, so every time you move in bed, the light comes on. That one made me laugh... we had to put a towel between the light and the bed to stop it from happening. I didn’t sleep well at all. I asked for different pillows but they just gave me two of the same.

Breakfast - ladies are lovely but my god, they need more staff. The food was bland and no options. We just got what we were given every morning! Packet ham, cold eggs and one cherry tomato with hard bread rolls, packets of butter and stale pastries. The fruit and granola were tasty at least as were the little cakes.

We went to the roof twice and each time there wasn't a member of staff to serve drinks from the bar. A nice place to sit in the sunshine though.

What an amazing hotel, it is very close to the cathedral area and was a 3 min walk each night into the heard of the town. The room was amazing and the breakfast was awesome. The ladies in the breakfast area were wonderful. I would rate this hotel 10 out of 10 for location, cleanliness and sleep. We had an amazing 7 nights.
