The pool could have been enjoyable if management put in a system to prevent people from reserving sun lounges. A number of people habitually placed towels on sun lounges when the pool opened and went away for, in most cases hours, before returning to the pool. During this time people would check the pool and leave because there were no available sun lounges. Selfish behaviour which needs to be prevented.

À FUIR – Pire hôtel que j’ai vu de ma vie

Dès notre arrivée, l’hôtel ne correspondait absolument pas à la description. Que ce soit la réception, la chambre ou encore la piscine, rien n’allait !

L’état de propreté de notre chambre (qui n’était, par la même occasion, pas celle que nous avions réservée) était absolument inadmissible.
Du pipi sur les toilettes, des draps encore jaunes, une odeur nauséabonde dans la chambre, aucune lumière, et des boutons éclatés sur tous les miroirs.

Les femmes de la réception sont aimables comme le seraient deux lions face à un morceau de steak.

Quand nous sommes allés les voir en leur montrant des photos de l’état de la chambre, leur seule réponse a été : « Nous n’avons plus d’autres chambres, on va juste refaire le ménage. »

Mes amies et moi avons donc réservé un autre hôtel et les avons informées de notre départ afin de récupérer la caution. Et là, comme par magie, une chambre s’est libérée !

Si vous souhaitez commencer ou finir votre séjour dans un hôtel encore moins propre que la scène d’un ping-pong show, je vous le recommande à 100 %.

The hotel is dated but kept clean and organised; it is centrally located and close to the main night life. The main mall is within walking distance in under 10 mins from the hotel. The hotel staff especially those working at the entrance has a wealth of knowledge of the local areas and can offer recommendations.

Room was clean, bed was comfy, and free water bottles daily, beach towels provided upon request, and incredibly sweet staff! The hotel is also just enough off the main street that it was quiet and peaceful, but an easy 5-10 minute walk to both the beach and to Bangla, with dozens of food and restaurants options everywhere. Would absolutely stay there again.

This hotel is in a perfect position in an allyway just off the main street. The room are spacious with great views and clean. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, probably the best I've ever had in an hotel. The pool is superb and the staff are helpful.
This is a very good hotel. I'll be back for sure.

I was very pleased with my stay at Patong Heritage. The staff were very helpful and willing to answer any questions that I had. It’s a fantastic location and walkable to all the hotspots in Patong. They also have a fabulous buffet breakfast with cooked to order omelets and some great Thai food as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast staff 😋 especially the Doorman & Toew and the cooking staff. They all made us feel extremley welcomed every morning and nothing was an effort.
Our housekeeper , just the most patient and beautiful lady thank you. Reception staff,i can see you are ruled with an iron fist, but i did see your beauty and patience.
When booking this hotel, remember the price you are paying. The hotel is a little tired and renovations are constant.
Very close to everything.
I would highly recommend this hotel for a budget friendly holiday.

I’ve visited Thailand before, but this has easily been the best hotel experience I’ve had at so far.
From the unbeatable location to the warm and welcoming staff, everything exceeded my expectations. And the breakfast absolutely worth waking up for.

Location wise, it’s perfect.
Everything you could possibly need is just a short walk away. no taxis required. From massage places just 2 minutes, local food joints all along the walk. shopping mall just 5 minutes walk and even Bangla Road and the beach are only about 10 minutes on foot..

Good location, friendly staff. The hotel could use a bit of a Reno or facelift, as it’s getting a little tired. But at the price we paid, we were more than happy. Value for money is extremely good. Although we may be happier than most, as we received a free room upgrade to a mini suite. Seperate bedroom, lounge/living area. 2 TVs, 2 balconies, one of which was massive wrap around the corner style, overlooking the second pool…. 2 Split system air cons were old n well used, but did a great job of keeping our rooms 21 degrees. Shame the outdoors are balcony mounted, as they are pumping hot air out there… Good breakfast buffet included. Bathroom was small and a bit rough looking. This is the main reason I only gave 4 stars.

I highly recommend Patong Heritage Hotel.The atmosphere is peaceful, clean, and quiet. The staff is exceptionally friendly, always willing to help with a warm smile and humble attitude.
Another significant advantage of this hotel is its outstanding breakfast spread, catering to even the pickiest of eaters. Vegetarian options are also plentiful, ensuring all guests have something to suit their taste.
A lovely coffee corner is an added bonus, where staff are happy to prepare authentic Thai coffee, along with a selection of specialty teas. It's the perfect way to start your day.
The hotel also features a lovely swimming pool, which I regretfully didn't have time to enjoy during my stay. However, I'm confident it's a wonderful spot to unwind, especially for those who prefer a more relaxed atmosphere over the ocean.
The hotel's location is ideal, within walking distance to the mall, Bangla Street, and numerous stores and restaurants serving traditional and international cuisine.
While a car can be convenient for exploring different beaches, it's not necessary for navigating the neighborhood. Taxis (tuk-tuks) are readily available everywhere, making it easy to get around, even for those who prefer not to drive.
Note that driving in the area can be quite challenging.

I had to change rooms 2 times because of the AC not working properly, dripping water and very noisy, manager tried to blame me, saying that out of all guests I was the only one complaining, fact is that the very night I checked in there was a Russian woman complaining about the AC (same issues I experienced) and asking to be moved to an other room. I cannot say anything about the food or the staff because they were very nice. But the hotel looks like was built in the 70s and nothing has changed or fixed, the showers were horrible, ceiling was cracked. Not a good experience, the first 4-5 nights I could sleep cause of the loud noise of the AC, eventually after changing 2 rooms I had to buy earplugs to be able to sleep. Manager was an absolute incompetent and tried to blame me. Anyway not a good experience I would not recommend this hotel to no one, don't let the photos fool you.

Satisfactory Stay, But Needs Renovation

I stayed at this hotel recently with two other adults, and while the location was great—just a short walking distance from Bangla Road—there were several aspects that could use improvement.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, which made the check-in and overall experience pleasant. However, the hotel itself felt quite dated and in need of a good renovation. This includes the gym, which I wouldn't really consider a gym by most standards.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom room, which was comfortable for three adults. However, one major issue was the shower heads, which were too low. In the general bathroom, it was nearly impossible to shower without kneeling down, and even in the main bathroom, we had to duck to get under the water. I'm 178cm tall, and my friends were 185cm and 192cm, so it was especially uncomfortable for them.

The flat-screen TVs were a bit outdated as well, as they weren’t smart TVs. Some upgrades would definitely improve the overall experience.

For the price and our basic needs, it was an okay stay, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for families. If you're traveling with family, places like Deevena Plaza or Graceland offer better accommodations.

If you're just looking for a place to sleep with standard amenities and don’t mind a more basic stay, this hotel will suffice—especially given the proximity to Patong and Bangla Road.

This was hotel #5 of 12 during an almost 2 month long trip. Phuket is more expensive and marked up. I got a Family 2 Bedroom Suite at a cheaper market rate. It is diffcult to get a fair priced room at Patong. For the family room and amenities, this was a fair deal. Location is excellent, close to Bangla Road, Beach Road, Jungceylon, Otop, and more. Family Room was big and clean enough. The couch isint a couch but a mattress in the living room. However, they did not want a family member to sleep on it, without paying extra. Bathroom was acceptable. Downside, was I wish their was 2 bathrooms but I guess I knew it was 1 bathroom before I booked. Balcony was huge with a far sea view and came with a couch and table. Family Room had 3 TVs and a full Fridge. Has 2 pools though smaller then the pictures, Breakfast Buffet was acceptable. Had a gym, and games room too. Staff could be more friendly. Pictures are about accurate. Overall decent hotel and a good stay. Good value for Family 2 Bedrooms. 8/10

Breakfast pretty decent for for what it was. The hotel is on dire need of refurbishment. The moment I opened the room door, the sewage smell hit me from the bathroom. The bathroom is decrepit, the shower handle was leaking water around the hose, had to use the rainfall head, whoch was leaking as well, everytime I was taking a shower the whole bathroom filled with water. There were lumps of hair floating around in the shower, not very clean. The bed was rock hard, coulld not get rest at all, every morning was waking up with sore body. The walls are paper thin, you could hear the person 4 rooms down taking a shower, not to mention other nocturnal activities. The air conditioning unit had to be on the whole time, but it sounded like a diesel engine, very loud. The doors of the balcony were not closing properly, so every time someone was smoking, the room filled up with the disgusting smell of cigarettes. All in all it was a very poor experience, the only positive thing was the breakfast. The price was not particularly cheap either, so for the money they charge you would expect at least a decent mattress. I guess the proximity to Bangla Road had to do with the high price, but also be prepared to walk to the 7Eleven across the road and be assaulted by 14 massage girls working at the parlours there. If this is something you’re into, go for it, but if not I would avoid it at all cost.

The first day I arrived, I found the door open and when I entered the bathroom, there was a handful of women's hair on the wall. I went to the reception and demanded that the room be cleaned, they told me that the next day, I said no, and in the end they agreed. When I returned at night, the room was still dirty... the next day I went to have breakfast and when I returned to the room, even having left the "cleaning" sign hanging on the door, no one came to clean, I went down to the reception to complain again, and I walked out. Upon returning at night, they had cleaned the room and in the sink they forgot cleaning supplies, I decided that it was no longer important to keep complaining and I went to sleep, because of my work, I went to sleep around 5am and the On the day of check out, they started making construction noises right above my head!! customers do not pay for a place to store luggage, but to enjoy a rest, which should be guaranteed, I am definitely not going to speak well of this place and I will never return !!

To be fair with this hotel but also with other travelers: It gives ME a perfect home to avoid winter time in central Europe. Means I usually stay there around 3 months.

Yes, rooms might night renovation but everything works fine and the room service as well as cleanliness are excellent. Yes gym sucks but I am at the beach anyway.

For me it is just perfect. The staff there is amazingly great and is ready to do you every extra favour they can. For me, that team is the most valuable "asset" this hotel has.

Breakfast is great and offers a lot of choices. There were other rewiews critizising that there is no decent choice of ham and cheese. I checked on that, and yes, that is true. Enjoying the rich selection of fruit, curries and salads I didn't miss that more European style a single day.

The hotel is at the dead end of a small street so it is very quite. I loved it and will certainly go back.

The Hotel is way over-rated, althought location is good but other than that it's old ,smelly and in need of full overhaul
Would not stay again, definitely not 4 star

Brilliant location

Superb location....steps away from Bangla Street and shopping malls.....great staff and service and breakfast was A1.
Two swimming pools and impressive foyer with complimentary snacks and hot drinks during the day.
The bedrooms, although spacious and comfortable are in need of refurbishment.
