No complaints whatsoever! The staff were wonderful and very friendly. The breakfast buffet had lots of variety and the food was very flavourful. The Mojito Bar and The Port restaurant were great places to enjoy after a day out. The hotel was steps away from the Patong Beach.

We like our room. For the length of stay we should have booked a larger room though We stayed in 1114 which we like. Has direct access to the pool. The bathroom is nice and spacious. The bed is comfy with a foam topper.

Clean room, friendly staff but construction going on. We had 2 rooms side by side and both had air conditioning malfunction. It was freezing. We complained multiple times and they sent a technician but they couldn’t fix it. My friend who stayed in the second room had to move to a different room one night because the ac wouldn’t work. We didn’t sleep well go any of the 4 nights. Staff were apologetic but what’s the point if the stay is ruined. They gave us some fruit and a free ride to the airport to compensate which in my opinion is not enough to make up for the inconvenience and lack of sleep

The hotel is in the midst of a major renovation, a bit of communication regarding this refurbishment would have been handy? Noisy daily between about 6am to 6pm. Access to rooms was not ideal because of the renovation (had to walk very far around the property to get to rooms). Breakfast was very average. For the price this was, at best,

I try to stay at Hilton or Marriott properties. This Doubletree, is slightly less than the quality that I’m accustomed to staying. For the price charged, I think I could’ve found a better place. But the staff was extremely nice. The room was very clean, the morning breakfast was very tasty and extensive. If I return to Patong, I would probably choose a different hotel.

Great location and easy to walk anywhere or catch a taxi outside your hotel. Love the 3 seperate pools and 3 swim up bars so it’s never too busy to get a bed around the pool. The restaurant and bar outside the front of the hotel is great too, they make good cocktails. All the staff are lovely and so helpful. Would definitely stay again

Under construction and underwhelming

We weren’t informed beforehand that the location we stayed at was under construction. So view was terrible and constantly noisy from the sounds of construction. The electricity was shut off randomly multiple times without explanation. Staff was nice but did not have experience with hotel management software and insisted that we had not paid even though we booked through hotels.com. This is the worst 4-star hotel I have ever stayed at.

I recently stayed at the DoubleTree in Phuket and had a great experience. The hotel is clean, modern, and well-maintained. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. They greeted us with warm smiles and even gave us a delicious cookie when we checked in!

The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. The pool area is beautiful and perfect for relaxing. The breakfast buffet has a good variety of food, both local and international, and everything tasted fresh.

The location is great too—close to the beach, restaurants, and shops, but still quiet enough for a peaceful stay.

Overall, I would highly recommend the DoubleTree in Phuket if you’re looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Great service, good food, and a perfect spot to enjoy your holiday!

Hotel and room was so classy; the swim up bars are a wonderful touch. Literally across the street from the beach and jet skis. Many delicious seafood options, as well fast food options within a 5 min walk. Of course the nightlife is typical Thailand style. This is my new home in Phuket!

Great room! Step right out your patio door and into the pool. Meet your friends at the swim up bar with the charming bartender. This is a bit higher end hotel. I would recommend the ground floor rooms with pool access.

The fact that there is no airport shuttle from the airport makes the transportation difficult. We had to rent a car which was difficult to drive since we are not used to the flow of traffic. Taxi drivers do not speak or understand English. This is a general problem in Bangkok and Phuket

I would like to commend and praise the staff for their incredibly genuine approach in helping and accommodating their guests. Upon arrival, I was helped out by Air and Jojo two of the most pleasant and attentive human beings one could come across. The customer service they provided is surely unparalleled and tough to match — I had some reservations about the room I received however they made sure I was extremely happy with my accommodations and managed to make sure I got a room I was comfortable with. I would like to acknowledge and once again praise their willingness, incredible attitude and disposition to go above and beyond for their guests. As someone who travels often and normally stays in very nice properties I can firmly and confidently say this has been one of the most pleasant experiences I’ve ever encountered in the hospitality/service industry even more so than some of the extremely expensive hotels I have stayed in the past. Round of applause to the Double Tree team of Phuket and a special standing ovation to Air and Jojo! Property is somewhat outdated but the staff mentioned it’s receiving a full renovation soon.

The hotel looks nothing like to glitzy pictures on their advertisement. The room was stale, lights in the bathroom didn't work and the nice little tunnel under the front door was a freeway for roaches. Hilton should be ashamed to have their name on this dump.

The hotel was okay nothing special but functional. It lacked any sort of ambience or atmosphere and inside the building seemed a bit dated and like a block of flats. The rooms were small however bathrooms were big and shower was excellent.
The breakfast was good with plenty of halal options.
The location is probably the best part with easy access and walkable to everywhere in Patong.
The staff were okay m, they didn't have the Thai smile or usual hospitality, they didn't seem happy besides the door men.

Our stay at Double Tree Hilton Phuket was fantastic. Room was as described, very clean, spacious and comfortable. The pool was fabulous, very refreshing with plenty of shade and sun loungers. Buffet breakfast was generous, with wide variety of foods and drinks available. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Location was excellent, we walked everywhere in Patong.

I love how I got a nice warm cookie at check in. It was a nice surprise!
The wed foam party bbq was amazing with the dj and the swim-up bar.
Food and drink prices were reasonable considering you’re at a 5 star hotel.
The only thing I didn’t like is having to put the key in the key holder just for the electrically to come on.It’s definitely a different concept for me personally but of course some may be used to that I'm just not.
Overall, I will be a returning guest!

The staff here were top notch! Unfortunately my fiancé and I got food poisoning from another city and got sick shortly upon check in - we were really sick in our room for 2 days straight however they brought us more water and electrolytes anytime I asked. They checked on us the next morning to see how we were - really appreciate that. Upon feeling better, we went and tried a restaurant on the property - really nice and really appreciate that the hotel is sooo close to so many things. Bangla road is minutes from the hotel and patong beach is right across the street. The only thing to be aware of is that tourists shoot fireworks off the beach at night so the odd time you'll hear the sound from your room. Was a bit annoying but not the hotel's fault. Overall highly recommend this place!!

This hotel was excellent - the room and amenities like the pool were well presented and always clean.
Breakfast buffet was very good - a couple of areas to improve in though - no hasbrowns in the whole stay and food ran out at times like cheese and bacon and took long time to refill even though we were in their early (7.30am). One host on breakfast never welcomes us as well - she just asked for our room number - but all other staff were amazing which should be noted.
Would highly recommend staying here.
