I have stayed at this property three times within the past four years. It has always been a nice and peaceful resort, however this time the Russians have taken over and there was a group of Arabs who were very noisy making the relaxing pool area very uncomfortable. The Russians are very unfriendly, no smiles, and the worst thing is that they book the pool lounges overnight by leaving their towels in the sits and making sure no one sits on them. The hotel does not enforce the first come first serve policy. There were a few Russian couples doing this and not sitting on the lounges all day but spending the day at the beach, thus taking space from people who needed them. We left the patong beach hotel which is just behind for the same reason. My advice is don’t go to this hotel during Russian season, you will be met with a lot of unfriendly people. I remember someone asking one the Russians why they did not smile and they said in Russia smiling is a sign of weakness.

Great location, but the proximity to Bangla Road is a double edged sword. I was on floor 8 of 9, and the bass from Bangla was horrible. Some nights it went on until 5 am. I think it would be muffled better if you stick to the lower floors. The staff, service, and cleanliness was awesome. All around good hotel

The description leads you to believe the hotel is right on the beach but it is a across a road and down an alley way. The hotel itself is very nice and modern, great decor and design, nice pool etc. Room service was only ok, especially the curry but main draw back to the hotel was the brown water in the tub when we ran a bath! Not very clean at all. Overall good hotel and good location in Patong.

Both overhead shower and hand held shower were pouring at the same time. The faulty button couldnt be fixed by the technician even though we had to keep calling. Aircon temperature was fixed at 25 deg and the aircon panel was just for show. The temp cannot be adjusted. It was so stuffy during day time. Bathroom was stinky.

When requested for change in room, they half heartedly showed us a room that only had an overhead shower and the toilet bowl was in a separate cubicle away from the bathroom.

The food at the pool bar was equally bad. We ordered spring rolls. It tasted of old oil and the vegetables served by the side tasted like a few days old too. Bad.

Only good thing about the hotel is the close proximity to beach and soi bangla.

Enjoyed my stay there, the staff was friendly, amenities where on point, food was excellent, it was also great that they had nanny services when we wanted to party. The only negative thing that we noticed was that the pool had mold in a few spots but nothing too serious. Also, the location is great if you want to be right in the action of Patong.

The amenities of the hotel was not replenished when we check in to the room. There is construction happening beside and for a few hours per day there is constant vibration that shakes the room and produce quite a terrible noise. I understand it’s not the fault of the hotel. But the staying experience is just badly affected by that.

Loved the swimming pool and the respectful and friendly staff. The shower in the bathroom was excellent! Location of the property could not be better.

My only little negative experience was the wait in the heat for a few hours waiting to check in. After a long flight this was a bit uncomfortable. However, I cannot blame the hotel for this since I did arrive early at around 11 am.

This hotel looks posh if you get to stay in the middle section of the property. At first they put me on the left wing, which I later found out there's a night club that blasted music into the wee hours and you could not sleep if you stayed in one of those rooms. But then they relocated me to the middle section, then all was fine. The basic amenities were all acceptable. The pool was a bit run down and I believe they will close it for repair soon. All in all, it was a decent hotel to stay at near the area.

Our only complaint is the poor lighting in the room. There were so many switches but even with everything on, we still needed a flashlight to help, which was provided in each room, so I think that the hotel is aware of the needed improvement!
Staff was great, bed was great, breakfast was incredible! We will be back!

Close to everything, the rooms were to old & need renovation, the pool need more attention it needs a automatic chlorinating system not manual pumps that they have to put our every night ridiculous. I really enjoyed my stay at Patong Beach Hotel. The rooms where clean, the staff were friendly and very welcoming. The local of the hotel is ideal, directly across the road from Patong Beach. Buffet Breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced. The internet connect in the room was strong although appeared to be very weak in the lobby and pool area.

1)The housekeeping staff were the worst ive ever come across in my entire travel history.
I have to ask them to make up my room(even with the make up room)light is on as they wont make my room if i dont tell them to. They do not replenish toiletries and i must keep asking them for toiletries daily. I was given 3 bathrobes, my wife used one and they did not replenish the used one and during my check out, the housekeeping says that i have lost a bathrobe. Explained to the front office staff that the missing bathrobe was the bathrobe that the housekeeping failed to replenish after making up my room on friday morning. It was really uncalled for and embarrassing as to put the blame on us when the housekeeping staff is doing a failed job. The hotel needs to review their housekeeping staff if they want to stay in business. If i can, i will fire the housekeeping staff as they spoil and bring disrepute to the hotel. The other department staff are really good and have to suffer the brunt of one irresponsible department. Also the music from the Sports Bar in front of the hotel is super loud till 3am every morning. My family have problem sleeping almost every night. Its crazy loud which is unbearable. Location of hotel is good.

The room is slightly small and needs a little bit of repair as some of the trim and paint has been damaged. The WiFi in our room was spotty at time and disconnected often. Depends on what u want

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel. I've the following comments:

Good side:
Great Location: it's just 2 mins walk to Patong Beach and few mins walk to Bangla Road.
I can simply go by walk and get great food, drinks and massage places. It's easy to get to beach for swim and run back to hotel for shower.

Bad side:
Since it's very near to Bangla Road, it's very noisy until 4am. For those who look for peace and relax, pls think before u book.
I was 1st allocated on the 6th floor of hotel with sea view. But the music was too noisy and my hubby couldn't sleep, thus they change another room for us on 4th floor which is away from Bangla road and no noisy disturbance.

The furniture is too old and you won't feel very comfortable or clean to stay in.
The 1st room I stay was with bad smoking smell in the washroom.
Their balcony floor was fixed with artificisl grass decorations which I guess no one will vacuum.

They placed 5 bottles of water in the living room without any price tag and I expect that was free to drink.
But finally I found out that water was 50baht each and cost me 1000baht for paying the drinking water.

Location to be beach is great but you can hear the clubs every night until 4am! Bring earplugs! Do NOT order bottled water at the pool or restaurants. They charge 100 baht or $3usd for a single small bottle. We had dinner at the recommended hotel restaurant which is on the street corner as you enter the property. The food and service were great but we were surprised to see a 300 baht charge for 3 bottles of water. We had ordered a spicy Thai salad and boy was it spicy, so we asked for water. We thought that it must have been an error on our bill so we spoke to the server. Restaurants don’t offer anything other than bottled water; we asked the restaurant server if this was an error and she said no and that many customers complain but management doesn’t care. We complained to the hotel management and we received a letter saying pretty much that’s their price so tough. We started checking other restaurants to see if they all charge this much and they don’t - the average price is around 35 baht at other restaurants. Because of this we chose to change hotels for the rest of our time on Phuket. Note they only charge 50 baht for the same bottle of water from the room mini bar. We weren’t comfortable with a hotel management team that would be so inconsiderate to its guests.

We spent 6 days at the property and found the location to be great. The hotel is conveniently located in close proximity to the beach and main streets (such as Bangla and Beach Road). The breakfast was amazing. Also, we loved the pool area; it is well-maintained and clean.
We did have some minor comments (for example, the hotel is a bit old) but overall it is a great value for the price.

Terrific location. Across street from beach but don’t expect to see beach / building in front. It’s very close to beach but hotel is half way down a block and there is a building blocking view of beach but you can still see the ocean. Very close to all the fun bars, etc makes this an excellent location for having the best of both worlds.

Been to this hotel 6 times now. Breakfast is amazing. Staff excellent. Very clean hotel. Some noise from the disco on the street, which seems to go all night, but didn't keep us awake. Close to everything. Bangla Road is only a three minute walk, but this hotel is insulated from the noise. Beach across the road, safe motorcycle parking.

We was staying fine at first 3days . Then shower head work not working . Staff there promise will fix next working day .. we went out all day and come back nothing was done . Can't take shower at all and told will be done by tomorrow again . We need to take shower . Then they move us up to L3 . Find that there is alot ant . That bit all over us hard to sleep coz of itch all over body . No choice just 2more days we are going home any way . Very upsad staying at this hotel.

Great location! Just across the beach. Shops, restaurants amd street food are aplenty at your doorstep, BangLa Road is just 5 minutes walk, but the hotel surrounding is still very much quiet and peaceful. The hotel has been renovated so rooms & other areas look new & fresh. We had a room and Siam Wing facing the smaller pool and we had the pool all to ourselves! Staff are all friendly and helpful. Will stay here again!

My girlfriend and I stayed 9 nights and had a great time in our ocean view room. The room was very clean and comfortable and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Excellent location close to the legendary Patong Beach and Bangla Road. Loved it.

nice hotel close to the beach and shopping. \"Wat\" was very helpful and the lady we had at the tour desk was wonderful. room was clean but a rubbish bin would not go astray apart from the small one in the bathroom nowhere to put rubbish. Checking in and out was an ordeal, had to wait 2 hours for our room on check-in as it was not ready. We had a late check-out of 2pm, we had a phone call from reception at 12.45pm to say we had to vacate the room as someone was wanting to check in explained we did not have to be out until 2 but was told to get out. Needless to say we did not get to shower before we had a very long flight back to Australia. When checking out I noticed on the room cleaning list our room number and it stated CHECK OUT 2PM. We arrived at the hotel at 12.30pm and did not get into the room until 3pm. Will not stay there again

The hotel location is superb close to all action that you are looking for beach, night life etc. But this time I found Phuket was everything overpriced compared to other holiday destination. If you want good holiday I would recommend pattaya, the prices that you pay in Phuket that is half in pattaya. Pattaya has all beach , night life etc only difference that it doesn’t have many Islands like Phuket. Overall was good but all things were overpriced in Phuket for me.

The hotel is OK, it great not bad but just OK. I had the suite with a pool view, the view wasn’t anything special. Didn’t eat at the hote so I can’t say anything about the food. It’s right next to Bangla Road so if you want to party it’s a perfect hote for you. I myself am not into partying and nightlife in general so didn’t like it much. I found the hote to be overpriced.

Bad, misrepresented themself on the website.

First, the pictures on the website Hotels.com shows a large hotel complex that really makes one think its part of the hotel and facilities. \"WRONG\". Pictures of the rooms are not anything shown on the website. To make things worse, we had booked the Deluxe room. When we checked in I was told that room had been given away two days earlier but could move into it 3 days later. \"WOW,\" our reservations were made far in advance. I was not like we showed up unexpected. It was very late at night so we had no option but to stay in the room we were given for that night.

We had to find a room for the remaining 6 nights. It was just so dang stressful and the staff really did not show any regards for their actions. To make things worse, upon leaving the hotel the next morning the told us \"we had to stay for the rest of the stay.\" What? I do not have to stay anywhere I wish not to stay. They sent a person to our room to make sure we left the room in order and of course found only the bed used. I would not even take a shower in that filthy place.
Please do not go to this hotel.
