Bed was super comfortable, room was very clean and the bathroom recently remodeled and surprising spacious for room that all in was less than 250 square feet. Also there were just little details I personally liked - like the indented bed back board design, you could put things on it - I found that very convenient bc my laptop took up the night stand. And I'm unusual but I always take the stairs, so no evelator - no problem - its good for you. The place a charm and great value for the location - which given its location is OMG super quiet :) I did though have a room that faced the courtyard, so maybe that helped reduce noise as others I've stayed in around here, not quiet, but I also liked, no matter what I asked - it was ok and the lowest / best priced laundry service - ever :)

Clean rooms, friendly staff, 2 mins walk to beach. The couple of lows are there is no beach facing room available and no social scene in the lobby. Its a good place to if you don’t care about that and need a clean comfortable place close to all the fun stuff.

Really nice little hotel, just in the alley way by the beach walking street, plenty food options, grocery and massage.10 min walk to major shopping mall. The hotel is nice and clean with minimal style. A bit better than the pictures show on Expedia in my opinion. Recommend

TIRAS Beach hotel is very modern and walking distance to the nightlife, malls and many great restaurants. Double Rooms are very spacious, however the TV is a bit small compared to the ratio of the room size with limited channels. The room I stayed in are keep very clean however it definitely needs an upgrade perhaps some some newer towels, fresh paint as “paint chips” on bathroom frame are peeling. If you’re a heavy sleeper and don’t mind some fireworks going off at night- this hotel is perfect for the travelers on a budget managed by an excellent staff.
Would stay here again !

Nice hotel. difficult for taxis to find but very friendly staff. Rooms were ok and I had no trouble with any noise despite the proximity to busy areas. Couple of things could do with updating in the room but overall really good value for money. Just remember no lift.

I loved my stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and has everything you need. I especially loved the bathroom, plenty of toiletries are provided and the shower is huge! The staff at this hotel are lovely and are happy to help if you need anything. The location is another good point, it is across the road from the beach. If you want to do some shopping, there are market and food stalls right outside as it is tucked away inside a little market alley off a main road. It is so easy to walk to places like the beach, Bangla Road, Jungceylon, and various markets. Even just walking down the street you can find so many interesting shops. Since the hotel is located in an area famous for nightlife, there will be some noise from the street so if you are a light sleeper bring earplugs. My room was located on the third floor, and there are no elevators. This was okay with me, but if you have a lot of heavy luggage or aren’t able to lift upstairs, that would be a challenge. Overall, I recommend staying at TIRAS Patong if you’re looking for a bang for your buck hotel, particularly for solo travellers on a budget.

A great hotel in a great location. Located directly opposite Patong Beach and surrounded by loads of restaurants. The room was spacious and clean and the staff were really friendly. There is no lift so it may not be suitable for people with mobility issues but if you're looking for something reasonably priced, clean, tidy and centrally located, then I would recommend Tiras Patong Beach.

The relation of price versus value can not be beaten and just meters from the Ocean.There is no food service at this Hotel, but you are surrounded by literally hundreds of Restaurants to choose from. If you are a chi chi lady you do not like the lighting for your make up, but who cares, you are on vacation

Good location but the entryway is not nice. You have to go through shops we’re people hartas you you every time you walk by so that you stop and buy things.

It was difficult to communicate with the staff due to very limited English. They were nice people but some things were misunderstood and/or the information provided was wrong.

This hotel is in a great location, it’s clean, people are friendly, and it has A/C.
The hotel is close to everything you could want, and a close taxi ride to local attractions. The hotel was clean and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. They will arrange most travel needs you have or give suggestions on where to rent a bike or go eat.
With so many unique areas around Patong Beach, don’t be afraid to get a bike for a couple days and go explore. You can park the bike in front of the hotel during the night.
This hotel is well worth the visit.

Great location! it’s only 2 minutes walk to the beach.

Tucked in an alley flanked by shirt sellers on both sides, we weren’t too bothered by them like other guests in previous reviews. One of the lady sellers always greeted us courteously when we would leave and return to the hotel, in the end, I bought one singlet as appreciation for her being courteous and not pushy like the others.

The hotel staff is courteous as always, and prompt with changing a new shower head for us as the one we got during check in was filled with black algae and slime from overuse.

Aside from the aforementioned shower head, room cleanliness was great!

As for the room’s view, we got the back of the building so we didn’t bother at all about it since we kept our curtains closed whenever we were on the room, but as other reviews have stated if u want a better view, opt for other rooms with an upgrade.

Our room 202 was also right next to the stairs, so at times we will hear the noisier guests walking up and down the stairs with heavy feet. Super small matter since it’s beyond the hotel’s control, but thought I’d mention it for everyone’s reference :)

Overall, we had a pleasant time at this establishment and had a good rest nightly! Thumbs up!

Tiras Patong Beach Hotel is good.

Tiras Patong Beach Hotel is a small friendly hotel in a good position near the beach and walking distance to Bangla Walking Street and large shopping mall. You can also walk to the night market to get food cooked in front of you. The staff at Tiras are friendly and very helpful. They provide a towel and beach mat in a bag when you go to the beach. They gave me a plate and utensils so i could cut and eat my papaya.
The hotel is about 30 metres down a lane but opposite the beach. There were a few issues with the Wi Fi but they got sorted. I would highly recommend this hotel for price, comfort and position.

Good for a 2 star, location has it pros and cons!

The hotel itself is good for a 2 star hotel. The services are good as well. Cleanliness lacks though. On the top it all looks good but it can be improved. I would say the challenge was the location itself. It is right across the beach which is good however whenever you want to get in or out of the hotel you need to pass through a market. Now let me tell you one thing, I am well aware of the drastic sellers around in patong area however you do get annoyed when it happens every time you pass through the entrance area. It really gets annoyed. There are around 10 shops on your way into the hotel where these shopkeepers all try to sell you something or the other and if at all you buy one thing from one, then the other will pester you every time you pass as you did not buy anything from them. This really gets annoying. I am not a big shopper and try to stay away from these areas however here it was a crazy experience where I had to face them everytime I pass through. I would advice the hotel management to act on this as this could annoy the guests which could further result into bad reputation. Overall the hotel is good to stay, basic ammenities plus good service though. Liked it but would not stay here again not because of the hotel but because of the location within the market.

Lovely hotel close to Beach and Bangla

Nestled between market stalls, restaurants and bars, this hotel has everything you need within a short walking distance. It was roughly 5 mins to the Patong Beach and 10 mins walk to Bangla Road. The room was clean with all necessary facilities for travellers (air-conditioning, fast wifi, free water) and serviced daily. The staff were very welcoming and attentive during our 3 night stay. Only downside is the lack of elevator but this was easy to look past for the prime location and price.

Stayed here for 2 nights.. Hotel looks very good, clean, comfortable and exactly same as shown in pictures...It is very near to Patong beach and Bangla street and also lot of options for food and shopping

Only drawback is, its 4 floor building and NO lift...We stayed at 4th Floor and felt little tired walking by stairs

Overall I can say very nice hotel in affordable price.. I will suggest this hotel whoever like to spend vast time on beach.

The place is nice and very well located in the middle of Patong Beach . 3 levels and not elevator means no wheel chair accessibility and you carry your suitcase up the stairway. I registred a room for 2 and had a 3rd visitor and that cost me extra to the night guy. I sent 2.5 kg laundry to be washed at 50 bhat/kg and the night guy charged me 200 bhat when I picked it up. Is small change and not worth arguing over it, but shows a tendency to nickel and dime you, at least by the graveyard one arm man. The room is very nice, very clean and Memphome is courteous, helpful and super sweet. Free wifi, free coffee in the room. I might use it again.

MODERN HOTEL, BANG FOR BUCK, 1 MINUTE TO BEACH

When I first arrived I was a little taken aback, I was expecting for the front door to face the beach. That was not the case, this hotel is located in an alleyway of shops across the street from the beach. But I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff and how modern the hotel room is. It is in the very center of Patong beach, so shops and restaurants are just a few steps away. Highly recommended!

Clean, quiet, and well cared for small hotel

Phuket is busy and touristy -- and TIRAS is located right in the heart of it all. The hotel is located 200 m off Thawewong Rd (beach road) with throngs of vendors and people, but surprisingly it is overwhelmingly quiet in the room! I wanted to be 'in the heart of everything' while also having a quiet night's sleep, and this hotel was a great fit. Property is small with limited rooms all well cared for, including two bottles of water provided each day plus in-room coffee station. All pros! One very, very minimal con that the lobby is small (2 chairs, 2 small couches) that does not encourage lingering and/or meeting other guests. Overall, very pleasant experience!

This location is a few blocks away from the nightlife of Patong Beach. Just far enough to escape the revelry but also partake fully! Safe and secure location. Private balcony was a big plus, but not sure if all the rooms have this amenity. Front desk staff were very helpful and the rooms were very clean! Have fun!!

Great budget place @ Patong

Great hotel if you don't plan to stay in the hotel. What I meant by that is, you plan to use it only for the basics = shower and sleep. That is it. Don't put high expectations because it is a really super budget hotel with pretty nicely furnished and has most of what we need (eg. fridge, shower, tv).

Hot water is inconsistent, comes and goes and constantly having to adjust. Walls are so thin you can practically hear when people starts shouting.

The location, very near whatever you need to see in Patong. The place is not accessible by cars so you need to walk in from the main street. The entrance seems to be in the middle of the market which is awkwardly weird. Party, get drunk, back to the hotel, no issues. BUT, it can be very dangerous at night when the market closes, it becomes a very, very dark lane. Unless you have guys in the group, I would not recommend this place if you plan to party till late.

There is also no elevator in this hotel but the staffs are very nice, they helped us with our bags.

This would be a great option for a one-night stay just because you want to see Patong. Anything more would be mind boggling.

All in all, for a room which costs less than 1400THB with modern furnishing and such, don't expect too much.

Highly recommend this hotel if your on a budget or even need a great place to stay.

You do have to walk thru an alley full of shops that hound you everytime you walk thru but it makes it easy on your last day to get a great deal.

Perfect location to be in the center of the action.

We only stayed for one night and the receptionist staff when we check was very helpful.The room was smell of drainage and looks dirty and dusty. The breakfast wasnt really breakfast it was more like packlunch for kid for school.

Staff and the room was ok. Room very small, worn furniture however clean. Bathroom was very good. I booked the hotel because of the location - on the beach. However the location was horrible, the place is in the middle stinky market, all the first floors occupied by the shops or cafes. Very old and dirty area, I would avoid in the future. There are other better & nicer streets.

We stayed at TIRAS for two nights over new years. Our room was on the fourth floor (there is no lift and the stairs are very steep). The water pump was broken for the first 24 hours of our trip so we had very little water in the taps and shower (and no hot water).

The hotel staff were not friendly or helpful. Access to the hotel is down a lane which is a bit scary at night and full of people trying to sell things during the day. However, the room was clean and had airconditioning. Overall the hotel is overpriced and I would not stay there again.

Very large modern and clean room. Great shower and bathroom. Excellent big TV and fast free internet. Directly opposite Patong Beach. Good air conditioner. Free water and coffee. Perfect location. Walk to Bangla St in 3 minutes. Taxis at the door. Close to good food and shops in fact you will need to run the gauntlet of market vendors in the arcade outside hotel. Friendly staff with big smiles. Don't buy breakfast. It is a box with a sandwich and a juice. There are many cafes and food places within a few minutes. Overall Tiras was excellent value, located close to everything you could want in Patong. I would stay again nice small clean hotel.

- When you step outside of the hotel you can almost see the beach. Just a 30 second walk through the market. Cross a road and you are there.
- Good shower. Nice and big.
- Provided beach towels with a bag which were both clean.
- Near the shops and restaurants. 30 second walk away from a small convenience store.
- Close to the night life.
-Pleasant staff.

Cons:
- Takes a while to receive your laundry back. Also the laundry was tagged on the material which we were not pleased about.
- No lift but no big deal
- Tried to phone us on the phone in our room which did not ring. Said they would look at it. However it still did not ring the following day.

The hotel rooms are really funky and clean. This was the best bit but, there is no outside area of the hotel as it is in a lane way and the hotel is really quite expensive for what you get. No breakfast included. No pool. Bit noisy on the side we were in. We ended up moving to a hotel with fantastic pool, bigger room and breakfast for half the price of this hotel.

It's about 50 meters from the beach. We had the cheapest room. No view. Window looks out into the fire escape. But this was perfect as it was quiet at night so you could get a good night's rest. Room was mod and clean.

The staff very friendly and informative. We arrived early on first day and they give us suggestion that we can go around near by. All staff both shift day/night very friendly and always smile for you even they're tired apparently.

Hotel location was wonderful just 1 minute from Patong Beach by walk. At main street has minimart which is open 24/7 and ATM which you can get your local currency very easily. Bang la street is 5 mins walk to the north.

In side room is super clean, private restroom fully furnished with all American Standard. The most impressive forme is the water pressure from the shower is just more than perfect.

This was an amazing stay. The room was clean and modern....we also loved our private deck off our room. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Loved that we were only a 2 minute walk to the beach and about a 5-10 minute walk to Bangla Road. The hotel was a bit hard to find because it was kind of down an alley, but once we found it was great! There are lots of great restaurants around and lots of comforts of home pretty much right next door (Starbucks, McDonalds, etc). In our whole stay in Thailand this was one of our best locations because it was a perfect compromise of beach and night life.

This \"hotel\" is like a trendy little condo building hidden in a covered alley right off the beach road in Patong Beach. It's right across the street from the beach and about 2 blocks south of the Bangla Road bar scene. The location, the staff and the design in the hotel are the pros. The staff is like family and they will help you out as needed and know enough english. The cons: no elevator especially if you're on the top (4th floor). You do have to run a gauntlet of t shirt sellers to and from your hotel each time as it is in an alley where these folks are located. This is actually a persistent problem in Patong. You will be offered something for sale every 10-15 seconds (not an exaggeration) during your stay. Taxi, tuk tuk, t shirt, food, sunglasses, henna, massage, fruit, aloe, you name it. It kinda wore us out and it's non stop on the beach. You have to go to a resort or get a few blocks off the main areas to avoid this. Bangla Road is nothing but this. You will learn to avoid eye contact and say no a lot. Anyway, for the price, Tiras is a nice spot. Would recommend it.

Hidden Gem in Patong Beach

Stayed for a week. Most friendly and helpful staff I've ever had the privelidge of meeting. Rooms are great and very trendy. Might be a little noisy at times in the early evening but you're in Patong...you'll get it anywhere you stay.

excellent value for money, very close to beach :)

never felt I was staying in a 2 star hotel.
maintained very well.

excellent location. very close to beach and 10 mins walk to bangla street ;), good food options nearby, nice massage parlours nearby, local markets nearby. everything is nearby :)

hotel receptionist always gave good suggestions about whatever we asked for (bike hire, airport transfer)
