Staff was in denial mode for everything and hospitality is not there in their behaviour at all. Don't know how they are operating it listing on Expedia with 3 star type. Kindly check all thing before booking or atleast choose option to pay at hotel.

Decent location to stay in. But the part that had my room, does not have any lift. So I need to carry my heavy luggage to 3rd floor. Room was decent and clean. It has refrigerator, but no microwave. Air conditioner was very weak. It needs 10 min to cool down. There were number of places to eat, agent, shops around the hotel. Big shopping mall is near walking distance. Also there is a grocery/fish market food market within 7~10 min of walking. I booked the hotel knowing that they have breakfast included but turns out that it was not. Not sure whose fault was that.

I booked the hotel as it said it had parking - it did not.
Even the 'welcome email' said I would be told about the parking on arrival - on arrival I was told there was no parking.
I thought breakfast was included - it was not.
The photos on the listing show a good condition room that appears to be a decent size. The room was small, the 'kitchen' had chunks out of the work surface and most of the cupboard doors were falling off. There was a condom packet left in the room in one of the kitchen cupboards.
Impressive? No.
Quality? No.
What I booked and paid for? No.

It's a difficult review for me.....I had just come from a quiet town, and a 4* hotel.......this was neither of them. It's a busy, noisy city......but that's not a bad thing. The hotel was adequate. Was clean enough, staff were nice. Food was good. Hotel isn't brand new so looks it's age a little......but, I can't fault it. All staff are friendly and willing to help!

Staff was friendly. Ok for price and location for short walks to bazaan market and bangla and beach. They did clean well.
The downsides-
1- beds are very hard And older stained sheets. But very big beds
2- bathroom was tiny, so showering whole bathroom gets wet.
3- patio door doesn’t lock
4- small bugs in bathroom or floors from time to time.
5-pool area was dirty and not kept up on. Only reason I switched to this hotel was for pool… looked nothing like photos. Old in shambles… would’ve been easy for staff to keep that area clean and organized.
5- elevator not working but I knew that so was ok with it.

The young new resevation counter staff very poor work attitute. I wish him good morning. He did not reply. Never smile. After he check, paid him deposit. He just put the key on on the counter table and sit down. Never said welcome & how to our room. Still Never smile. Sour face. The worst resevation counter staff.

Not staying again.

Everyone at hotel was fantastic, except young boy at checkout. I gave him his hotel key back and he refused to give me my 500 baht back because I didn’t have receipt. It was on the counter of my room and when maids cleaned it was probably thrown away accidentally.

It’s not the 500 baht that matters to me. It’s the principle of I gave 500 baht for a key deposit and when I checked out, I gave him the key back and he refused to give me the money back.

I will not be staying there again. Up until then, I enjoyed it, but I refuse to accept this type of behavior.

Hotel had nothing to do with the photo they showed on the website the rooms were disgusting were in a different building where we had to cross the bridge so I cancelled my stay after I saw the real conditions so do not advise anyone to stay here They need to change their photos on their website

Hotel was nice, restaurant lovely. very good for the price. Only complaints are that the pool upstairs is always crowded and long wait to get a lounger, also, the hotel is super far from the main places in pa tong. Probably about 20 min walk which is a lot on a boiling hot day.

Very nice hotel. Looks new! Had a room with kitchen. Nice bright room, fair size with small balcony. Staff very friendly, always smiling and saying hello. Good priced restaurant at the hotel. Would definitely stay again when in Patong. Only stayed one night and found no faults. Would stay longer next time for sure

Stay AWAYYYY! False advertisement

This hotel is gross, false advertisement is an understatement. Hotel doesn’t have an elevator had to haul luggage up three flight of stairs. When we opened the door to the room the bed was right in front, no space to move. There were ants crawling on the bed, bed was HARD and a cardboard box horrible. The bathroom was the highlight NO PROPER SHOWER! Bathroom was a closet you had to shower on top of the toilet with a detachable shower head, disgusting! As soon as we saw the bathroom we walked back down and checked out 10 mins later. Searched for a hotel near by and booked last minute because this hotel was horrible. Stay clear of this hotel it’s disgusting!!

Gem of a Hotel

This is a Gem of a hotel!!
I have been to Patong 15 times & this is my first time staying @ Hallo Patong & it wont be my last.
From the time I checked in to the time I checked out the staff were so friendly & helpful.
It is walking distance to most amenities & 10 minute walk to the beach but with a nice little roof top pool the beach wasn't required.
I would recommend this hotel to anybody!!!

Was ok. Got a different room than what we had booked. Our bed was seperate (2 singles) amd when we asked for it to be changed reception said they'll do it in the morning and have no other rooms available. So next day, the beds were pushed together which was super uneven. The beds in general are terrible, sleep on the springs. Shower pressure is great, nice variety of breakfast, good wifi and the rooftop pool is nice. Would recommend if you want to stay cheap but want to get away from hostels/backpackers.

Never can say goodbye to Hallo Patong Hotel

Getting a good nights sleep is critical. There were flat cushions and higher pillows so a choice that was not offered elsewhere, so I made the shift and was so glad I did for this and many other reasons.. That I doubt I can do justice to within 1500 characters here. Customer service is taken to another level here. Booking trips, motorbike hire, where to get a game of pool in, in the wee hours, all no problem for their team of professional and friendly staff. No language barrier, nor any other as I was greeted and welcomed by some very wide smiles from people who loved their work. Such a refreshing and unexpected change from the more reputed places that over price and under-deliver. This for me was a working holiday. The convenience of being able to push out a few reports, watch the tuk tuks go by the street side restraunt, catered for by staff who were a sheer pleasure to be around was a dream come true for me. The vibe was infectious, and evident given the smiles and goodwill between my fellow patrons as well. No hesitation in recomending this place. For some headspace to do some creative work, to relax and catch some rays upstairs by the rooftop pool bar, combine both or just totally chillax. Standards of hygene here, were first rate.. Not something that can always be taken for granted in tropical climates. There is a comprehensive menu including a real breakfast with proper bacon and perfectly fried eggs with soft yolks, served all day.

Great value for money!! Clean and comfortable!

Check in was a breeze! And the staff very helpful! I booked a standard Double room but had a free upgrade to a deluxe room! it looks like it has been recently renovated, the rooms are freshly painted and totally spotless. Good air conditioning in the room, hot water, clean bedding and daily housekeeping. The hotels restaurant has a wide range of food and the pool catches a lot of sun. I was even able to book tours at the hotel front desk.=!
Perfect stay, would recommend this Hotel!!!

First room I was taken to was not fully prepared and was at the front of the hotel, hotel staff were very apologetic and gave me a room at the back. Staff very friendly and efficient. Room was fine for the price I paid.

Would make a good base for anyone on holiday in Patong

Nice hotel, shame about the building work going on

Hotel was easy to find, easy to check in to and the room was modern and clean with a good bathroom. Balcony over looked a new building that was under construction and noise started at about 8am. Breakfast was listed as being free at this hotel, but was told on arrival breakfast was not included. Hotels.com have reimbursed us the cost of our breakfast. Only real annoyance was the white, super bright LEDs on the AC unit that switched on and off as the compressor did waking us up. Found a sticker eventually to put over it.

A pleasant little budget priced hotel.

This hotel provided us with very well priced accomdodation in a convenient location. It was close to the central shopping area and reasonably close to Patong Beach. Our room was bright, clean and serviced daily. The staff, although speaking only limited English, were pleasant and helpful. We stayed ten nights and would happily stay there again if we were to return to Patong in the future.

room was like a cell. in photo it shows as if its larger. kettle had all black stains that come apart each time you boil new fresh water. water constantly dripping directly onto toilet bowl from plaster ceiling. told the staff to fix but they didn't. in the end the plaster started to change shape. its gonna collapse. the room stinks. every time i walk in the room-feel like vomiting from the stench. they must not obviously hygene clean the rooms. just dust off the tiled floors to look clean. pulled the bed away from the walls & saw lots of dust & yucky stains. i think the smell was generating from these locations. i could not stand the noise from the building next door. every day they were pouring concrete, hammer drilling, banging of metal beams. we get home very late. sometimes towards the morning. we go there to have fun. but cannot sleep during business hours. went there with my mate that had his own room. he was complaining about the smell, noise & size of room. we could not handle it & had too leave before check out date.horrible experience. we left & went to Rico's Hotel. just off Bangla road. best location & best of every thing that you could imagine. Definately will never go to HALLO again.

Takpoolen va fräsch, bara några få solstolar men vi va faktiskt nästan alltid ensamma ändå så vi va jättenöjda. Största minuset är att det är otroligt hög ljudnivå från vägen utanför. Låter som att man har balkongdörren öppen så svårt att sova utan öronproppar. Men väldigt trevlig personal!

Nice and clean room, fantastic restaurant staff

Very nice quiet little hotel a five minute walk from Bangla. Pool on the roof is small but not very busy, a lot of time I had it all to myself which was very nice. I felt very safe as a female solo traveler. Rooms toward the street slightly more noisy than if your room is toward the alleyway, but overall calm and quiet. Internet was good enough so that I could work remotely. Staff in the restaurant on ground floor was super nice, made me feel very well taken care of. They didn’t mind if I brought my laptop and worked off their slightly better WiFi either which I appreciated.

Der Tresor konnte nicht geöffnet werden.
Der Chef wollte es machen, hat aber die ganze Woche nichts gemacht.
Das Pool sieht auf den Foto wirklich gut aus.
Aber da will man nicht wirklich baden.
Alles ziemlich schmutzig.
Es ist gar nicht einladend. wir waren nicht in Pool Baden.
Schade. Da gäbe es noch viel potenzial das man ausschöpfen könnte.

Syntes generalt at Hallo Patong Hotel & Restaurant var godt til prisen.
i sær restauranten var jeg/vi rigtigt glade for.
der var et par dage hvor wifi ikke virkede og dækkede lidt dårligt fra vores værelse. men efter det blev lavet var det okay.
syntes det var rigtigt billigt i forhold til andre Hoteller i samme klasse.
det var godt nok et ældre hotel men i det store hele var det godt og billigt
