The hotel was fine but Hilton really nickle and dimed the experience to really diminish the stay. Because i booked a package through expedia none of my hilton honors amenities remained. No breaksat. No internet. No points. Nothing to make being a member worth ever returning for the exorbitant price point. Hallways smelled of mildew. Excercise room did not match photos it was significantly smaller and shared with a double tree property. 3 days was very pricey. For that much money it was very disappointing. I recommend stating at a non hilton brand

the best breakfast buffet I have had in a long time! The room was great. Nice and spacious with a balcony, ocean view (all rooms face the ocean). The pools were great and its just steps to everything in American Village. Highly recommend this hotel whether you're couple or a family.

It was a great experience. Close to the beach and American Village. You walk along the sea wall, watch the summer fireworks from your balcony, and enjoy their vast and diverse breakfast buffet. We enjoyed staying here and the staff was wonderful. They answered all of our questions and were so kind from our check in to our late room service deliveries to our check out.

The Hilton was fantastic. This area of Okinawa is very easy to get around. Lots of buses for getting out and around other places in Okinawa. This was an anniversary trip and I was able to work with the hotel in advance to setup the room with various decorations to surprise my wife. They went above and beyond what I had expected. The staff at the Hilton are simply fantastic. We have traveled to Okinawa before and we will again. I would 100% stay at the Hilton again. Thanks to the entire staff that helped me surprise my wife on our special day.

Everything was good. It was our first time and they gave us a free room upgrade. They even allowed us an early check in and gave us a fever patch upon realizing that our toddler was sick without us asking. You could ask for a thermometer from the front desk and also rent a stroller. Breakfast was also fantastic, with the attentive service staff offering me decaf coffee when she noticed I was pregnant. Overall a wonderful stay with no complaints at all. My toddler recovered promptly with some medicine and could explore American Village with us.

The Hilton Okinawa Chatan Resort is the best hotel to stay at in Chatan. You get what you pay for and they are worth every penny. Only caveat is the apps on the room TV, your sign on only lasts while you watch on the app. If you turn off the TV or pause the app for too long, or leave it to watch Japanese TV, you will have to sign back in. Has to do with security I was told, Not a big deal just watch Youtube or Netflix on your laptop, iPad, or iPhone.

Very nice hotel with excellent service. In the center of everything in American village including walking trails to the Chatan park and two small beaches. Great variety of food at breakfast. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. My only suggestions are for stroller covers since it rains so much during the rainy season and to have the small 'diaper genie' for rooms with babies. The little diaper bucket does not contain the smell very well.

We loved our stay here! The staff is so friendly and accommodating, and they speak excellent English! Pool was great, and we enjoyed the pool bar and food service. We also took advantage of the breakfast buffet, Italian restaurant, and room service. Everything was excellent! After two weeks in Japan, we oved having the English movies available on the TV at night as well. We really enjoyed walking around Depot Island and the American Village at night. Lots of shopping, dining, and drinking options right by the hotel. So fun! The only downside is the distance to the beach. The closer beach is not very nice, and Araha beach is about a 30-minute walk. But once you get there, it’s great :)

A good place to people watch and hang poolside. Convenient to get to American village. I don’t know if a pipe burst or there is construction going on currently, but one side of the resort smelled pretty bad- it was good overall.

When we checked in they upgraded us to an Executive Suite at no extra cost, which was fabulous because we had a patio view of the ocean! We even had access to the Executive Lounge on the 9th Floor. There is a laundromat on site as well as superior dining services both on the 3rd and 1st Floor. Overall an excellent stay.

I asked to add breakfast when I checked in and when I went to get the breakfast it wasn’t included. So frustrating while people are running around trying to look up stuff and I think I’ve paid for it already. Then I thought with a king room, I’d get the lounge and I was also told I didn’t have that perk either. So many little nickel and dime moments.

Public transportation access literally doesn't exist so Taxi or rented car are the best/only options.

Quality of the amenities doesn't match the rest of the hotel. Rather cheap choice of soap, shampoo, hairdryer, etc. so you may end up bringing your own or get something from the nearby convenience store.

There is a new hotel building in construction while i was visiting , which they should of mentioned or giving a notice While they didnt. Are you kiding me you paid for a city vew room but when you get there , all you see is literally An Another Hotel Is In construction infront of your window , blocking all the view! Telling yall , it is acrossing the street! So imagine how nasty is! Not only the view, you even hear all the construction noises! So talking about sound proof? You better have your own ear plug ready! Oh well , Lucky only during the daytime but until sunset! Lol! No joke! I called front dest, asking for a room change, they say they cant do it, and yes if i want to , request a fee! And they say they cant do nth about it! I mean yea may be they right, but the attitude is bad, they didntvthink it isna problem they not being honest when describing the hotel detailing, especially when you expect a city view ! They called itself a resort? Certainly no! No view no hospitality no nothing! But money! If they being a lil nicer then it is whole different story i guess! So conclusion, room detail descriptions is not matching the reality! You dun get what you pay for ! Thats it! If you want to give a try , then i suggest after 6-7month, prob the hotel across street is done building, but the view you getting is just another hotel front ! Big big front! So be cautious!

The location is good, walking distance to the shopping district. However, the room was not well maintained, found dust and black molds on the ceiling, which I wouldn’t expect to see in such a high end resort. The service of staff wasn’t great. Upon check in, the staff told me she could arrange two rooms with connecting doors with a “special” rate which I rejected. She ended up arranging two rooms located at the two ends of the building. She gave a cold face through out the whole check in process. I would never recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

When I arrive, they immediately help me with my baggage and I did not have to wait long to check in. The hotel is 5 years new. The check in manager (Stephen, I think) was excellent in English and he also told me places that I should go visit. The rooms are clean and it is spacious. The pools were great, and they also let you visit the Double Tree Hotel pool too. I was at the executive level 9 and I enjoyed the breakfast and the early evening snack bar. The best thing is I got to enjoy most of the Okinawa specialties here as well. It was a great experience. They provided unlimited towel service at the pools and no extra charges for the big floaties unlike other hotels. It was also free parking.

the stay was very pleasant and all is to close by Footwork.No problem at all, breakfast was Hugh and totally NOT ALL EAT ABLE because it was just to much ;-))
the Room was a bit smalltime and my 2 Teen Kids...actually it was a 2 bedroom and the just added in another twin Bed...Window Side Bed was to close to the Door.
Location around was a lot of Construction!it was not loud at all but from the Jet (US) they were absolutelyEar Crashing!!
We all enjoyed the Hotel,pool was a bit Cold but they got an Indoor Pool to...Me enjoy my 24 hours any Time Workout in the mini Fittnessroom which was just accros the Laundry Room also 24h.!

Outdoor pool area was inviting but the weather was not warm enough. Did take advantage of the indoor pool which was very enjoyable. Great location to walk to American Village and some local restaurants. If this is your desired area you will not be disappointed!

I stayed in the hotel in mid Feb 2019. It is conveniently located only 5mins walk to America Village with shops opens late. There are a large amount of parking spaces. The large windows in the lobby really catches our attention. The rooms are big and clean, with a stunning sea view. The staffs are very polite and speak fluent English.

I wish to come back during the summer time, it should be much more fun with the outdoor facilities open.
