A great place to stay, close proximity to Araha beach and the American Village. Staff were incredibly kind, helpful and very respectful. Rooms were clean and the view from the top floors is amazing. Plenty of great places to eat within walking distance. Will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Okinawa.

Staff were great and very helpful. Hotel really needs to be renovated, and staff at the hotel mentioned this would be happening soon. Dryer in the room was dripping water badly and did not work, but staff was prompt to send for a technician to repair it. The room is pretty clean and has a balcony with beautiful views of the sea. Can't beat the location; close to American Village, grocery stores and restaurants. This is my go to hotel when staying in Chatan.

All rooms have an ocean view with a small table & chairs on the balcony to relax. Our room was clean, comfy, and the AC worked great. Laundry & a small kitchen area in room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Quiet area with high walkability to local attractions. Coffee available in the lobby every morning. When it was time to leave, taxis were called for us. Overall, a really great experience for an extended stay or short visit!

Wonderful staff, close to the beach and American village. The facilities are clean & tidy. Even though we don't go on vacation to watch TV, it would have been nice to have at least ONE English speaking TV channel, so one could keep up with current affairs. Surprising, considering there's an American base adjacent to it with 19,000 servicemen and women! Overall a great place to spend a week in Okinawa!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The 24-hour front desk staff was consistently polite and helpful, and the view from our room was beautiful. While parking immediately in front of the building is limited, the secondary lot is a short walk away (less than 5 minutes). For us, the prime location and stunning views far outweighed this minor parking inconvenience.

The hotel is a bit older but the room was roomy. The AC works great. The beach view is nice. Staff are very friendly here and there’s free breakfast in the morning. There is free public parking in front of the hotel. Since the room is a bit holder, it’s not in top notch cleanliness shape. It’s walkable to American village and there is a beach nearby. I would stay again.

This was the perfect spot! I dont drive on vacay but the beach walk path went left to Araha and right to Sunset beaches. I was also able to walk to American Village with no issue. At night when i went to a couple of bar's I liked, I felt safe enough to walk alone(still kept my head on swivel). They had beach towels and free bike rental. The mini-kitchen and supplies were great. For those who prefer they had a washer/dryer in the unit. I would definitely recommend for a solo traveler!!

Nice view from the balcony

This place is located in a very convenient area close to the American village. Also the sea walk is right behind the hotel. A pretty nice view from the balcony and a walking distance of the public beach. The hotel also has a beach towel if you need it. Just ask to front desk. Bed is very comfortable and the room is clean. No bathtub, just a shower. The breakfast only has small pastries and coffee. The only downside is the parking space. There are only limited spots on-site. There is more parking behind the hotel and easy access from the hotel. This parking is for the park visitor( sea walk), no problem to park your car there overnight. Parking is open from 7am to 10 pm.

Rooms were very outdated- even for the current rack rate/ room class. Bed was extremely soft, not sure if by design it age (given how dated the property is, my bet would be age). Bed linens, however, were extremely soft and a pleasure to sleep in (once you have sunk into your sleeping position). Breakfast was simple (3 mini complimentary pastries) with a nice coffee/ espresso machine to self serve. Staff was really nice. Only major ding comes for the two small “palmetto bugs “ in our room (part due the course given the proximity to ocean in a tropical destination?). All in all, this place could certainly use a nice makeover, it’s about time.

This is such a great location to walk to American Village for lots of shopping and dining options. The hotel itself is new and, while the rooms are compact, they provided everything needed for for a 12 night stay. We enjoyed the convenience of the washer and dryer and small but very functional kitchen. Coffee and pastry were provided each day in the lobby. The staff was great at providing ideas for sightseeing and instruction on how to use the bus system. We stayed on the top floor and woke up to an unobstructed view of the ocean each morning and had beautiful sunsets from the balcony at night. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Our room had a view of the ocean and the hotel was walking distance from American Village. A perk was we could see the stars very clearly in the sky which I don’t see often living in the city.

I didn’t get much sleep because the mattress was sinking in the middle. It felt like I was sleeping on a hill. Other than that, service was great and there are free bikes to use on the walking/bike path by the waterfront.

I’ve nothing but raving satisfaction for the service of the crew starting from Marie and Abe who were always on hand for to answer every query you might have. Staff fluent English speakers and of course excellent Japanese. Plenty of dining options all within a 15 to 30 minute walk radius. And the beachside sunset view is to really look forward too. Definitely coming back! Give Marie and Abe a raise, they’re an asset to the hotel.

Used the rooms washing machine and found MOLD / FUNGUS on the clothes after washing.. Reported such to the front desk, No response what so ever from hotel management.. I spent my own money to purchase a gallon of Bleach and continuously run the washing machine with bleach in the water until the MOLD / FUNGUS was removed.... The stuff at the hotel was friendly and approachable, and informative. We wil choose this hotel for next stay again, only request we have is to have coffee service earlier in the morning. We were completely jet rugged for a while and it was hard to find a good cup of coffee first thing in the morning.

My fiance and I were on the top floor and the views were so incredible. Room was big and the in-suite laundry was a bonus. Definitely would stay here again!

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. If we return to Okinawa, we will stay here again. The staff was wonderful, the room was clean and the view was amazing. It is also a 3 minute walk to the swimming beach and close to many restaurants.

What I Like : Great location as it's walkable distance to American Village and Araha Beach. While the room size is not big, it's has all the things we need as a family of 3. We loved the balcony and beach front view. SImple breakfast was included every morning. There was also free parking space within the premises. The staffs that we met during our stay all spoke good English and very courteous in offering excellence service.

Area for Improvement : Perhaps they can provide larger supply of laundry detergent in bottle instead of small packets for environmental and convenience reason. For longer stay (3 nights and more), I wish they could offer a quick room cleaning service. The additional parking space (about 150 meters away from the hotel) could be better maintained as I encountered dog/cat faeces on the parking ground with lingering smell.

At first I was a little skeptical about the bldg as it looked more like a one bedroom apt setup, but it was actually an great stay for us. No carpet, but the water pressure and washer/dryer in the room made it super convenient for all the outdoor activities we planned around the area. The best part was the beautiful view of Araha Beach.

Have some english channels for news, and a couple of kids english channels like teen nick or the one you can watch sponge bob. For kids. You do that and it will be super.👍other than this I had no issues.
