Great choices of items for breakfast. Recommend to pay RM10/stay for the premium parking on level 3A. Bathroom in are not very clean. Alot of soap residue/stains all around. Pretty convenient to walk to Jonker Street. There is nothing much at Shore Mall, which is attached to the hotel.

Everything about the hotel was average. The hotel's best days were clearly over as is it's obvious decline through lack of care and maintenance. TV was faulty and had to be replaced, pool area and deck chairs were dirty. The adjoining shopping mall was just sad and in an even faster state of decline.

The hotel room was clean and well equipped. Its location beside the river front along with its pool area had a nice ambience. Service and buffet breakfast was great. Probably the only downside is waiting for the lift especially during peak hours. It was a bit slow. Overall, great hotel.

A lot to improve hotel

the cleanliness needs to improve, the floor super sticky, very uncomfortable to walk in the room, toiletries provded are low standard like those 2 3 start hotel, no quality.

the 9th floor facilities need to improve and clean up, a few broken chair still leave it as it is, tennis court net :(. Please do have 24hrs Gym entrance, we business trip can have early walk out and left hotel before sun rise please

Negatives were poor plumbing in room (v. limited to no hot water), lack of information on property (no folder in room nor info' channel on TV) and noise (loud speaker from local mosque and disconcerting explosions at midnight (fireworks ?))

Staff very friendly and especially the security staff were very nice and welcoming. The rooms need revamping. They are tired, door jamming, light switches not working, mould in bathroom. No seats out on balcony. Lack of PowerPoints to plug things in. Decent location. No description of what the hotel ammenities are.

Everything you’d expect expect from a 4 star hotel!
Only thing is the sauna & gym were shared by Swiss garden residences so on weekends it can get quite busy.
Some of the equipment in the gym could be better but then again you don’t melaka to spend time in the gym 😂

We check in quite late during CNY vacation and last min choose Swiss Garden to have a good sleep after whole day tiring hanging out, our room is twin bed room, one of the bed when we want to sleep and flip over the pillow, the pillow is dirty with dark spot, and many long hairs. Disspointed to see 4 star hotel with this type of cleaniness. At the end, two of us sleep in another bed as we noticed that quite late on 11.30pm,dont feel the right time to call housekeeping and change room. And, front desk during evening time need to enhance training as dont feel friendly at all during check in time. Others concierge and restaurant staff service is good and friendly and attendive.

Despite the newly renovated hotel, however the toilet stinks and there’s algae all around the corner. The kids swimming is definitely not a safe place for kids because the tiles were broken, you can see the bits and pieces of tiles floating around and there’s alot of algae on the sides and even on the ground of the swimming pool. Will not recommand the kids swimming pool. Breakfast were not much of choices to choose from but it’s still a wide spread of simple breakfast.

Worth the money

Stay was nice. We got a executive king room on the 29th floor. Breakfast was a small spread that kept repeating over the days so we got tired of it after a day. Location wise was not bad for the fact that it was a shopping mall on the first floor, with a few eateries and convenience stores 5mins away.

We stayed for 2 nights at Swiss-Garden. We are pleased with the hotel overall, customer service are very good, however, the only setback is its noise (loud morning prayer at 5 am) that woke us up every morning without fail. This is a negative impression that would not be pleasant to tourists.

Extra towels are chargeable. Not a big deal but if u are travelling with kids and they only provide 2 towels per room, its a bit morale killer to pay for extra towels. Also, breakfast can be more variety. Other than that, location is great and staff are friendly.

We booked a 3 people room, however the hotel only provided 2 towels. When requested for extra 1 towel, the hotel was asking RM10 charge. They advised it's the hotel policy to provide 2 towels only per room. It really opened my eyes that how could a 4 star hotel operated in such poor policy.

The hotel is next to a mall but the mall is dead. There is a Starbucks downstairs. Free parking was inconvenient because has to access thru the mall. So we decided to pay for the valet parking. The towel has yellowish stain. Lack of mirror, the only mirror is in the toilet and the lighting is not bright enough to do the make up. Lounge was closed during the stay.

Traffic to hotel lobby was bad (one lane only). Bath tub was leaking and stopper was stuck. Wardrobe was falling apart. Safe has no batteries and also not working. Fridge was not cold at all and leaking. Towels were old and got stains. No movie channels to watch on TV. Not many shops at shopping centre next door. Water at the water playground didnt look clean… etc etc………

Hotel is not well maintained, furnitures and carpet stained and starting to give way. Overall condition is slightly dirty. The TV doesn't work for many of the channels, table lamp also not functioning well. The toilet is especially dark and not enough lighting. The towels provided are so old they look like they has been in used for the last 5 years.

Checked in at 3pm.smooth process.was informed that towel not available upon check in.called housekeeping 3 times but the answer was hotel ran out of towels n had to wait for it from outside.delay due to heavy traffic.got to bought from DIY.no mirror in the room.tv channel also was not variety.towels were provided at 10pm without hair towel-small one.overall was a horrible n dissapointed staycation.lookin for better services in future.mirror in the room is a must!other than d only 1 in the toilet.do consider my view n comments.thank you.

Overall is acceptable based on the amount that we paid (RM140++). However, if the hotel is ranking 4.5 star, I don't think so.

The property is nice place to stay with kids so that they can go to swimming pool. Breakfast also good. Room spacious. You need to set your mind that this hotel is popular and you might face the delay of check-in because the room is not ready and also takes time to get the elevator from the G floor to your room floor.

What was good:
It’s a affordable 4 star rated hotel.
Big and spacious.
Location is close to Jonker and many walkable attraction.
Kids friendly with kids waterpool and play stuff.
What was bad:
Quality of interior fittings seems cheap. Bathroom door is hard to close, lack proper bathroom fittings like hooks. The end of the tower holder came off. Seems cheap quality. Worse off is the bathroom shower floor will flood when used. Surrounding mall seems dead and lifeless.

Lovely hotel walking distance from everything. Fantastic pools (yes, plural), great sized bedrooms and decent sized balconies. Power supplies by bedside, separate shower cubicle and (decent sized) bath

Some minor quibbles -

Furniture on balcony would be great (so you can sit out on them)

Internet is free but limited to only a small number of devices (which is easily exceeded in today’s world)
