Very near, convenient and walking distance to Jonker Street. Hotel parking available in front of hotel. Reasonable price for hotel room and services, 2 vending machines provided at lobby.

Hotel room sound proof is weak, as we can hear next room conversation and water sound.

Overall is good.

just ok for 1 nite stay. room is small. but cleanliness ok except when we arrive, we opened mini bar there was food not removed. the stench unbearable for a while. we were at third floor. view temple’s backyard. there was one dog behind the room bark frequently during daytime luckily at nite didnt hear. location ok can go many interesting places on foot.

The whole building needs total upgrading. I am a frequent traveler and i never experience this kind of accomodation until this time. Hallmark Leisure Hotel in Malacca is so filty, the hallway and our room smells nicotine from smoking. The carpet looks yucky and smelly. I requested extra towel and i have to pay 20 Ringgit. The door in our room does not lock properly at the beginning. All in all is a terrible experience. Thank goodness is only for one night. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great location, good reliable service

Location was fantastic, 5 minutes walk to Jonker street and night market.
We drove up from Singapore, car park was right in front of hotel, within hotel driveway.
Hotel is ageing, could be cleaner. Breakfast is ok, not fancy. There are always hotel staff around. We called for housekeeping to open the safe, the person appeared within 5 minutes

The hotel is in a good location near the old city. The are several eateries nearby.
The breakfast provided is fair compared to other hotels in the city. This hotel could use a renovation. The fascilities, though okay for the room rates, are looking a bit tired.

The hotel was alright although I expected more prettier sight judging from the photos that was posted on the expedia app. However it's comfortable and clean. Budget friendly and convenient. My boyfriend and I had a really relaxing stay.

Staffs: The front desk staffs were not very friendly. The cafe staffs, however, made our stay pleasant..good service at the cafe. Food was good too.

Good location, but, the stay is average.
Windows can't closed entirely and there was crack, as such, at night the air conditioner system outside was making too much noise for a light sleeper.

A noisy place

Its too noisy n i cant sleep well...can hear the sound from outside eventhough the window is closed. The window is not able to close tightly and we can hear people talking downstairs. Opposite the hotel there is a carwash shop opens till midnight! Can hear people vacumming car...it's too noisy!

We are not satisfy with the \" no value for money\".

Area for improvements, The Management for this hotel has to directly involve in the improvements area, the lack of supervision work could be caused the lacking of Cleanness, bathroom door - no lock, smelly, staff not pleasing/attitude.
Upon check in, the receptionist not ready with online booking reference number, and need customer to provide the online booking reference instead of able to track or get ready printed hard copy to serve the customer. Is time waste and low efficiency service.

Be Careful Of Floods On The Road Outside The Hotel

Everything was acceptable being a budget hotel. Breakfast was much more decent compared to my last visit about 2 years ago.

Car parking lots are very much limited, but they will divert you to park at a nearby (about 50m away) private car park if those directly outside the hotel are full. The hotel will also reimburse the parking charges at the private car park.

Should there be a heavy storm, do note that the 2 road intersections in front of the hotel can get quite badly flooded, probably due to the poor drainage in the vicinity.

Affordable hotel with sufficient amenities

Pros:
• near jonker street night market, melaka river & many tourist attractions
• good room size (triple room) with private toilet facility
• affordable price that comes with breakfast
• provide baggage keeping service after check-out
• Air-con in working condition

Cons:
• no shower curtain hence bathroom can be very wet after shower
• thin walls
• limited breakfast dishes (nonetheless acceptable for the price paid)

Park ur car at hotel and can walk around 400m to reach jonker walk (performance stage).
Facilities quiet old and such as mini fridge, door of connecting, power socket, wifi connection are problem. The only one vending machine at lobby also malfunction, u have walk for 5 min to nearest 7-11 shop for buy snacks.
Except the facilities, rest is ok

Hallmark Melaka needs to be improved

The hotel wasn't exactly as shown on the Internet when I did the booking, here are some flaws I noticed during my stay for one day:
1- The hotel wasn't clean in general.
2-The room wasn't clean, with lots of hair on the carpet and even a cockroach found on the electric water kettle.
3- No TV channels except a very unclean picture of TV3 local channel.
4- The breakfast was so limited and basic foods were served.
5- The wireless Internet was so weak, that you can't browse or use mobile apps.
6- The water sink in toielet was dripping water.

On other side, the beds were clean and comfortable to sleep with a good air conditioner.

Everything seems to be Okay... not what I hv read

I just came back from Melaka. I saw many feedbacks regarding the counter staff. Yeah.... True enough that the 2 Malay ladies didn't want to talk much but after all, they were still helpful. Breakfast was Ok.... limited choice.
Best location. Just minutes to Jonker Street. Cleanliness wise, will need to improve but after all, still okay. You pay what you get and to me, is already very good already.
