Everything about our stay was outstanding. Service was impeccable. Our room was very large and clean, complimentary snacks were much appreciated. The bathroom was clean - perhaps a bit tight on space - but travel amenities were thoughtfully selected and useful (L’Occtaine products). Hotel location is excellant. Note: you are very close to the Jonker Night Market, so if you need absolute quiet for a good night sleep, this may be a factor for you to consider. Breakfast was perhaps the only place where I felt things were not on the same standard as the rest of the hotel, don’t get me wrong, it was absolutely adequate and service was excellant. I did enjoy the roti canal and the latte that I ordered, but my husband’s french toast was lack luster and the other offering were average.
Overall however, this hotel has restored my faith in Malaysian hotels, simply outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend it.

Very happy with this hotel. Beautiful, very clean and great service. Walking distance to alot of places, at the same time insulated from all the noise. They have a really nice cocktail bar on the street level. Only small comment about the quality of the breakfast, the items could have been made with a bit more care (baked beans were not heated up, the steamed buns and dumplings were not hot. Other than that it was a pretty good selection.

The hotel was a lovely and comfortable hotel. Stylish and great breakfast. The beds and linen were super comfy and the staff attentive. The turn down service was a nice addition and so were the complimentary treats. If I had to make one complaint, it would be the windows to our room which seemed a bit small. But since we spent most of our days sightseeing anyway, that wasn’t a huge issue. The location was convenient and yet not overly central which was great.

All the staffs whom I cannot remember their names are all extremely helpful ! Bed was so comfy that I wish I stayed longer. Breakfast was such a joy. The hainan chicken rice was one of the best I eaten. Better than any of the chicken rice shop in jonker street itself.Roti Canai was so good that we had it at every breakfast ! We will be back for more !

From the reserved parking outside the front door (on a very busy narrow street) in order to offload luggage, to the cool interior, to the warm reception everything was perfect. (not something I say often, if at all). We had the last room available and I would come back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at Liu Men Hotel Melaka. The deco is so…nice. Love the Hang Tuah room with the high ceiling and we were so lucky to be given the room with the garden deck. The staffs at the reception, Lulu and Ray are lovely and so are the other staffs too eg breakfast area etc. The beddings and pillows are very comfortable. We love the Loccitane toiletries and thank you for the complimentary snacks and souvenir. We would love to stay again.

This property is located at the end of Jonker walk which makes it very convenient if you are driving. You will not be stuck in the road closure of Jonker Walker during weekends and it is easy to access parking during peak hours. At the same time it is a walking distance to a lot of major attractions such as Jonker Walk, river walk, Stadhuys, heritage and a lot of Nyonya cuisines. Love the complimentary snacks and drinks which are replenished daily. Room was sound proof, noise from street level was not noticeable. Staffs were friendly and very helpful. Check out the Mamee Jonker walk and check whether the Mamee noodle factory is allowing visitors.

You love the black and white shimmering floor. Will return. The only complaint is the service of food is too slow.

Whatever you do, do not accept downstairs room 07. Despite my making it clear i wanted an upstairs room, I was met with a blank stare at check-in. There is no way you cannot hear what is going on in the dining area immediately outside.
Regarding staff service, the young chap at reception was most unhelpful. When I requested for help with unloading my bags from the car, he would not move a step beyond the hotel entrance and only from there, would he help move the bags in. I guess its not his duty to help with the bags.
On the plus side, the breakfast is very tasty though the selection rather limited. Some of the staff do try but mostly they do not engage in small talk if they can help it
So on the whole, it is not exactly value for money and some of the staff do need additional training.

It was such an amazing experience from the time I booked this hotel which was 1 month earlier. Customer Service was very attentive and helpful to all my demands and changes as I have booked 3 rooms for myself and family and had many fussy requests to deal with the hotel to ensure our stay is smooth and I am soooo happy that I choose this over others. Check-in was fast and room was great! Even the pineappletarts was perfect. Toiletries are well thought off and they use a very good luxury brand. Cannot thank this hotel enough for the hospitality they provided us. Will come again soon!
