An excellent experience .. Initially there was a delay answering my emails but this was soon sorted and the arrival details were good ( access to apartment etc ) The apartment was centrally located near the train station and was handy for all the city attractions .. very clean and well maintained.. highly recommended!!

Time for a refresh

Our short stay in Malaga City was lovely, plenty to see and lots of bars and restaurants to choose from, there are ample cafe’s in the Soho area for breakfast. We have stayed at the Life Apartments a number of times, this time the accommodation felt in need of a refresh, decor was tired and facility’s and equipment were well used. Air conditioning didn’t work so had to use good old fashion window ventilation which meant it was very noisy late into the evening and from early morning.

The apartment was very well situated and spacious with good facilities expected in an self contained unit. The only issues I had were with the check in where one has to call a number to be let in to the reception area. I had to wait in the street for 30mins as no-one was at the reception. There should be an intercom or better way to check-in.

Also the apartment would be better if there was shower gel in the shower area not just in the sink dispenser.

Beautiful apartments great location

Fantastic stay at beautiful apartments with cleaner rooms, great facilities including a terrace with sunbeds. Aircon was adequate, noticed was cooler at nighttime than during day but was cooler than outside. Very friendly owners and very useful for directions and places to see and eat at. Apartments themselves were a little tricky to find, found the street easily but the door for the apartments is right next to a restaurant and wasn’t the most obvious but the restaurant were super helpful in getting us to the right place! We got fresh towels half way through too which was nice! We had to take our own rubbish to the disposal bins which was a little unusual but not awful and we managed to take most of it away. Overall couldn’t fault it really! In a very good location only 15/20 minutes away from the main attractions and the airport too

Nice, bohemian area close to centre, but not too close, five minutes to centre, fifteen to beach walking.Cafes and restaurants below building. Clean apartment, with plenty of clean towels, and bedding provided . Would recommend to anyone who wants some independence over the confines of a hotel.Had no problems whatsoever.

My partner and daughter stayed in this two bedroom apartment for a short trip to Malaga. Roomy and clean it was perfectly located for the metro from the airport and for the old town of Malaga. Would stay there again.

we paid too much for what we enjoyed - think it was 350.00 ?? for 3 nights. we were out all day and only came back to change, we should have booked a hotel with bar and restaurant maybe. won't rent an apartment again !

The day before our holiday Life Apartments contacted us to find out what time we would be arriving in Malaga, so that someone would be there to greet us. Took the local train from the airport to the central station, apartment 100 metres from there and so easy to find. Although we could not have the apartment until 4pm, Sarah met us early to do the paperwork and arrange for our bags to be looked after whilst we explored Malaga, therefore wasting no time. The apartment itself was clean, roomy and great to 'live in'. It is noisy late at night and early in the morning, but that is inner city living and it was brilliantly positioned for all that we wanted to do. Sarah & Maria were both attentive and friendly and cared that we had a good time. Well done Life apartments, our best ever city break. We will be back.

Lovely central location

The apartment was very centrally located, so we were able to walk everywhere within the city. We were 3 friends travelling together and all thoroughly enjoyed having such a super place to call our base for a week. The apartment was spotless and the staff did all they could to ensure any questions and queries we had were addressed.
The only small drawback is that being in such a central location is that it is noisy at night and in particular on Friday and Saturday evenings - take ear plugs.

Lovely apartment but noisy

We arrived early and Maria was very helpful and friendly, the apartment was ready so they let us check in and she gave us lots of tips for things to do. I would happily stay at another apartment run by this company. The apartment itself was well decorated, lovely high ceilings, clean and matched up to the photos on the website. The location itself was very good as it was easy to walk around Malaga to all of the main attractions from here.
I travelled with my sister and daughter and so I slept in the bedroom that had the single beds. I have to say the bed itself wasn't great the mattresses are sitting on a flat base and so they move easily.
The main reason I would not return here to this apartment however is because of the noise at night. The window in the main bedroom would not close properly and when we told the staff about this they just said 'don't worry we know you didn't break it' when the issue was that it let in a lot of noise at night so it was very difficult to sleep in that room. The noise was a bit better in the twin room however it was still noisy at particular times due to the traffic - it doesn't seem that busy a place at first but at certain times it gets very busy and there is a lot of tooting at each other. It is above a restaurant too so that might be why it was noisy at certain times. If you have ear plugs or are used to noise at night and early in the morning then this wouldn't put you off and is a lovely apartment.

Beautiful large apartment

Lovely apartment with everything we needed. Well positioned for waterfront area, shopping centre and train station. Spent 3 days wondering around Malaga with no need to go further. Views from the castle area spectacular and had a lovely walk back down to the town. Inside of the cathedral is amazing and the indoor market is well worth a visit. When it was time to relax a dip in the sea was perfect.

We found this an ideal central base for our visit to Malaga. We arrived early but Carlos took care of our luggage and phoned us when the apartment was ready, he also provided a map and information about the city.

We did not arrive until one day after the booking so we paid for 2 nights and had one night. Nice flats but reception is only open at certain times and they do not answer the phone sometimes. Modern comfy flat with everything you need. Over priced at over £100 per night in December the low season

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Carlos was an amazing host. He let us know about where to go and great restaurants. In fact he walked our entire party to the restaurant. He set us up for a Flamenco show that was incredible. The hotel is close to everything and we loved the cafe right out the front door with amazing coffee and comfortable seating.

Stayed in Malaga for a week. Apt was close to everything. Max 20 min walk was to Musee Russo, everything else 5 to 10 min.

Hotel was clean, modern, and well equipeed. Beds were comfortable and everything needed for a short stay on hand. Bank across the street, restaurant on ground level, store across the street 100 yds away, parking on far corner.

Would go and stay in this apt again.

Good standard of accommodation in a great location

The apartments are in a great location just 2 minutes walk from the Malaga-Centro Alameda metro station (which is on the direct line just 20 minutes from the airport) and a few minute’s walk from Mercado Central Atarazanas (well worth a visit for food shopping and dining), the harbour and major tourist sites. Carlos is very welcoming and able to provide lots of useful information on places to go and places to eat. We stayed in apartment 1402 which is compact but well appointed and kitted out with everything you need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and there was a good supply of clean towels. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and there is a plentiful supply of hot water for showers and washing up. We had a nice outside terrace where we could enjoy the morning sun over breakfast.

These large apartments have every facility you might need - large fridge, dishwasher, microwave etc. The beds, bedding and towels are immaculate. The terrace is a lovely area to admire the view or sit in the sun on the loungers. The Owner will meet you and help you with any questions you may have or any information you need and do everything he can to ensure you have a good stay. The Old Town with its beautiful Cathedral and many restaurants and bars are a five minute walk away.

Fantastic stay in a wonderful apartment

My girlfriend and I stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with a large terrace. All amenities were supplied including iron and ironing board, hair dryer, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer. The apartment was very clean and was more than big enough for the two of us. The terrace was outstanding and got the sun all day, maintaining its warmth in the evening. The apartment is in a very attractive 200-year-old building situated in a very good location, across the road from a well-stocked convenience store, 5 minutes walk from the central train station and within walking distance of all major attractions; we didn't use transport at all around the city. There's a restaurant on the ground floor of the building offering good food and drink from early morning until midnight.
The manager, Carlos, was very helpful and attentive. Due to airport delays we arrived much later than expected, but Carlos stayed long after he would've normally gone home in order to greet us and was still happy to provide us with advice on local attractions. This won't be our last visit to Malaga or Life Apartments Alameda Colon.

Great city centre hotel.

Karina emailed on the morning of our arrival asking when we would arrive so that she could meet us at the apartment. This ensured that we didn't need to worry about gaining access ( there isn't a manned reception as it's only a small building). She was there as promised and check in was speedy. We had her number so could call if needed (we didn't need to) We loved the apartment and its location. We felt that the beds were a little hard for our liking but that's a personal thing. It was noisy though due to being above a restaurant and a busy street. This didn't bother us much but those with younger children may have problems.

The apartments are placed within small walking distance to city centre, all attractions, harbour and beach.
The main market,the Picasso museum,the Revello de Toro museum,the bishops palace and the roman theater are all within walking distance and well worth a visit. A guided walking tour through malaga is a must. The automobile museum can easily reached by bus. To visit the castle it's a good idea to go there by bus and walk back to town to take in the beautiful scenary.

Perfect Malaga Apartment

Fantastic modern apartments in central Malaga. Very safe area and on a really nice street, with a superb restaurant La Deriva on the ground floor, a small supermarket just down the street. The three of us stayed in a one bedroom on the top floor, with a sofa bed in the living room. It also had a balcony of around 5ft by 15ft, which had 2 deckchairs and a patio set and had the sun in the morning and until around 14:00.
The apartment is in a fantastic location to explore Malaga, which really is a beautiful city. Except for the Gibralfaro Castle everywhere is easily walkable and the restaurants, beaches, bars and new port are just stunning.
Carlos the manager of the apartments is really helpful, with suggestions for restaurants and tips for the city. He also arranged our 5am airport transfer which turned up 15 mins early and was a great help with our luggage, brilliant ... we will be back!

Der Empfang war herzlich, die Gegend ideal, um den Strand und die Altstadt zu erreichen. Sie haben auch meinen Wunsch nach einem Balkon auf der ruhigeren Seite berücksichtigt. Die Wohnung ist in Ordnung, aber es gäbe einige Reparaturen, die gemacht werden müssten, wie zum Beispiel der Wasserhahn in der Küche, der kaum noch hält, ich traute mich kaum, ihn zu berühren, aus Angst, er könnte ganz kaputt gehen. Auch das Badezimmer müsste überprüft werden aber nichts Ernstes. Bettwäsche Ok.

Zentrumsnähe, Lage ,Bahn, Bus, Einkauf, Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten alles problemlos per Fuss erreichbar ! Dachappartement relativ ruhig mit Blick auf Stadtzentrum.
Parkhäuser in der Nähe ca. 25 Euro pro Nacht !

Centrally located, spacious, nicely furnished and perfectly clean. The beds were comfortable. The staff at the reception was very helpful and provided also valuable information for public transportation and places to see. The kitchen and associated equipment is basic but that was ok for us as we did not use it at all. No toiletries provided, just liquid soap and dish wash up liquid. The only real disadvantage of this apartment is that the traffic along the street was quite noisy in the morning (not an issue in the evening and at night, just after 7.00) Overall I would still rent it again should I come to Malaga in the future.

Die Appartements sind sehr zentral gelegen, von wo aus man vieles zu Fuss erreichen kann. Sie sind sauber und nett eingerichtet. Im EG befindet sich ein gztds Restaurant, wo man auch frühstücken kann. Die Küche benutzten wir nicht. Der Strassenlärm ist in den Wohnungen gut zu hören. Ich habe schon 2 mal hier gewohnt und sehr zufrieden.

Glimrende lejlighed med 2 soveværelser og mulighed for sengepladser til 5 personer. Vi havde ikke balkon. Ligger i et område tæt på hhv. centralstationen og centrum af Malaga. Mange restauranter og supermarkeder i lokalområdet. Vi fandt det rimeligt stille. Man skal selv sørge for viskestykke, shampoo, badesæbe. Der er opvaskemaskine, men vi kunne ikke fylde den, så lettere at vaske op i hånden. TV med mange stationer, også lidt på engelsk. OK internet. Fik mulighed for at aflevere bagagen om morgenen, da der først var adgang kl.16.

The service from Maria and Sara was excellent. They organised pickup and drop off in the airport and as we were arriving late 01 in the morning they also organised for som water and fruit to be in the apartment on time of arrival and also provided directions for latenight open restaurants etc. Overall we are very happy with the apartment and location and especially the service by Maria and Sara
