Fantastic location in the heart of the city, great choice of bars and cafes around. 10 mins walking to railway station. Clean room although only very small window looking outward to back courtyard area. Staff very polite. Provided an electric kettle on request.
Terrific restaurant attached to Hotel, a must to visit, best tapas we had in Malaga, highly recommended A++++

The location is exceptional, within walking distance of public transport and major attractions, and easily accessible by car. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, and the bathroom had been recently renovated. The reception area had a soapy smell, but it wasn’t present in the room. The hotel delivers great value.

We were first given a small room on the 5th floor, very cramped with no windows except one on the ceiling. I talked to the lady upfront to give us another room. At first she said they were full but I insisted and reminded her that I booked this room over 5 months ago and expect better room specially since we are checking in early. She finally gave us a room on the 4th with a window and not as cramped thought still small. The hotel location is perfect with everything within walking distance. Our room was relatively quiet given the location. Overall if you are not staying in your room much and want a place to sleep and shower this is a good choice but avoid 5th floor.

This hotel has an excellent location. It is cleaned and safe. The receptionists were amazing. Javier, Victor, Elena and the others I forgot were super friendly. The cafeteria part of the restaurant serves delicious breakfast. Alejandro and his brother Andres run the cafeteria and they took good care of us every morning. I highly recommend this hotel.

I booked a double room for one person and I was given a single room with queen bed - 9sqm at most. I tried to resolve the issue both at the reception and via Hotels.com. But my room was not changed. Hence such review. The good point of the room was comfortable mattresses and a powerful air conditioning. The location is ofcourse very good.

It’s just across the street from the rim of the city center but still in a great area for restaurants and some great morning coffee spots. It’s a few blocks from main market and walking distance to the beach and marina.

Brilliant choice for location and value

An excellent central location (and only 2 mins walk from the station) with extremely helpful and welcoming staff and very comfortable rooms. Breakfast was pay-as-you-go in the lovely little adjoining cafe - and that is certainly to be highly recommended, very reasonable prices and excellent food.
A great choice of hotel and great value for money; we'd certainly stay there again if or when we make a return visit to Malaga.

I booked this room on the fly and didn't have particularly high expectations. The kid on reception was nice and helpful, the location is really central, and the room was clean and decent enough at the price.

After dark, there are blue illuminations around the light switches that do not switch off so the room is never dark. Additionally there is not much soundproofing between you and the room above. The couple in the room above were enjoying themselves immensely. They enjoyed themselves at least twice in the night, and then twice more early in the morning. Good luck to them I say, I wish I still had the energy!

So maybe not the best place for a light sleeper, but otherwise fine.

Before we arrived we had asked for an early check in, but a room was not ready. We had requested a room with room with a bath,and were told by Booking that all the rooms had baths. We were shown a room with a shower only, no bath, which we refused. We were staying there fror 15 days. We were then shown a room with a bath but not the same as the room we booked. We accepted that only because it had a bath. The room had 4 single beds, only 1 chair, no dresser, or drawers, and hardly any space to move. We were not please about that for our long stay.
The hotel had a terrace deck that would have been good to relax in the sun, but it was nearly blocked off, difficult to find, and was used to dry the hotel's laundry.
What a waste or valuable space, especially when it had a water view !! It should be used to give guests a more comfortable space. Bad businness decision for the hotel.

Hotel is in a great location central to everything. But that’s about the only good thing. Before arrival called hotel to let them know we will be checking in very late and asked if the she spoke English, upon asking the women hung up on me called again and she did it again. At check in the gentleman was great no issues. Rooms were tiny no room to even move with bags. Lacking amenities as a simple iron. Women at front desk super rude never said hello or anything to you and always gave us dirty looks. Would visit Malaga again but would not stay here.

This hotel had an excellent location within walking distance to the centre, the port and malagueta beach. The accommodation is fairly basic, but it is likely that you will not be spending lots of time in the hotel and will be out exploring the wonderful sights of Malaga. The rooms were very clean and there was a housekeeping service daily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a coffee shop within the hotel, but as mentioned, there is access to lots of great cafes and restaurants within short walking distance. The hotel also had free WiFi. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

It was very well situated to get a taxi or walk to the beach or walk to the historical center. I'm glad I stayed here. Many excellent restaurants are within a five minute walk and the beach promenade is 20 minutes walking slowly in the shade, out of the heat of the sun.

This is a centrally located hotel within walking distance of the old city centre. The rooms are tiny - I wouldn't stay here for more than a night or two. It is within walking distance of the beach as well through a lovely central park Staff were friendly and the room was clean.

I liked the proximity to old town, the cathedral and the Picasso museum. What I didn’t like: Stayed two nights. First night was on the first floor. The room smelled like sewage at night. The man at reception said that happens sometimes on the first floor during the summer. He came up to the room to spray some chemical into the toilet and sink but it didn’t help. He wouldn’t give us a new room. We called Expedia and they helping either. The next day there was a nice lady at reception that offered us a room change.

The location was fine - it was easy to walk to the market and other sites. What was disappointing was that the cafeteria/bar didn't appear to be open, so there was no ability to get a coffee in the morning (there is no coffee/tea in rooms or in the lobby). The mosquitoes in Malaga were out in full force, and the air conditioning was insufficient for the room - both of us sweated nonstop most of the night, so sleep wasn't very restful. The rooms are very small, and our's had a pole in the middle of it. Only one person can fit into the bathroom at once. Nice little hotel

Nice little hotel in a great area of town. I had a very small single room with single bed facing inside. Just enough room if you have only a single piece of luggage. I was comfortable. The only downside is the hallways and stairs etc are all tiles. So sound reverberates. I had a very early flight and tried to go to sleep early. Due to people coming and going I heard a lot of noise. That being said, that’s more due to the people in the hotel not being respectful coming in loudly. If you’re really sensitive to noise, just a heads up.

Otherwise I enjoyed the stay. I’m comfortable in small European rooms. The a/c always cools them down quickly.
