The room itself was reasonable. The sound-proofing to the outside world was poor, with the noise from the nearby road/bridge being pretty constant late into the night. There were bin lorries emptying nearby bins after midnight on several nights. The fridge didn't work as a chiller (just a storage unit). The staff were helpful.

Location is perfect. Can see the central train station from the hotel front door, literally 1 minute walk. About 10 minutes from the other train station. Perfectly positioned between old and new town. Everything is so close in either direction.
The staff are lovely and friendly, great that you can store luggage before and after check in/Out.
Breakfast was good, small room and got busy.
Pity no tea coffee making facilities in the room, but other than that ok. All in all a good hotel, but could have got half price elsewhere with same facilities as I think it is overprices for what it is?

Perfect location for exploring the old town of Malaga. Soho just behind the hotel has some nice collect tapas and other food options and bars. A short walk up into the old town and you see all the amazing buildings and again lots of nice cafes and bars. The hotel is clean and safe and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also just across the road from the Centro Alameda train stop so really easy to get to the airport (4 stops away). Perfect for a day or two exploring the historic heart of Malaga

I only stayed in this hotel for one night. Generally, the rooms are modern and clean, but the air conditioning in my room was not working properly. Perhaps the hotel limits the minimum temperature somehow, because I couldn’t get the room to cool below 24 degrees, which, in Malaga in the hot weather is not at all cool enough. I woke up several times sweating, and opening the window was not an option, as my room was in the interior part of the building on a low floor with no airflow coming from outside.

Cuando llegamos nos dieron muy buena bienvenida, el señor muy amable. Pero cuando le fui a decir a la muchacha que no habia aire Acondicionado por poco me come de la mala contesta que me dio. Parecia que era la dueña . Y para acabar cuando nos fuimos le dijimos que nos pidieran un taxi grande porque teníamos muchas maletas y no lo hicieron cuando le fuimos a decir , el señor con tan mala forma nos dijo “ Eso es un coche mercedes traten de meterse como puedan “ también con tremenda actitud. Conclusión te dan una bienvenida excelente hasta que te cobran , luego que tiene el dinero de su lado te tratan como perros. Además el hotel debería de poner en sus descripciones que en tiempo de frío solo tiene calefacción, no hay opción de aire acondicionado. Recuerden todos los clientes son diferentes y vienen de diferentes lugares .

Good hotel for the price

Hotel is fairly small, conveniently located for Malaga C.A. train station to/from the airport. Reception was efficient and we were able to check in an hour early.
Cosy, well-equipped bedroom with newly refurbished bathroom which was excellent. Breakfast had a very good selection of hot and cold items, bakery choices were particularly good. Luggage storage is available to enable exploring the city.

Amazong experience

We stayed for 2 nights and we had a great experience. We arrived around 3am as our flight was delayed, the check in was fast and smooth. The room was good size and clean. The location is fantastic, next to the Train station were you can catch a direct train to the airport, 15 minutes walking to the beach and 10 minutes walkin to Malaga Historic Center!

Nice hotel in a good location. A few minutes walk to the start of the promenade which is about a 10 - 15 minute walk to centra of town. The parking is on the same road as hotel about 100 metres away. You drive to door of car park and they valet park it in the garage then return it to you when you leave. Hotel is clean and staff friendly . Room was comfortable but lacked a fridge or anything to make a cup of coffee. A very easy 15 minute drive to airport.

Some hotels use sprays to cover smells and this is not a good idea as a distinctive unpleasant old hotel smell develops over time. Don’t know how you would get rid of it but it’s worth trying as everything else was good!

Great staff and cleaner. Kind birthday gesture from them really appreciated. Lovely room which was spacious and comfortable. Excellent shower.

My only concern was that I found the mattress a little bit hard as I am used to a softer padded one at home. Fitting a mattress topper would easily and affordably sort this out.

What a pity…

The room and bathroom were recently refurbished to a good standard. Room 601 is next to the lift but I was not aware of the lift while in the room. The view was of a brick wall. Perhaps we had the brick wall because we complained the second time we tried to book in. The 1st time started at about 1300 hours, the receptionist answered various phone calls and after 15 mins said he could not find a room. available. We left returning at 1845 and after 35 mins had our key. I used online check out at 0745. Around 1100 I received an email inviting me to use on line check out. They had one monitor available for check in and each time it appeared they were using it for the first time. This chain needs to make their IT suppliers sort this out or get a system which works. A total nonesense.

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and the bathroom had everything we needed including a hair dryer, additional paper towels, folding mirror and a stool. However, the AC was noisy so we had no choice but to keep this switched off overnight. It caused a lot of noise even at the lowest setting which disrupted our sleep. The pillows could have been comfier. The hotel is around a 20-30 minute walk from the beach. The breakfast was very basic with hardly any vegetarian options, but the choice of coffee/teas, fruit, bread rolls and cakes made up for this. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would recommend this hotel.

A lovely 3 night stay.

My husband and I had a lovely 3 night stay. The hotel was in a fantastic location right next to the train station and in Malaga Old Town. We spent 2 days exploring and sampling the local food and drink and the other day we caught the train to the beach. The only negative and it was a small one, is that the wardrobe doors didn’t run smoothly on the tracks and we had to lift them up to move them. Other than that all good.

Our room like a prison nothing to expect the shafts of other building's. The dimension of the room not perfect for three adult's. The seattoilt was broken. When check in charge me 22 EUR extra because we l make a mistake when l made reservation in the date even l call them within 20 minute and when we arrived they have the same price in the next day .no parking lot and so difficult to find one around in 15 to 2o Euros. We arrived to the place after a long day of travelling. We went in to the line, waiting for our turn to check in. Once it was our turn, the receptionist told us to wait until she finished with the full group (even the ones behind us on the line) because it was easier FOR HER to check them all in
Why she didn´t mention that from the beginning and could have seat and wait instead of standing on the queue for no reason?
No kettle or coffee/tea service in the room and the quality of the food for breakfast is very poor
The window lock on the stairs are broken, so you could feel a cold draft going through the building
You can hear lots of noise coming from other rooms as the pipeline is probably old. This causes a \"whistle\" type of sound every time you open the tap on the sink
