Lovely property. Great breakfast and dinner options. The pool area was modern and luxurious.
Very friendly family running the hotel. Very safe. Definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place away from the busy and congested areas. Only 8 minute drive to the nearest beach town.

Lovely family run hotel. We enjoyed the food which was freshly made and locally sourced (most of the ingredients home grown!) The pool area was really nice and very quiet, even in peak season, and the small beach which was a short walk away was perfect. Car hire from the hotel was a really plus too. Would definitely recommend to people wanting a quieter stay in Zakynthos.

I booked this property based on all the great reviews but i am astonished as i did not have the same experience and am quering all reviews
Firstly no owner greeted us, the receptionist was rude and we did not feel welcome
There was no hot water first night and had to wait and by that time we were so tired and it was so late we didnt bother, the cleaner disposed of one of our alcoholic bottles which she initially denied and then was found in her rubbish bin
Also i did book a seaview room and just so you know only the rooms at the front of property are seaview the rest are facing towards the paddock/ mountain and once you step out onto verandah and face clockwise you will see sea
Most disappointing for me though was the arrogance of the owner who after voicing my complaints told my family and i and also our friends who also booked with this hotel that if we didnt like it we can pack up and go. This has never happened to us before. So we did pack up and go a day early and to our relief found a much nicer hotel with more pleasant people. He also did mention that he is so busy that it does not bother him if we leave

Such a lovely hotel, the food was really good and the hotel staff so friendly! Very lucky with the weather and such a relaxing week away. Everyone was more than happy to help, they managed to organise quad bike hire for the week and airport transfer for us. Would definitely return!

Bus stop a short walk away to take you to Tsilvi and Zakynthos Town.

A paradise of love, peace and relaxation

Our stay at Arkadia was the most amazing, relaxing and enjoyable stay we have ever had! We specifically chose this hotel for its peacefulness away from the main Zante town, to really take in the traditional Greek culture, and this was exactly it! The 'filoxenia' of the hotel staff was above and beyond. Ensuring every hotel occupant felt comfortable, laughed, and truly enjoyed themselves. From helping us, with the best places to go and visit around the island to joining in at night with our festivities!

I can not say enough about the quality of hotel, maintenance and cleanliness! And this can only be because they pride themselves of having such an amazing hotel!

The restaurant on the bottom floor offering traditional Greek food and also some western classics was exemplary! Some of the tastiest food we have ever eaten!

Also, the thing that made our time even better is the other guests whom themselves were amazing to spend time with testament to the hotels environment and atmosphere!

Thank you Angelo and Mary for what has been the most amazing time! We will definitely be back!!!!

Love this place!

Absolutely beautiful hotel with very accomadating staff. Only downfall was no direct Beach access, but perfect otherwise. Staff really goes the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable. Delicious homemade wine and food!

Beautiful, quiet hotel with impeccable staff

I only stayed for 3 days but it felt more like home to me than my own house.. Corina, Joanna, the guy who runs everything and the beautiful blond woman who works with them all were a complete delight. Really made me feel welcome, considering i'm 21 and it was my first time travelling alone. These are people i am still in contact with now having returned to England and i plan on seeing Corina when she comes to London again!
They have a close relationship with a car rental dealership and it's all at really reasonable prices so it makes getting around Zakynthos so much easier!
Beautiful tavern and small beach area nearby, but the staff are full of knowledge about the whole area and are more than happy to fill you in on everything!!
Hotel was beautiful and clean, cleaning staff are also really lovely people and the room is cleaned and mopped daily, not like in some hotels where they change the bed and pretend they did more.

I plan to return again in a few months, i would highly recommend to anyone and i'm even taking my partner next time!

Perfect little hotel

This was the absolute perfect hotel for me to stay in during my holiday. It's close to the beach, nice and quaint without a lot of people, no screaming children. The rooms are AMAZING!!!!! There's a bar, nice pool, nice view-- you can also order food.

But the best part are the staff. They are all absolutely amazing!!!

Brilliant stay. The owner Angelos was super friendly. Corena helped me a lot on finding the interesting places to go on the island. Excellent stay would definitely recommend. Need a car to get there. Perfect for us as we hired a car anyway.

Definitely Worth Staying

Fab hotel, very clean, friendly staff, towels and beds changed everyday, not your usual package holiday standard, luxurious bathroom and memory foam mattress on a double bed with fluffy pillows, meals available, nice pool, sea views, only downside is that you will need to hire a car if you want to get out and about as not much nearby but definitely relaxing

Very comfortable hotel

The hotel has very modern large bathroom and very soft towels which were changed on a daily basis. It does have the wow factor here. The rooms were very spacious , cleaned on a daily basis and beds were very comfortable . We had an adjoining room with our 10 and 14 year old kids. They also had the same set up. The adjoining room was perfect for us. Each room had it's own air conditioner. The pool was fantastic and the kids really enjoyed it. The breakfast had warm and cold food. Staff were very helpful and friendly. You definitely need a car to get to this place as there is not much around if you want to discover some on the nicer beaches. There is a beach about 300m down, but dont expect long sandy shores here. We did not swim here. The local tavern is there by the beach which we ate a couple of times and the food was good. There is not much else in regards to restaurants near the hotel. Overall the hotel amenities and comfort were great.

Quiet, beautiful sea view, middle of the island

Room conditions are very good, clean and stunning view to the beautiful blue sea and neighbour islands from the double suite.
Amazing service from everyone in hotel making you feel welcome. Beautiful swimming pool with bar and nice area around. A bit far from shops and touristic area making it quiet for proper rest.
For a apart hotel the kitchen was not very well furnished, no microwave or oven and few cooking utensils. Bath was smelly if turned the hidtomassage on.

First but hopefully not last visit to Arkadia

Excellent hotel and staff, very welcoming and friendly. Little remote and car hire is necessary if you want to visit the island. This can be done through the hotel once there and also free pick up from airport is offered. Would definitely return to the Arkadia if visiting Zante again.

Happy hols at the Arkadia

Need a car as supermarket and swimming beach at a distance. Closest beach very rocky with tricky access for children. However, very quiet location and perfect for me.

A lovely couple run this beautiful Greek Hotel

We loved our stay at the Arkadia. Maria and Angelos were such wonderful hosts and we felt that it really mattered to them that we had the best experience. The rooms are large and comfortable by Greek standards. We had a kitchenette area which was great for making snacks and hot tea! Maria cooks freshly every day and there is a wide choice of menu including home made bread. The pool area is exemplary and when we were there it was lovely and quiet. However, if children were there during school hols it could be a different story and this hotel is so special it would make a wonderful adults only location, particularly as it is not in the main tourist area and there is little for children to do locally. There is a Greek taverna down the road overlooking the sea which also serves excellent Greek dishes but other than this there is little to walk to so hiring a car either direct from Angelo or locally is a good idea to get out and about. The views and peace and quiet on the balcony was so relaxing and the balcony furniture was better than we have had in some five star hotels. Definitely recommend.

Рядом с отелем нет ни пляжа, спуска к воде. Нет кафе и ресторанов, негде прогуляться.
В номере только один раз поставили воду и туалетные принадлежности.
Номера чистые. Завтрак хороший, но однообразный.

Personale molto cordiale e disponibile, camera spaziosa, accogliente e pulita. Molto gradevole anche la zona piscina col bar ristorante. Molto buona la cucina che serve piatti tipici greci preparati ottimamente. Unica nota un po’ stonata è la posizione, leggermente interna che non permette una piena vista mare. Personalmente ho gradito molto il fatto che il proprietario è direttamente coinvolto nel servizio clienti servendo e intrattenendo gli ospiti al bar ristorante. In conclusione , lo raccomanderei senza dubbio a chi cerca una sistemazione all’insegna del relax.

Vriendelijk, netjes, behulpzaam, lekker eten tegen een normale prijs, rustig gelegen kortom erg genoten. Wel rekening houden met de rustige ligging van het hotel. Indien je wat wenst te gaan bezichtigen is het raadzaam een vervoermiddel te huren. Ook hierbij zijn ze behulpzaam en soms mogelijk om vervoermiddel op gehaald word bij het hotel. Ze proberen je helemaal in de watten te leggen. Wifi en Airconditioning bij prijs inbegrepen. Wel duidelijk aangeven als je opgehaald wenst te worden op de luchthaven.

Alt i alt en god oplevelse. Hotellet er fint og har de faciliteter man ønsker sig. Lokalområdet er kedeligt og er ikke rigtig noget at råbe hurra for.
Hvis man ønsker sig et hotel der ligger udenfor byen i rolige og stille omgivelser er hotellet det rette sted.

Quartos grandes e confortáveis

Quarto bem espaçoso, tinha até fogão, para nossa sorte, já que que pegamos durante 2 dias seguidos e aproveitamos para cozinhar e beber vinho. Bons drinks no bar do hotel. É essencial alugar carro desde o aeroporto, pois tudo é muito longe em Zakynthos. A praia próxima do hotel não serve para banho. Equipe atenciosa.

Soggiorno perfetto

Abbiamo soggiornato io e la mia ragazza 8 giorni e 7 notti presso questo albergo. Che dire..è perfetto. La struttura è appartata e dispone di 20 appartamenti circa, molto ben arredati. Bagno magnifico e spazioso così come la camera da letto e la piccola cucina. La pulizia delle stanze è invidiabile ed è molto ben curata sia la hall che la piscina al suo esterno. La struttura è gestita da Angelos e la sua famiglia, molto cordiali e disponibili. È possibile anche affittare mezzi di ogni tipo tramite l’agenzia a cui sono affiliati. Abbiamo inoltre usufruito della navetta gratuita che ci ha accompagnati sia all’arrivo che alla partenza in aereoporto. Colazione, pranzo e cena consigliatissimi in struttura, tutto fatto in casa e fresco. Un soggiorno con i fiocchi.

Das Hotel ist empfehlenswert! Sauber, komfortabel, die Zimmer sind groß und schön, die Betten bequem - tolles Bad! Das gesamte Personal ist absolut hilfsbereit und sehr nett! Das Internet könnte besser funktionieren.

Leider befindet sich das Hotel tatsächlich im Nirgendwo - es gibt eine Taverne in unmittelbarer Nähe, ein weiteres Restaurant und einen Supermarkt in schätzungsweise 1,5km Entfernung - man ist definitiv auf Auto/Roller/Quad angewiesen. Schöne Strände sind fußläufig nicht erreichbar. Angelos, der Hotelmanager, besitzt eine Mietwagenfirma - wir haben uns an dieser leider nach einem Unfall mit unserem Quad die Finger verbrannt und würden sie daher keinesfalls weiterempfehlen, was allerdings in keinster Weise mit Angelos persönlich zusammenhängt. Vielmehr ist sein Geschäftspartner mit Vorsicht zu genießen; es wird in einer Konfliktsituation mit unorthodoxen Einschüchterungsmethoden gearbeitet, man ist harsch und aggressiv. Lieber also Hotel und Mietwagen trennen!

Insgesamt hatten wir trotz des Unfalls eine schöne Zeit auf Zakynthos, was nicht zuletzt an dem tollen Hotel lag.

Veramente bello ma scomodo

Hotel di buon livello ma dal prezzo pagato mi aspettavo altro. Si trova in Lugo isolato lontano da qualsiasi attività ricreativa o mare. Bisogna muoversi con mezzo motorizzato altrimenti si resta isolati. A piedi non vai da nessuna parte.
Mi resterà impresso il rumorosissimo frigo della stanza che, anche se a massima Potenza, non rinferescava nulla. Per acqua fresca bisognava usare freezer.

Scelta comoda e confortevole

La posizione di questo hotel è ideale per visitare l'intera isola,muniti ovviamente di auto, essendo equidistante da tutti i maggiori siti di interesse(20 minuti da Zacinto,45 da Shipwreck,30 da Banana Beach,40 da Gerakas,ad esempio).Camere con bagni ristrutturati,spaziosi e moderni,lo dico per tutti quelli che come noi odiano tendine della doccia in plastica e vecchie piastrelle,all'Arcadia non troverete nulla di tutto ciò.Angolo cottura invece da non tenere in considerazione per la preparazione di piatti caldi perché le piastre sono deboli ed impiegano ore ed ore prima di andare a temperatura;frigo ed occorrente invece per preparare piatti freddi.Colazione gustosa e variegata con dolce,salato e frutta fresca;consiglio inoltre di partecipare alla serata barbeque,ottima carne con contorni vari e bevande ad Euro 20,00 a persona (per chi come noi aveva solo la colazione,per chi ha mezza pensione o pensione completa ovviamente già incluso nel prezzo pagato per il soggiorno) il tutto a buffet.Proprietari squisiti,distante quel che basta dal rumore e dalla sciatteria di Tsilivi,ambienti pulitissimi e curati:lo consigliamo in tutto e per tutto!
