A luxury, relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings

We received a warm welcome upon arrival and were pleased to be offered an early check-in. All the staff - both at reception and in the bar/restaurant - were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Our suite was clean, spacious, and modern, with a stunning view from the balcony. The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection each morning.

The overall atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, especially around the pool area, where we could unwind on sunbeds while drinks were brought to us.

The hotel is set in a quiet location, about a 10-15 minute walk from the nearest shops, bars, and restaurants, down a scenic winding road.

We absolutely loved our stay and would happily return.

Presents like a 5 star hotel but delivered like a 3 star.
Positives were rooms were very spacious and upgraded to a ground flr room with a great size plunge pool.
Negatives- both managers lacked any type of customer service charm, no bell man to help with bags, cheap finishes from flooring to tiles to toilets which were always clogged or running. Weeds growing in the floorboards all around the pool, place is definitely put together and operated on a shoestring budget - not sure how they get away with a 5 star rating but fittingly one of the stars on the exterior of the hotel has already fallen off. Two tvs in the room but when you turn ine on the other turns on too, when you change the channel, the other tv changes too. Poorly designed and cheaply finished. Most of the staff are international and all seem scared of the harsh looking management. They charge for water bottles and tried to charge me for mini bar items that we didn’t even have in our mini bar to start. The saviour for this place is Stamatis the bartender who is the only friendly face you will see here. He is class and delivers true greek hospitality. All in all, for the size of the room and the upgrade to the great private plunge pool it was worth it, given that we are not hanging out at the hotel all day. Would be better for them to downgrade to a four star and over-deliver.

When we entered our room, our first impression was that it was very nice. But we soon found out that the toilet did not work. There was also no running water in the sink, and no cold water in the shower. The room had a whirlpool tub, which did have hot and cold running water. We were told that the whirlpool tub was on a separate water line, and that most likely all rooms on the same wing were facing the same problem with water to the bathrooms. We were also told there were no other rooms available, and that they would contact someone to take a look. After a couple of correspondences with hotel staff, we were told that someone would be there around 11:00 pm. In the meantime, we had to use the hotel basement restroom.

Later in the evening we seen that the whirlpool tub had a spray bar, so we thought we could take showers in the tub. The knob to turn on the spray bar was broken so we couldn't use it. We ended up filling the tub with water to wash but noticed that a LARGE amount of chunky debris was coming out of the faucet. Not really sanitary in my opinion. It appears that there are serious issues with the plumbing at the hotel.

Needless to say, the water problem and toilet were never fixed, so we asked the hotel for buckets. We filled them with water from the tub and poured them in the toilet to flush it.

We also noticed peeling wallpaper in the room, weeds growing between the decking of the boardwalk around the pool, and an overall lack of maintenance.

What can i say Elegance will always be a special place for us! We spent our 25th anniversary there. We arrived earlier than planned,so called the hotel,hoping to be allowed to use the pool area. Arriving at the hotel,we received the warmest of welcomes ever & was told not only could we use the pool but our room was ready & been upgraded to a beautiful private suite! The room was outstanding. The cleaner had decorated the room for us with balloons & confetti & had its own private infinity pool!!
Cleaning: The whole hotel was cleaned immaculately every day replenishing the bathroom products & towels.
Bar staff & restaurant staff: Breakfast was buffet style & so much choice,you didnt know what to choose! By day they were so attentive with bringing bottles of water to the sunbeds & any drinks that you ordered. At night the evening meal you were treated like royalty. The food was amazing & beautifully presented.
Reception staff: From the minute we arrived we felt like royalty,never received such a warm welcome anywhere before. They were always so helpful & attentive,booking taxis for us & giving us the best advice on where to go.
Every single member of staff goes above & beyond,but a special mention has to go to Chrysa,the manager, a friend for life. Cannot thank her enough for all she did for us. She is always on the go,making sure every guest has the best experience as possible. They say the staff make a holiday special, but this really is the case here. Thanks to everyone xx

Amazing stay

One of the best hotels we stayed at. The staff is amazing especially Krissy who runs the hotel, she is very very caring of her customers. We got upgraded from the first day we got there which was very nice. When we got problem with the toilet they helped us right away and once again we got upgraded with a private pool room. As mentioned, the staff and especially Krissy was very caring of their customer. Overall a really nice hotel, pool area very calm and relaxing and the rooms are beautiful.

We were looked after like king and queen at Elegance. The food was amazing and generous portions, props to the chef for their culinary talent. Crissa welcomed us and upgraded our room free of charge and also gave us beautiful wine as a parting gift. Crissa thank you for your hospitality and warmth. The restaurant and breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Cannot thank the staff enough and especially Stamatis who was always checking in on us and had our coffee order ready for us. Beautiful greek coffee. Thank you to the housekeeping team as well for providing high quality cleaning. The hotel is located in the beautiful area of tragaki and we were so glad to have booked as the views were amazing and its only a 12 min walk to the main road and close by to a beautiful coffee shop, supermarkets, beach and a bus stop. I definitely recommend the bus journey as the views are amazing. We miss you Elegance and Zakynthos.

The property was very well located for access across the island of Zakaynthos. the entire property was very clean. The rooms were the most spacious we have had in Europe.
The property was a true 5 star resort. We had a large bathroom and a 2 person jacuzzi with a view of the ocean in our room
The breakfast buffet was incredible with gourmet options and lots of choices, including made to order omelets.
Everyone on the staff was very friendly, helpful and always checking if you needed anything. Stanmitis, Nick and the Manager, Kostas, were always available, and went out of their way to assist with everything. We had a late flight and they insured we could use our room at the end of the day after we were expected to checkout in the morning. The Elegance Luxury Executive Suites was the best overall hotel I have stayed at during my 20 years of travel for business and vacations in Europe.

Five star service, beautiful views, 3.5 star accommodations. Our shower was faulty & even after the staff came to “fix” it, we barely had hot water or water pressure. The toilet was faulty & wall paper coming off in places… however, The staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially Stamatis!!! *** The morning breakfast buffet was exceptional, five star for sure! Nice, quiet location! Peaceful & relaxing.

A Greek Paradise

A little piece of paradise.
We had a room with a private pool and it was amazing - very large, huge bathroom and all you can need and wish for.
The private pool area was excellent and you just didn’t want to leave the room.
One downfall were a finishes for the room, near the hot tub and then wallpaper was peeling off which must be due to moisture but you expect this to be fixed due the expectations staying somewhere like this.
We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was delicious, one of the best of the 12 day trip on the island. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice, high quality produce and the staff couldn’t do enough for us all.

Hotel is located on a hill, overlooking the green hillsides and the open sea in a panoramic view.
The hotel is completely new, and everything is in high standard, with comfort and elegant design in mind.
I loved it all.
I had the 'Navagio' room. It was very large and practical.
Comfortable chairs in balcony, overlooking the breath taking panoramic view, and the beautiful pool below.
The bed is super soft and comfortable. Very cosy and comfortable seating area.
Large shower. And a separate large hot-tub with the same great view.
I had breakfast in room, it was excellent. I presume the buffet is as good.
I highly recommend this place !!!
WIFI is a bit stagger, but ok.

Very Quiet Hotel with Friendly Staff

We stayed here 1st -8th September 2018 and were very pleased with our choice of hotel. We wanted a quiet hotel with a nice pool for a relaxing holiday. This is exactly what we got.

The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Kostas was particularly friendly and helpful and we have had a wonderfully relaxing holiday. Although we were told the 20 rooms of the hotel were fully booked, there was never more than 6 people around the pool on any given day.The views of the ocean from the pool area are wonderful and unexpected.

Food is good, room service was great.

I don't really have any complaints about the hotel or the staff and would definitely return. There is no evening atmosphere as people are either out or in their rooms so this is not the hotel for you if you're not willing to leave. We never saw anyone have dinner in the dining room the whole week! Many people get up and leave early to go diving/ exploring and the only time we saw guests was at breakfast (which was lovely with great eggs!). It's particularly quiet but there is a pool bar and good lunch menu for the day and you very much feel like you have the pool to yourself.

We spent various days out and about exploring Zakynthos Town (15 min drive) and various beaches around the island. Tsivili is 5 mins down the road with various bars and restaurants. The reception staff will help you with places to go and Stamatis and Kostas will sort you out for drinks/towels to take with you for the day.

All round great hotel!

Excellent hotel. The staff Kostas and Stamatis go over and above to make the experience so personal. The hotel is lovely and quiet, ideal for couples and always sun beds available around the pool, if anything you'd never think there were many others staying yet it was full when we were there. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday, this is ideal with easy access to more if you want it - 20 minutes walk to the beach and local town (Tsivili - with plenty for all expectations) is 25 minutes walk although not suitable at night as not paths all the way, but a taxi is 8 euros each way.

Hotel was absolutely stunning. Placed on top of a hill just out of the town the views from the hotel were outstanding. We got an unexpected free upgrade to a room with a private pool which was great. Very luxurious hotel, perfect for group parties or honeymoon couples.
Breakfast was really good with the omelette being the star of the morning. They have a separate omelette chef who prides himself in making these, delicious. Overall the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Amazing hotel, stunning views and excellent staff

We had a fantastic 1 week holiday at Elegance, the hotel has stunning view and quiet location, which was one of our main reason when we booked it.
The staff is excellent, they all worked very hard to make us feel special and nothing was too much trouble for them, always helpful and smiley, delicious breakfast, fresh and big variety - everybody will find something to like.
From the second day we got our favourite coffee in the morning without asking, cold water by the pool at the minute we sat down.
As it was in a remote location, we rented a car for 2 days through the hotel, easy and quick. The taxi costs around €8 to Tsilivi.
The island is amazing, the boat trips and the beaches are great - our favourite was Porto Limnionas - but we enjoyed every minute after arriving back - very nice and relaxed atmosphere, lovely massages and delicious coctails.
The room was always clean, fresh towels every day and the bed was very comfortable.
We loved the restaurants nearby, there is a taverna very close to the hotel which you must try - delicious, large portions with an amazing view and a lovely staff.
Thank you very much again for this amazing week, we highly recommend this place.

Nice hotel, secluded and quiet, rooms were clean and cool everyday just the way we liked it. However it was a 30min walk to the beach of Tsivili which is where all the restaurants bars and shops are. You would need to rent a car ideally or get a taxi every time which is what we did because the driving there is not something I was going to get along with. Five star hotel with five star prices.

This is the best hotel I have stayed at! Spent there 7 days and it was amazing! Very clean with amazing staff especially Stigatis which has remembered our names and beverages we liked straight away and would always greet us everyday as well as bring us our favorite tea/coffee with breakfast. Food was amazing! Large varierty for brekfast which was great! Could have something different every morning. Also, by the pool Maria bartender would always bring out cold water with ice as soon as she saw us. Would definietly recommend the hotel! It is incredible! Not a negative thing I could say about it!

The absolute Best in Zakynthos!

I stayed here and was blown away by the service, the staff, the room and the views! I didn't want to leave! I will be staying there again in the near future and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in or around Zakynthos. They went out of their way, above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met and that I was as comfortable as I could be! Stop and see Kostas at the bar, he will treat you like his long lost brother! The front desk is dedicated to you and makes you feel like you are the most important guest in the hotel. The manager will go above and beyond to make you feel like Royalty! It's quiet, safe, comfortable, relaxing, immaculately clean, new, very reasonably priced and in a location with the most amazing view of the mountains and sea! The breakfast is excellent!

Stay away , horrible stay

We spent 2 nights there and it was horrible , nothing like a 5 star hotel . It should be a 2 star and that is being generous .

The location is actually quite far from the main strip in Tsilivi . The hotel is up on a hill and they offer you no shuttle to the main road . We had a car so it wasn't so bad , we were able to get around . For someone who is not willing to rent a car or take cabs , this can be challenging . The road is beaten up and there's no lighting at night to guide you to the hotel.
The pictures on the website are nice but the building and amenities have not been kept up to date .

We had no hot water for our showers those 2 days , we did complain immediately and they ended up sending someone to check . The person opened up some valve to let more hot water through but that didn't help , and then the shower head no longer worked .We had to use the hand held instead and there was absolutely no water pressure . The room did come with a separate jacuzzi , but when we ran the water it was brown !! so needless to say , we didn't even attempt to bathe in it .

Breakfast food left to desire clearly items from previous days , only eggs where made fresh. Thank God for the one of the waiters at breakfast who greeted us with a smile every morning (stamatis ) .

Very quiet Luxury Hotel

Beautiful clean hotel, very quiet only saw other guests at breakfast! thought the hotel was empty but was full! It is only advertised adult only in England so beware could have children although no facilities put on for children. You definitely need a car or pay 7 euros to get into the local resort. Staff are very friendly and helpful. trip to Blue caves at top of island and the 3 hour boat trip from South to see turtles good value for money. Best beach is Banana beach just over half hour drive from hotel.

Very good fish restaurant 5minute drive from resort opposite direction from Tvili beach resort.

Reasonable hotel, nice and quiet

This hotel is very quiet, very comfortable but by no means a 5 star hotel. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the room and there are many parts that seem unfinished. I was disappointed that there was no tea or coffee in the room and no bottled water. The staff were very friendly but did seem bored as there was little for them to do. Breakfast was reasonable but very slow, 20 mins for a boiled egg. It was a nice base to explore from though and the lunch in the pool bar was good.

Quiet retreat

We stayed in a suite with a private pool. So relaxing and peaceful was a great way to finish a holiday. If you are staying here I would recommend getting a car or some kind of vechile to get around as it's quite remote. Some of the finishes appear rushed in hotel however overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying there again.

Nice quiet hotel

We didn't read the bad reviews of this place until we'd booked so we were quite anxious about arriving BUT we were pleasantly surprised.

The staff are very nice and friendly, the entrance to the hotel is lovely and the rooms are brilliant. The rooms are a little excessive in size but it's hard to complain about that!

Breakfast is okay. Pool is a good size, clean and quiet.

It is possible to walk to Tsilivi town but it will take 30-40 mins and it's often too hot to walk so would recommend hiring a car. We hired a car through the hotel when we arrived but would suggest doing it beforehand if tou want to save a little.

We found ourselves driving to Banana Beach a lot - it's a bit nicer than the ones that are very local and has a very good restaurant attached which is reasonably priced.

All in all, a very pleasant experience and good value for money at Elegance.

Hotel was ok, it had a weird vibe. We were shown to our room, which looked very nice at first glance. But upon taking a closer look, the craftsmanship was very shoddy. The bed could have been comfortable, but it was made with sheets only. No blanket was available anywhere in the room. we lived with the cold the first night. The second night, cold again. I got up, got dressed and went to reception for a blanket. I was given something that resembled a table cloth. It was very thin and didn't even cover the whole bed! We ended up using our robes as blankets.

The best part of this hotel was the pool area, very nice, peaceful and relaxing. Also, had fast, friendly service at the pool bar.

The restaurant, nor the bar had any ambiance. We didn't like the location at all, I would definitely recommend renting a car for staying here. Tsivili is nice and close if you have a car or take a taxi. If I had it to do over, I would stay in Tsivili, many restaurants and shops there!

Beautiful room for our honeymoon, very basic hotel

Our room was incredible, truly the nicest room we've ever stayed in. The hotel and pool area were beautiful but pretty basic, food and drinks are very expensive, €12 for a small cocktail! Breakfast was included with our room which was nice, not masses of variety but enough. No entertainment of any description, music barely audible even in the evening, but staff are absolutely lovely though. Other than breakfast, we ate in the hotel restaurant once on our first day. The starter was so overcooked, we couldn't physically chew it and had to send it back which I've never actually had to do before. Mains were okay but this was the first and last time we ate at the hotel.

Hotel is quite far away from anything. A good 20 minute walk at least (or €7 taxi) to the nearest town/beach, both of which are busy with lots of dining options etc. We hired a quad bike which was a fantastic way to get around and see the island, would highly reccomend this.

Overall the hotel is very very quite, which if you were after a quiet getaway would be great - providing they improve their food. We weren't the only guests who didn't eat in the restaurant, we barely saw anyone in there. Also, no snack menu for the day, so only full meals are available which is too heavy twice a day in my opinion. But it worked well for us as we were out all day/evening everyday, so used the hotel as a base, and our room was fantastic so we fully appreciated the luxury when we returned at night.

HORRIBLE!! True nightmare, must read!!!

This is a long but MUST read before booking!!!

We got back a week ago and we're still so very traumatized. It all started ok, we were greeted with juice and cake while waiting for around 30-40 min for our room to be ready.

When we got to our room, it looked amazing but in the bathroom there is a piece of hair extension hanging, really? After 30 min of waiting, the housekeeping manages to miss this? Anyhow, we had it removed but started feeling very uncomfortable in the room, like it hadn't been cleaned at all.

Our room didn't have a safe so someone brought one in for us, that was neither laptop compatible or safe seeing as someone could just walk out with it, and oh, it came with giant keys.

We were going to take a shower, the shower head wasn't working, although the hotel blames it on us not using it properly they sneakily fixed it and said it and said there was nothing wrong.

When I went to open the wardrobe in the morning, the door came off and almost fell on me.

After that we simply just thought it was an unfinished room and asked to change rooms. They said it wasn't possible cause they were fully booked, although we rarely saw more than two couples at the same time ever. When we asked to speak to the manager, they said he wouldn't be available until 7 pm, and the receptionist kept walking in to his office and coming out saying he's not available. The only times we really saw the manager was when he was eating at the restaurant together with a group of other m

Quiet Stay

Nice location. It's away from the crowds but only a two min drive from Ambula beach and three mins to the closest town if you're looking for shops and restaurants. The hotel is still under construction but the rooms are perfect. The pool is great as well. The only problem is you don't know what the hotel offers. There is no information and the staff doesn't inform you. We didn't realize there was a restaurant onsite until the last day.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Everything was perfect to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The housekeeping lady did an impeccable job and was incredibly kind, the bartender always served us with a smile and great friendliness, and the Asian waiter was exceptionally attentive, helpful, and charming. A special thank you as well to the manager, who made us feel truly valued. Thanks to such a warm-hearted team, our experience at the hotel will remain a truly beautiful memory.

Fantastisk service men ikke et 5 stjernet hotel.
Vi blev taget virkelig godt imod af hotelchefen. Super sød og serviceminded. Hun hjalp os også med at leje en bil til hele ugen vi var der. Det der slog os ved ankomst var at reception og indgangsområdet var helt dødt. Lyset var ikke tændt og der var ingen liv af nogen art. Ingenting på bordene og ingen sjæl. Næsten som om hotellet var lukket.
Vores værelse var stort og relativt nyt. Dejligt værelse med havudsigt som får vores varmeste anbefaling.
Restauranten er det der virkelig trækker ned. Vi spiste her 2 gange. Og begge gange var voldsomt skuffende. De har fast menu hver dag så ingenting af vælge imellem. Begge dage var maden kold ved servering og der var hår i maden den ene aften.
Morgenmaden er heller ikke tilfredsstillende. Pandekager lå bare på en kold tallerken. Iskolde. Udvalget var tyndt og ikke præsenteret på en særlig tiltalende måde.
Poolområdet var super hyggeligt med lækker stor lun pool, masse oliventræer og dejlig ro. Kunne dog godt have unværet musik fra baren. MEN, terrassen var så slidt at man var bange for at falde igennem træet. Det gyngede når man gik på det. Det samme gælder solsengene. De var dejligt behagelige med tykke madrasser men ved at falde fra hinanden.
Noget der virkelig er til den positive side er tjeneren i baren, Stamatis. Sjældent har vi oplevet bedre service end fra ham. Han var altid super opmærksom og behjælpelig. Min kone havde højt blodtryk og han kom med special lavet te til hende

We were very satisfied with our stay. The food was delicious, the cleanliness was excellent, and the room was very good. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We even received a complimentary upgrade to a better room, which was a wonderful surprise. Overall, we can highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Abbiamo alloggiato una settimana, ci siamo trovati benissimo, la struttura è bellissima, molto rilassante, il personale cordiale ed ospitale. La posizione dell' hotel è molto strategica perché in massimo 30-40 Min ti permette di raggiungere qualsiasi posto sull'isola. Il nostro posto preferito è stato il bar grazie al barman Mr. Stamatis che ci ha dispensato consigli utilissimi per il nostro soggiorno a Zante. Consigliatissimo

Es war ein fabelhafter Urlaub! Das hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber trotzdem wundervoll. Das personal ist super freundlich und erfüllt einem jeden Wunsch. Die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig und einfach traumhaft. Wir hatten wundervolle 10 Tage und werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Muito bom hotel. Café da manhã bem servido. Atendimento sempre especial. Quarto bem amplo, bonito e confortável, mas com necessidade de alguma renovação. A experiência com a jacuzzi não foi boa porque a limpeza/manutenção não era boa. No primeiro e único uso, observamos resíduos e cabelos estranhos juntos com a água. Então, desligamos e não a usamos mais.

Séjour exceptionnel malgré un équipement dans la chambre comme la douche qui fonctionnait mal mais le reste magnifique pour nous. Le personnel est fort sympathique et à l’écoute. Stamatis parle français ceux qui nous a bien aidé. Il a été d’une grande aide et aux petits soins sans qu’on lui demande forcément. Il est d’une pure gentillesse et de bon conseils.
