Simply the best

A delightful stay. We loved all the choices for sun loungers, from around the pool, to seating overlooking the beach and on the beach itself. The breakfast was one of the best and from 7.30 to 11.00, and with unlimited barista coffees both hot and iced, was a great start to the day. The pool was never crowded, and a top infinity pool. The beach is also special, uncrowded and with a sandy bottom you don't need rock shoes. Thanks to the amazing team who work hard to make this a very special place.

Almost a top-end resort

Great service, great food and excellent views across the Ionion Sea. All the things you would expect for a high-end resort. However, a few repeating issues we encountered throughout our week:
1. Constant upselling by staff. I know I can order a bottle of wine, I want a glass. I know it can order a starter, I don’t want one. At one point was recommended a €100 bottle of wine (unprompted) which I was promised would pair best with dinner (it wouldn’t).
2. At dinner there were several skilled instrumentalists. Namely a piano and guitar duo one day, cellist the next. Unfortunately they were all made to play rehashed tracks by Ed Sheeran, Celine Dion or a number of modern artists alongside a naff backing track. By day 4 we had heard A Thousand Years played by both sets of musicians and again in a calypso lounge cover at the bar. Let the musicians play up to their skill level, they all looked bored and were clearly forced to mute their abilities.
Very good week all being said (the beach bar is brilliant) but the above points did make the experience feel disingenuous in part.

We had the 11 course menu at Melia with the wine tasting. Should Michelin star at least! Exceeded our expectations in every way.

The service here was excellent, facilities are top notch, staff was always very attentive and super nice. If you are into the gym and spa amenities, you will happy with the equipment and services offered. Gym was open 24 hrs so you don’t have to worry about waiting to work around others in a relative small space. This hotel has direct access to a small private beach area, which was a huge plus when compared to other hotels and just trying to snag a good spot at other beaches around the island. If you want to explore you will need some transportation and they offer drop off and pick-up at the hotel, which is very convenient. Food was excellent. All rooms have ocean views, I chose one with a private pool, which was nice occasionally but probably would have been just fine walking 2 minutes to the main hotel pool which was very refreshing. Highly recommended and very happy with my choice. I will definitely stay here again when I come back.

Giannis, the manager of Gaia (one of 3 restaurants on the resort), was extremely committed to making my stay perfect. He and his staff were exceptional. Peggy, one of the servers, was delightfully happy and kind. Such great vibes. I highly recommend this place to solo travelers as they definitely payed special attention to my needs knowing that I was on my own. They anticipated and exceeded all of my expectations throughout my entire stay. Thank you to everyone at Lesante Blu for making my vacation so special!

From the pickup at the airport with the Range Rover to the massage at the spa, this resort is the most amazing experience you can have on a greek island.
We arrived very early in the morning and Antonia (from the front desk) worked so hard to get us into our room 4 hours early. She is a gem! She helped us out with reservations, extra towels and just about everything we needed.
The infinity pool at the resort is a true infinity pool, not the fake kind you see everywhere now.
Speaking of pools, we had our own private pool in our room, and it was just the best. The restaurants were top notch, as we had an 11- course dinner seaside that was so great (but long, like 3 hours).
Constantina was the best server we had the whole trip, and maybe ever. She was so attentive and kind.
You must book this hotel if you stay in Zakynthos. They treat you like family, the royal family!!!

Food at main restaurant is also great (dinner is a 5 course). Hotel provides special emphasis on covid-related safety. Special thanks to Vasilis for his professional and courteous guest service. I wish I could give 10 stars. A special thank you to Mr. Vasilis - frankly, I have never experienced this level of customer service even when staying at 7 star hotels like the Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
The suite was very clean and spacious.
I highly recommend the South Tour which Claire (concierge) can assist with.
Spectacular hotel and more so the staff who truly made our stay very comfortable.

My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel. The positives of this hotel are the location (quiet, beach front with private beach), cleanliness, and overall accommodating.

The reason why they are not receiving a higher rating during our stay is mainly the staff service. While they were friendly overall, there were several staff members who were rude and disingenuous. Additionally, the private doctor that the hotel uses for covid testing was misinformed about the protocols which added to a very stressful ending to our trip. The staff did not make us feel welcome, and the only genuine people we met during our stay were the cleaning staff. I would not stay here again due to this service issue. In addition, the tv remote continuously had problems (which on its own is not an issue but it is when you’re paying 5 star prices).

Very well run in Covid situation: clean and well managed without being obtrusive.

Food good standard and excellent variety across the different restaurants with occasional live music; the beach bar was a great spot for lunch.

Plenty of room across the pool area and beach even though the place felt at capacity.

Good service. Price of food at higher end of what we were expecting. The hotel overall compares well with other similar accommodation we’ve stayed in. Would recommend!

Wonderful hotel, fantastic staff. Had a problem with the air conditioning in my room and the hotel upgraded me.

Minor issue #1: The cooked breakfast food is NEARLY ALWAYS cold. But no problem, just send it back (once or twice) and ask for a hot one.

Minor issue #2: Guests using their beach towels to reserve all the loungers early in the morning. I suggest the hotel puts a time limit on doing this.

Minor issue #3: Due to COVID, exceptions were made to the 'adults only' rule - we had around ten children from 4-16 while we were there. I raised this with Expedia, who said: \"sorry\"(!)

Highly recommend this resort! Overall the resort is amazing. Staff is genuinely friendly and you feel taken care of. We had the most relaxing time there and enjoyed the tranquility by the pool (the no kids policy helps). Food was delicious, we especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning with the sea view. I believe every room in this resort has a sea view because of the way it's laid out, there is not one room that doesn't face the ocean. We had a room with an outdoor jacuzzi which was the best choice EVER! Especially in the September months when it gets a little chilly in the evening, it was unreal in the hot jacuzzi overlooking the sea. Can't say anything negative about this place, we ended up extending our stay there by 3 days because we liked it so much. When we did that they offered us a lower rate than online as well. Ask them about rental cars as well. There is a place close by (Maria owns it) and she is the sweetest lady and literally brings the car to the hotel for you (also very cheap!) and picks it up when you are done!

But I was really disappointing by receptions staffs , they were not so professional , that time we were there that was a problem by card pose , so staffs were really nervous about how we can pay for our stay. Laundry service not satisfied , pool's restaurant was almost closed at 5pm, just had fast food and salad for that time!
Reception's staff were arrogant and a little rude! And communication between themes not good.

Solid and Enjoyable Choice

A lovely hotel with superb personal service and very good a la carte food. Location is in quite a built up area but public spaces very pleasant. Beach somewhat narrow especially when weather windy and sea laps the shores. Gym also quite small. A solid choice for adults not wanting many on site sports activities. Getting to the North or West of the island quite circuitous and lengthy due to winding and poor island roads. A well run hotel though and very enjoyable.

This was a brilliant hotel and very relaxing. The rooms are really nice. A lot of them have pools on the balcony – although we just had the standard room and it was great! Service is personal and attentive – the staff go above and beyond for you. The food is lovely. It isn’t cheap – but you can also walk to several other restaurants for dinner. The pool area is beautiful but we spent most of the time on the beach. I would recommend this hotel

Loved the view!!! Comfy bed, clean room, great shower. Buffet breakfast is incredible!!
However, we were charged for mini bar items we didn’t use (they were’t stocked when we arrived), though we were refunded as soon as we explained it to reception. Asked reception for an umbrella on a rainy day and were told there was one in the cupboard in our room (there wasn’t). The hotel provides complimentary use of a mobile telephone for calls, internet, GPS (very handy!!!), however the charger wasn’t plugged in when we arrived and the phone was out of battery. No issue but we didn’t notice until we went to take it for the day so couldn’t use it on day 1. Was interrupted a little too often by housekeeping late afternoon (5-6pm) to see if we wanted fresh towels, bottled water, candied oranges (all after the room had already been made up in the morning). One day we put Do Not Disturb on the door and then didn’t get fresh towels or complimentary water that day. We were fine with it but it could get annoying to some people, especially if you’re in your private pool when you get the knock on the door. It’s a beautiful location and lovely resort but some of those finer details need tweaking.

Amazing stay in paradise!

Lesante Blu Exclusive Beach Hotel is absolutely amazing and a slice of paradise in Zakynthos!

The staff make this hotel – they were brilliant in every way. Friendly, kind and personable and did everything they could to ensure I had a brilliant stay.

The rooms are gorgeous – the Honeymoon Suite with a private pool was sensational, and went above and beyond expectations. The room was just wow - bright, spacious, luxurious and spotlessly clean.

The infinity pool - absolutely breathtaking with lots of seating options, and was a perfect place to while away a few hours or an entire day.

The beach - a gorgeous and tranquil place to relax (note there is no wifi here so the perfect place to read or just listen to the water lapping on the shores).

The food - the restaurants were great, Ostria was my favourite with gorgeous views, delicious cocktails, lovely food (try the greek dish of the day, they are generally amazing).

The extras - the \"handy\" personal phone, the Range Rover airport transfer, the live music.

An absolutely delightful stay - one of the best places to relax and enjoy the gorgeous greek hospitality - make the most of the hotel but also make sure you leave the resort (it is hard to do so!) to check out some of the local attractions including Navagio shipwreck beach or lookout, and Xigia Beach!

We stayed at Lesante Blu on our honeymoon, and loved everything about the hotel! The staff were all very welcoming, pleasant and helpful, were very dedicated to making our stay the best it could be. We stayed in the signature suite with outdoor jacuzzi and loved it! Beautiful views of the ocean, and so nice to enjoy in the evenings when the weather cooled off. We also ate at the resort a few nights, and everything was amazing. The food was incredible, the restaurants all have beautiful views, and we even got to enjoy some live music while we were there. Would highly recommend this hotel!!

However, the private pools do not receive much direct sunlight and hence may not always be a comfortable temperature depending upon the time of the year. Lacking in some service aspects such as having to ask for refilling toiletries and water - something you would consider to be basic service in a 5 star accommodation

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Its quite a new hotel which was lovely and end of season so we really enjoyed the quiet of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful but there was the odd occasion when the service was a bit slow. Be warned, the price of food and drinks is very expensive albeit the portions are big - probably too big - share something first. Big gripe with having to pay for water - 5 star hotel and you can't drink the tap water but they will give you one glass for free at the pool and then you have to pay. Disappointing. Major impressed with you get given a mobile phone for your use on the island which was helpful! Great hotel, highly recommended!

This was the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. They upgraded us to the honeymoon suite and it was beautiful. Everyone was super helpful and attentive and they went above and beyond to take care of us. We were here for our honeymoon and they decorated the bed with rose petals, gave us a bottle of wine, basket of fruit and treated us to breakfast room service of our choice one day. They also brought you fresh water daily and treated us to an assortment of desserts one day. We would highly recommend staying here!

One of the best places I have ever stayed

I travel a lot and I can honeslty say this is one of the best places I stayed in. I am rating this place at the same level as Marina Bay Hotel in Singapore and Burj Al Arab in Dubai.
In the pictures the place look amazing but in reality it looks even better. We had the Room N:8 (The Flat) absolutely gorgeous. Private pool, private Jacuzzi, 2 floors. Champagne Reception on arrival. Spotlessly clean.. and amazing view opposite from the room.
Staff really efficient and food freshly prepared, high quality. They had a Michelin Chef who made an amazing 7 course meal. I own a Michelin Guide Restaurant back in UK plus run a boutique hotel and being in this kind of business makes me see all the good and the bad things at the place where I am staying.
I am really impressed and I will be back soon!

This hotel is awesome! Just in front of the beach, with an easy access to it and plenty of sun beds to be used by the guests. The pool area is also really nice and you can enjoy the sea view from wherever you are. The infinite pool is such a charm. The breakfast is really good with lots of varieties of food. The staff is very polite and well trained. Our room also had a private pool and a jetted tub, ready to be used and really clean. If you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy life with your spouse and to have a great time, this is the hotel!!

What I didn’t like was the fact that for two days in a row we didn’t get shower gel, shampoo body lotion and complimentary water... we had to call and ask for it.
The sun beds at the pool were always busy because some people just throw a towel on them at 8 am and come to spend time at the pool only on the afternoon. At all this time the sun beds are not free even tho for hours nobody use them. They should be more strict with this, for instance if for 1 hour nobody use them, they should give them to somebody else.

Faultless staff,wonderful hotel

My wife and I have just returned from a 7 day stay at the lesante blu, Zakynthos, and both agreed what a wonderful relaxing time we had in a beautiful hotel with ,friendly,attentive staff,always happy to make our stay one we will have fond memories of.Cannot fault this place and highly recommend it

The hotel was an amazing surprise: the location, the staff and the overall environment made our vacation an incredible experience that we will never forget. The staff is very kind, polite and professional, always attentive to meet your needs and fully enjoy your vacation.From the rooms, restaurants and pool there are stunning views over the Ionian sea. If you plan on relaxing and receive a great service this is the place to go.

Beautiful hotel and lovely staff

Pros:

- The staff. They are all extremely helpful, friendly and polite. The beach bar staff especially.
- The location. I was unsure about going to \"Zante\" and actually tried to cancel my holiday when I realised I was going there. Pleased I didn't. The hotel is secluded and has it's own beach. We did do one trip with a local excursion holiday but in the end wish we hadn't. The hotel have their own boats which you can hire and tour the island.
- Food. The food is very nice. Breakfast is the normal hotel buffet type and is perhaps the only area that I felt needed to be better, the selection wasn't fantastic, that said the quality was good. The lunch and dinner menus were really lovely.
- Mythos beer in cold glasses. What's not to like.

Cons:

- The sound proofing of the rooms isn't great. I was woken up quite alot by external noise, some from other guests and some from the other hotels at the back. The hotel should address this.
- Not the hotel but Zante airport is shocking

Property is luxurious and well designed. I liked the bright suites and very attentive and genuinely friendly staff. The best staff was Antonia welcoming at the restaurant and the other lady working in the kitchen (I'm sorry I forgot the name), who was really caring that my wife eats right products for her gluten-free diet. She was also preparing dessert especially for her, always smiling! The pool area and the pool itself was beautiful, however there should have been more sunbeds, as sometimes it was full.The beach is typical Greek with stones that you need to be careful with.
We did not receive the correct advice from he reception/concierge staff, who did not inform that there is a siesta time in the neighbouring town and that there are a very nice boat trips to be arranged, so we did not plan out stay well and actually were not satisfied with the sightseeing of the island by rented car, which burnt a lot of fuel.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. From the staff, to the room, to the beach/pool area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our flight got in really early and the staff tried their best to get us into a room ASAP even though check in wasn't until 3pm. The location was perfect not to far from Tsilivi where a lot of great restaurants are. There were also restaurants within waling distance of the hotel (8-10 min walk) . The best way to get around the Island is by renting a car. But if you don't its not the end of the world taxi's and tour guides buses (which are inexpensive) are readily always available to take you where ever you want to go. Lesante Blue surpassed my expectations and I am happy i chose this resort. I guess the only advice i can give them is room service should be 24hrs with more menu options like other resorts. After 11pm they only serve a limited variety of snacks. Would recommend to any adult!

We booked this hotel and payed top dollar to have a perfect and relaxing experience and it wound up being terrible. At first glance the hotel does look nice but when we got in our room we discovered someone else’s dirty laundry still left in the closet. I was upset with this but willing to forgive thinking it was a one in a million mistake because how could a hotel of this caliber not check their closets when cleaning the room. Then we took our hotel provided beach bag and towels to shipwreck beach and when we got the opened them up to lay out and they were covered with fecies stains. It was one of the grossest things I’ve ever seen. I don’t know what’s worst, having the hotel wash them and think they were acceptable or knowing that the housekeepers are only changing things in the room that look disturbed. I approached the front desk to complain and my worst fears were met. The housekeepers only clean what looks to be dirty. How many other towels, cups, robes or even bed sheets were not changed because the previous guests didn’t leave a noticeable stain on them. To add insult to injury, the front desk shrugged it of were quite rude about me even complaining about it. After everything they weren’t willing to do anything to satisfy me, or compensate for this comple lack of cleanliness from a supposed 5 star resort. BUYER BEWARE!!

We stayed here on a minimoon - it was the perfect place to relax, the room was comfortable and the sea view balcony was stunning. Could not fault the service - special thanks to George at the pool who looked after us on most days. Breakfast and lunch were good, however improvements could be made to dinner- we ate at the hotel on the first night and decided to go to the nearby restaurants thereafter (Prosilio is a must!) overall a lovely stay - would definitely recommend

Swish hotel with to die for infinity pool..

Hotel is fantastic - made by the views and the helpful staff. The Hotel is very well maintained and has some thoughtful 5 star touches. Very Attentive pool service with great daybeds and areas to sit, relax and enjoy the view and sun, could have a better ‘day snack menu’, not a lot of choice. Junior suite was amazing..only gripe was that the toilets are situated at back of bedroom, open plan and open top so no real privacy. Our private pool did not really feel private - you can see and hear everything from your next door neighbour when sitting out or in your pool. View of sea and nearby Island from room and hotel pool was amazing though - Hotel infinity pool is really fabulous. Rented a car to see island which I highly recommend - hotel arranged this very easily for us with no drama. Hotel Beach is small but functional. Evening Buffet and breakfast were good. Spa was also very nice. Special lobster dinner one night was overpriced, I was left underwhelmed with half the 7 course menu. Overall, would definitely stay there again, but just ditch the ‘special dinner evenings’..

nice hotel, views great but a long way from town

Good hotel, food okay but not great (pool bar was the best). We didn't book half board and were not sorry. The first evening we tried the buffet but at 38 Euros ahead, and no fresh fish, bland pasta and far to much already prepared in dishes it was not good value and not a great start.
Champagne at 20 euros a glass was also over the top, The Savoy doesn't charge that!!!
There are some fabulous restaurants in Zante town, traditional Greek and really well priced, we had the best seabass we have ever had and paid less than 20 euro's a head. Tsilivi is very 'loud' but we found a lovely restaurant at the beach/small marina that was worth the effort.
The hotel location does mean that taxi bills add up (8 euros to Tsilivi each way and 15 to Zante).
Also disappointing no yoga/pilates or other classes.
