Beautiful hotel right off the highway. We were relocating for a move from NJ to Florida with our pets and kids.

We happen to “lose” our cat and had decided to stay another day to see if our cat would turn up. We told the front desk and they sent up 4 team members to help us search our room. And they looked one place we didn’t even know about. And there was our cat. The staff really helped us a lot! And saved us time money and panic.
Thank you!

Large room, very clean. I was driving all day and arrived around 9pm so having a little pub in the hotel where I could order food and take to my room instead of having to drive around and try and find something open was great.

Many parents and grandparents (like us) were there for a nearby college graduation. Although we are not bedridden, it would have been helpful to have the use of some baggage carts to move our belongings from the parking lot to our rooms. None were available at any time we were in the facility. I understand all carts may have been in use during peak check-in and check-out periods, but I sat in the lobby during one of those times and not a single cart appeared. Having traveled for most of my professional life, I expected better from Hilton.

We were charged $6.34 I(I believe that was the charge) for Water in the room? That is the only thing we can think of anyway. The receipt did not explain what the charge was for, and we rec'd a full refund of the \"incidental\" charge that was put on the card when we checked in. If the charge was indeed for water, you should be upfront and put a price tag on the bottle or a note stating you will be charged. Most people wouldn't care, but surprise charges, no matter how small are upsetting.

The linen was dirty, yellow, and had holes in it. The bathroom had hair everywhere, like it was never cleaned. Even the ceiling in the bathroom had hair on it, so odd. The shower curtain was dirty. The bathroom products smelled really good though and the receptionist on night shift was very friendly. The girl during the day time didnt even make eye contact or smile or anything. It was a so-so experience but knowing how dirty the place is, I wouldnt stay again for the money. Equivalent to an $80 a night hotel, not the $134 we paid

Room was clean but the bathroom door swings out and hits the entry door and there are gashes in the doors and it blocks you from getting in the room if door is left open.
Bedding could be updated with some color. Somebody pulled the fire alarm about 2 in the morning, so there was a little scare but I guess it couldn't be prevented? It was turned off pretty quick and when I called down they said someone pulled it but they were checking every floor to double check.

The racist desk clerk gave one of our party (who was the same race as the employee) a funeral discount and declined the others. After contacting the manager, a refund of the difference was provided to all but two of the rooms. They stated that they will not refund those because they were booked through a third party, Expedia. This can be done and Expedia reached out to Hilton to coordinate the refund but they refused. This is poor discriminatory customer service!

He said it wasn't set right while I had it set to cool and on 69 deg and the room temp was reading 74 the whole time we were there. The room could have been cleaner!!!

The nice employees and the restaurants food.
We will never stay at a Hilton again because you were going to charge for breakfast. Since we only had a bagel we weren’t charged. A friend was charged for parking at another Hilton. On our way south we stayed in a Hilton convention center and the choice of dinner food was meager.
There are too many hotels to choose from to stay where one feels cheated !!!

This could have been a really nice stay except for some major maintenance issues as well as having someone there steal our credit card number. We were first given a room on the 4th floor across from the Exit door at the end of the hall when I explicitly asked for a quiet room so that my dog didn't bark in the middle of the night. In testing the loudness of the exit door as it closed we noticed that it got caught on the wood frame and did not properly close and this could be a major fire hazard. Totally out of compliance I would venture. The front desk tried to find another room and did upgrade us to a junior suite on the 2nd floor but our door had to the room had a similar issue. It catches on the frame and you had to pull really hard to get it shut and it made a loud sound. Then we turn the heating on and a terrible sound came out of the hvac unit. We had to turn it off and maintenance wanted to move us. There was also a lightbulb missing from a lamp on the desk that we wanted to use. We could not be bothered to move again. We also went downstairs to order food and to have delivered to our room and I accidently left my card when I signed for it. The person that delivered our food kindly brought the card up, but 3 days later our bank alerted us as food was being purchased for deliver in Roanaoke Rapids at various retaurants. It had to have been stolen there as we did not eat anywhere else in that town and did not stop for anything else while we were there for one night.
