The exterior of the hotel was a bit disappointing but the newly refurbished room was very clean and spacious, the staff were great - and so was the breakfast. Not a huge choice but more than enough options and all fresh.

The receptionist did the least she could do while remaining professional and courteous. The room was very small, and in the morning we were told as we hadn't ordered breakfast, we couldn't have it. There is nowhere nearby to buy breakfast. As a aHotels com VIP member, I was told the car park was full, so no free parking, and no room upgrade was offered. Why bother?? Lastly this hotel is a long way from the town centre, actually, it's a long way from anything! This is my first really bad review of any hotel

The receptionist was very pleasant and we were able to securely park our motorbikes and leave protective clothing and bags at noon.
We returned later to check in properly and everything went well.
The room is comfortable, the bed huge and the roof terrasse stunning.
Slight downsides were the quality of the toilet paper and tissues and exterior noises from 6am (we were on the ground floor)
Pleasing things were the soft bedding, proper coffee machine, real water glasses and coffee cups and convenient location.

We had a lovely nights stay here a few nights ago. We were kindly upgraded on arrival and had a room with a balcony which was nice. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the tea/coffee facilities in the room. The roof terrace is also lovely! Would definitely recommend

In a quiet area, about 15-20 minutes walk to the centre of the town. There are bars and restaurants closer. Arcachon is a fabulous place, lovely beaches, gorgeous town with quality shops and restaurants. This hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. Standard double room (and its bathroom) is quite small though and ours was directly onto the placement and road outside. Reception is also reminiscent of a medical waiting room.

Should really be The Little Grand Atlantic Hotel

Hotel is certainly Grand in ambition but not in size so dont expect a substantial building but do expect everything to be very well done & every square centimetre to be put to good use. Under most owners this would be a shabby 2 star hotel but it shows you what a bit of imagination & vision can do as this place really punches above its weight..

Don't be fooled by the stars...

4-star hotel?!! Three would be already a gift. I'm 5'5\" and I could barely fit in the room. To leave the bed, I had to crawl in order to find more space. AC didn't work - it it was 80F outside. Awful night.

I find the front desk staff a little snobbish but at the end accommodating. After been told that there is no restaurant near by unless I walk to the station or downtown ( by the concierge) I ordered a pizza delivered to my room because I was exhausted. The day after I find a restaurant hotel next door; 25 metres away...\"The Ostrei\" that seems pretty good. I don't understand why they didn't mentioned it?

Best first night sleep ever

Best first night sleep ever in a hotel,very comfortable bed and the black out roller shutter keep room dark and quite. All the staff where NATURALLY friendly and very helpful. All staff at front desk had good English. Had not planned to need the kitchenette but it did come in useful. Allow about a mile from the city centre most of the walk can done alone the boardwalk and promenade. The marina is just 2 mins walk away and if you walk the road that runs parallel to the marina ( to the right from hotel) you will come across a cafe, a Boulanger and a few other shops. The roof solarium has a great 360 view and is a good place to relax.

Modern hotel in a very quiet street with plenty of parking, either on the street or behind in the car park. It's a short walk to the beach and the port area with bars and restaurants. The centre of town is a little further, but still not far and a nice walk along the beach. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room I had was rather small, but adequate for one. Large flat screen TV, tea and coffee, a safe, a kitchenette with microwave, fridge, hob. Bathroom was also a little small but fine and included a good shower and a hairdryer. It was a bit cold to use the rooftop terrace but it had nice views across the neighbourhood and would be nice for pre-dinner drinks if warm enough. I didn't try the breakfast. The main criticism was that my room was right by the breakfast room so a little noisy early in the morning and right by the rear entrance which meant everyone could look straight into the room. It was ok so long as I kept the curtains closed - but I didn't want to block out the lovely sunlight! This wouldn't put me off staying again though and in fact I'm hoping to go back later in the year.

We stayed one night in a standard room in early May. The hotel is modern with some good features but generally lacks any charm. The bed was large and comfortable but left hardly any floor space in the room. The balcony was also very small. We paid extra for a sea view but i wouldn't bother another time - you mainly see houses with a few boats in the distance. Bathroom was well equipped - the best feature.

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly and helpful. Room immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. The room was a double and ok for one person but a bit small for two if you were staying longer than a night. Very good location and only a short 10min walk to town. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection but could do with more staff as there was only one girl trying to do everything.
Overall a really good experience and I would love to return.

Pleasant New Hotel

This hotel offers good value for money. The location is good, within walking distance from Arcachon train station and only a few blocks from the beach and the port. As the hotel is new all the amenities are very modern and clean. The staff were very charming and friendly. When I checked in I was offered help in organising my holidays and finding my way around Arcachon. I would definitively stay there again.

Au début, j'ai eu peur quand j'ai vu la chambre trop petite, cabine de douche cassée et au 1er étage côté rue. J'ai demandé si on pouvait me changer de chambre et ils ont été très sympa et avenant. J'ai été bluffé par l'hôtel car malgré son style 3 *, ils sont en train de le rénover complètement à l'intérieur. L'hôtel est bien situé même si un peu excentré mais proche du port et de la plage d'Arcachon. On peut y louer un vélo pour de très belles balades. Je reviendrai sûrement dans cet hôtel très sympa et convivial, le petit déjeuner est bien fourni et le personnel au petit soin.

Jusqu'à présent les Best western que j'ai fréquenté avait espace salon digne de ce nom avec un bar et barman. Dans celui ci rien de tout cela. Quelle déception. En plus dans le descriptif de la chambre il devrait y avoir un minibar. Il est dit aussi dans le descriptif Parking en libre service, or il est payant.
WC danw la SdB, bof! Par contre bonne literie, petit déjeuner de qualité.

J'ai été très déçu par l'hôtel. J'avais demandé par mail une place de parking. Pas de réponse de la part de l'hôtel.
J'ai compris pourquoi en arrivant à l'établissement. Le parking est inaccessible car des travaux sont en court. On ne répond pas de peur de perdre un client !
J'était du côté d'Arcachon pour raison professionnel. Aucune place correct pour y poser mon ordinateur.
La propreté n'est pas exceptionnelle non plus.
Je retourne très prochainement sur le secteur, je changerai d'établissement.

La situation est correcte de même que la taille et confort de la chambre familiale réservée même si vue côté parking.Les chiens sont les bienvenus. L’eco responsabilité est le point fort. L’état général est plutôt fatigué et la salle de pdj en sous sol est trop petite. La propreté de notre chambre à l’arrivée était horrible et ma femme a préféré gérer la propreté du lieu pendant le séjour. Le service est très hétérogène au niveau des personnes croisées. De l’amabilité mais également beaucoup d’incompétence et souvent aucune véritable préoccupation du client.Tendance confirmée par les autres clients qui partageaient notre avis avec un peu de dérision et d’impuissance Surtout qu’avec ce niveau de qualité globalement inférieur à un 3 étoiles déjà peu exigeant le prix devient exhorbitant. Enfin malgré nos plaintes exprimées sur place la direction est aux abonnés absents ce qui explique la prestation qui impacte l’image et la réputation best western versus notre expérience très positive au Canet plage certes avec une direction au top

Nous sommes mitigés sur l'avis à donner sur notre séjour.
L'hôtel est confortable, la chambre assez spacieuse (chambre deluxe).
Le rooftop est sympa.
Le café et thé sont à volonté dans le salon du RDC.
Par contre le personnel n'est pas des plus aimable.
En effet, lorsque nous sommes arrivés, en tant que membre silver Hôtels.com, le parking était gratuit. Il a fallu que j'insiste car le réceptionniste (un stagiaire) ne me croyait pas.
Quand nous sommes entrés dans notre chambre, des outils traînaient sur le meuble du lavabo et des serviettes étaient jonchées sur le sol.
Je suis redescendue à la réception où j'ai trouvé le technicien qui m'a dit qu'il devait finir de déboucher la canalisation et changer le siphon.
Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre à maintes reprises. Car nous aurions préféré une chambre avec vue sur mer qui était sans supplément mais qu'il aurait fallu préciser au moment de la réservation (dixit la réceptionniste blonde). Après vérification, il s'avère que des chambres étaient disponibles, mais personne n'a daigné nous en faire bénéficier malgré nos demandes, alors que nous sommes restés 3 nuits.
L'homme de ménage venait d'être embauché, de même que la serveuse du petit déjeuner.
Le personnel semblait débordé alors qu'il n'y avait quasiment personne.
La deuxième nuit, le lit n'a même pas été refait, la housse de couette a juste été remontée vite fait.
Et les draps n'ont jamais été changés.
Ce qui est sûr c'est que nous n'y retournerons pas.

Grosses komfortables Zimmer im 3. Stock mit Blick auf das Bassin d Arcachon. Zimmer wie Bad konnte man mit Schiebetüren zum Balkon öffnen, sehr fein. Schlafkomfort ruhig trotz Strassenlage. Tolle Dachterrasse, leider nicht in Betrieb, das ist extrem schade. Kontinentales Frühstück im Keller hat mich nicht überzeugt.

We booked a superior room and got a tiny room towards the street. According to the escape plan it was the smallest room i the building! The receptionist didn't speak any english. The room was dusty with dirty surfaces and so small it was hard to walk around the bed. The add said soundproof but you could hear the neighbour fart.

Problem med att hitta parkering. Hotellet hade några få som naturligtvis var upptagna.Vårt rum var extremt litet. Dock var dusch och separat toa helt ok. Rent o snyggt.Frukost serverades från 07:00 men varken yoghurt, bröd eller ägg o bacon var framme. Först Vid 7:30 var frukostbordet komplett.
