The room was perfect size for the standard that we chose. However, for a 4* hotel I expect some amenity of some sort. They have no bar, no gym, no restaurant and therefore no room service per se.
They only have one elevator which can be time consuming to try and get on since everyone shares the same elevator including hotel staff.
We went to check the breakfast and for 21 euros I expected more than scrambled eggs that looked like pale mush and not appealing bacon or sausage. I would rather go next door to hotel and get a coffee and croissant.

We were greeted by two friendly staff members. They were helpful directing us where to go to find a boat cruise and good places for dinner. We were pleased with the ocean view from our room. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The hotel was well located to the beach, shopping as well as restaurants.

The most perfect location possible. The superior room was a very good size, well appointed and included fridge and beverages. The only criticism was that the double bed was actually 2 single beds attached to each other, which was not stated at the time of booking. The parking was excellent value for such a busy town and the staff were charming.

For my first holiday on my own I couldn't have picked a better hotel. I stayed three nights. The staff were friendly, the room was lovely, bed very comfortable. Theres a fridge which I bought fresh milk to put in for my tea. The TV has a good selection of English channels. The is a supermarket 5 minutes from the hotel which i bought brioche for breakfast each day. Will choose this hotel again.

Nice bright, modern hotel near the beach

A bright modern hotel, le B has a great location near the beach. The room was spacious, the shower fantastic and the bed was super comfortable. The decor was slightly scruffy, especially in the shower room and one of my pet grouses was that, with the tea and coffee in the room, they provide very small evaporated/condensed milks which are awful. In The UK we have the long life tots of milk which are miles better. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return some time.

Great location, compact hotel & room, but pleasant & stylish. Breakfast busy, helpful staff but not big enough area for food so constant replenishing & slight wait though not a real problem with friendly service. Secure hotel underground parking, but max height 1.9m so no good for our VW Van with kayak on roof rack. Local street parking outside though & seemingly a very safe area as all absolutely fine.

Very Rude Staff

Was charged for nights I did not use due to a booking error. Never received confirmation and did not have an address for the hotel. They did not contact me until days after the scheduled check in. Then I just found two charges on my card for several hundred dollars. When I called them, they refused to refund any charges and cited some policy. Ridiculous.

Balcony unusable but otherwise nice hotel

Perfectly placed hotel on the beach, lovely area and very helpful staff. Our room was meant to have a balcony with a city view, however we had the end room with a balcony with a view of a wall. Only half of the balcony was accessible meaning it really wasn’t useable and was really unappealing. This really let the hotel down, they would be better off advertising this room without the balcony so that the guests are left appreciating what little there is instead of focusing on comparing it to what was advertised as it then comes up short.

Fab room with air con. Meters from the beach. Clean good condition with comfortable bed. There was a mini fridge and hot drink making facilities. Lovely balcony which was a really good size. This was our second visit and would gladly return. We didn’t have the breakfast but our friends did and said that it was good.

The reception by everyone on duty at different times was friendly and helpful. Due to a heat wave unexpected in April the room
Was quite hot as air conditioning had not yet been started (done first of May) but they quickly produced a modern Dyson fan to help circulate the air for us. Great location next to the beach and the casino and close to the train station as well but very quiet.

Great location

The hotel is just feet from the beach and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. There is plenty of street parking at the beach which is better than trying to use the hotel parking. It turns out you have to reserve parking if you want to use the hotel parking lot. We called a week before to find out if our large SUV would fit and the person we spoke to never reserved a spot for us. The parking was fullnwheb we arrived so we had to park on the street.
The rooms are a little small but very comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a very nice selection of breads, croissants, hams, cheeses, fruit. I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is located on the sea front close to many sea front restaurants and other attractions. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is pleasantly furnished and decorated and there was a plentiful choice of items available at the buffet.
The hotel is of modern design and recently refurbished.

Lovely stay!

Lovely fresh clean room with great view. Balcony had a steep step up from the room but once on its really good size and on soft astro grass so no scraping of chairs and pleasent. Table and chairs not horrible white plastic cheap but rattan type. Had a fridge in it which was fantastic and very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Our room was a good size with an extremely large, comfortable bed. It was well appointed (liked having a separate toilet and bathroom plus a choice of bath or walk-in shower) and designed. With large windows it was light and airy and we had a lovely view of the bay. Despite being next to the lift this could not be heard.

Wide range of items available at breakfast including, surprisingly, some hot items although we did not have these preferring the fresh fruit, bread and pastries. The male attendant was very welcoming and helpful. The price at 15 euros per person seemed a bit high.

Arrived in 38 degree heat for one night stay.Pleasant and apologetic staff advised air con was broken and no hot water . Neither was fixed during our stay. Room was clean and otherwise comfortable. Street view room was noisy particularly with workmen in the early hours and had to have window open because of the heat.

This is a modern hotel that offers convenient parking for a fee and a full fabulous breakfast. The shower is slippery, they ought to install sand strips to prevent falling. The air conditioning did not go on, so the room was hot at night and hotel front staff seemed uneducated about how to make it work.

Very nice hotel right across from the beach. We had a sea view room and had a great view. Good breakfast and a very good restaurant right next door. There is a parking garage, which is important as parking is a premium here. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Perfect for a weekend at the beach!

Great hotel on the edge of town & overlooking the sea.
We Stayed for 2 nights - room was large, comfortable and smartly decorated.
The in room fridge and safe were appreciated.
Staff were efficient, but not overly attentive.
The Underground parking had reasonably sized spaces.
Restaurants were below the hotel and plentiful, if a little expensive.
Would recommend the hotel if others were staying in the area.

Convenient position of hotel

The hotel is within handy distance from the station, and for the bus facilities, but also close to the beach to be able to pop down for a quick swim or to stay the day there.
There are plenty of restaurents within a 5 minute or less walk from the hotel, and it is safe to go for a stroll along the seafront in the evening after one has eaten.
We shall definitely be returning there next year.

Good hotel - modern, good size room, super comfortable super-king bed. Lots of hot water and clean, modern shower. Very friendly and helpful staff. Particularly recommend hiring the bikes! Breakfast a bit pricey. Right on the beach front, which would be great except for the incredibly noisy, blaring DJ going on for most of the day and evening. Nothing to do with the hotel, just part of the summer scene. If staying in high summer recommend asking for a room on the road side rather than beach side.

Perfect location, but unbearably hot room

Location-wise it really doesn't get much better: just a few steps from the beach and the promenade with lots of bars and restaurants, but also just a few minutes walk to the city centre. Car-park is available, but we stayed only one night and parked right across from the hotel at a parking lots that a free from 7pm until 9am. Service was efficient, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was alright, though not as good as some reviews might suggest. In retrospective we would have preferred to have it in an outdoor cafe.
Our room with partial sea view was spacious, nicely appointed and spotlessly clean.
If all was well, then why an average rating? Because our room was unbearably hot. Even at it's coolest setting, the air-con blew nothing nut hot air; and since the room was facing west, all the afternoon heat got trapped in there. Our room was also on the top floor, which quite possibly added to the heat. We opened all windows, but with almost no breeze it wasn't much help either.
Despite the fact that everything else was great, it lacked the most important factor - sleep comfort. My advice would be to just avoid rooms facing west in summer, unless it has proper air-con.

That was a short stay for a couple of days. Location of the hotel is excellent and it is just renovated and looks quite new. the stuff are very freindly and always ready to help. They speak English, what is really important for this part of France.

Clean and modern and by the beach

A few days by the sea. The hotel was very modern and clean , in a near-beachside location.
There were some maintenance problems with two rooms and we ended up being moved twice due, apparently, to the impossibility of obtaining a technician over a weekend. Can this really be the way a modern , international hotel is maintained, ie. not having sufficient staff to provide a 24-hour repair service?
Nevertheless, the staff were invariably helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Good breakfast selection, and a nice albeit small lounge area with vending machines to get a coffee or snack. Ideal location in the centre of arcachon, lots of nearby restaurants bars and cafés , wouldn't hesitate to go back!

Venus pour une étape d'une journée sur le Bassin d'Arcachon, nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Personnel très accueillant et arrangeant.
Chambre très confortable et spacieuse, avec de petites attentions pour les enfants.

Emplacement idéal à quelques mètres du front de mer avec possibilité d'emprunter serviettes et jeux de plage.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. We stayed for one night with our kids and our dog. Clean room, prepared with a dog bed and bowl for food and water. Nice staff who was very helpful before arrival and during the stay. Just beside the beach with a large parking lot as well. Fresh breakfast:-). Recommmended.

Hotel bien situado al borde Del Mar. Habitación y baño funcionales, tamaño normal. Servicio no muy amable pero correcto. No se levantan de su mesa para nada.
Más un 3estrellas que cuatro por instalaciones, recepción y zonas comunes.
19 euros por un desayuno una exageración. Hay al lado propuestas dignas y suficientes por la mitad.
