Our stay was amazing. This hotel is perfect for those who enjoy quiet and peaceful time. It is located on the quiet side of the island, so get a car if you will explor around but if you want just to rest, no need to rent a car as you have great beach, food and hotel walkable distance. Beach was great. They offer umbrellas and sunbed free of charge by the beach. By the beach there is s guy renting water sports equipment (SUP, pedalling and kayak). Not the best area for snorkeling unless you get a SUP and go close to rocks.

Back to hotel: Breakfast was brilliant and views are amazing. Service wise everyone (from reception, to restaurant, cleaners and vallet services) was very cordial, super friendly and always willing to help. I loved the scent as well. They should offer to sell it! It's super good.
Pool bar in the other hotel is also great, so it is a plus that we can use both spaces (best gelatto ever!).

What could be better: Small gym. Well equiped for cardio but very few equipements for other workouts and not many options of weights. Room lacks a full size mirror and bathroom is very dark. It lacks light for a proper make-up. It is pretty dark.

If you enjoy local food: at least one day go to their dinner buffet. It is very good (quality vs. price) but also enjoy restaurant on the other side (Restaurant Port de Balansat). The best paella and aioli in the island 😉

We will definitely come back for other relaxing long weekends.

Nice Getaway On The Beach

So we knew what we were getting when we booked this. This all inclusive hotel was actually cheaper than most apartments in Ibiza so you get what you pay for right? We just wanted something with a pool, close to the beach and with everything included. This served the purpose for us.
Rooms were fine, air con worked and wasn’t noisy. The toilet smelled a little bit we were close to the beach and we were on the 1st floor. The balcony was addiquate but nothing amazing, the view was beautiful though.
The hotel only has 2 lifts that serve 8 floors. A lot of the time we took the stairs because the wait for the lift was a long time. The main restaurant was on the 8th floor so we were strategic about when we went to dinner given the lift situation.
The food was varied in the restaurant and it was good enough for us. We enjoyed the fish night a lot. The pool side bar offers American style burgers, hotdogs, chips etc. I could see that getting a bit boring but we only grabbed one lunch there.
2 pools which weren’t crowded, lots of sun beds. Pool side games and entertainment throughout the day. Beach was also right there and a fantastic place to snorkel, lots of fish. Beach had boats, kayaks etc to hire for the kids.
The evening entertainment was cheesy but my 6 year old was way in to it and we sat and enjoyed drinks while he participated.
Drinks were good and lots of options for the kids too.
Taxi from the airport 35-40 euros.

Good hotel, good for walks/explorers

Myself and my family (4 adults and 3 children) stayed at Club Cartago for a week, week commencing on 13/10/2018.

We was told the hotel was closing for the winter on the day of our departure with renovations due to take place throughout the hotel during the winter months. As the holiday progressed the resort began to close down but it was good to see all on offer at the beginning of the holiday.

The resort is clean, with everything you need in walking distance (supermarket, car hire etc). There are water sports (pedalos, banana boat etc) - The man who works there is rude so he did not get our custom. You have to pay extra for the sun beds and parasols each day and they were not cheap.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are of an acceptable standard. All is in need of an update, furniture is a bit worn and walls need painting - Hopefully the renovation work will address this. The beds were comfy and there is air conditioning. The bath in the room was a nice addition. The maid attends daily, makes the beds, changes towels and has a general clean around.

The food was acceptable but it was repetitive. Fish and chicken daily, but with other bits changing. The cheese board, muscles and clams were a nice addition too though these were not a regular occurrence.

Myself and another from our party enjoy walking and there are some amazing walks in each direction, into the hills and along the coastline.

We travelled in October as family of 4. Weather for the main was very good for this time of year. Hotel is slightly dated but wonderful location for the kids with access direct to beach from hotel. Food was good but not a huge selection. We stayed in family room which was spacious and cleaned daily All in all we found it fantastic value for money in a nice location with easy transport links to Ibiza town etc. Provided you are not turning up expecting a 5 star resort you should have a great holiday.

The hotel is perfect for a family holiday. The food is nice with quite a wide selection on offer which managed to keep both our rather fussy kids happy. The beach in San Miguel bay could not be any nearer, and was the best family beach that we tried throughout the entire island.

Great location wasted because this hotel is very disappointing. The AC was broken and needed to be reset every 2 hours..... looking at it I’m surprised it worked at all. The room was very dated as was much of the inside of the hotel. The food was TERRIBLE with a buffet made up of low quality choices, and the evening snack was ghastly with something that was trying to resemble ham as the main offering. If you choose this property then don’t get your expectations too high, it will be a very average experience in a lovely location where the staff also appear to be disillusioned and indifferent.

The hotel location is great, set on the side of a cliff around a beautiful beach, however because of the all inclusive nature of the hotel (at a reasonable price) the quality of the food was very poor.

Value for money hotel!

Really good value for money stay with a nice pool for adults and a fun pool for kids. Great beach with a range of things to do; e.g., hire boats and go on glass bottom boat rides. A tad noisy at night but on the whole, I would highly recommend a stay. Only half an hour from the airport on a good run.

Great hotel complex for families and children.Staff all very nice.Requested a room on same floor as my sister prior to our arrival. Entertainment staff all very nice. Zorro great laugh '2 for a fiver'. Went some nights after all inclusive ended to Casey's Irish bar just across from hotel. Very busy, if you don't like noise close veranda door. Brexit has a lot to answer for, euro rate in hotel rubbish, my friend changed £100 and only received 102 euro!Buy a plastic tumbler in hotel if you want a decent sized drink on all inclusive (also helps the environment) Great choice of ice lollies which are very like the real Magnums, cornetto's etc. Wifi only downside. In this day and age we shouldn't need to pay 20euro for a week's wifi in such a large complex. As we were there for 11 days would have been 40 euro, I bought a weeks supply only and used the little bars around the corner for some more. Paid 5 euro on the last day for a few hours as needed boarding passes and had to view emails. Although we stayed in Hotel Cartago as my neice was below in Club San Miguel with younger children we mainly stayed around their pool by day and night entertainment beside Western Saloon is there also. Ate mainly in our hotel, food superb, great choices. You had to book the previous day to eat at other hotel. Chinese restaurant in 8th floor has to have prior booking, just O.K, Main dining also 8th floor, watch out if busy times for lift queues! Great family holiday, would return.

Girls holiday to celebrate a 30th birthday - fantastic secluded location although was sometimes difficult to get a seat round the pool. Lovely beach as an alternative with some great water sports (recommend hiring the paddle boats with the slide and heading off into the bay for a couple of hours!)
Would recommend hiring a car if you stay here so you can access some of the other parts of the island. Parking is very limited at the hotel so be prepared to walk up the hill if you return later at night.
Although we were all inclusive, the local restaurants in the town were fabulous.
Would definitely consider staying again.

Fantastic location in a beautiful bay.

The hotel way very good, clean and excellent food. The staff were helpful and friendly and there were no language difficulties. The location was fantastic!

Rooms were clean and adequate but were fairly basic. The bathroom would benefit from modernisation. The air conditioning would not run for more than approx 2hrs meaning that you woke up too hot during the night; this really needs addressing!

Food was very good quality and catered for various tastes. The Chinese was excellent but was difficult to book (had to be booked several days in advance for groups larger than 4).

The only real grumble was the lifts which were inadequate for the amount of people. We were on the 7th floor of 8 and it regularly skipped our floor, filled up on the 8th floor before stopping at ours full!!

I would recommend this hotel.

Good quiet family hotel and resort.

The hotel was situated about 40 mins via a private transfer from the airport. It is situated on a steep hill above a lovely cove which has a sandy beach with a range of watersports and boat trips. The reception, restuarants and cocktail bar (9.30pm to 11pm) are at level 8 and the pool at level 0, and then a ramp down to the beach hotel, beach western bar. Food in main restuarant was varied and good and you could book the chinese restaruant 24 hrs in advance. Western bar was open noon to 11pm and snacks cooked freshly noon to 6pm included hotdogs, burgers, chicken nuggets, chips and tuna salad/sandwich available. Choice of 3 bar in hotel, 1 at western bar and you could use the bars, pool of the beach club as well. Choice of every type of drink. Bought a big refillable plastic beaker for 2 euros as otherwise drinks served in small plastic cups. Never any real queues at the bar. You could ask for cornettos, magnums, juice lollies at the pool bar. The nighly entertainment was not very good, except a couple of nights when they had more professional acts on. Buses go beside the beach to the hippy market on a Wedensday and are very cheap compaed to orgainised tours. it is a quiet family orientated resort, which has a gift shop and one supermarket in the resort. Rooms very clean, only problem was that air conditioning is set to turn off every two hours, which means you wake up very hot during the night an dhave to turn it on.

Good Location, Good Facilities, but!

Excellent location and very well looked after hotel in general, with the exception of the Western SallonBar, which was frankly grubby and unwelcoming and seemed only to offer poor junk food.
Catering in the hotel was mainly very good with quiet a variety of good well prepared food on offer. Spolit by the undrinkable restaurant mechine made coffee etc. The orange juice was abismal watered down tartazine! This same, only more watered down version was used in the bars to make cocktails, which in turn were undrinkable. There was a large ammount of extra charges, wi-Fi, rooom safe, etc that seemed a little pricy when compaired to other hotels. The opening times of bars and restaurants were quite restricted and not very convininet. For example the Chines resaurant, that had to be pre-booked, only opened for one hour (7-8). This leasd to a stampeed when it opened of guest trying to get food from the tiny servery and eat thier \"special\" meal in a hour. All in all a resort with masses of potential, s short on the small details, but these are the little things that make you unsure if you will return.

Good value family holiday lots of activities and best of all on the beach we had a good room with amazing sea view room cleaned every day - clean bedding new towels
We loved going on the aqua bus to see the sunset at San Antonio and going to the hippy market on the bus (air condoned coach) both good value
We enjoyed the cocktails at night in the cocktail bar

Schöne, moderne Unterkunft mit viel Potential, das leider nicht genutzt wird.

Wir waren zum dritten Mal in diesem Hotel und vermutlich auch zum letzten Mal. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und weitläufig, hat viel Potential, entspricht aus heutiger Sicht aber weitem keinem 5 Sterne Standard. Leider gab es für uns zu viele Faktoren, die wir als störend bzw. nicht schön empfanden. Angefangen bei einem Zimmer, welches insbesondere zu Beginn sehr unangenehm gerochen hat, in dem die Dusche undicht war und wir von draußen Besuch von sämtlichen Krabbeltierchen bekamen. Das Servicepersonal wirkte auf uns überhaupt nicht eingespielt, war unaufmerksam und hat Bestellungen teilweise vergessen.

Wundervolles neues Hotel in der Cala San Miguel

Das Hotel an sich ist wundervoll. Staff ist unglaublich freundlich und behilflich. Die Zimmer sind praktisch und schön eingerichtet und die Lage an der Bucht ist ein Traum.
Das Frühstücksbuffet hat alles, was das Herz begehrt. Der Service hier ist leider ein bisschen arg langsam, wenn man das Wichtigste des Frühstücks erfragt: Kaffee. Man wartet da manchmal 20-30 Minuten auf das Getränk, dass dann schon etwas kalt ist und abgestanden aussieht. Da gibt es Verbesserungsbedarf.
2 kleine Lifte für das gesamte Hotel und das Service Personal (Wäsche Trolleys, Cleaning Trolleys und anderes) sind zu wenig. Da ist man schneller wenn man die 8 Stockwerke von der Rezeption zum Pool runterläuft…oder auch rauf.
Wenn man mit dem Auto anreist, braucht man auch Geduld, da nur wenige Autos am Hotel Platz haben. Der Valet Service tut sein Bestes, die Autos von einem Feld/Parkplatz am Rande des Ortes zu holen. Dauert manchmal auch ne Weile.
Wenn sich die Staff eingegrooved hat, wird die Experience nächstes Jahr sicher noch besser.
Wir haben im neuen Hotel gewohnt…das kleinere, etwas ältere Hotel firmiert unter dem gleichen Namen.

Magnifique hôtel située dans un lieu exceptionnel

Notre séjour était superbe nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre sœurs dans ce bel hôtel magnifiquement situé
La vue de notre chambre était splendide le personnel très agréable et professionnel
La nourriture était variée et en grande quantité
J’ai préféré les desserts aux entrées
Le poisson’ et la viande assez bien cuisiné
Par contre les plats pas toujours tops car manque de sel et d’assaisonnement mais dans l’ensemble on y mange très bien car il y a énormément de choix
Le petit déjeuner est copieux mais les viennoiseries pas très bonnes
L’hôtel est d’une propreté irréprochable
Les animations sont tops et les shows proposés le soir ont été vraiment magnifiques
Une équipe et un hôtel au top rien à ajouter
J’y retourner sans hésiter

Hotel sul mare con panorama mozzafiato. Bella spiaggia e bel mare trasparente (tantissimi pesci). Lettini e ombrelloni a pagamento ma comunque tanti posti su spiaggia libera. Tantissime le attività da fare in spiaggia ma a pagamento. Camere curate con letti comodi. Bellissimo e comodo terrazzino. Il bagno é cieco e senza aereazione ed é un problema in 4 , bisognerebbe ristrutturare in quanto molto datato. Pulizie buone. Asciugamani sempre fresche e pulite. Servizio reception ottimo .Tutti gentili, sorridenti e cordiali (grazie in particolare ad Arianna) e parlano in italiano . Cucina da migiorare per gli standard italiani ma grazie al bravissimo chef Claudio che si inventava sempre qualcosa di buono. Bravo, volenteroso, pieno di entusiasmo e molto gentile. Grande !!! Simpatica , allegra, gentile e brava anche Mary animatrice di Swantour, con cui abbiamo fatto la bellissima escursione a Formentera. Parcheggi gratis sia vicino alla reception che giù (dietro la piscina), abbiamo sempre trovato posto. Piscine gradevoli con bagnini. Sdraio sempre disponibili . Carino l'aperitivo al Tapa Tapa bar dopo le 17 . Peccato poter prendere solo 3 pezzetti di pane e che non facciano cocktails. Ci si aspetterebbe di piu da un all inclusive. Troppa attesa per hot dog e hamburger nel locale vicino alle piscine. Ok perché fatti al momento ma un solo cuoco é davvero poco. Animazione insufficiente sia durante il giorno che alla sera e considerata la zona piuttosto isolata se ne sente la mancanza

Hotel silenzioso con vista spettacolare sia dalla camera che dalla sala pranzo. Orari per i pasti flessibili e buffet sempre vario e ben organizzato. Disponibilità di due piscine con bar annessi. Spiaggia comodissima non attrezzata. Negozietti nei dintorni con tutto il necessario a prezzi molto moderati. Parcheggio gratuito in zona. Pulizia hotel ottima sia nelle parti comuni che nelle camera (pulizia giornaliera ottima). Manutenzione super organizzata al minimo problema. Aria condizionata nella camera. Forse unica notanegativa ascensore un po’ lento.

Consigliatissimo per famiglie, ottimo per intrattenimento dei bambini che a quanto ho potuto notare avevano da fare per tutto il giorno con gli animatori. Accesso diretto alla spiaggia,cosa non da poco considerando che si è su una cala. La cala è bellissima con sabbia grossolana e acqua limpidissi, va giù velocemente ma merita. Non fateci ingannare dal fatto che l hotel sia datato perché è davvero tenuto pulitissimo.

Prachtige lokatie! Helaas heel erg verouderd: de kamer en badkamer zijn dringend aan vernieuwing toe. Het is een typisch all in hotel waarvan de ziel ontbreekt: buffetten met grootkeuken eten, weinig karakter en ondermaatse drankjes ( zowel alcoholisch als non-alcoholisch).

Todo bien , estaba bastante limpio y se veía al personal limpiando todo el tiempo, estuvimos 4 días y la habitación la hicieron casi todos los días.
Lo único que se podría decir encontra es el parquing con pococas plazas para la capacidad del Hotel , también la afluencia en horas puntas en los ascensores.

Posto fantastico tutto a portata di mano, ideale per famiglie. Consiglio di noleggiare un'auto per poter uscire la sera con distanze max di mezz'ora
Compresa eivissa . A 3km la bellissima spiaggia di benirras dove si può vedere un tramonto unico. La struttura è un po' vecchiotta..L Animazione inesistente per chi la volesse.ma.non era il nostro caso..sicuramente da ristrutturare un po' ma nonostante ciò avevamo camera vista mare bella ..avendo preso la superior anche spaziosa con un ulteriore stanza e terrazzo grande. Cibo buono per un italiano è difficile dire ottimo, ma devo dire che nonostante le recensioni lette..era vario e siamo rimasti più che soddisfatti.c'era il saloon in spiaggia con bibite gelati granite tutto il giorno .Inoltre prenotando con expedia abbiamo risparmiato più di 800 euro scegliendo il volo con orari comodi rispetto a chi lo ha fatto tramite tour operator. Cosa non c'è piaciuto? Nulla.

ho soggiornato 11 giorni da sola con due bambini. mi è piaciuto molto l'ampio orario di accesso al ristorante per i pasti...la qualità dei pasti è buona, considerando che non siamo in italia. per la colazione c'è molta scelta per i cibi salati ma poca per la tipica colazione italiana..suggerirei di aggiungere al buffet qualche biscotto e qualche fetta di torta!
sull'all inclusive io che non bevo nessun tipo di alcolico avrei gradito un piccolo sconto o la possibilità di avere gratuitamente l'acqua in bottiglia: quella dei distributori era orribile!!
il personale è molto gentile e disponibile. ho avuto subito un problema con la doccia ma è stato prontamente risolto.
mi aspettavo una migliore organizzazione del mini club: le ragazze sono gentili ma non fanno attività accattivanti, a parte i balli della sera. mi ha stupito l'aver dovuto pagare ben 3 euro al giorno per avere la chiave della cassaforte..solitamente la forniscono gratuitamente. mi ha scocciato parecchio aver dovuto pagare l'accesso al WIFI : 20 euro a settimana per due dispositivi e funzionava malissimo!!! io avevo portato del lavoro da fare ma ho avuto parecchie difficoltà di connessione: un servizio si deve far pagare quando funziona bene, altrimenti è inutile illudere...avere la spiaggia a due passi è molto comodo ma l'ombrellone non è compreso: io vado al mare per stare in spiaggia, non in piscina! potrebbero prevedere almeno uno sconto sul noleggio ombrellone....

positivo: la struttura grande e ben organizzata, la pulizia delle piscine, il servizio all'inclusive a qualsiasi ora, i vari bar presenti ovunque, la spiaggia vicina senza dover attraversare la strada, le docce in spiaggia e in piscina, cibo buona la varietà e la quantità

da migliorare: la pulizia delle camere (i condizionatori erano pieni di polvere alla prima accensione e da uno di questi è caduta una blatta...)

Albergo moltl carino e completo molto simile ad un villaggio. Ottima cura ai dettagli, personale gentilissimo e sempre disponibile. La struttura dá su una delle spiagge più belle dell'isola.
Assolutamente esperienza da ripetere.

Hemos pasado 8 días,en general la estancia ha sido buena.
Soy multialergica alimentaria y quiero decir que muy pocas veces me han tratado tan bien y hecho la vida tan fácil,el equipo de comedor y cocina.
Destacar a Isaac,Cristell y Choni por su trabajo y dedicación,siempre con una sonrisa y ayudando en todo lo que podían,desde luego volveremos.

Wat echt top is aan dit hotel is het uitzicht op zee. Verder is het hotel matig ooit een mooi hotel geweest en nooit meer wat aan gedaan. Eten was niet echt gevarieerd en matig qau smaak wel warm. Verder is de ligging heel rustig dus niet gezicht al je wat reuring zoek. Wij zouden hier niet meer na toe gaan.

Locatie was prima, aan het strand en alles per lift bereikbaar.
Personeel heel onvriendelijk, eten heel simpel, maar prima. Familiekamer belachelijk klein. Was gewoon een tweepersoonskamer waar een extra tweepersoonsbed was in gepropt.

Struttura imponente, datata ma comunque dotata di ogni comfort e gestito davvero bene. La vista dalle camere e’ davvero di quelle da ricordare. Aprendo la tenda e la porta finestra la mattina diciamo che la giornata comincia con un altro passo. Contrariamente a quanto letto nelle recensioni viste online abbiamo mangiato davvero bene. Menu’ vario con carne (pollo principalmente) e pesce, sempre presenti. Paella una volta sola, ma molto molto buona. Qualita’ generale molto buona, personale molto attento e pulito. Servizio davvero completo... Comode le strutture collegate all’Hotel. Bar vicino alla piscina (praticamente sempre aperto), Bar-Ristorantino Tapa Tapa, aperto nel pomeriggio per gli aperitivi, Negozio di Souvenir, Lavanderia Self Service, due piscine di cui una con giochi per ragazzini, scale di collegamento che portano alla spiaggia sottostante. C’e’ persino un bar con Fast Food e gelati, che per il nostro trattamento all inclusive erano compresi. Personale competente e tutto sommato educato e gentile. Abbiamo anche avuto modo/fortuna di fare il ceck-in con una ragazza italiana che ci ha dato un paio di dritte interessanti su cosa vedere nei paraggi. La struttura e’ immersa nel verde, in una zona tranquilla ma comunque ben collegata e lontano dalla folla e dal clamore delle zone piu’ frequentate dai ragazzi. Giudizio molto positivo!

De prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is erg goed. Het is niet super de luxe maar dat kun je ook niet verwachten voor dat geld. Mooi zwembad, lekker strand en prachtig uitzicht. Heerlijk het eiland verkennen met een huurauto en op zijn tijd ook buiten de deur eten. Als je je stoort aan jengelende kinderen dan moet je hier niet boeken. Groot compliment voor het personeel dat keihard werkt en zorgt dat het buffet steeds tijdig aangevuld wordt.

Séjours en all inclusive, la nourriture est très mauvaise et pas de choix. Hôtel bien situé dans une très jolie crique mais les installations sont anciennes et pas en état. Chambres propres mais anciennes.

Me gustó: la atención y la cantidad de servicios, sobretodo el tener más lugares donde servían comida, por si algún dia no podíamos llegar al comedor.

Mejorable: las piscinas y las zonas de ocio, así como la animación.

No me gustó: ascensores, vasos de plástico en los servicios alternativos, poca atención de los socorristas, poca variedad en la comida.

Hotel correct mais à eviter en vacances scolaires

Hotel bon rapport qualité prix pour un séjour hors vacances scolaires. En période de pointe, l'hotel est sous proportionné : parking de 20 places pour plus de 120 chambres, seulement 2 ascenseurs alors qu'il faut toujours aller du 0 au 8è pour aller de la plage au restaurant. Les chambres sont basiques, l'hotel a besoin de renovation. Le restaurant est correct mais sans plus.
Accès direct à la plage, très belle. 2 piscines. Hotel en tout inclus.

Tolle Bucht, Hotel renovierungsbedürftig

Die Lage des Hotels und die Aussicht auf die Bucht sind einfach traumhaft! In der Bucht kann man auch prima schwimmen. Insgesamt sind die Zimmer, insbesondere die Badezimmer, jedoch stark modernisierungsbedürftig. Das Essen ist leider geschmacklich nicht gut und es gab nur wenig Abwechslung. Kostenpflichtiges WLAN ist ein No-Go.
