We arrived for check in after 4pm. Staff were very friendly and offered us a welcome drink, so we followed the lovely gentleman to the outside bar where we were offered a glass of champagne or orange juice which was nice. However, we were then sorted of abandoned. We finished our drinks and just sat for a while before heading back to the reception area to continue checking in - a bit odd! The room was basic but pleasant. There was only one sachet of coffee and no milk or sugar for hot drinks so we bought these ourselves. Our remote control for the TV didn't work but there wasn't much worth watching anyway so it wasn't a problem. We used the pool and had a cocktail each there. Didn't use the restaurant so can't comment on that. The hotel is well located and reasonably priced.

The staff are so lovely and happy, they make the hotel a pleasure to visit. Excellent food choices and quality is superb. We love that it is small enough to feel friendly and intimate, but large enough to feel lively and has access to a brilliant beach for safe swimming and small bars along the boardwalk. Truly comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our 2nd visit and definitely not our last, I’m sure.

The staff were unhelpful and slow | there was an earwig in our “clean” towels, wood lice all over the room and a centipede on the sofa | there is no double glazing or sound proofing so you are woken up at 7am every morning with the cleaners shouting at each other | staff playing blearing music from their phones | there is not enough parking so you have to park elsewhere | there are no ashtrays on balcony’s or anywhere | the only good thing about this hotel is the location by the beach and restaurants

The hotel and the surrounding areas are gorgeous. The staff are friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a lovely suite overlooking the beach. One thing to keep in mind is, while the hotel is adults only, the beach is not.

First Time in Ibiza

This was my first visit to Ibiza, and while I wasn’t seeking a party scene, it was reassuring to know the lively areas weren’t far. I appreciated the adults-only resort atmosphere, though the nearby public beach does mean lots of families and children are around.

My room was basic, and I was surprised to be placed on the same floor as staff. While they were friendly, it did lead to occasional service lapses like housekeeping delays. At times, I felt neglected, particularly with things like overflowing garbage cans and towel piles being left unattended for too long. All staff should remain vigilant in these areas to ensure every guest feels seen and cared for. Thankfully, these issues were resolved after raising them, but ideally, they shouldn’t arise during a stay.

Service was a standout across the resort. At the front desk, Laura and Jessica were warm and professional, and Musa was incredibly helpful during my late check-in. The pool bar team—Sarita, Carolina, Elena, Fabio, Sarah, Eduardo, Martin, and Daniella—was always attentive and upbeat, making my stay feel special.

Onsite entertainment was a fun bonus, with energetic performances from singers and a memorable saxophone/singer duo that really set the mood. It would be great if the pool could remain open during these shows for guests who prefer a more relaxed, non-traditional way of enjoying the entertainment.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent and definitely worth adding to your package, even if just for breakfast.

This is a great hotel option if you're looking for great value in a beautiful spot. The hotel itself offered all the basic amenities (pool, sundeck, gym, etc..) plus towels for the beach/pool a couple bars/restaurants and a lawn area for lounging. The staff were excellent; caring and efficient. Rooms/property was clean and well organized. in-room amenities were limited (no conditioner, lotion, etc... you had to call the front desk and ask for them) but everything was comfortable and clean. Our patio overlooked the pool/beach which was a nice bonus for evening nightcaps. Access the the public beach was easy and the surrounding restaurants were delicious and affordable. Would recommend for anyone looking for a good value stay.

Nice hotel but not for mobility impaired

So we arrived Saturday early and they had our room available early but we were on 2nd floor and the lift wasn’t working, we told them my husband had a bad leg and back problems and they said the lift would be fixed that day…the lift wasn’t fixed until Tuesday…now if you have mobility problems this hotel is definitely not for you as the pictures show that they have been superimposed as you can’t get out of the hotel to beach or surrounding area unless you tackle quite a few flights of stairs but breakfast is lovely, we paid for dinner 1 night out of a seven night stay and dinner was nice too, pool areas are nice, you have to pay for water, tea and coffee.

Not a 4-star hotel

We were underwhelmed with our stay. The hotel is very dated and in need of some TLC. The staff were very friendly and the location is incredible - beautiful beaches on the doorstep.

However, lots of things not up to scratch. We got to our room and it must have 100 degrees in there. Air con had clearly been off a long time to save money.

We had it on full blast but it just blew out warm air. This was fixed the next day by maintenance, but it was then incredibly loud when turned on.

There was no hand soap, shampoo or shower gel in the rooms which is crazy for a four star hotel. There was a refillable shower gel dispenser which was empty.

To close the doors, you have to slam them shut which means at all hours of the day and night you just hear doors slamming, so bring ear plugs.

To borrow a towel to use on the beach you have to pay 10 euros. Likewise to use the safe in your room you have to pay 1.50 euros per day - I have never known a hotel to charge you to use the safe in your room.

Finally the breakfast is incredibly poor. Very limited range to choose from. All the food is left uncovered and doors open, which means flies are all over the food which is frankly disgusting. Basic hygiene would be to keep it covered.

Like I said, the hotel was probably four star once, but definitely needs updating and lots of little things could be done to massively improve service and quality.

Great location, attentive and warm staff, great facilities and the best breakfast selection I’ve ever seen.
One gripe however; I asked for feminine hygiene products from reception, being caught off-guard at 3am, and they had nothing available. Combs, shoeshines, toiletries, shower caps, but not one tampon in the entire establishment.
With such a large complex and it being adults only; you really need to cater for your female customers. Period products aren’t a luxury they’re a necessity and it would be nice to have the peace of mind, especially given how many other ‘things’ are held for customer’s convenience, on-site.

All in all a wonderful stay and perfect for a solo traveller. The masseuse was an utterly wonderful human and i highly recommend booking a massage and facial.

My wife and I had a really nice stay at Grupotel. The staff were really friendly and attentive. The hotel itself is lovely and clean. The breakfast was lovely with a wide selection of food. The location of the hotel is amaaing in a gorgeous cove of the bay, just seconds from the beach below. The hotel also laid on free activities and we did yoga and breath work classes and went on a guided hike too. I'd definitely recommend staying at this hotel and area of Ibiza.

The property overall was less than okay and I wouldn’t stay here again. The food at the bar area is absolutely HORRIBLE! I ordered some chicken nugget fingers and they were the worst that I’ve ever tasted in my life. I then ordered a hamburger, thinking it was a safe choice, and it was barely cooked! I asked them to remake it and cook it more throughly however they just warmed it in the microwave! DISGUSTING! I ended up mainly eating at nearby area restaurants, which was very many options.

The area itself was nice located in a small town called Portinatx, however, it is far away from the airport and main Ibiza attractions. The taxi from the airport is around 45 euros and a taxi to the main attractions was over 50 euros (one way)!

So, you are looking for horrible food only intending to stay at the resort without having to pay handsomely for taxis and being surrounding by mainly older individuals then this is a perfect stay because it’s far away from everything!

Also, we were two African american males that traveled to the resort and the way that people were staring at us the entire time was absolutely uncomfortable. There were very dirty looks and it seems like the majority of the people there never seen any people of color!

In summary, this resort may be nice for some but I’ll never stay at this resort ever again and I know that I would’ve had a much better time in a different more progressive area of Ibiza. I was very disappointed in my stay here.

The rooms are lovely. The breakfast is lovely and the pool is gorgeous. But the staff are underskilled and don't always know how to do their job. Taxis don't arrive when they say they've booked them (crucial on Ibiza), details don't get stored etc. Train your staff and this place will be perfect.

The hotel is in a great location right on the beachfront, separated into 3 main builsings. We weren't shown around or given details of where any of the facilities were upon arrival so had to find our own way round, and there was very little local area information around the hotel unless you asked specifically.
Overall the facilities were good but little things let the property down such as having a kettle and cups in the room but no tea/coffee, and having to pay for use of the safe in the room..

Modern hotel, brilliant beach side location.

Large modern hotel, big double room with balcony. Comfortable bed.
Hotel is in 3 blocks surrounding immaculately kepts gardens, two swimming pools and a spa centre. Evening entertainment provided in the bar along with other spa and health activities in the day. Non smokingin hotel, balconies, hardens or terraces. Adults only stay at the hotel so no kids running around.
Breakfast buffet was one of the best I have had with a huge selection for meat eaters, vegetarians or vegans. Dinner to was very good with a buffet and some cook to order offerings.

Only downside was checkin. It was overly officious, administrative, intrusive and bureaucratic. After the usual handing of passports we needed to complete a registration form name address dob, email, contact, passport details etc. We then had to complete a covid declaration form and sign.Agin, name, address, passport, contact details etc. We wer then taken through the pages of covid rules as well as given information on hotel.
We were then asked to leave a large credit card pre authorisation to cover any incidentals that we might have e.g. drinks, snack from bar as the bar did not take cash or cards. We were then told if we needed use in room safe it would be 1.5 per day but we had to leave a 10 euro deposit CASH which we would get back when we returned the safe key. We were told that beach towels were available free charge but we would need give 10 euros CASH deposit for each towel that we would get back when towels returned.

Great location and hotel... the hotel is in an excellent location on the petit beach in Portinaxt. The staff are very professional... polite and caring. Rooms are on 3 floors... no issues with noise during our stay! Food... choices are excellent well prepared... the restaurant...waiters/ waitresses are excellent. Pool areas are immaculate... and bar prices are really good ( we had half board / charged to th room throughoutthexweek ... no surprises on checkout). Great stay ... The hotel is in a beautiful location with some really great restaurants nearby, which was a bonus for us as we were only b&b.
The breakfast buffet was a really nice selection although one of the days I was unwell after eating something!

The only thing I would mark down this hotel for is the beds.
For a 4 star hotel the two single beds pushed together really were not good enough. In fact I think one was a fold out bed.
My husband struggled to sleep most nights. Which is a shame as the rest of the hotel has been designed beautifully. They really have thought of everything and made it convenient and comfortable!

Everything was overall very fine, the hotel was clean, nice staff and had a really great breakfast and view from the pool and our balcony :)
Portinaxt is a small fairly cute city, but not with that many good restaurants, but in Ibiza you either way often drive out to eat other places. There was maybe a little too few sun beds and people placed their towels on them in the morning before going to breakfast even though it was not allowed.

Great hotel, quite location, restaurants are not high standard in PORTINATX. Rooms are very small. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My review would have scored full marks had my experienced not been mixed. Most of the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way without being asked. On my arrival I was upgraded as the hotel was full so I had my own sundeck and jacuzzi which was a lovely surprise. However, there was an overpowering smell coming from the shower drain one got on entering the room. The night staff at reception and the workman who came to look at the on the second were unhelpful. The former told me there is nothing that could be done as the hotel was full and the latter told me that it was not too bed. It smelt like a rat had died in the drain which meant I hardly slept on the first night as it was so overpowering. The cleaner the following day did his best to cover up the smell and covered the drain with a wet towel, which helped a lot. I only stayed for two days so I chose to spend my last couple of days in Ibiza in the sun and outside rather than complaining with Expedia or the hotel staff.

The hotel is fabulous which is largely due to the staff, being adult only & the recent renovation. My only gripe were the cleaning staff who were not consistent. Bins not emptied, fridges needing replenishing and no evidence of a good mop of the floor!

What would have added to the experience is waiter service, poolside but their staff in the main, are faultless.

Food was amazing for breakfast and dinner. Lunchtime serving at pool bar needs work as sometimes it felt they were using leftovers from the night before i.e. brown, wilting salad leaves. These are minor gripes as wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Nice surroundings staff really nice breakfast gòod ,club sandwich lovely. Sauna not hot indoor pool not warm enough for a spa pool out door pool freezing cold got to waist height back out again usually dive straight in not this time.overall really lovley place to stay.

Séjour exceptionnel à Ibiza – une expérience inoubliable

J’ai eu la chance de séjourner dans cet hôtel à Ibiza et je tiens à partager mon immense satisfaction. Dès mon arrivée, j’ai été accueilli avec un professionnalisme et une gentillesse remarquables. Le personnel est tout simplement irréprochable : toujours souriant, disponible et attentif au moindre détail pour rendre le séjour parfait.

Les chambres sont magnifiques, très propres, modernes et parfaitement équipées. La literie est d’un confort exceptionnel, garantissant des nuits reposantes après de belles journées sur l’île. La vue est à couper le souffle et ajoute une touche magique à l’expérience.

Les installations de l’hôtel sont de très grande qualité : piscine superbe, espaces communs élégants, ambiance relaxante et luxueuse à la fois. Le restaurant mérite également une mention spéciale pour la qualité de ses plats, variés et délicieux.

L’emplacement est idéal, permettant de profiter pleinement d’Ibiza tout en restant dans un cadre calme et reposant.

Je recommande cet hôtel les yeux fermés à toute personne souhaitant vivre une expérience haut de gamme et mémorable. C’est sans aucun doute l’un des meilleurs séjours que j’ai pu faire.

Un grand merci à toute l’équipe pour ce moment exceptionnel. Je reviendrai avec grand plaisir !

Es war unser zweiter Besuch in dem Hotel. Das Zimmer ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen war aber schon ruhig gelegen. Das Essen ist fantastisch und die Kellner sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Hingegen sind die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption eher unhöflich, nicht und wenig hilfsbereit. Wir würden das Hotel aufgrund der schönen ruhigen Lage und des guten Essens aber weiter empfehlen.

Das Hotel besteht aus mehreren Teilen, wir waren in dem Trakt mit Blick auf den Strand und auf das Meer. Als wir im Zimmer ankamen waren im Bad auf dem Klo und auf dem Boden noch haare von den Bewohnern davor was nicht sehr appetitlich war. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und für jeden was vorhanden. Wenn man aber irgendwelche Unverträglichkeiten oder man aucj noch vegan ist dann wird es schwierig. Die Hafermilch war nach der Hälfte unseres Aufenthaltes aus und bis zum Ende gab es auch keine mehr. Meiner Freundin wurde gesagt sie soll sich ihr Zeug selbst kaufen und sie bekommt dann das Geld wieder außerdem wurde gesagt sie besorgen die nächsten Tage was, es wurde aber nie was besorgt. ( ich hatte im Vorhinein eine e-mail geschrieben und da wurde mir versichert es wären genug alternativen vorhanden) Eine kaputte Luftmatratze lag die ganze zeit kaputt rum und wurde bis zum Schluss nicht weggeräumt. Am Strand die Liegen kosten extra, 27€ am Tag was total überzogen ist. Alles in allem war der Preis meines Erachtens viel zu teuer. Ibiza selbst ist eine tolle Insel, wir werden wieder kommen aber dann in einem anderen Hotel.

La estancia ha sido genial. Hemos estado 5 días y 4 noches, la playa del hotel es fabulosa y las dos piscinas del hotel también. Es una zona ideal para los que buscan tranquilidad, si buscáis más “jaleo” no es vuestra zona.
La comida es de muy buena calidad, aunque algo mas de variedad por las noches se agradecería.
Destacar también la amabilidad y el trato del personal del buffet porque han sido encantadores siempre.

¡Volveremos siempre que no suban los precios descaradamente!

Très bel hôtel. Chambre confortable et bien équipée. Petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet très correct. Le personnel est très serviable et agréable. Emplacement idéal qui permet de tout faire à pied sur Portinatx, plage et restaurants au pied de l'hôtel.

Cet Hôtel est excellent , bel accueil et notamment Ana qui nous a servi de tour opérator depuis son accueil et aussi un grand merci à Maria la coach de yoga, pilates et Aqua yoga etc …. Une excellente professionnelle . Une équipe de serveurs exceptionnelle . Bref que du positif ! Allez y les yeux fermés .

In der Hotelbeschreibung steht, dass man für 11 Euro frühstücken kann, das stimmt leider nicht, es sind 23 Euro, das ist für das Angebot viel zu teuer.
Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, man hört wann die Zimmernachbarn heimkommen, Gespräche vom Gang und selbst vom Zimmer eine Etage drüber.
Die Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt. Die Zimmer könnten besser gereinigt werden. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer zum Pool hin.
Da man weit weg ist und keine großen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten hat, ist ein Mietwagen empfehlenswert. Die Parkplatzsituation ist sehr schwierig, aber machbar, man muss halt einige Meter laufen.
Am 2. Pool mit Meerblick kann man nicht liegen, die Liegen stehen auf der Terasse oberhalb, hier passt das Bild aus der Beschreibung nicht.
Zum sehr schönen Srand muss man nur eine Treppe runter, perfekt.

Gros complexe. Si vous chercher un hôtel à taille plus humaine je ne recommande pas.
Chambre vue mer très jolie et très propre malgré une insonorisation pas top où on entends les voisins parlés... L'hôtel est a côté de la plage de portinatx qui est très jolie.
Je suis déçue par contre sur le petit dejeuner... peu de choix, pas assez varié, une seule machine à cafe avec la queue pour se servir... je m'attendais à mieux.
Séjour de 3 nuits suffisant pour visiter le nord de l'île
