The hotel is ideally situated in a prime city location, offering a private beach and excellent views of the Condado beach area. It provides a tranquil and secure environment. Regarding reservations, please be advised to confirm any additional charges, such as city taxes, property fees, and parking. Depending on your booking method, breakfast may not be included and can be quite costly. Old San Juan is conveniently accessible, with Uber being the recommended transportation option for exploring various restaurants and amenities. Overall, the experience was positive.

Could use some updating but overall, we had a great time. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Be prepared to spend some money if eating at the resort. It’s a little expensive but nice size portions. The bodega and restaurant right outside the resort were lifesavers. It was not overly crowded which was nice and the weather was great. We were able to find secluded chairs along the ocean at night which was really nice. All in all we came back refreshed which is exactly what we needed. Shout out to Walter at the pool bar! He was so nice! We loved interacting with him and it really added to the enjoyment of our trip. Thank you! Parking is expensive and there is an additional daily resort fee, so keep these in mind when planning your trip.

My parents chose the Caribe Hilton to celebrate my father's 65th birthday, and unfortunately their experience was very disappointing.
The room they received did not match the photos shown during booking and had a noticeable odor upon arrival. They were also surprised by additional amenity charges that were not clearly expected beforehand. For a hotel of this caliber, it was disappointing to find that even the mini fridge was empty and did not include basic complimentary items such as bottled water.
What was most upsetting was the lack of customer service. My mother contacted the front desk hoping to arrange something special for my father's milestone birthday, but she felt the staff was dismissive and unwilling to assist. A special occasion that should have felt memorable instead felt overlooked.
Additionally, one of the reasons they selected this hotel was because the booking indicated that breakfast was included. However, when they arrived, they were informed that breakfast was not part of their reservation, which added to the frustration and unexpected expenses.
The property itself has a great reputation and location, which is why they were excited to stay there. Unfortunately, the room quality, unexpected charges, and lack of helpful customer service made this birthday trip far less enjoyable than anticipated.

There was a situation with water supply in fact for the breakfast buffet we were served with paper plates and paper cups and plastic utensils as there was no water to wash dishes. The staff thought made an effort to do their best but the situation with lack of water made it difficult for them to look good. Very sad a hotel with an impressive history and great location.

Location and beach access were fantastic. The island was experiencing water issues but the staff handled it fantastically. The only issue was cleanliness. There was a pretty sizable spill outside the elevator on our floor that was not cleaned up in our entire stay. Our room was in definite need of a deep clean, and the pools consistently had debris in them.

The bed: The bed was extremely hard, they are just cheap Sealy mattresses. If you have back and neck issues, or issues such as Fibromyalgia… you will be waking up sore and bruised daily. I feel for the price point, the mattress should be better quality, for a restful sleep experience.
The pool facilities: they pool area could use better maintenance, you must be careful using the steel stairs to get in the pool because some of the steps are loose and you could easily fall and hurt yourself.
Other than that, I would highly recommend the staff and ambiance are great. The views to the sea are amazing.

My complaint overall was the rooms, I purchased a premium ocean view room, I got a view of another roof, the room was horrible, dirty old carpet, outdated and broken furniture, the smell of sewage on our floor. No ice, we saw roaches in our coffee machine and the fridge door was broken. The safe didn't work, the iron was old and dirty.

I recently stayed at the Caribe Hilton and overall had a good experience. The staff was excellent—friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which really made a positive impression throughout my stay.
The variety of restaurant options on the property was also a highlight. There were plenty of choices, and it was convenient to have several dining options available without having to leave the resort.
The main reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the room had a noticeable odor that never completely went away during my stay. While it wasn’t enough to ruin the trip, it did affect the overall comfort of the room.

I had many issues with this resort. They did attend to all my issues. With that said I will never stay here again. I still can’t believe some of the things I witnessed. But they did try and make things right. The staff at the swim up bar were great. Also most of the staff throughout the resort were nice. Every floor they put me on the ice machines were broken. I had to literally go to another floor just for ice. One time a staff seen me at the ice machine and offered to go get me some ice and bring it to my room because that one was broken like the rest. This place needs a lot of upgrading and to be exterminated!!!!!!!! I won’t even post the pictures I took because I don’t want to freak anyone out. Just be mindful of this place. You have been warned!!!!

Be prepared to spend. Nothing is included here and you'll get minimal response from staff. Food comes extremely slow from the kitchen. Front desk phone remains unanswered when you call. Room service requires you to download a 3rd party app and create an account. Maintenance is desperately needed on much of this property. When you're spending $375+ a night and have stayed at many Hilton properties and enjoyed them, there are some expectations. Those expectations were not met. Room advertised on Expedia didn't match. View from the room was a rusted and charred vent with bird scat all over it. The concrete of the extremely small balcony was separating and the caulk work they did to mask it must have been 10 years ago. Breakfast is $34 a person, only to have liquids drip on you and your plate from the ceiling above the omelet station. The chef actually burned my omelet because he was so distracted by everything going on and he had to start over. Scrambled eggs were like rubber and bacon basically turned to dust when you touch it. We travel a lot, and this is the first time ever that I have notified a resort of a special occasion and nothing was done in the room. I contacted the resort in advance to let them know we were coming in for our anniversary and they said they had it down in the system. Apparently that means nothing here. When we stay at the Riu, or Hilton Whitehall, or in Vegas, that means something. Not worth the scratch. Won't be back.

In all honesty, the hotel was great. The staff was a little slow when an altercation happened at the hotel, but other than that, everything was perfect. The beds were made and cleaned every day after we left the room. The service was quick when we requested a crib. The bar service was a little slow, but the expectations were met. The beach views were beautiful, and having the beach located directly at the resort with swimming options for kids was a huge plus. Parking was not the best because it was sometimes full, and we had to find other parking options. Overall, the hotel was clean, relaxing, and enjoyable.

I liked the availability of different restaurants that are at the property. The spa was good. It was also nice that the property is on a beach with really nice views. However, the property doesn’t appear to be well maintained. There was gunk floating in the pool. We were given a room upgrade to a room that was subpar for an upgrade. Balcony door did not open, so we could not access the balcony. Floor tiles were broken, and the ceiling had cracks with what appears to be paint peeling from it. Not what I expected.

The hotel location is top-tier. It is about 20 minutes from the airport. It was easy access to the T-Mobile center and the old San Juan. The beach is beautiful. The pool was beautiful as well. The lobby is more updated than the rooms. They are nice just a little old-fashioned. You’ll have to bring charger plugs because there are no USB outlets or anything. There are a series of restaurants on the property. The Mexican restaurant was really good. Morton’s steak house was also good. The hotel is just beautiful. It was kid friendly. We took our teenager daughters with us. It was three pools. The iguanas were roaming the beach area. It was nice.
