I booked this for the spa, soaking tub in room. However, both were dirty and the overall impression was this hotel is not well maintained and I did not feel ok using either. The staff was helpful and friendly and the only upside. This hotel is overpriced, food is bad and not clean. I want a refund.

The hotel had just reopened after its winter closure—something we weren’t aware is common for many hotels in Ibiza—and unfortunately, it showed. Upon arrival, the property felt uncomfortably cold, with a broken door in the lobby and no functioning air conditioning in our room.

The spa facilities were particularly disappointing. Cleanliness was below expectations, the hammam was not sufficiently heated, and the sauna only reached 70°C. I also booked a massage, but the treatment room was cold and the overall experience was average at best.

On a more positive note, the food was a standout. Breakfast, the lobby restaurant, and the rooftop Peruvian restaurant were all excellent, offering high-quality dishes and a very enjoyable dining experience.

Overall, while I believe the experience would likely be much better during the summer season, the hotel—especially the spa and common areas—requires significant improvements in maintenance, comfort, and service readiness.

We really loved this hotel and had a wonderful stay. As is standard, none of the outdoor pools are heated. A guest mentioned that they had been told the oval outdoor pool was heated, but during our stay (late March/early April) it definitely wasn’t — the pool area was empty, and it simply wasn’t warm enough outside for the sun to heat it naturally.
Another guest let us know that children are allowed to use the indoor spa pools between 10am and 11am each day. We weren’t told this at check‑in, which was a shame as we missed a day of being able to enjoy this perk. The spa pools themselves are gorgeous though.
Breakfast was lovely with a great mix of options for everyone. The location is beautiful — just a short stroll to the beach, with a play park on the way that our 4‑ and 5‑year‑olds absolutely loved. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
The kids’ club was quite minimal when we arrived, with no schedule and just free play, but it was the very start of the season. On the day we left, we noticed they had put up a timetable, so it looks like it was just getting going.
Overall, we had a very lovely stay and would happily return if we visit the area again.

We chose this hotel as we wanted to treat ourselves to a five star hotel for our wedding anniversary.

Unfortunately our room was in very poor condition and overlooked a noisy construction site. The shower screen didn't meet the floor so flooded the bathroom when used, the shower seat (accessible room) was mouldy, the WiFi was poor and two of the fancy light/curtain switches were broken.

We couldn't use our balcony due to the noise and the only seat in the room was a stool so we had to sit on the bed all the time when we were in there.

The staff were kind and sympathetic. Although our request to move rooms was not met, they did go out of their way to offer extra cleaning of the bathroom, complimentary drinks and a refund for one night of our six night stay.

The public areas of the hotel are very lovely - both pools were nice to sit by. However, we won't be returning as it is not good value for money or a five star experience.

Sadly, my room had a funny, damp/musty smell. I couldn't get rid of it , and it meant that staying in the room was unpleasant.

My bedding was dirty. It had lots of hairs and random things in it. Bits of dust, fluff, hairs and I saw two bugs which might very well explain why I have been bitten so much.

Superb Stay and lovely staff

Just got back from a lovely stay at Aguas de Ibiza very relaxing, we stayed in a deluxe room pool view I asked for a room on the 3rd floor as you get better views of the marina. There are two pools one at ground level which is well maintained with service staff always on hand. Also the rooftop pools which along with the bar and restaurant area is stunning again staff serve drinks to you.
Only bad comment would be that the bathroom in the room could do with a revamp, we stayed here 9 years ago and the bathrooms are getting a little tired now.
The spa area is superb with gym, and plenty of treatments available. All in all a fantastic hotel.

Our room No 233 had faulty air conditioning control unit during our 7 night stay. Couldn’t set the temperature it was either on or off meaning very cold or very hot.Hotel engineers couldn’t fix it needed a part hotel was full no other rooms available. Hotel agreed via Expedia to refund one days stay compensation 423 euros. Hotel produce paperwork they signed I signed payment via credit card. Expedia contacted me this morning the hotel had reversed their decision and there would be no compensation. This after I had checked out and on way home. Not what you would expect 5 star hotel. Emails to prove this

The hotel is convenient located near bars and restaurants, an outstanding spa, with friendly staff and service throughout. The breakfast is amazing- lots of options both buffet and options from the chef.
The rooftop is wonderful, shame it is adult only. The room was shared with 2 adults and 2 children. The bathroom area could have been more discreet.
Though robes and slippers were provided which helped.
Would stay here again.

I was initially a bit concerned by other recent negative reviews however I couldn’t fault our stay.
On check in we were greeted with a glass of cava and bags taken to our room.
Room was lovely and had a great view of the pool. The room was cleaned every day with fresh towels and bottled water provided.
The rooftop pool was lovely and peaceful which we used for the duration of our stay.
Breakfast was great with lots of choice and we appreciated there were a la carte options included.
The staff on the front desk were pleasant and helpful. They provided recommendations and would order you a taxi as required.

Overall we had a great stay and would return.

Bait and switch

I reserved and paid for a room with a bathtub. They gave me a different room than want I paid for. The room is not alike the picture of Hotels.com. I complained to the front desk explaining that my fiancé had a surgery, she cannot take showers , that was why I paid and reserved for that room. They sais its the same room but without a bath, they refused to change us saying the other room is not available at the moment. So
Basically its a bait and switch. I complained to hotels.com, they tried calling but could not discussed with the hotel
Because of the language barrier; they hotel employees speak only Spanish. We end up with a lower quality room, no-one care and we received no compensation. It is not acceptable and not a way to treat guests.

The positives are that the property is in a good location, with plenty of free on street parking, and the breakfast is of decent quality. However, the overall experience is definitely below the 5 star standard.

The air con in the room is poor. The lighting controls in the room are extremely confusing to operate. The air con in the fitness suite is so bad that working out is very uncomfortable. Service at breakfast is slow, taking nearly 30 minutes before our order was taken one morning. The condition of the public areas, including the pool area is poor - tiles and decking boards lifted, beds dirty and green froth floating in one of the pools. In our 5 days at the property, we didn’t see any aspect of the public spaces being cleaned.

Overall, I would give the hotel 4 stars at best. A lot more attention to detail is required before it lives up to it’s 5 star rating.

The only positive thing about this hotel was the staff that seemed to be considerate. Had a room that smelled like there’s mould in the A/C units, and as I am allergic to it, I had to sleep with an open window to minimise the bad air quality.

The appliances beg for refurbishments, as the quality of my room was extremely poor (lots of appliances are in bad shape, broken or is borderline broken). This hotel is far away from a 5 star standard - it definitely was 10-15 years ago (or whenever it was opened).

It’s not our first time staying at Aguas, it’s been quite a few times that we stayed there with family and friends. This time we were 2 families with 4 children from 6 to 14 y/o. It was our first disappointing stay in this 5 star hotel. Housekeeping was pushy, we had to ask several times just to get more than 2 towels, the rooms weren’t ready for the kids upon arrival, and we had to make the children beds ourselves. There was no drinkable water in the room. Room service was terrible, between the non delivery to the wrong door delivery waking us up at 7AM, it was just annoying.
The hotel was fully booked and the staff was clearly overwhelmed.

Really nice hotel, however it had only recently opened for the season so felt there was some teething problems, a few examples included, not being left any tea and coffee in our room, one day we were left no towels, we only had water in our room on one day (we stayed for 4). At check in all staff were lovely, but more information about the hotel would have been useful, we wasn’t aware of the hour that the children could use the spa until another guest told us. We did use the kids club, which the children loved (however the advertised themed activities weren’t taking place) we then made use of the adult only area on the roof, which was absolutely beautiful. We took this kids up here one night for a meal, again this was beautiful, the food was amazing and the kids ate every last bit. Pool area was nice, a bit more attention to detail could have just made it that bit better.
Having said all this I would go back again 😊

Really beautiful hotel with great amenities. Only one downside was I was waiting for my room to check in - about half an hour late. The room housekeeping / cleaning was good but could have been a bit better - forgetting to stock water and few other small items we had to chase. However, overall an amazing hotel which I would definitely recommend and come back!

Lovely hotel although wifi didn’t work at all from Wednesday to Saturday and connection to TV apps never worked - reported many times. Not something you’d really expect at this price - five star hotel with 1 star wifi. Also had an issue with the room - on check in room had one bed and a small sofa so had to pay more to get double and a single which was exactly what our booking said?! With the upsell charge it’s really not worth it. May have been bad luck - hotel nice - excellent breakfast.

This is the first time in many years of staying in 100s of hotel that I leave a negative review. The reason is hotel had no water occasionally for 3-4 days at the time of our stay. I have pictures of dark water, unclean rooms but if that was an accident or incidental situation the manager and staff were doing nothing to help as we were a group of five couples staying there. They never offered anything positive. Any other hotel would have at least try to do something.
How somebody stays in a hotel with no water to shower and bath. We tried to stay out of the hotel most of the times to Clean ourselves.
Also I don’t know how they were able to sanitize towels and dishes and etc. We were so afraid to get some sort of diseases.
Don’t stay there as not only it was an unclean and unsanitary place but the management of hotel had zero of any compassion for any kind of accommodation.
As a doctor I was horrified until getting out of this dirty place.

The hotel was ok. It looked nice and from an Instagram perspective it looks great. Unfortunately little things were off that made what we thought was going to be an amazing stay, just an ok stay.

For example, there were water leaks in the bathroom. Elevators closed or only taking you to certain floors. Inattentive (and lack of) staff at the signature roof pool/bar area.

All small things in themselves, but they add up unfortunately.

It's a good hotel, but not the great one it projects on social media.

This is a lovely hotel. It looks wonderful and has great outdoor space. The beds are numerous and the pools well maintained.

First the hotel was great . The staff were friendly and their spa facility was what made the hotel special
The rooms were clean and great. The corner suite was full of light but there isn’t a direct view of the sea if that concerns you. Also note that the hotel does not have a beach but has a pool on the ground floor and an adult pool on the rooftop with inasane views
We found the area very cute to stay in . It’s calm and elegant. It has many restaurants and shops within walking distance on the marina. And a cute beach lounge at the end of the marina.
It’s a bit far from the main marina but we didn’t mind the drive

Nice 4 night stay at end of the season. Staff are super helpful and can’t do enough to help. Faculties are good, deluxe room was nicely finished and spacious. My only real observation is the pool areas particularly the roof area are looking tired- the wooden planks have a lot of loose boards and quite a few are damaged and could give splinters Hopefully this is planned for their closed period as definitely needs attention. Also need new cushions on all the pool seating as looking worn out and a bit dirty.

This hotel has an amazing spa but unfortunately we were extremely disappointed with our suite- two single beds pushed together isn’t acceptable for a suite price- the beds split in night so a couples stay was made less enjoyable. The 2nd day the room wasn’t refilled of the minibar or products were not tidied up in bathroom. Not a great selection of wines. Food was nice in bar downstairs as was the breakfast but we felt let down by beds and housekeeping.

I liked the gardens around the hotel, the cleanliness and the breakfasts were excellent.

I didn’t like the location as there was loud noise from a nearby boat repair shed for most of the day except Sundays. Very slow lifts with one always out of order. Rooftop restaurant (Peruvian) was limited food wise and was the only one open in the evenings. Rooftop pool area often closed for private functions.

Absolutely amazing experience. We received the warmest welcome from the wonderful staff at reception and a glass of bubbles when we arrived. They were all so friendly and helpful when it came to asking for recommendations of where to eat and booking taxis. The breakfast buffet was out of this world and the rooftop pool with amazing views was spectacular. We could have watched the boats come and go all day long. We didn't want to leave. They even arranged for a picnic breakfast to be delivered to our room the morning we checked out as we had an early flight to catch.

Our second time visiting this hotel and we were not disappointed. The rooftop really has the wow factor, with sweeping views over Santa Eulalia marina. Well located for local restaurants. Only minor comments would be service at breakfast was a bit clumsy - queues to be seated, dirty tables, juice and coffee orders taking more than 20 minutes to arrive. Also the pools are absolutely freezing, the rooftop one in particular no-one went deeper than their waist for the whole week we were there.

Paid a lot of money to stay here and have left feeling rather disappointed. The service is terrible at this hotel, ordered several drinks whilst by the pool which never arrived. Waited 45 mins to take a food order in their premium restaurant on the rooftop one of the evenings, I complained and wasn’t even offered an apology other than there is a large group in the bar and we haven’t got round to your drinks! Really!! Not good enough.
Lunch was no different, on the two days we ate there it took forever to take order, get drinks, get the bill. Really disappointed and won’t be staying again.

We were provided with compensation which was gratefully received. I guess all teething problems post COVID and I have no doubt the hotel will be back on form soon!

Very disappointed as my main holiday only to find that out of the 10 days two Saturdays wedding took place meaning that the infinity pool and bar had to close earlier. This Saturday was by far the worst as we received a letter in the room on Friday night to say the pool would be open 11.00-16.00 instead at 1.30! A member of staff cane to say it was closing at 2.00 so they could set up.
Why should I be penalised having paid for my holiday and this was part and parcel of the package.
If I had know that weddings took place I would never have booked the hotel.
It appears that once you have your guests money you do not care.
Also the party went on till 1.45 with music blasting out and I was the other side oh the venue. I rang yo complain at 12.30 and was told by reception that it would be finished at 1.00 this was clearly not the case ... also workmen working in the garden outside room at12.30am on Sunday morning....
It’s an absolute shambles and will be emailing the group MD

This is an excellent hotel, it was the perfect choice for our 5 day trip to Ibiza. Staff were so good, always happy to help and great service from start to finish with the entire team. Our room was nice with a good size private balcony, really comfortable bed and a huge mirror for getting ready. Lots of wardrobe space, fridge, seating area etc. We booked the Premier room. Molten Brown toiletries which we liked. Water at turn down service.
The hotel gym was perfect for us, with an outdoor decking area and everything you need for a decent holiday workout - we didn’t get time to visit the spa unfortunately but it looked really good too.

The food was one of the best parts - breakfast was so good, such great choice and again staff and service were excellent. The food is light and healthy and modern. Great coffee. I would go as far as to say it’s among the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. Eating outdoors was just so lovely in October!

Poolside areas - perfect. 2 pools downstairs for families/children but very relaxed atmosphere and next to the lovely shaded bar and eating area outdoors. Upstairs on the roof, the infinity pool & lounge/bar area with the rooftop bar and chilled dance music really was the icing on the cake. Adults only on the roof, huge sun beds and fluffy white towels, great drinks menu.
Then there are amazing views over sea and marina and coast, we can’t wait to go back to this hotel. We loved it!

We felt welcome upon arrival and the check in process at the desk went well only as we entered the room we were not happy with the size. It is a bit misleading at the suite we had was long but quite narrow and the measurements they provide includes the balcony too so be wary.
They were helpful in helping us move to a bigger suite but the upgrade was charged extra per night and we had to give the suite back after 3 nights as wasp rebooked. The management team could be much improved as we found everything was disorganised for example our suite was cleaned at various times in the day and a few times we found no one came until we rang and asked. soaps were not changed regularly. Room service was lengthy. Despite it claims to be child friendly the menu options were very poor and limited there is a smaller pool but it was freezing cold so our child did not even want to know. They have a nice kids club which is the only accommodating thing for children. Be wary that the spa is not permitted for any child under 12 years of age which is not mentioned anywhere.
the cleanliness of the rooms generally are average.
The breakfast is also not the best.You can tell they do not use the best ingredients. They staff are generally friendly but language was a bit of a barrier hence frustrating at times when they would completely miss-understand. Overall I would certainly not rate this hotel 5* it's more of a 4* and I'd say it is over-rated.

The property was 5 star and the service we received from all the hotel staff was amazing and they were all very attentive. The only downside for this hotel is there is no "Plan B" when the roof bar terrace is closed for health and safety reasons when too windy or weather makes it uncomfortable meaning any guests who wish to have a drink in the hotel or a night cap on returning from a night out have no option. Personally I think the downstairs bar should be accessible in the event of the roof terrace being closed.

STAY CLEAR - bad smell in rooms and unprofessional

Our Cloud 9-suite (room 412 and 407) had bad isses of humidity and mold in the AC ducts. The smell was horrible, and we woke up after the first night with bad headache.

Since the hotel was fully booked, and they could not offer us any other rooms, we had to check out after 1 night, despite having pre-paid for 10-nights.

The hotel spent 5 days before getting back to us, despite us following up every day asking for a solution.

They then invited me to a meeting with the director to discuss the issue, which turned out to be a lie. No director was there as promised. Instead they sat me down with the lawyer of the hotel, threatening to sue me due to our post in social media about the lacking standards of the hotel...

For me it is unbelievable that the hotel think they can threaten unsatisfied clients to silence, and then tell that "if you had not posted anything negative, we would probably have given you the money back"

I would strongly advise anyone looking for a 5-star experience to look elsewere. This hotel is badly managed, and not kept to the standard it should.

Lovely stay....beautiful hotel especially the roof top bar and new rooftop restaurant with amazing views.
Staff are extremely friendly and helpful.
In my opinion and I would have thought most people’s, food and drinks could be more reasonably priced.
Don’t mind paying a premium but a cheese and ham toastie is just that.

I would go back.

The room was very comfortable and had a nice balcony. The bathroom wasn't too private. Furnishing was quite modern. Service was extremely helpful and friendly. Nice food at the restaurant. Extremely good breakfast buffet (and I know what im talking about!) 5star. Amazing rooftop swimming pool with chill area with outstanding views!! We would definitely go back.

Too expensive for condition, not a 5* hotel.

Rooms were very expensive and have seen better days. Main complaint is that the air on didn’t work. If you are a supposed 5* hotel charging over £500 per night you have to have the basics done right. The only solution was a fan bought up to our room. Absolutely ridiculous, they should be ashamed.

Friendly, helpful staff in a relaxed environment. We had a slight problem the first night when we ate in the downstairs restaurant. The restaurant did not appear to be busy and it took 2 hrs to get any food. By the time the food came we’d lost our appetite.

Great as a couple and for first holiday with baby

We have stayed at this hotel twice and have enjoyed it both times. Last year we went as a couple and loved our time spent relaxing in the spa and using the gym and pools. This year we came back with our 5 month old baby and again had an amazing experience. The hotel staff were really helpful and made us feel comfortable on our first holiday as a family. Highly recommend the spa and breakfast!
