Our stay was incredible! The staff members were friendly, attentive, and professional. The breakfast was delicious. Their Rosé sangria is a must! We had an excellent time and would return for another visit. Lastly, Paula was amazing to us—she went above and beyond! Excellent customer service.

The service was very kind. The hotel was clean. No issues with the music. Its a great hotel to relax and hide away from the high energy areas. Placed in the middle of all the good area. It was a 25 mins ride to the town of Ibiza. 30 mins from the airport. I enjoyed my stay.

Chilled quirky hotel

Had a lovely stay at Hotel Mongibello. Our sea view suite was on 3rd floor with gorgeous sea views. Our balcony got the morning sun and it was really quiet! The room was spacious, very clean, comfy bed and overall funky, quirky but a relaxing space. Only negatives, not the most private of toilets.. no free water and also extra tea bags or coffee pods were chargeable (€5).

The hotel really embraces the Italian Riviera 70s theme throughout which we found quirky and liked. It has beautiful sea views, lots of sun loungers (if not a bit squashed together), chilled music playing, massages available near the pool, a bar, good but quite small gym and restaurant. It also has a fun, quirky small secret nightclub open at the weekend! Breakfast has a wide range of options, but only 1 chef at the egg station so could be queues if after 8.30.

Overall we enjoyed our stay with the hotel, and found the area peaceful with lovely views. Worth a visit if you are looking for somewhere more chilled.

Beautiful hotel and pool area, but the beach close by isn’t the best. I’d suggest staying at the hotel and driving to other beaches. Parking is free and reserved for your room which is nice. We had a terrace suite which was beautiful, the room was spacious and the view was amazing.

View and location is excellent. Gorgeous hotel. Beds are a little hard and the music round the pool wasn’t as expected. The first day it was as imagined 50’s and 60’s style, but then it went a bit off for the next couple of days. Staff very friendly.

The Mongibello is a bright and fresh new hotel, with friendly staff and a beautiful view from the sea view rooms, lobby, restaurants and pool area. It’s somewhere to go for an ultimate adults chill out holiday, while still maintaining some vibe with the flow of 1960’s music and live jazz around the pool (Thursday and Sunday sundowners).
We had a terrace suite for 5 nights and it was worth the upgrade - I would get one of those or a standard suite, if you can. It’s right infront of the pool with a superb view, plus you can hear that lovely music flowing in when you have the doors open.
The only thing I was shocked to learn is that they do not refill your coffee capsules of tea bags (there was just 4 capsules and one mint tea bag in the room - my partner and I had to share it!). If you want a refill it costs €5 a time - when paying over €400 a night for a suite, that seemed completely petty and unnecessary - especially since staying more nights is generally an economy of scale for the hotel. I have never known a hotel (luxury or budget) charge for such. Whoever made that decision needs to rethink it, as it knocks a star off!

Top class. Big thank you to Nico & Mara for going above and beyond. A great addition to the hotel staff.

Absolutely love the theme of the hotel. Just a beautiful spot.

Check-in was fast and smooth. No issues at all.

The room was nice with a partial sea view. Balcony could do with some re figuring as it was fairly crowded. But nice all the same.

The vibe around the pool is magical. The soundtrack was perfect for the theme of the hotel. And makes a change from the typical ibiza pool vibes.

Access to the beach which is nice for morning swims in the ocean.

Everything was clean and tidy.

The turn down service was quick and house keepers friendly.

Lola’s is a very cool concept so make sure to check it out.

We never waited longer than 10mins for a taxi at anytime of the day & night.

The hotel itself is only a 10min walk to Santa Eulalia marina.

Highly recommend if you want to stay away from Bossa & San An for a more relaxed atmosphere.

Will defo stay again when we visit Ibiza.

Staff were rude and overworked. The place stank of some sickly air freshener which made you gag on arrival then just give you a headache. Food was poor and waiting staff just shouted at you. Bed / bedding / room standard was poor. Building falling apart. Possibly the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Heaven! Best holiday all summer!

Finding this place last minute was the highlight of my year!! From the moment you walk in the staff make it clear they are there to make sure you have an amazing time. They are all so nice. We didn’t know it was two days until it closed for the winter so thought they’d be packing up around us but nope, they kept professional and wonderful right up until the last guest leaves. Food was brilliant, higher end and just perfect. We liked going in the sea and swimming with the hundreds of tiny sardines! Room lovely, just loved it all. Will try to come back next year if a good price. Only downer was if you wanted to go out partying this is not the place, there’s not much in the area but that’s what I liked.

Beachfront location great, proximity and ease of access to locality excellent. Wonderful staff in every dept. Some areas of the property a bit \"tired”, eg tiling around showers and floors in rooms. That's a minor criticism but it would be in keeping with the excellence of service of the hotel.

Setting was great. We had a suite and this was really nice with a fantastic sea view, worth paying extra.
Food was as expected. Stayed away from pre cooked food as this was often not warm enough. There was plenty of food cooked to order so no complaints.
The big negative was the pool area. It is in a fantastic setting but by 8.00am most of the sunbeds had towels on them. You can go away from the pool and find somewhere to sit.
There were no towels available when we arrived and had to wait until the following lunchtime. We kept the same towels all week.
The first part of the week there were a few big groups staying so it was very noisy. It did go quite during the second half of the week.

Great all inclusive food offering. Cocktails on the all inclusive could have been better. Fantastic pool and poolside facilities. The room was quite dusty but the regularity in change of towels and bedding was great. Overall the best all inclusive I have stayed at, I would highly recommend and I am looking forward to returning.

We returned to The Don Carlos to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The food was plentiful and was our first experience of all inclusive. Santa Eulalia is a lovely place with a great marina plenty of places to eat and enjoy.

Nice hotel, easy to get to the town of Santa Eularia, 10 min walk.
Food is good, buffet style, lovely selection of salad items. Hot food was slightly less good in my opinion but still enjoyable and plenty of choice.
Pool is a lovely area to relax, and you can get towels in exchange for a deposit.
Rooms were lovely, especially with the sea view.
Only down side was the twin beds were pushed together to form a double bed.

We had a good stay, the staff were helpful and attentive. The food was excellent. The hotel caters for adults only which made the stay more relaxing.

On the downside...
The standard room is not spacious enough for 3 guests. The existing beds were pushed closer to the window and the additional bed was put alongside them (giving three beds in a row) by doing this the bedside lights were in the middle of the pillow and caused us to bang our heads several times if we turned over during the night.

Absolutely beautiful place in a stunning location

After reading all the positive reviews on here we was quite excited about coming to stay, and boy this place didn't disappoint! From the moment you arrive in reception all staff are exceptionally attentative ensuring you feel welcome and at ease. The pool area is perfect with some stunning views, and there are more than enough sun beds for all; no matter what time we went down to the pool we got two together in a lovely spot. Our room was spacious and cool, cleaned every day and beds made each morning. We did want to upgrade to one of the hot-tub rooms but they weren't available as they were fully booked but I'd def say the extra would've been worth it. Our view wasn't the greatest as we was at the far corner and overlooked the car park / outside Road, but we didn't spend much time in the room so it didn't matter but if a view bothers you check the room you have before you arrive to see if you can change it. The food was exceptional every single mealtime every day; you certainly won't go hungry and there is plenty of choice. The only thing I'd say is if your veggie (like me) check what your eating as they don't always list all the key ingredients on the food signs and miss off main things like meat, but a quick look at what your putting on the plate solves most of this. However choice and quality was exceptional. The entertainment was good too, I'd definitely recommend getting involved! Overall we had a fab stay and will be back.

Lovely Short Break

Although the weather wasn't on our side, this hotel was great. Food was good, alcohol was very good (considering it was part of an all inclusive package) and the atmosphere was great.

The best part for myself was the staff, they were so kind and helpful, and explained things clearly so we understood about the facilities, parking ect.

If I had to be critical, the only point I would make is if you are a vegetarian a lot of the side dishes have meat added to them e.g mash potatoes and bacon, calliflower cheese with chicken stock. Which made it difficult to find food on occasions. So my only point would have been if they could have made these vegetarian but maybe had a plate of bacon next to it so people could choose.

Otherwise a great 4 day stay, definitely would come back :).

Lovely hotel and great location

This hotel has the full package. The food selection and quality is top class. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I found the mattress a bit hard and asked for a topper which they out on immediately which solved the problem.

The entertainment team were top class Sana and Sylvia worked relentlessly to keep us all happy

The friendliest staff and a wonderful stay

I stayed at the Don Carlos between June 14th - 21st. Upon arrival the staff were incredibly welcoming, our bags were taken to the room and we were given glasses of juice. The check in process was very efficient.
Everyday there was a wide variety of food to chose from, fresh salads, fruits, and bread were delicious. The drinks included in the restaurant were fine, I didn't enjoy the wine greatly but other guests certainly did.
There was entertainment at the restaurant every night, that was enjoyed with a glass of drink from the bar which provided a lager variety selection.
The swimming pool was a nice size and the outside area very well set out.
The thing that stood out greatest for me was the welcoming and knowledgable staff that were always on hand to help us, Silvia was great, she organised our car rental, she directed us to heavenly spots in Ibiza.

Awesome welcome, greeted with hot towels and fresh fruit drink to freshen up while checking in. good selection of buffet style food for dinner, especially liked the fish (grouper) but coffee and fruit juices could be improved. Enjoyed live band in the evening and on my own but next day the local host invited me to play table tennis for an hour. A 15 to 20 minute walk to the centre / marina if you go down the little path by the hotel and across the bridge. I'm planning to go back in Maynext year.

Beach short break

The hotel was in a great position overlooking a small beach just outside the resort.

My friend and I had suites and have to say these were superb. I had a small problem with mine and the reception staff were excellent in sorting this out for me with little inconvenience to myself.

The food was plentiful but the quality was somewhat lacking for a hotel of this class. Could do with less variety and higher quality foods. This would help to have a greater turnaround of the food because if you went to the dining room later in the food service it was not very warm and sometimes looked unappealing.

Entertainment was varied and generally of a high standard, aimed at the more mature clientele that seemed to be in the majority in the hotel. The two entertainers worked hard and with enthusiasm even though it was nearly the end of the season.

I applaud the pool staff, have never been to a hotel where the pool and sunbeds have been kept so clean.

All in all this is lovely modern style hotel in a peaceful location. Perfect for the more the mature couple or singleton. Just needs the food upgraded and it would be great all round.

Really great experience overall. |If I had one small complaint it would be the food. We were all inclusive and while the food was ok, the variety available at dinner could be a bit better. Also the variety of cereals available at breakfast could also be expanded on a bit! Besides that no other complaints, room was really nice, pool area was fabulous and really relaxing and the rooms were kept immacuately clean. Would definitely recommend if you're looking to chill out & relax

Good for an older crowd

We booked this hotel because it was adults only, and it was our babymoon. Unfortunately for us (both 30 y.o), it was more like 'pensioners only' - everyone was over 60.

That said, it was comfortable, the food was good (good variety and fairly good quality for a buffet), the drinks service was great and even included Cava at breakfast time, the pool was nice and the walk down to the beach was quick and pretty.

Santa Eulalia Marina was about 15 mins walk away. It too was filled with old people (!!). For our first time in Ibiza it's not what we expected, and had a lot more fun when we travelled to the old town and playa den bossa.

If you're looking for a very very chilled out time with a mature crowd, this is the right place for you.

Excellent service from beginning to end, very sad to leave but would highly recommend this hotel, great location too, annoying not to ever be able to lie down by the pool due to people putting their towels down so early which is a little unfair but that's not the hotel's fault, Manu on Reception was a delight and all staff very helpful and friendly, we were given some excellent advice by a new young lad that has just started and the advice was spot on! Food was lovely and excellent variation of drinks!

Ok hotel but not sure about the 4stars

It did not start well as our room with balcony (requested and paid for) was above the kitchens so the smells and heat was too much for us to sit out. In fairness the hotel staff were generous and we moved to a better room. The all inclusive was ok but food very repetitive and breakfast was poor. Coffee from a vending machine is not 4 stars. Inclusive ran out at midnight, why?...
Lifts were slow and small, quicker to take the stairs.

Really nice hotel

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel. It has been refurbished in the last year or so, which has been done to a very high standard. The staff are friendly and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The hotel is very clean throughout. The breakfast & lunch on the all inclusive option is very good, there is something for everybody. The dinner isn't as good, some nights you could be stuck for something to have as there wasn't an overwhelming choice. The bar is well stocked & even if you choose an alcoholic drink that is not covered by the all inclusive option, it does not work out that expensive. Overall I was really pleased with this hotel & would recommend it to family & friends.
The only problem is that all the sunbeds around the pool are reserved with towels by other residents at the crack of dawn! Even though there is a notice in reception clearly stating that if there are any towels on sun beds before 9am they will be removed! You was also provided with beach towels to use whilst staying at the hotel but most days they had run out before 10am!!! The sun bed & beach towel situation I feel is something the hotel needs to improve on.

Ideal adult retreat

We stayed in room 444 and the view of the marina and town is breathtaking! Spotlessly clean throughout the hotel and all amenities to make our stay enjoyable.
Meals in both restaurants are varied and the choice is ample. There are pool snacks available throughout the day. Most drinks are within the all inclusive remit but those that are not are priced reasonably.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and after leaving i truly felt like i had a complete break and wonderful holiday.
Santa Eulalia town is about a 10 minute stroll away from the hotel where u can catch a bus/boat to other parts of the island for a very reasonable cost. The nightlife is varied but again, very relaxed and varied. The marina is well worth a stroll around.
There is a gorgeous small beach down some steps from the hotel which is quite private and beds are €4 per day.
My final comment is regarding the staff. They were all super friendly and helpful particularly when a mistake was made with our room, they could not have been more reassuring and apologetic. Manners are impeccable as is the efficiency the management should be very proud!
Will definately return.

Very Enjoyable,relaxing Stay.
Good entertainment and poolside activities.
Lunch was of a higher standard than the dinner buffet - overall food quality was very good. A short walk into the town which has a good variety of restaurants and bars

If you like good food, comfortable beds, and are under 55 years of age, you should try something else. In addition, please pay special attention to the terms of your board package; we thought we were getting full room and board, but only two (bad) meals a day and no alcohol. That being said, the price of the room was reasonable as were the drinks.

Not that I can hold this against the hotel, but this place seems to attract an older crowd. Not a problem, but maybe not what you're looking for when you're coming to Ibiza. The cab ride to visit clubs in Bossa is 30-40 euros. That adds up to the point where it would have made more sense to pay more per night and stay closer to Bossa.

Myself and my daughter stayed at this hotel from Sept 5. - 12
Firstly they put us in a room that had the air conditioning units which were very noisy over the balcony. Because the room is quite small the balcony is very important. The finally agreed to move us The hotel is very understaffed in the service area. We asked for someone to take down our bags when leaving. They came back a half hour later to say they had no one I would never use this hotel again. Also it was mainly older people. Little like an old folks home. We then moved onto Aguas de Ibiza which was Truly 5 star experience

Honest review.

I usually do not stay in tourist type hotels as they are sub-standard but this hotel is great. You get exactly what you pay for (and I booked and paid in August, so paid top money) It is great for a couple as it is right by small town, away from the idiots and in a low key area.Only thing is the food. I ate in the restaurant twice and it was not great. I had three meals for the price in the a la carte restaurant but did not take them as generally the food was for people who know absolutely nothing about food. It was included so I ate breakfast once. A little sub standard considering the rest of the hotel but it is easier than going out sometimes. Coffee is bad though.

Fiesta Hotel Don Carlos - Another Wonderful Stay

My wife and i decided to go to Ibiza to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. We have stayed at the Don Carlos many times before and decided another visit was in order. even though we haven't stayed at Don Carlos for a good few years, any of the staff still there recognised us and made us feel really welcome.
The staff at the Don Carlos are absolutely wonderful. even some \"challenges\" we set the reception staff were handled with a smile and dealt with efficiently. It was fairly quiet whilst we were there, (end of season), as this is normally a busy family hotel. This was welcome as we just wanted to chill out. The room was immaculate and kept that way all week by the cleaning staff. We had a fabulous Sea View and could have spent hours on the balcony taking it all in.
There are a few Bars/Resteraunts nearby, but some of them were closed so a trip into Sta Eulalia was required if we didn't want to see the, (excellent), hotel entertainment. The resident entertainment staff were absolutely hilarious and it is very difficult not to get involved with daily activities.
The only disappointing area was the food. breakfast was spot-on, but the evening food seemed very \"bland\" and pre-processed. This was a bit of a surprise as on previous visits the food has always been superb. This could be an end of season issue.
All in all another terrific stay at the Don Carlos and we will return.

Bei der Ankunft falsches Zimmer erhalten. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir wechseln. Es gibt keinen Strand. Es ist eine Steinplattform, die zudem sehr schmutzig war.
Das Hotel ist schön gemacht, wirkt aber kalt und abweisend.
Gratis Parkplätze.
