Room was huge. Bathroom not cleaned very well (mould on walls). Kitchen cupboards smelly and appliances a bit old and dirty/rusty. Was ok for preparing very simple meals.
Front desk staff and concierge very warm and friendly.
Lots of grocery stores around. Close to Insurance Market metro station.

Our stay was amazing! It was one of the best stays we have ever had in Dubai because of Rose Gardens Hotel Apartments Al Barsha. The staff were extremely friendly, very helpful and were always very nice to us. They made our stay very pleasant and we loved everything about the hotel throughout our entire stay.

One thing I don’t like extension is very behind. You can’t extend in the same hotel same price. They make big deal out of10 15 dollars daily rate.
I have to move out to another hotel for less even though I was paying more at this hotel.

This is an excellent place to stay. The only issue I had was they have a very strict policy about visitors in the room which caused some initial problems with some friends visiting from the UK but reception addressed this and managed it very effectively. I have already recommended this hotel to two other guest who both enjoyed their stays. Great work guys

Staff was very friendly and got me in before check in time. Rooms really needs to be updated. Only had 4 digital channel on tv. No wash clothes to wash your body with. But over all it was a nice quiet place. I was able to cook in my nice kitchen which was a bonus. But the stove top was was to small for the pots.

I recommend you check the room for odors and cleanliness (black dust on the chandeliers, walls, etc.) otherwise ask to change rooms. This is what I did.
I will recommend to the owner to do a good post cleaning control of the rooms.

Had a pleasant stay, we were well accommodated. Area is very nice, no complaints whatsoever. Male staff of the hotel were extremely helpful. Most were of south asian background, very well mannered and polite. There was one woman at reception, a filipino who was rude and reluctant to help when we first arrived. Had to talk to her manager instead who was extremely helpful and well mannered.

Our first apartment they gave us was not very nice as it had no views and rather dingy
We asked to be moved and despite the hotel being full they found us a lovely one bedroom apartment which was much better with more light . big rooms and nice views this made our stay much mre enjoyable
The apartment was well equpped for self catering. The cbannels on the television were mainly in arabic with only 2 english speaking news channels and one for star movies !
Overall the stay was enjoyable staff were very polite and helpful and we loved being near metro which saved a lot on taxi fares.

Great location, easy walking distance to a metro station and Mall of the Emirates, and great local restaurants. A little noisy with street traffic at night. Floors were dirty in spots and kitchen Was missing a few items. Like not enough glassware or coffee cups for three of us. Overall a good value.

Location close to \"Mall of the Emirates\"

Stayed for 3 weeks at this hotel after being very impressed by the branch in Burjuman area earlier in the year. Facilities in the apartment were not up to 4 star standard. However, the staff went out of their way to replace everything that was missing or fix the things that were not working. Facilities seems a little dilapidated and can do with a \"face-lift\". Have to mention the cleaner who was a great ambassador for the hotel and who tried his utmost. (Fatash)

A very well maintained property. The staff was very courteous. The room sizes are bigger then most of the hotel apartments I have stayed in Dubai. The kitchen is also well stocked with utensils, most of hotel apartments only have few utensils for the sake of it. This one had pretty much everything that you would need.

I was travelling alone and this Hotel was in a perfect position for me as it was only 5 minutes walk from the metro which I used a lot to travel around. I also used the Metro to get to and from the Airport. The Hotel was only 10 minutes walk from Mall of the Emirates and on the way there are a couple of restaurants. The Hotel reception is small but the staff are all friendly. I arrived early, but they made up a room for me and gave me drinks while I was waiting. The room was perfect for me it was cleaned every day and the facilities in the room were good. I cooked breakfast before going out. I did not use the café so I cannot comment on that. The pool area was clean and large perfect for relaxing or swimming.

Very comfortable place and very clean. The mattress wasn't very comfortable at first and I mentioned it to the reception. The next day they changed it to a much better one. The place is in a great location for those who know Dubai or new to Dubai. I will definitely stay there again.

Comfortable hotel near a metro station.

Quite a comfortable and clean hotel; staff at the reception are very helpful and provided us with a temporary room as we arrived early morning, before check-in time. There are no decent restaurants around the hotel, just local cuisine though cheaper than downtown.
The hotel is situated in al Barsha, close to a metro station and a shopping mall which is not easy to walk to it as they are many road works and constructions. Dubai has many ongoing constructions so it was very noisy as opposite the hotel yet more hotels/flats are being built.

We booked a studio but was upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfy and the washing machine worked well. There's a mini mart across the road and we bought laundry detergent there. It's walking distance to the train station and only one stop away from Mall of the Emirates. There's no alcohol allowed in the hotel to we headed to the nearby hotel bars for drinks.

1st of all,the rate was amazing and suited my budget at the time-I would say it was a bargain when compared with other hotels around that locality.The staff were nice and courteous, and that's it about the positives. The bedroom had smelled,the washing machine when opened was an eye sore,we actually didn't have the courage to open it the 2nd time. The bed was rather simple and a bit too hard for us,had only two unfriendly pillows on it. Promised my family to get something better the next time. Overall,I must say it's a typical 3 star without anything special to show.

We arrived at 2am, told we were upgraded. There was unlocking of different bedroom doors as I had requested twin beds. We were awoken early by the machinery of the construction site next door. Then I had a cold shower as they neglected to turn the hot water on.

The staff was great, and they tried everything the could to ensure we had a great stay. We were upgraded upon arrival. The kitchen is equipped with what you will need. My only negative feedback about the hotel is the bed mattress was a bit thin and the pillows were firm. They have free parking at the basement. The location is great, next to a Metro station, and 15 min walk from the mall of Emirates, a nice walk in the winter (no path for baby strollers though).Stayed for two nights and would stay there again.

They picked us up from the Abu Dhabi airport, and gave us a brief tour before heading to Dubai, and retuned us to the airport when we left. Cost of the transportation was very reasonable. Located close to the train station, and across the street from a grocery store which gave us the option of getting some breakfast type food and relaxing in the morning. There are restaurants next door and in the hotel itself, but we never got the opportunity to try them, smelt delicious! This is truly an apartment! Living room, dinning room, full kitchen (with laundry facilities - worked great, ran a load thru the washer and put them on the drying rack on the patio - after being gone from home for 14 day it was a great surprise!) we had two bedrooms and two full baths - VERY spacious! Our only complaint is - the 1st room they took us to was obviously a smoking room, and none of us are smokers, so the smell was over-whelming. The bellman called down and took us to new room to look at, it did not smell like smoke, but whatever cleaning agent they use does have a different smell to it - not awful - just different, got use to it before we left..... For the price this was a great option! Highly recommend!

Rose Garden Hotel is a nice hotel/apartment. The studio room had a full kitchen (including washing machine). It is not fancy, but clean and nice sized (for 2 people). Staff was very helpful and accommodating. There were a few problems with the wireless internet...but it was included in the price and worked most of the time. I would definitely stay here again.

I went to Dubai with my two daughters (15 & 9) for new year break (dec 2013).This is an ideal hotel for anyone going to Dubai on a modest budget and looking for a location that enables you to see dubai main attractions with ease. The hotel is very clean with regular house keeping and a kitchen which is especially handy for families. The hotels location is excellent with easy access to the palm, both Aqua parks, ski Dubai and the mall of the emirates and with a metro station approx 400m from the hotel it's also very convenient for traveling further to the burj kalifa and deira etc. would be happy to stay here again if visiting Dubai again

We enjoyed our 8 night stay and the staff was quite helpful. This is clearly a budget hotel. We had a \"cheap\" room booked through Expedia and I think that influenced the room selection for us. We had a window that faced inward and down into the parking garage below. Any noise from the garage echoed into our room. While the ceilings were high and the tile was pretty, it was rather cold and noise carried terribly. Our room was non-smoking but partway through our stay, we got new neighbors. They smoked and we could smell every cigarette.

Good location for short break. Has a metro stop 1 minute away so its easy to get around, and get to and from the airport. Good value for money & nice pool on the roof but no bar. Not near the beach if that's what you are looking for though. Also, don't eat at the cafe. Food is terrible.

Proberly the best 2 bed apartment in a hotel that I have ever stayed in. The place was spotless and huge, in fact I worked it out that this apartment is bigger than my 4 bedroom home back in Australia.
The staff were great, helping with directions and the best way to get to and from the attractions

Stayed at the Rose Garden Hotel for 2 nights in September 2013. The hotel is clean and check-in quite efficient. Appreciated the pool staying open until 9 pm. Well-located a short walk to mall of the Emirates. Many reasonably-priced places to eat in the surrounding streets, and short distance to Sharaf DG metro station, so you can get around the city easily with a Nol card.

A two night tourist stopover

We had a stop-over in Dubai and chose the Rose Garden based on stated facilities, price and location. While it is some distance from the old part of the city, it is located very close to one of the Metro stations giving us easy access to the various malls, the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Fountain, all at a very reasonable price. While the Mall of the Emirates is just 800 metres away, it's too far to walk in the extreme heat experienced in Dubai but that location is just 1 stop away on the Metro. The Mall is also a stopping place for the Dubai Big Bus tours.

We arrived at the hotel from Venice at about 7am. This is well short of the stated check-in time of 2pm but the staff arranged an immediate check-in and while we had to wait about 30 minutes for the room to be readied, they offered us cool drinks and immediate access to the free WiFi. We found the staff very friendly and it seemed they couldn't do enough for us.

The hotel offers both a cooked and continental breakfast and we found the latter to be very satisfactory and affordable. The hotel does not offer an evening meal service, but given that its rooms have cooking facilities, it is probably understandable. For the short stay tourists, there are several restaurants within easy walking distance and to go further afield, the Metro is close by.

The apartments are quite large and comfortable and the staff were more than obliging as we came in on a very early morning flight and they allowed us to book in early so that we could have showers and freshen up as we were only there for a day with another early flight next morning. Top marks to them for being so pleasant and accommodating!

DO NOT stay in this hotel if you want to get any sleep!!! The noise goes on non-stop, 24h a day!!! Either people coming and going, children running around and screaming (even at 3am!!!), hotel staff shouting at each other in the hallway! And the layout of the room is such that the bed is right next to the door, so you hear everything that goes on outside your room. Bed sheets were stained with something that looked like dry blood, hotel is close to the mall of emirates but veeeery far from everything else... Would have left after the first night, but had payed the whole stay in advance... Would never recomend this hotel for anybody...

Gave us an early check in as we arrived early which was brilliant with my small tired children! Huge spacious clean rooms with 3 bathrooms! Would stay again without hesitation.

Our stay at the Rose Garden hotel

The location is excellent as it is very close to most attractions. The service received from staff is also excellent, very polite and they attended to every request we made. The size of the room is amazing, our 2yr old son had so much fun running around the whole apartment. I would definitely refer to hotel to friends and other family members.

Excellent hotel, great location

Fantastic hotel situated within walking distance of Mall of the Emirates. Very close to station. Staff are very helpful and rooms are spacious with kitchenette and washing machine. Gym and pool also very good. Breakfast is excellent value. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Spacious apartments

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The one bedroom apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a large kitchen, en suite bathroom and separate toilet.It was lovely to have a swim in the roof top pool. The staff were very friendly, efficient and keen to do anything they could to assist us. All in al, I thought this was an excellent apartment hotel and good value for money :)
