1. A fee of $25 for a pet is way too high
2. Always like Best Wester over Motel 6, but this room was no better
3. Went to get breakfast at about eight and there was hardly any food left
4. The AC unit was very noisy
5. While the outside door was locked and secure you could see daylight around the door due to a very poor seal

The first night, my family and I arrived we were woke up by the freeway right over the hotel and construction going on right next-door. The beds were pretty dirty. I ended up getting another room and the suite was still dirty. That was dust on the counters just all around was not a very comfy hotel to stay in And would not be spending my money there again.

I made the reservation for one of our speakers. She showed up with a hotel confirmation number, and it was not honored. She was told there were no rooms available, yet was \"offered\" a suite, and had to pay for it. I am waiting for a full refund of the reservation I made, to reimburse at least part of her expenses. This is a negative review, we will not continue promoting the hotel during our business venues!

Overall, the room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were well kept and inviting. The breakfast was lacking protein of any kind but if you wanted, cereal, toaster waffles, toast, or bagels there was plenty of that.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

**Honest real review from June 21, 2025 **

We were visiting in California for just under 2 weeks and stopping and booking hotel rooms wherever we ended up for the night. I’ve never had any problems with booking until we booked at this hotel. Before I went ahead and booked my room through Expedia, I called the hotel to ask for their rates to see if they could give me a better deal. A lady answered the call and answered my questions, Expedia was still giving a better deal so I let her know I will be booking for the night but I’ll go ahead and do it through Expedia. She then started to sound annoyed and said okay fine but then you owe me a $200 deposit - fair every hotel charges that so I was like yeah that’s fine. She confirmed with me that they only had suite rooms available and they costed more but we were fine with the price. I have now booked our room and we’re driving about 1.5 hours to this hotel. A couple hours go by and she calls me and says oh Expedia has a glitch and they have no rooms available now. I’m like but when I called you - you told me you had only suite rooms available and she goes oh well maybe it got booked by the time we got off the phone? I told her I had everything filled out on the app and that the room got booked within 20 seconds of us getting off the phone and me hitting submit on the room booking? Like all of the suite rooms? She was so rude and continued to make excuses and then hangs up the phone on us. First bad experience ever.

We thought breakfast was fine. Bagels, waffles, muffins, English muffins, cereal, fruit, juice, and coffee. Better than some breakfasts I’ve had while traveling on the road.

Check in was delayed by internet issues, fine, I went to get dinner. When I got back I was checked in with the promise of a late check out. But they gave me a key and room number of an already occupied room. Luckily I did not try to enter that room before the front desk clerk located me and gave me the new key and gave me the correct room number.

When I entered the room it was oddly furnished and STANK of bleach and other cleaning supplies. There is obviously room for a couch or something similar, and there are lights suggesting there should be a table or something in the corner but it was just empty.

This is a pet friendly hotel, but there is no where for your dog to do their business, no bags provided for clean up, and the pet fee is not mentioned where I booked this room.

It was right on the highway and close to gas stations, a grocery store, etc, but I would not stay here again.

The bed was the most comfortable I have felt in a hotel. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. There was no plug for the bath for my children and the shower curtain was inadequate at keeping the floor from flooding. The bubbles for the hot tub did not work.

Our stay was great and the rooms are clean and spacious. Best beds i have ever had in a hotel. Room was quiet even thought it is by hwy 101. The only negative we had was the homeless riff raff of people living by the end of the hotel was a little sketchy. We would stay here again

The people working at this location were very nice sadly that is the only nice thing I can say. I had requested a roll away bed. Even though it was listed as an option they said they do not have roll away beds. Yet they never bothered to contact me and warn me about the issue even though they had over a month to do so. We had to purchase a separate room. The first room was hot, I mean really hot. After 3 hours it started to cool down but then in the night the air kept turning itself off. I kept waking up sweating. I barely slept at all. I recommend finding a different place to stay.

A little family throw down

Let me start off by saying the temp in ukiah during our stay was 100+, only to be told at check-in that the ice machine was broken..not the end of the world.Fast forward to 1:30 am Sunday morning when we were awaken by what seemed to be a UFC cage fight in the room above us which went on for 1 hour before the cops arrived. After all the screaming and the sound of beer cans hitting the ground we really didn't get much sleep after that, the next day we went to the office to be told by the employee he wasn't working last night.

Good clean Hotel if you are looking for a budget Hotel. Service was okay, we did not try their breakfast so we can’t comment on that. If you are just passing by Ukia and need a clean place to stay without paying a whole lot this could be a good option.
Pool was okay, but needs to be clean more frequently. Other than that, beds were comfy and room spacious and clean. Got a fridge and microwave, which very convenient.

The rooms are nice and smell clean a pool is here that looked clean as well. The continental breakfast was terrible the juice and coffee tasted very odd. A toaster that takes 20 minutes to brown a bagel. Waffles looked like eggo waffles just defrosted. The entrance from the road needs to be repaved super easy to scrape unless your at a super good angle.

This was our lodging for the last night of a ten day, nine night tour, and my companions felt this one was the best lodging we had. The rooms were HUGE! Clean, quiet, comfortable. There was a Chinese/Mexican food trailer a half block away that was our source for dinner. We quite enjoyed our stay.
